Fizzy drinks taste like water, cola is a must-try, pizza is delicious and filling.

I was one person and waited over 55 minutes for only 1 pizza and the table next to me who came much later than me received orders so quickly! Extremely unorganized and very long waiting hours even if you are one person! If you love your time to be wasted come here.

The best pizza in all of Düsseldorf. It's very large and very filling.

CATASTROPHE!!!! I'd rather not give it a star!! Where should I start… maybe with the fact that the nice lady deliberately didn't take any orders and simply ignored customers!! They should pay more attention to the kind of staff they hire!! They should have competent specialists who are able to communicate with people! Simply inadequate!!

I'm writing as an Italian who eats one pizza a week. I can definitely recommend this place! The pizza is truly good, practically identical to a pizza I've eaten in Italy!

The waiter service is terrible. They pick and choose customers and deliberately delay the order just to annoy them. Maybe we were lucky, but management needs to be careful about people who provide such service.

The location is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. With its attractive decor, it's very cozy and inviting. Even though the portions seem small at first, they are perfectly adequate and delicious. Unfortunately, the service on my last visit seemed rather annoyed and stressed.

We had reserved a table for 7:00 p.m. and arrived on time. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored for about 10 minutes after entering the restaurant – neither greeted nor escorted to a table. Only after this wait did the so-called usher appear. When I pointed out that we were just about to leave, he reacted rudely and unprofessionally, pointing out that there were other guests. To my objection that at least five servers were in the room/had seen us, but no one had noticed us (except for the friendly bartender, who couldn't do anything about it), he simply replied sarcastically that I obviously knew a lot about the restaurant industry. When I explained that I had worked in the industry myself for years, his only response was: "Well then..." I rarely write negative reviews – especially in the hospitality industry, I understand when things go wrong. But this condescending attitude was anything but acceptable. A modicum of politeness and a brief greeting should always be acceptable – especially when guests are obviously waiting. By the way, we weren't the only ones: Two other families also stood unnoticed in the entrance area for at least five minutes. In addition, a certain unrest was palpable in the team – minor tensions among the employees could be heard (e.g., a waiter who felt like a colleague was watching him while smoking). In short: The food was good and served promptly. However, the reception, and especially the shift management, left a very negative impression. Conclusion: If first impressions count, then this one was unfortunately anything but hospitable. A little tip for the receptionist: A small apology costs nothing – but leaves a big mark. That's when you really notice what makes a person tick.

We were there at lunchtime on a Saturday. The downstairs restaurant was packed, and at first they didn't want to open the upstairs restaurant, making us wait a while until they finally opened. The food came fairly quickly and was very tasty!

Oh, difficult... I usually enjoy eating at L'Osterias all over the country and love the huge pizzas. But yesterday, it arrived cold and didn't taste so good either. The crust was quite crispy and unusually hard. Well, maybe it's just a matter of taste. There was also an incident in the group that dampened the mood because the server didn't address a person's complaint (the food was way too salty) and didn't offer an alternative solution. Only after complaining to the original server did someone else take care of the matter, and she was allowed to order something else. It could have been done that way, or the server should have first checked in the background how it should be handled...

Extremely poor service. You're barely seen, and they're not friendly either. Not ideal if you're looking for a nice meal out. The pizzas are good, but one pizza for two people is more than enough. They're large pizzas with plenty of toppings.

It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food, even though there weren't many customers in the restaurant. The music was unbearably loud while we waited. We sat next to the kitchen, and only 5-6 pizzas came out of the oven every 15 minutes. The pizza chefs first arrange the large pizzas on smaller plates with their bare hands. Then the service staff take over, taking orders, bringing drinks, and taking payments. They then have to decorate the pizzas with basil, etc., cut the pizzas, and there are lots of hands on the food before it is served. Not very hygienic. The waiters try very hard and are diligent, but the workflow is anything but optimal. The food is delicious, but this is definitely the last time we visit this osteria branch.

We spontaneously decided to go there for dinner one Saturday afternoon and booked a table online. The restaurant was packed, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. The food is delicious, with generous portions. The staff are very friendly and up for a laugh. We recommend spaghetti carbonara and tortelloni with prosciutto and panna. Dessert is not to be missed: panna cotta and creamy mascarpone cream.

We received superb service. Efekan not only delivered on time, but also left us with a smile. Perfect service. The pizzas are large, but very thin. So don't be fooled; if you're really hungry, you'll manage. Taking them out afterwards is no problem.

Me and my wife visited this place for dinner. The selection of different Pizza and Pasta is enough to find something for everyone. The food was okay but we had to wait a long time to receive it (35min). We still recommend this place because the quality of food is good and you can get enough for 10-20 Euros.

We waited for about or more than 15 minutes before someone came to us, paid attention and allowed us to order. It felt like the waiters were pretending not to notice you. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the taste and the atmosphere.

Chris is an outstanding server! We'll be happy to come back and enjoy the delicious Rosé Rosato Primitivo.

Very disappointing at L'Osteria Düsseldorf on Berliner Allee. We've been waiting for our food for over 30 minutes, and the service is extremely slow. Beforehand, we were given a Coke that didn't taste like Coke at all—more like sparkling water. Absolutely not up to the standard you'd expect from a restaurant like this.

The pizza is so big that three people can share it. The pizza is salty, but the pasta is really delicious.

Our order was forgotten in the kitchen. After an hour of waiting, we had to leave and couldn't eat. Anything can happen, but at least a small apology would have been appropriate. Instead, we received a rude "it was busy," and were told to pay for drinks and appetizers. What a shame.

Unfortunately, this time at L’Osteria in Düsseldorf's Berliner Allee, it was a disappointment. We've been here before, and it was always good, but this time it was very disappointing. We ordered a pizza without spicy oil. When we received our food, it turned out there was oil on it, which can happen, so we reported it to the staff. We had to make some effort to get it because they didn't see us. We were then given a new pizza. We were very happy that this was resolved this way. After eating, we had to wait fifteen minutes for our plates to be cleared. We had to ask for this ourselves. By that point, there weren't many tables left. Some of the food was being packaged, so we had to get a box for that. Meanwhile, the employee in question was at another table, taking the bill and then chatting with colleagues. We tried to get the staff's attention again; there were at least five people standing near the kitchen, and we got the feeling that an employee saw us but didn't respond. Finally, the employee realized she'd forgotten to get the box. We then had to pack the food ourselves. After paying, the waitress immediately left with a rather blunt "ciao." A simple "sorry, I forgot" and wishing the guests a pleasant evening would have completely changed the situation. This isn't something we're used to from L'Osteria, and we certainly won't be returning to this establishment.

The food was very good, but the service was a disaster. It started well, but then it got busier, and suddenly the staff started arguing among themselves about who was serving which table. At the neighboring table, cards were handed out, but their orders weren't taken. A little later, they rightfully got up and left. The staff just stared after them, confused. Our food arrived, but we would have liked more drinks, and we were thinking about dessert. But despite calling, no one came. I got up, went to the waiter, and paid. FYI, there were four of us.

Everything was great, Mr. Akın took special care, we were very pleased. I will visit this place when I come to Düsseldorf alone. Not only the place but also the food was very good, the portions were very good. I want to try their pizzas on our next visit, and the fact that it was a complimentary meal was a big plus.

I ordered a margarita and a tuna pizza. The tuna pizza didn't have any tuna on it. I complained, and they told me that was the normal amount. Unfortunately, it was a total rip-off.

We were there two days ago. I ordered the Spinaci pasta, my boyfriend the Gorgonzola pasta, and our friend a tuna pizza. Both pasta portions were really tiny and disproportionate for the price of 14.95 and 13.95, respectively. My Spinaci pasta tasted good, but my friend's wasn't cooked properly. The pizza was a considerable size, so large that it spilled over the edge of the plate, but it was thin as paper (more appearance than substance) and the taste wasn't particularly satisfying, as my friend told us. Service took over 15 minutes, and we weren't served until we asked. Our food didn't arrive for another 25 minutes. Our drinks were simply served in 0.5 liters, even though none of us had ordered large ones, and we didn't ask; they were simply brought, probably to drive up the price. Ultimately, it's a more than basic chain restaurant that I wouldn't recommend. The prices aren't appropriate for the quality of the food, nor for the portion sizes of pasta, for example. You'll definitely get better value for your money and have a more pleasant experience at other places. :) This was my second time there because I wanted to give Losteria another chance, but this will be my last.

Unfortunately, the L'Osteria restaurant disappointed me. The wait times were so long that potential customers next to us left after 30 minutes without being served. The cleanliness wasn't great either. An employee lightly wiped a dirty table with a cloth, leaving traces of grease, and then offered it to a customer. I don't even want to start with the employees. You can tell in this restaurant that very few people are passionate about their jobs. One person is only at the bar and is on his phone the whole time, and the others aren't that enthusiastic either, and you can tell by the way they serve.

I knew this place from work and finally had the chance to get my family also familiar with this. Pizza is amazing and with a diameter of 40+ cm really big. It takes some time to finish but when you are really hungry even that is a piece of cake.

A fantastic restaurant. They have a fantastic selection of vegetarian pizzas, and they're incredibly delicious. Even when we ordered a pizza with a mistake, they immediately made a new one without hesitation. The pizzas here are truly huge and incredibly filling!

The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice, and, with the exception of one waitress, the other staff members were really friendly. However, it's unacceptable that people roll their eyes when you ask for basics like Parmesan cheese and bread, and make faces when you need space for the stroller. Especially since the restaurant was truly empty and the waitress wasn't under any pressure. You didn't feel welcome.
