Absolute catastrophe! Have reserved for an event at 5:15 p.m. Like hundreds of others. However, the manager did not manage to empty the restaurant. It was completely booked and we were all standing outside with reservations. After 2(!) hours there was a table. Incredible mismanagement by the managing director

Pizza, spaghetti and bruschetta were perfect… The ambience is rather mixed, the attentiveness of the service is rather weak at the beginning. Nevertheless the food was very good.

If the pizza had arrived at the table warm, the rating would have been better. But since the service didn't work, the food arrived lukewarm. The ambience was nice. Overall, a lot of potential for improvement.

On January 11th at 8:30 p.m. we experienced by far the worst service ever. After the starter we waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for our pizzas. Repeated questions were answered by the waitress with impudence and loud, disrespectful behavior - I was even called on my first name! The shift manager showed no insight, no apology, but brought in a colleague who was equally perplexed. Both refused to give their names. The neighboring tables were also stunned by this behavior. After 1 hour and 45 minutes the pizzas arrived raw. After two bites we left the food, paid and left. Disgraceful, incompetent service – absolutely not recommended!

The L'Osteria on Theodorstrasse is simply great! No matter how busy it is – the service is always fast, cheerful and extremely attentive. You immediately feel comfortable! The food is really really tasty. The pizza is huge and crispy, the various pasta is absolutely delicious. You can simply taste the quality! I can definitely recommend the desserts at the end, you should really leave a little space for them. Everything just fits here. If I could I would give more than 5 stars. I'll definitely be back! 🔥🍕🍝

Generally, great restaurant, pizzas so big that they go over the edge, crispy, thin, fresh, delicious. Service is friendly, of course small mistakes happen, so not 100%, but still recommended

The pizza was really delicious, fresh and well topped - absolutely delicious! Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The waiters were completely overwhelmed by the high number of guests, which led to long waiting times. Our pizza only arrived after about 35 minutes, the drinks (2 small Fanta, 1 tea) even later. Our seat right by the window was also very uncomfortable: it was far too hot in the blazing sun, no shade and not really comfortable due to the high volume. Only when a door was opened did some relief come - albeit with a strong draft. It would be nice if the staff were better supported to improve the service. A few additional employees could certainly make a big difference here.

Despite a reservation there was no table available. Had to wait 10 minutes. A pizza took over an hour to get to us, and then it was cold.

Always nice and a good thing if you want to eat something delicious before the ice hockey game. On event days in the Dome it is a MUST to reserve a table at L'Osteria. Food and drinks came quickly (we've had a different experience there before), friendly and quick staff (we've also had a different experience there before) and even the espresso was hot this time and not just lukewarm.

Service is very good. Atmosphere has more of a train station character. Food tastes good and portions are sufficient. In my opinion, pizza should also be offered in a smaller version. The pizza is really extremely big. Prices are reasonable, but you usually can't go for less than €20.

Today I was really disappointed. The disappointment wasn't necessarily because of the food, which was unfortunately mediocre today, but especially because of the service. We had a long wait for drinks. Means the food was with us before the drinks. We could observe that the drinks had been waiting at the counter for at least 15 minutes. When ordering two drinks, my colleague and I asked a waitress very nicely whether the drinks that were there belonged to our table and whether we could just take them with us - this wasn't meant maliciously but really as a support. We promptly received feedback from a waitress (blonde with a long braid towards the back) that there was no self-service here and she then entered into a discussion with us. When the drinks were served after another few minutes, I gave the waitress my feedback that I found the feedback very disturbing and customer-unfriendly. I completely understand if you are understaffed, but unfortunately that doesn't work at all. In any case, she tried to continue the discussion with us, even though I didn't mean any harm. However, I found the manner so disturbing that I unfortunately have to give this feedback. This kind of service is unacceptable for any restaurant. Extremely good service. Every wish was fulfilled, the waiter was extremely courteous and personable. Even criticism was handled with respect, acceptance and charm. We'd love to come back!

Unclean cutlery, 20 minutes for drinks and then another 30 minutes. Waited for food despite complaints. pasta without taste, Lasagna simply bad, glass of beer 3cm below the calibration mark. Never experienced such bad food and service.

Opens at 12, but pizza is only available from 1 p.m. Instead of saying something, all guests had to wait until around 1:30 p.m. until the first ones got something to eat. We would have liked to have known beforehand that we would have to wait 60 minutes.

We had dinner there yesterday. My daughter ordered a Llilet. 9.50€. This then came, my daughter tried it and it was immediately complained about. It tasted like everything except what was ordered. Then came the coronation. The waiter came back and said we don't have llilet. Apparently they had just put syrup with water and ice cubes in her glass. That's what I call rip-off and customer fraud. I'd rather not talk about food right now.

Arrived at 9:57 p.m. after trying to reach the restaurant by phone twice to make a reservation without success! When we arrived on a rainy evening we were greeted at the door by a listless waiter with his legs apart! They said they were fully booked even though only 4-5 tables were occupied. When I asked why we couldn't reach anyone by phone, the waiter was surprised - no one had called here! After I showed him my phone and he checked his work phone, he said, "Oh, it was on silent." He tried to excuse himself with ridiculous sayings. They are fully booked, they are expecting a Christmas party with 100 guests on a Saturday evening at 10 p.m. (on January 25th). Even my companion from France was appalled by the behavior. That was the last time at L' Osteria.

We were here with our department, around 14 people. We were immediately shown to our table and served quickly. The service, especially Elina, performed great. Very friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly for the number of people and was very tasty. The dessert was also good. All in all, a really successful evening. I can only recommend it.

Always very busy... without a reservation you are not guaranteed to get a seat. The food was delicious, but the prices for drinks (e.g. Spezi) had risen significantly.

Unfortunately it doesn't taste good at all even though the prices are very expensive. We were six people. We got small tables. We said to the waiter, please can we swap and he said no, we don't have another table. Although, table was very empty. Unfortunately, service was also very unfriendly. I gave him a two euro tip and he said take it back. That is very little. I have never seen or experienced anything so cheeky. Not recommend.

Food is always good but service tends to be slow and errors are often overlooked. This restaurant is part of a chain that has a better restaurant in the aerport.

We waited forever for our food. Our starter (bruschetta) still wasn't there after almost 1.5 hours. Overall, everything took forever - very chaotic. Some guests waited over an hour just for their drinks. If you look at the other reviews, this seems to be a permanent situation; too bad

Been there an hour ago. The greeting starts off funny. With a “Good morning” (in the evening) in Italian, I thought to myself - something is wrong. Then we have to wait 10-15 minutes until something becomes available, even though tables were usable? Well, after waiting, we got a table. We ordered drinks straight away and be careful, no main course but only starters when we were greeted by the nice waitress. The waitress couldn't help it and we could tell she was suffering from the minimal staff. Long story short. After 45 minutes we didn't feel like it anymore and paid for the two Cola Zero, which tasted like discount Cola. Waitress apologized, everything was fine, but I will never set foot there again. L’Osteria “WAR” was great. Really a flop now. Good evening = Buona Sera.

Super tasty, huge pizza. What you can't manage can also be packed up. We were there with 4 people during our lunch break, and after pointing out that we only had limited time, we were served very quickly. Definitely a recommendation!

Rating for La Osteria Düsseldorf Rath: We visited with three adults and one child. Unfortunately, there were a few points that disappointed us: The children's chair provided was completely dirty, which is unacceptable for a restaurant of this class. We also had to wait a long time for service, which spoiled the overall impression. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the quality of the pizza - it really tasted very good and was a highlight of our visit. Conclusion: If the cleanliness and service are worked on, it could be a really great experience.

The pizzas are large and really tasty. Nice crispy thin base, delicious garlic olive oil. Definitely worth a recommendation. 👍🏻 Addition: Service was good and friendly, but they were too busy. So more staff could make it 5 stars. (pastes not tasted).

This store is an absolute disgrace. Regardless of the service, I'll leave that out: we reserved a table for 1.5 hours, ordered the food straight away and paid for the drinks after about 1:15 hours and left again. Food wasn't in sight for a long time. The concept should urgently be adjusted (especially before DEG games).

Unfortunately, a very unpleasant experience before the DEG game. Got to the restaurant to open at 12pm and still didn't receive any food at 1.30pm, the game started at 2pm. When you ask, you're just yelled at: "cancel or keep waiting?" and "I don't want to argue, do you still want to eat?" Absolutely unfriendly to customers, you probably don't need that anymore and you don't have any excuse. As a customer you should just go quickly and not bother if the 90 minute wait is too long. I will no longer visit the chain.

Super friendly staff and great atmosphere. The restaurant is very large, so you sometimes have to wait a little longer for the food to arrive, but experience shows that this happens in many restaurants and is therefore not a problem for me. I had the pleasure of eating at L’Osteria Pizzeria and it was an absolute delight! As soon as you enter you can feel the inviting atmosphere: stylish, warm and full of life. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. Our wishes were promptly fulfilled and we felt well looked after. For me, L’Osteria is the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening with family or friends. I’m already looking forward to my next visit – highly recommended!

The service was very friendly. The pizza very good. Unfortunately, some of my lasagne was cold. Only after two complaints did I get a new piece. Was ok. Nevertheless, I can NOT recommend the lasagne. The dessert was super delicious.

1. Lots of tables not cleared when we arrived 2. When the pizza finally came (ordered with double tuna) two halves arrived that didn't fit together. One cold with at least double tuna, the other at least lukewarm with tuna (I had to look with a magnifying glass) And as I said, they were halves that didn't belong together. Oh, one more thing, we felt like we were in a children's playground. All in all,.... Sorry no thanks not again. We know it differently at L'osteria

Maybe there was a general bad mood in the team here today, or something else was in the air, but my visit today was really just bad. Both the shift manager or boss (the man with the horn tattoo on the back of his head (lol)) and our waitress were not only not friendly, but downright unfriendly, passive aggressive and dismissive. This really irritated all three of us, as we are actually very harmonious people and were very friendly. The aperitifs were completely bland, the pizza wasn't good either and the salad was significantly smaller than usual. Once we said something about the poor quality when we had 2 aperitifs returned because they tasted really bad. In the end they also tried to add a dessert that wasn't delivered to our bill...

I've been here several times now and I can say; nice staff, which takes wishes into account. The food is tasty and good. Best to appear hungry; the pizza is huge and is basically enough for two people 😉 ... What more could you want? I'll definitely be back 🍀☺️🍀.

The food is OK. The service is not. It can't be the case that even though there are at least 8 free tables right at the entrance, you stand there for 10 minutes only to be told by a bored waiter that you're unfortunately fully booked. I then placed my order online because my child was hungry in the car and when I picked up the pizza 30 minutes later - surprise - the tables were still empty! That's just not how you treat guests.

Very disappointing experience with this location. When we ordered the drinks there was no apple spritzer left in stock. No problem, I thought and ordered a non-alcoholic Hugo. Unfortunately it came completely without mint. Instead of shavings of parmesan, my pizza had cheap sprinkled parmesan spread on it. My partner ordered a pizza with salsiccia, unfortunately he got a pizza with normal salami… When we ordered dessert, only one version of the entire dessert menu was available. Unfortunately, we were not informed in advance about all the food that was not available. I have never had such experiences at other L'Osteria branches. Very disappointing.

Our waitress was very friendly and tried to serve all tables on time. Unfortunately, there was the “boss”(?), who mostly sat around and was on his cell phone, and didn't notice that full drink trays weren't brought to the tables. Until we eventually picked up our trays from the counter ourselves. This happened several times, despite repeated requests and appropriate information…. We got the impression that some people wanted to call it a day quickly... What a shame!

Disappointing and absolutely not recommended! On the occasion of an overnight stopover near Düsseldorf Airport, we reached the nearby L' Restaurant on foot (approx. 1500 m). The staff noticed us on site, but initially made us wait in the entrance for some time. After requesting a place for 2 adults and a small child (!) we were turned away because we had not previously reserved. However, the restaurant was at most 25% full. Even our friendly request that we had set out on foot to the restaurant with our little daughter did not persuade the staff to offer us a free seat. Without a reservation, the most we could be offered was something to take away, which we declined. Never again!

Worst case New Year's Eve food! Waitress gave the wrong bottle of wine on purpose! although the recommendation of the house was clearly stated. Background: Bottle recommendation Vermentino 2023 €19.95 given bottle of Vermentino Tuscany €44.95 When paying they just said “oh you wanted the recommendation of the house, oh I didn’t know that” DON'T GET FOOLED!
