It was very good, even though it was packed. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Simply fantastic.

Yes, great atmosphere, today's location next to the PSK Dome, and the quality of the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the wait was endless.

Restaurant review: "Driven by hunger – driven away by service" The reception itself promised great things – but only in the realm of ignorance. We were greeted with the warmth of a broken parking meter. No smile, no eye contact, just a wordless gesture toward the table, which probably meant "Sit down, if you dare." To get us in the mood, we ordered a non-alcoholic Hugo – although it tasted less of elderberry and more like "Grandpa found rubbing alcohol in the shed." We briefly considered taking it with us to light the barbecue. Then we committed the biggest faux pas of the evening: visitors announced their arrival, and in our boundless naivety, we asked for an extra chair. The reaction: as if we had asked to be allowed to slaughter a goat in the kitchen. A questionable look, frantic murmuring among the waiters, and finally the serious threat that they "couldn't continue serving us like this." We almost got kicked out of the restaurant just because we had company. Scandalous! For starters, we treated ourselves to buffalo mozzarella, among other things—or rather, the price of it. What was served, however, was a sad cow's milk fior di latte that had probably been philosophizing in the fridge for days about how it was even still alive. The pizzas finally arrived—but so cold that we thought they wanted to go back into the freezer. Perhaps they were part of a social experiment on the topic of "How disappointing can dough with toppings actually be?" And then the grand finale of the lack of planning: The main courses didn't arrive at the same time. While one person was already on their third bite, the other was still waiting for some sign of life from the kitchen. They probably had to Google the second dish first. When the dessert menu was handed to us, we had to laugh—or cry, we're not sure which. The thought of spending any more time in this establishment made us panic. We politely declined and fled feeling like we'd experienced a gastronomic trauma. In conclusion: If you like cold food, warm spirits, and frosty service, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. We definitely won't be back – but we'll tell anyone who doesn't escape us in time.

Very nice, friendly service. Mania attentively but unobtrusively looked after our physical well-being. The entire staff was dedicated to the guests.

Even though the main lunchtime was over, everything took a little longer. The salad was somewhat poorly presented and semi-tasty, and the canned tuna was a meatball... so, there's still room for improvement. The atmosphere is lovely, the place is lovingly designed, and the food is a chain restaurant.

If you simply want a very large pizza, this is the place for you. In terms of taste and price, however, you can get much better. Quite expensive for what's offered.

The music was too loud. We and other people could hardly have a conversation without being noticed. It was dirty everywhere, there were dishes lying around even behind the counter. The waiter was standing there alone with everything and was overwhelmed. There was a huge queue at the door. Everyone was taken to the counter and had to wait. The man from behind the counter just looked out. The counter was full of rubbish and pistachios and glasses were piled up in front of and behind it. There is a clear lack of staff to serve at the front. And Mr. Mall should be behind the counter making sure his work area is clean! We and others left without ordering. It's a shame, Mall loved coming there. But no thanks, never again!

First visit to a L'Osteria restaurant – unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The pizza was cold when served, lacking flavor, and very meager toppings. The pizza size should be reduced and the quality improved. At least serve it hot. :-( No one asked if we were satisfied. When paying, we mentioned the above-mentioned points, but the waitress's only response was: "Sorry, it's busy." What a shame.

That was probably one of the worst restaurant visits I've ever had. It was completely overcrowded, making the noise unbearable. The music was far too loud. The pizza wasn't cooked through and barely topped. We had to ask twice for drinks, even after we'd almost finished the pizza. It was cold, by the way (pizza, too). The air was incredibly bad. The sink in the women's area was broken and overflowing. It was no longer possible to wash our hands. We were greeted by a dispute between the staff. Never again. The concept here really needs to be rethought.

Food: The food was truly delicious. Due to an event at the DOME, we had to wait a little longer, but thanks to the friendly and attentive staff, this was completely fine. We felt well looked after throughout. Location: The location offers plenty of parking, which is super convenient. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and cozy. The outdoor area is also spacious and inviting. You can easily spend a few pleasant hours here and enjoy the time. Tip: Reserve a table online, especially if there are events. We would definitely be happy to come back!

Arrived 30 minutes before closing time after a concert, received a friendly welcome - pizza was still available, and it was excellent. Nice place, good value for money in my opinion.

We spontaneously dropped by yesterday as a group of 11 from Lake Constance and had a lovely evening with delicious food! I've been to several branches, and I have to say, this one was the best in terms of ambiance and location! The service was also excellent! The food was good as always and definitely recommended. Not to mention the parking! If we're ever in Düsseldorf again, we'll definitely be back! Thank you for the lovely evening!

The restaurant is very nice, although I specifically asked them today because it was my wife's birthday and asked them to play a Happy Birthday song after dinner. I had brought flowers and decorations to the restaurant beforehand and asked the staff to give me a nice table in a quiet corner and to please decorate my table. Summary: No song, no decorations, table right by the entrance. The food was good. I found all the service staff very slow. Our hot drinks came after the cake had been eaten and we were ready to leave. The waitress Maria was so nice and helped me decorate the table after the meal.

I just had to rewrite this review because I'm always impressed! A good friend of mine, Stefan, works here, and all I can say is: the entire team is fantastic! The servers are super friendly, we received a warm welcome, and the service was top-notch. The food was simply delicious! We had two huge pizzas, which were not only delicious but also pleasantly light and not too greasy, a huge plus compared to others. We also had spaghetti ice cream and wildberry Lillet, all perfectly prepared. A fantastic experience that I can recommend to everyone. Great atmosphere, great food, and fantastic service! 😊😊😊

The food was tasty, but I found the prices unreasonable. A salad consisting of only one type of leaf lettuce, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and chicken for €15. The menu said strawberries with pana cotta. In fact, it was ONE strawberry with pana cotta for €6.50. Some of the glasses weren't completely clean. The service was very friendly, though, and the atmosphere was pleasant, albeit noisy. There's a varied drinks menu. All in all, I was satisfied.

To be honest, the restaurant is too loud for us, as the acoustics are similar to a train station concourse. Coziness is out of place here, and every time we visit, we get the feeling that the staff is "overwhelmed." Therefore, only the food deserves one more star.

Pizza trends here, pizza trends there, for me, the Osteria pizza remains my favorite! Yes, I love the flat crust, have roots in Northern Italy, only know the Napoli-style from Germany, and I wonder what's good or tasty about it... So, the food was top-notch as always, and the drink selection was good and tasty. The lemon soda, however, was extremely sour in comparison. For parents, this was an absolute jackpot: a great little playground, a large but manageable outdoor area, and a very relaxed staff. After 5 minutes, my children had found playmates, and I had peace and quiet. The kids kept coming back to the table to nibble on pizza or have a sip, and they had a great time playing. The breakfast buffet is available every Sunday and on public holidays – thank you so much for that! There's a huge selection and excellent coffee. It's not cheap, but I'm happy to pay €18 for a pizza that tastes so delicious and offers me so much more than just the great taste—it's a time out for my soul... In Rath, you can also park right outside. La dolce vita, grazie osteria!

We reserved a table for four people for 4 p.m. At that time, the place was quite lightly attended. The service was a disaster, listless, and completely unqualified. We asked that the appetizer and main course not arrive at the same time. Unfortunately, that didn't happen; we had just started the appetizer when the main course arrived. When we pointed out to the waitress that we were sorry they had arrived at the same time, she was visibly uninterested. We also received the wrong pizza, which was then remade. The second time we received the wrong pizza, and the third time we finally received the right pizza. Unfortunately, everyone had finished eating except for the person who had ordered the pizza. It was a shame; the cozy, communal meal was unfortunately not possible. Nobody else came to ask for more drinks, even though there really wasn't much to do. So all in all it was unfortunately another disappointment, unfortunately not the first time this has happened in this branch.

As with every branch, a pleasant atmosphere and delicious, reasonably priced food. Service was a bit slow that day. I have no comparisons to this branch. But I'll be back. 🙃

Such a kid-friendly restaurant! Not only do the kids get to play outside on the climbing frame, but they also get to knead dough and do crafts. Totally awesome! And the food is amazing, too!

Review for L'Osteria – Mother's Day Visit We ate at L'Osteria on Mother's Day – unfortunately, it was overall disappointing. The pizzas were huge, but we weren't impressed by the flavor. The dough was very dry and had far too much corn flour – unfortunately, this completely spoiled the experience. If you want a truly delicious pizza, you're better off going to a traditional Italian restaurant. After the meal, we all had severe stomach aches and digestive issues, which definitely shouldn't be happening. The ambiance was nice and the staff friendly and helpful – but that unfortunately couldn't make up for the poor quality of the food. For us, it wasn't a successful visit.

0 stars – our visit to L’Osteria on May 11, 2025 was very disappointing overall. The service was uncoordinated, unfriendly, forgetful and extremely slow - it took forever for anyone to come and the food was sometimes on the table before any cutlery was even there. Other guests had to get their own oil and vinegar. The operations manager eventually came to our table, but his appearance was as helpful as a hole in a bicycle tire: visibly overwhelmed, passive-aggressive and completely useless to us as guests. What was particularly irritating was how he growled in a condescending tone at the only friendly employee right in front of us. With such a leadership style, it's no surprise that the mood in the team was so miserable. That was definitely the last time for us.

Waiting for drinks and food is embarrassing, waiters forget part of order. Restaurant is half empty, yet they still make you wait in line in front of the door. Our friends were inside and they didn’t let us go inside to have a sit with them.

They sell you, once again, a few small deep-sea crabs as crayfish in the meal "conchilie di fiume". Employee Maria ba. does a top job, thinks ahead and thinks ahead.

The manager was shouting to his workers all the time, he didn’t want to serve us, we were waiting for 15’ for the bill and we were asking for it, they were angry and they charged us more. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I have never seen such a disgrace in my life. The hot food came after the meal and they asked us how we wanted the food. We said it was extra hot and it came without pain. We waited for 2 hours for the food, as if it was done on purpose. It's a complete disgrace, and the staff does not suit such a business.

L’Osteria in Düsseldorf impresses every time. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly and quick. The pizza is huge, super tasty and just right for everyone who likes to share or can't decide - two types on one pizza is simply awesome. The pasta was also fresh and on point. You get good quality at fair prices here - ideal for an evening with friends or an uncomplicated date. It certainly wasn't the last time I was there.

Had dinner at Losteria yesterday There is no comparison to here. I think Vivi said she was very nice and courteous, the food was great and the ambience was also great, the staff and the restaurant were great

The ambience is really nice. It was our son's birthday. However, the service at the Rag wasn't that great. We ordered three pizzas, one pasta and one salad. First came the pizzas, to be honest you had to look for the toppings (seafood) The salad and pasta arrived when the pizzas were almost eaten. They couldn't answer which red wine we were served and, last but not least, we were given the wrong bill. To be honest, we were a bit disappointed because we had expected better after hearing a lot of stories beforehand.

The spaghetti Bolognese was very tasty and I enjoyed it. The staff seemed a bit stressed due to the many customers and were not always completely attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but I didn't particularly enjoy it.

Last night there were three of us in the very nice outdoor area; inside there were only a few tables occupied. After waiting 20 minutes for service, we asked for the May special menu with asparagus. The Lord didn't come up with that automatically. We waited another 30 minutes for our drinks. We had, among other things, pizza with green asparagus. This was very thin in the middle (wide edge) with mascarpone cream and some cheese. In total there was about 1 stick of asparagus in small pieces without asparagus heads on the huge pizza. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not right here at all. In terms of taste it was also of a lower level, simply completely neutral. There was also a male waitress who clearly had no desire at all. We have experienced much better things in the past.

Dear L’Osteria team, On May 3rd, 2025 we had a meal with a total of ten people - my family, my sister's family and my mother - in your branch on Theodorstrasse. It was a special occasion that my mother had invited us to. Our visit began at around 1:00 p.m. - at this point the store was noticeably empty. There was no particular rush or overcrowding, so we could expect reasonable service. Unfortunately, exactly the opposite was the case. The waiter in charge - a young man with a nose piercing - lacked any attention and professionalism from the first moment. Ordered items such as bread, herb butter, garlic oil, water and iced tea did not arrive despite repeated requests. Ultimately my wife had to go to the counter to take care of it herself. When we politely asked, the waiter simply explained that he had “given up on this” and that we would work together as a team. In fact, after we ordered, I observed how he made no move to get the drinks, but instead chatted with colleagues and fanned his face with a card. His behavior was particularly disappointing after we pointed out the omissions: he became rude, walked away without comment and then complained loudly to a colleague - my wife was standing right behind him and could clearly hear him making disparaging comments about us as guests. For a restaurant that wants to stand for family friendliness, good cuisine and hospitality, this behavior is unacceptable. We have enjoyed being guests at L’Osteria so far, but this incident has unfortunately permanently damaged our impression. We hope that you take this incident seriously and resolve it internally. This feeling... the only thing that bothers you is the guests, is lived here... No attention when entering the restaurant, despite there being fewer guests. I then chose the table myself, nothing happened here for 10-15 minutes… Abort! I like L'Osteria in other places, but never here again.

The food is really very good. But the service is very very bad. The young lady with a “no interest” attitude that only keeps young men busy with silly things. All the tables were full of guests who had already left and the tables weren't cleaned for hours, so new guests had to sit at dirty tables. I think someone who takes their work seriously deserves to be in such a beautiful restaurant. Things were forgotten and brought incorrectly several times, yes it can happen. But the waiters and service was the worst I've ever seen. Even though the food was delicious, I won't be coming back. What a shame!
