As in every L'Osteria, the pizza was really great, as Germany was playing yesterday it was very busy and we waited about 40 minutes for our food, which is okay considering the crowds. The service, although it was stressful, was really attentive and friendly. BUT this guy yesterday with a hat and glasses was incredibly unfriendly, I think he's a shift manager there or something, he yelled at the waitresses, he grabbed a young lady by the shirt and waved his hands, we guests looked on and couldn't believe it. I wanted to intervene and tell him not to touch the girl. You need to talk to him about how he treats employees.

Unfortunately a very bad experience. We waited an hour for the food. The pasta with tomato sauce was hardly seasoned and very watery. Tastes like pureed tomatoes. The waiter was friendly, but the service was really bad.

We went to l'Osteria with a couple of friends. The pizzas were amazing, with very good products, maybe the best ones I have had in Düsseldorf. HOWEVER the staff does need training !!! The service was extremely slow, e.g we ordered drinks that arrived after maybe 30 minutes every time and despite reminding the staff. We saw them going in and out with empty hands when we had ordered bottled beer. Once again, the food is amazing but the experience is really damaged by the lack of professionalism of the staff (who stays friendly though)

Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck with the spaghetti Bolognese twice. At first there was a small stone in the sauce and afterwards I had severe stomach cramps from eating. The pizza may be ok, but I can only strongly advise against pasta dishes. Update 04.09. A few days ago I sent an email to the address in the comment, but of course I received no response. Furthermore, one day after my review last week, I had to see a doctor because of abdominal cramps (I don't want to go to the Dezail) and was then given sick leave with appropriate medication. That's why I made one star out of 2 today. In addition, I am apparently not an isolated case, as more guests have reported stomach problems after eating in the reviews here.

Yesterday I had a reservation at 2:45 p.m. at L'Osteria with another 4 people because we wanted something to eat. We arrived on time and the store wasn't full. The patio outside was also half full. When we arrived at the reception, no one was there...The waiters were running back and forth and the recipient wasn't there for the next 20 minutes. There was also a couple in front of us and they were visibly dissatisfied and annoyed...They waited for half an hour even though they also had a reservation and the store wasn't full. When the recipient finally arrived after 20 minutes, we told him directly that we were running out of time because we could only stay until 4:45 p.m. (there were still plenty of free tables during that time) The recipient didn't even say sorry to us, he said we should keep waiting for a cheeky white one for unknown reasons... The couple in front of us asked the recipient what the problem was because they stood there for half an hour even though they had a reservation and the store wasn't full. The recipient simply and visibly ignored them.... It was just too much, we wanted to We didn't stand there stupidly for so long and decided to walk away like the couple in front of us and the other 3 people behind us as well. If you want to invite someone to dinner you should know what to expect... The recipient is so unfriendly and uninterested in the guests, so I've never seen anything like that before.... No apology, no eye contact, nothing... All I can say is don't go there, find a better restaurant to make friends with to invite.

Hello, Food was good but we had to wait half an hour just for the drinks and the food came after over an hour. Most of the people who came after us were served before us, which is a bit outrageous.

Rarely seen such poor & incompetent service. After waiting outside for half an hour for the waiter, the cards were brought to us. After a 10 minute discovery phase, we were ready to order something. 20 more minutes passed & a waiter was nowhere to be found. The neighboring tables were piled high with dishes. Then finally the colleague came and took our order. We ordered a total of 2 pasta dishes, a Cola Zero & a rhubarb spritzer. 5 minutes later we got a normal cola and a non-carbonated spritzer. Since it was 34 degrees, we ran out of patience, another 20 minutes. Waiting for the waiter to get what we actually ordered. We were happy with the food so far. Not particularly bad, but not particularly good either. That's fine for a lunchtime snack. ATTENTION DEJA VU: We waited another 30 minutes for the waiter until he took the empty plates and told him that we would like to pay. I have to say, I have never, NOT given a tip, but unfortunately the service was absolutely bottomless. I would have liked to have left something for the kitchen. 2/5 ⭐️

Green flies, wasps, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps after eating the pizza. You shouldn't go if you want to stay fit. Unfortunately it takes a long time until someone comes, the good Roches are reserved even though no one ever comes there. The table is dirty and I clean it with a stone cloth. You get the crumbs on it yourself when the waiter cleans. The prices for drinks are extremely high, it's unbelievable that cola and water cost the same. After 20 minutes the pizza arrived, a good pizza takes 3-6 minutes when open. There are pigeons, green flies and wasps that are annoying when you eat. Wasps are everywhere but pigeons and flies are a sign that the area is not clean. You should work on it or have the public order office check the whole thing. After eating the delicious pizza, you have to say that it tastes good, you feel nauseous, you get stomach cramps, you have diarrhea and you vomit. This turns out to be not an isolated case or due to an intolerance, but rather several people had this in a short period of time. I've been there twice and every time it happens. You should check everything to see where the nausea is coming from and where the flies are coming from. In the restaurant next door you don't have this, same corner and no flies. Update: I should send you an email, the address doesn't even exist!

I am only writing this review so that I can forewarn future guests who would like to visit L'Osteria. Here is my experience: I approached the store because I love the chain and have probably already left thousands of euros there, mostly in Cologne. There was a man sitting there who looked at me strangely. I thought to myself, it doesn't matter if it's a stranger. Later he came into the bar and helped himself, which means he is the branch manager. After he took his drink he looked at me seriously and strangely again. No smile, no hello. I sit down, no one comes. After 10 minutes I ask, then someone comes. I order and then the wait begins. After 40 minutes I went to see one of the 3 waiters who felt extremely overwhelmed by what seemed like 5 tables. After I asked where my food was, the one waitress seemed fucked up and said “WAIT” and walked out. The other waiters couldn't be found and the lady at the bar was also overwhelmed. Nothing at all. Suddenly someone came with my food and said that my pasta needed to cook for 13-15 minutes. I understand that, but I've been waiting for almost an hour now. So that this review doesn't go beyond the scope, here's my conclusion again. Kindness 0 Service 0 Food was okay. Competence 0 I just think that the manager has absolutely no control over the store, which I think is a shame for this beautiful interior. Next time I'll actually look at the reviews before I go to a L'Osteria because my experience agrees with many of the others. Too bad.

Any Italian would certainly find it terrible, but we really like the "Caesare e Pollo (Pizza Bianca)" with mozzarella, chicken breast strips, romaine lettuce, Parmesan and Caesar dressing that is available at l'Osteria :) And it tastes best when she comes fresh from the kitchen. What we like about this L'Osteria in summer is the open concept on the ground floor. You sit inside and feel like you're outside thanks to the open sliding glass doors. Went here on a Friday evening and was happy with the service and our pizzas. See you again soon :)

Arrived August 17th 8:30 p.m. Ordered at 8:45 p.m. After 1 hour of waiting, still no drinks and no food. Drinks were actually forgotten by the employee. Then she continued to wait for the food - which she also ultimately forgot about. People who came 1 hour after us got their food faster or before us. We then approached another waiter who wanted to see where our food was. He said the cooks were just working, it would take another 5 minutes. 5 minutes became 15 minutes again. In total we waited almost 2 hours for the food. When our waitress brought the food - no apology, nothing but she just charged us straight away! Although you usually do this after you've eaten. At the end we asked her for 2 blankets. She said she would bring it to us straight away - she didn't. It's my first bad experience with the restaurant. I was always happy but after yesterday, I won't be going there anymore.

It took a very long time to be served. The staff preferred to talk to themselves rather than serve the customers, even though they had shown us to the table themselves. People kept saying “my colleague is coming soon”. Our pizzas and pasta weren't that tasty at all for all four girls and were rather cold than warm. For the first time we didn't finish our food in the LOsteria and left it standing.

Bad service, long waiting times. I had to go in and get my water myself because it didn't come after three requests (about 25 minutes). Food came at different times so you couldn't eat together. In addition, the prices were raised again generously (probably nationwide). L'Osteria is no longer worth it!

L'Osteria is a great restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The dishes are authentic and rich in flavor. The portions are generous, so you're guaranteed to be full. The selection of Italian specialties is impressive, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, a recommended place for anyone who loves Italian food!

1 hour wait to then get a cold pizza? Never again!

I don't know how the food tastes as we are still waiting for it... It's not particularly busy, but still the waiter didn't come to us, so after 30 minutes we had to go to another waiter to ask for the menu. He then quickly took our order, but we've been waiting for an hour for just a pizza. Nobody comes to us to tell us the status or offer us another drink. We actually don't have any appetite anymore. Not-so-fun fact: the toilets are extremely dirty, never a good sign. Not again.

I visited the restaurant and was absolutely disappointed. The service was terrible: the waitress was rude and disinterested. We had to wait a long time for our order and when the food finally came it was cold and tasteless. The atmosphere was also not inviting. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant.

My pasta was good but 1 mini basil leaf is a bit economical. High price level like in all of Düsseldorf. Everything was right for me but the table next to me got the wrong pizza.

Really bad! Food was oily, cards smelled like old rags, glasses were not washed or washed poorly because there was lipstick hanging on them everywhere. The waiter wasn't interested when I mentioned this and asked me directly about the tip. Simply disrespectful, dirty shop.

Were here for the first time. Very tasty food. I had a lasagna and a Taturfo ice cream. It took a little longer until our food arrived and we were served, but it was still “within limits”. We sat inside, behind the drinks bar and it was very pleasant and nice to sit there. Gladly again!

We had an amazing experience at L'Osteria. The pizzas were incredible, with a perfect crispy crust and delicious toppings. The Aperol Spritz was also fantastic, refreshing and well-mixed. Our server, Kim, was outstanding. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, Kim made our evening even more enjoyable. If you're looking for great pizza, drinks, and top-notch service, L'Osteria Düsseldorf Berliner Allee is the place to be!

Food arrived late and not at the same time (not even almost). One pizza was cold and another was floating in extremely spicy oil. In addition, everything became even colder because we still had to wait for knives 5 minutes after receiving the food.

The salad is very good. The place is really nice, the bathrooms are nice but although they were clean there were a lot of papers on the floor. It took them a long, long time to serve although there are quite a few waiters, but it is a place that has two floors, the open kitchen looked good and clean, normal price for the area.

We were quickly seated and got our drinks within 20 minutes. We ordered 4 pizzas and had to wait 1½ hours just for one of them to arrive. People around us were also getting served very slowly; seemed to be a general problem. Another 20 minutes later we received the second pizza which was already rather cold, as if it had just been forgotten somewhere. We kept asking the waiter how much longer it would be for the remaining 2 pizzas to arrive. We kept being told that they were on their way. Obviously that was not the case. Finally the waiter came back to us and told us that the kitchen had made a mistake and only prepared 2/4 pizzas. We decided that we didn't want to stay any longer and left. Highly disappointing as we were very hungry and looking forward to a nice lunch. I recommend you only visit, if you have plenty (and I mean a lot) of time to spare.

Waited over an hour for two pizzas. On a normal Tuesday. Little to no empathy. And that wasn't the first time. For anyone who doesn't plan to spend their day here, avoid it.

We ordered 4 Pizzas at around 1pm. At 2:30pm 2 out of 4 Pizzas came, although they were stone cold at that point. We waited another half an hour for the other 2, just to find out that they had never made them. Service was friendly but clearly overworked with big communication issues.

Such a bad experience, the waiter made a mistake about the order, two other tables that came after us already got what they ordered. Stay away this kind of chain restaurants if possible, because the quality of the service changes all the time. We had to pay the drinks and the first course only, he even asked us to leave!!!!

The service was a disaster. He was quite nervous when serving us and had previously been instructed not to serve us. He always discreetly didn't look. The only good thing today was the Lambo next to the restaurant which made up for the two hour wait for drinks. Therefore deserves 5 stars for the ambience.

It's just system catering. Actually everything is ok. Not bad, but nothing special either. The location is not good, right in the middle of an intersection. If you sit outside, you inhale a lot of exhaust gases and have to endure the street noise.

We visit this place regularly, and it is a sufficient restaurant to satisfy our hunger. However, my review is not about the restaurant itself but about the customers who visit it. Guys, did you just crawl out of a cave five minutes ago? You need to throw your trash in the garbage bins in the restrooms, not all over the place.

Well, I've been to one of these branches several times now. But only because I was invited. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go there again on my own. It's always packed. That doesn't actually bother me. As a result, the waiters are always very inattentive. My blackheads were always relatively happy. Pizza seems to be reasonably good there. However, none of my friends ever ate it. In my opinion, a good Italian must make good spaghetti aglio e olio. And they're just creepy here. The spaghetti is super dry and there are no pieces of garlic in it. Just garlic oil, which is actually a bit rancid in my opinion. Oh yes, I also ordered pepperoncini, so I wanted it spicy. What I got were two long pickled, flaky light green peppers. The boring ones without any sharpness. When I asked, I was told that that's just how it is with the L'Osteria franchise. And yes, that was the case elsewhere when I visited. Okay, they consoled me with a Ramazzotti on the house. But honestly: I do Spaghetti Aglio e Olio 10 notches better. With a delicious sauce that is made from Bronzo water and oil if you do it right!

The worst employees humanity has ever known - racist and without any knowledge of decency and civility. Despite the presence of children, the receptionist refused to help us, showing his annoyance at the stroller and our headscarf. Even though there were empty tables, he didn't allow us to sit down. After we spoke to him, he started screaming and blustering.

My family and I came with children on Saturday July 6, 2024 and the employee showed no interest in us and asked us to wait for five minutes. He went to clean the tables outside from the rain and put reserved signs on the remaining tables and didn't let us eat for free and many options and restaurants near this restaurant hope that the staff will be disciplined to them that the customer is capital. We were there on Saturday 22nd with 4 people, that was the bad experience I had. We ordered drinks and they came to the table after almost 30 minutes. We ordered bruschetta as a starter and this was brought to the table later than dinner. The spaghetti was brought to the table cold and the pizza wasn't cooked through. The food would be brought to the table after husband two Ma had asked first after 30 minutes of the order and then after 45 minutes. It was bad to see how people had ordered take-away food from the restaurant and got the food out quicker than we got it to the table. As I said, the pizza and pasta were brought to the table first, then we spoke to the waitress because they were The starter wasn't on the table yet, after the husband had eaten half the pizza the bruschetta was put on the table. It's a real shame that in a restaurant like this, where you know there are a lot of tables/guests, the staff doesn't work well and there's no apology. Because of the bad experience we will consider going further to L'Ostreria.

This restaurant is really very disorganized! We've been waiting for our food for over an hour. People who came after us received their food long ago and left the restaurant long ago. This restaurant is not recommended.

A solid price/performance ratio in a pleasant atmosphere. This can be said in summary. The location is very centrally located in Düsseldorf and has an outdoor area on both the ground floor and the upper floor. The quality of the food is solid. The special trademark are the extremely large pizzas. Definitely a recommendation for lunch or an evening in good company. Not for an overall culinary experience, as the location is too touristy. During my visit, which can only be a snapshot, the service was significantly below average. Too slow, reminders of orders were necessary and a little flippant in communication. But test it yourself.

Worst store ever, everything from the service to the food is very bad. It's not the first time I've been there. Each time I had to wait at least 10 minutes for one of the waiters to move to the table. And today the crowning glory: we were seated by a waitress, so that another one would come after 15 minutes and tell us that we weren't allowed to sit there because the terrace was closed. Plus we didn't get any food because there was only pizza left? And that after she took the order? Then just say that we won't get anything other than pizza?

Very cool and cosy place to eat in near the centre of Dusseldorf. They have a good variety of drinks, and their pizzas were massive and delicious too! Service was also top!
