Really cozy and with tasty ambience. The pizzas were huge and quite spicy which wasn't indicated in the menu.

Good pizza, but service is not worth the visit. There is unfortunately not any person who knows how to work as a waiter. Drinks do not appear, people have no style. This is simply to expensive for service like this. I was very disappointed

Waited an hour for food here. When numerous customers who arrived later got their food before me, I asked what was wrong, i got told pasta takes longer to cook than pizza and if I wanted quicker food go to McDonalds. I know pasta takes 10 mins to cook…the same as pizza. Service appalling.

We went to L'Osteria on Sunday evening and like all the other restaurants in this chain it was good. The service was quick, the decor was stylish and cozy as usual and the pizzas were delicious. Here you know what you're getting: it's not an exceptionally outstanding meal/"experience", but it's really tasty and the value for money is also right.

Terrible! We ordered gnocchi with shrimps for 16 euros and ended up getting half a portion with only 3 shrimps. I can't recommend it at all!

This is the second time I've been there and it was definitely better than the first time. Service and food was much better. On my first visit I had to wait a really long time and unfortunately the food only came after about 90 minutes. This time everything happened quite quickly.

L'Osteria Düsseldorf on Berliner Allee impresses with huge portions, especially when it comes to pizza. Quality, service and drinks are solid but could still be improved. The atmosphere is inviting. Price-performance is okay, but more attention to detail would be desirable. Overall, a good but expandable experience.

I advise against it. When placing the order, I asked about the waiting time, the waiter said 15 minutes because there was no traffic. We waited 35 minutes and I still didn't get the order. When I said I was leaving, the manager was arrogant.

I waited more than 30 minutes for a pizza. I wasn't the only one who waited so long. The pizza didn't taste like it was frozen pizza. Service is too slow, it took 10 minutes for payment. The waiters are super nice. Ambiance is 10/10.

Went there spontaneously in the afternoon during the week and were given a great welcome by the waiter Josh. The service was 1a. Gladly again !

You can eat very well in this restaurant. You can take up seats outside, inside on the ground floor or on the first floor. Due to the creative furnishings, there is a good feel-good atmosphere even if the ceiling is missing and pipes can be discovered. There were 5 of us and we each ordered a tuna, Margherita and salami pizza and after just a few minutes it was served at the table. The pizzas are huge, tasty but unfortunately the base is quite thin. For the price of €15 you can share one with another person. As a guest you have a clear view of the kitchen, where the pizzas are baked in several ovens. Payment can be made in cash or via smartphone, which is a quick process.

Super bad organization. We were sent upstairs and then after 20 minutes someone came and said we were only allowed to sit on the left side and order. Now we waited unnecessarily and were treated unkindly!!!

Matted hair residue in the salad! We are absolutely shocked by what happened to us at this pizzeria. In our salad we found old, matted hair residues in the form of a lump - an unmistakable sign of serious hygiene deficiencies. We've never seen anything like it before, and just the sight of it was beyond disgusting. The waitress, who was generally friendly, was also horrified. However, we were unable to speak to a responsible person. The restaurant manager was apparently on a “talk” all evening and therefore unavailable to us. There did not appear to be any plans to deal with this incident professionally. We very much hope that the restaurant takes this blatant hygiene incident seriously and carefully examines the causes. Until then, we will definitely avoid this store and cannot recommend it under the current conditions.

Unfortunately, waiting times are always very long. We placed our order and after 45 minutes asked the waiter where our food was. He explained to us that his machine was broken and that's why our order (strangely just ours) wasn't sent. Only after we asked him about it was it processed - and we had to wait another 20 minutes until we finally got our two pizzas. If we hadn't said anything, they probably would have kept us waiting for hours.

I went there with my colleagues. The pizzas are giant and the Cesar salad is delicious specially when you ask to add some goat cheese to that.🤤 the staff is also really nice.

We were served quickly with an online reservation and received a warm welcome. We were able to order quickly and had our delicious food on the table within a few minutes. We expected something different on a Friday evening - really great! We have nothing to complain about...

Unfortunately it was very loud and the tables were too small. There were four of us and the food didn't come at the same time. Two of them were almost finished eating before the others got their food. Food was lukewarm and the beef fillet was not good.

Ate there in December and it was brilliant. Went there last night and it was terrible! Same pizza as ordered in December, but yesterday it was inedible. The pizzas came before the drinks (impossible) and when we complained about the pizzas the waiter did not accept our criticism and responded in a rude manner with excuses!!! No apology, no insight...this store will never see us again!!!

Very tasty meal. Thin base for the pizza, but very tasty. The service was very good! It was a lot less noisy downstairs than upstairs. The staff toilet is downstairs. And above the toilet for customers.

Good pizza but the place is far from quiet

The service really depends on who is serving. Yesterday (8 Feb) different and younger than what we are used to. We come for dinner every 2 weeks, so it is immediately noticeable.

Unfortunately, that was nothing at all! We reserved a table for 11 people for a company party. We also got the table and that was it for the positive! We sat upstairs directly across from the counter and were ignored for the first 15 minutes and nothing happened. After asking several times if we could order drinks, someone finally came. Unfortunately, the house beer was still in the cellar and had to be fetched. We had to wait another 20 minutes for the drinks! The Moscow Mule was a disaster! The menu stated that it would be served with lime and cucumber. Unfortunately, a stale drink came in a glass and not in a copper cup with lemon and no cucumber! This was returned but the gentleman behind the counter was visibly angry and tried to explain that it was done exactly that way but there was no lime in the house! The dishes arrived after about an hour and were not what you would expect from L'Osteria! The pizza with salicca was a disgrace because it was normal salami and not the “sausage spread” as usual. One person in the group also ordered the vegetarian pizza and asked them to leave out the onions and get more olives instead. The onions were left out and there were 4 olives on the pizza! The bruscetta was soggy and had no taste! All in all, the evening was not as usual! It's also a disgrace that the Aperol Spritz costs €6.25 below and €7.75 above!!! If only the service was good! Unfortunately we won't be coming back! And the whole thing for just under €500.00.

It's a very pleasant place, the employees are very sweet, the lasagna was good, but I regret not trying the pizza.

I quite enjoy going to L'Osteria, but I've had the worst L'Osteria pizza ever at this restaurant. The dough was already burnt in many places and my Ceaser Pizza consisted mainly of lettuce with little to no chicken strips. So there is still a lot of potential for improvement!

The service is a disaster. Waiters are unable to take an order, very confused and don't understand German. I would never spend a cent here.

Had dinner at L’Osteria Düsseldorf a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it! The cozy vibe and friendly staff made us feel right at home. Their Pizzas are rich and perfectly cooked. A wide selection of food and drinks. Service was spot-on, and the tiramisu was a dream. Great food, great atmosphere—definitely a must-visit! It was a delightful experience.

Great location, cool ambience. Pizza was huge and delicious, my colleague's portion of macaroni was rather small. Unfortunately the service was absolutely bad, we had to wait a very long time for the second round of drinks and our empty plates weren't cleared away for an hour. Very unfortunate...

We went to eat pizza and they brought us the wrong pizza and the pizzas were not cooked. The employees were very rude and did not listen to us. I ordered pasta with shrimp. It had 2-3 shrimp on it and it didn't even have sauce.

I know the L’Osteria restaurant chain from many German cities, such as Aachen, Düren and Cologne. Unfortunately, our visit to the 'L'Osteria Düsseldorf Berliner Allee' branch in downtown Düsseldorf on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 was a complete disappointment! I don't understand why such a successful restaurant chain saves money on service staff! Why does the customer in Germany have to “accept” and “accept” everything?! Isn't the catering industry ultimately a service industry?! There was no reception staff to greet you and show you to your table, which should be par for the course for a restaurant like L'Osteria. How and for what reason are all the guests entrusted to a single waiter on the ground floor on a Sunday evening? Excuse me, but what benefit does this benefit the guest? We were only able to place our order after 20 minutes. The salad we ordered came after about 45 minutes and the pizza only after an hour! Absolutely and completely unacceptable. Apart from that, the products served did not correspond to the well-known L'Osteria style, quality, taste and presentation. Apparently there is also a problem with the kitchen team in this branch. I cannot recommend L’Osteria Düsseldorf Berliner Allee to any L’Osteria lover. I guarantee you will be disappointed with the business strategy I experienced. I exclude the service staff from this because they are under an unmanageable burden. How can fast, courteous and friendly service be guaranteed to guests when an employee is responsible for an entire floor with a number of customer requests and clearing the tables? Completely impossible! Unfortunately, it won't go beyond your imagination, dear L'Osteria Düsseldorf Berliner Allee Management... the 'dreams and realities live separately' (= 🎶 'Düşler ve gerçekler ayrı ayrı yaşar')

I think L’Osteria on Berliner Allee is great! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The huge pizzas are really good - thin, crispy dough and fresh ingredients... Just the way they should be. The pasta dishes are also really tasty. The service is friendly, attentive and fast, even when it's busier - and if it happens that it takes a little longer, everyone should understand that. At this point a big compliment to the manager Yannick and his team. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. If you want to enjoy Italian food in a great location, you're in good hands here. That's why I'm here so often :-) Highly recommended - see you soon!

Compared to other L'Osterias we were disappointed that day. It was cold, the service was understaffed, and the mood in the team seemed bad.

It was my first time there and I was really happy. But I didn't like the food at all. 15.50 euros for 5 counted shrimps and a handful of zucchini spaghetti. The taste is also really bad. Had to season a lot. The service also leaves a lot to be desired.

Tasty, good food for a good price. Service was a bit rushed, but fine. Giant pizzas, you can take the leftovers home.

Nice restaurant, good service, good pricing and the food comes quite quickly. The food itself was mediocre. Pizza Margaritha was huge but had little taste. The spaghetti Mare (with shrimps) was not tasty. No taste, watery and it looked like vegetable soup.

PS: Maybe more power outlets around the tables? We were with five people, and our phones were dead; we couldn't find an outlet to charge them😅

Unfortunately had to give 1 star New Year's Eve, 8:45 p.m. The shop is empty except for a few customers and many empty tables. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation and were able to leave because otherwise there would be trouble with the boss. There were two of us and just wanted a pizza, so not much effort. 2 doors down Restaurant Portofino. Completely overcrowded but it was still possible to serve 2 people. This does not speak for L' Osteria. The statement that the end of work will be in 45 minutes, i.e. 9:30 p.m., also did not correspond to the opening hours of the website.

Of course, completely overcrowded at Christmas. We then just sat at the bar and the view and service were great.

Loud. Hectic but nice waiters. The salad is disproportionately expensive for what it is. But it was quite tasty. Not even bread. You can only eat pizza here. Last time here.

This restaurant serves you very good food, a nice dining place and a very easy payment method. We came here for dinner with 12 people. We could easily pay for everything we had eaten via the QR code on the table. This is definitely recommended for families and groups of friends who want to eat well.

Waiter spilled my water first. My wine glass was dirty. There was no parmesan and no bread with my pasta. I had pasta with crayfish tails in lobster sauce. Unfortunately there was hardly any sauce to be found and there wasn't even any flavor from the lobster. You could eat it, but unfortunately it wasn't good. If I hadn't been so hungry I would have given it back.

Very poor service. They forgot our food and had to wait very long for it. Even after they forgot about it, they still took very long. They also don’t really seem interested. There was also a big group behind us with young guys and they were shouting and making a lot of noises, and the restaurant employees did not even ask them to be a bit more quiet because of other customers around them. I love L’ Osteria but for me it’s the first and last time in this place in Düsseldorf. You should still learn to be more professional.

The pizzas are huge, the rest can be packed up if you wish. Could have had a bit more taste. Pasta dish was delicious. The homemade juices are a poem, but they are always different.

Visited tonight with my wife. I think the restaurant has a really lovely atmosphere. Design and colour creates a lovely ambience. Regarding the food - I think I will offer my services as a consultant and how they can immediately increase profits by 50% - reduce the portions. The pizza and pasta portions are just ridiculous. A pizza would serve 4 people; the pasta at least 2. This is off putting for a diner. A vast amount of food on your plate is just not appetising. Service from our particular server was just poor. Serving is obviously not his “thing”. It seemed like a bother to bring drinks or the bill. I would love to be more positive about this restaurant but change would be needed first.

The pizzas are legendary and very big, that's why I said they were two pieces. Spinach pasta was also good. The one with pesto had an average taste. Since we went early, we had no problem finding a seat, but it was difficult to find a seat after 18:00. It gets a little noisy when the upper floor is crowded.

The ambience was fine. However, the staff was in a very bad mood and made you feel unwelcome. The staff's bad mood demotivated Extremely and so there were no tips. The food was basically good, but my partner and I had extreme stomach cramps 2-3 hours later. That's why I can't and don't want to recommend the store to anyone.

Service was super fast and very friendly. There were 4 of us there and the food tasted great. Even without a reservation, everything went smoothly and the welcome was very friendly. We'll definitely be back.
