The pizza was really good – large, tasty, and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our evening. The waiter was very rude and disrespectful. When we asked to pay separately, he got annoyed and practically tried to pressure us into paying together because he obviously didn't want to do the separate checks. In the end, he even made it clear that the tip wasn't enough for him – which, frankly, is quite cheeky for such behavior. It's a shame that such inappropriate service put a bitter aftertaste on what should have been a lovely evening.

This pizza was simply delicious, the best I've ever eaten. The staff was very friendly. I'll be eating here more often!

The food was really good, but the service was disappointing. The server was inattentive and seemed unfriendly, as if he didn't want to care about the guests. Furthermore, he was dissatisfied with the tip and indicated that he had to give 3 percent of the bill to the kitchen. In my opinion, this has no place in a restaurant. Overall, the poor service significantly detracted from the positive impression of the meal.

Went there very late (around 2200) on a Friday with a group of around 8 people. They were very friendly and we had a seat after just a few minutes. We had some nice pizzas! They were really good! The dough was crispy and thin. The toppings and sauce were delicious! Had a grappa afterwards, was not my kinda drink but out group Italian said that's how you're supposed to do it and that it was good. The service was always nice! I would definitely recommend this place! Really good food and friendly service!

This is an update to a previous review of this same location. I had left a negative review about eight months ago because of repeated issues with the service—long waits, no communication, and a general lack of care. The owner responded and asked for a second chance (really more like a third), so I decided to give it one more try. To be fair, the food was good this time, and the atmosphere felt more put together. But the service still didn’t feel welcoming. I got the sense that I was bothering the server just by placing an order. That might sound small, but this was their chance to win back a customer. If this is the best version of the experience, it’s probably not the place for me. I gave it one more shot. I don’t think I’ll be back when I’m in Düsseldorf. Had great experiences at the locations in Köln and in Mannheim, it’s just this location that seems to fail to deliver.

Unfortunately, our visit to L'Osteria Düsseldorf (Berliner Allee) was a very disappointing experience. Despite having made a reservation, we were ignored; the staff was overwhelmed, disorganized, and unfortunately, unfriendly. The service was simply abysmal – neither attentive nor helpful. We waited a very long time for our drinks and food. The food itself was okay, but the overall poor service completely ruined the evening. For us, this was definitely our first and last visit. It's a shame – because we were actually looking forward to a nice start to our stay in Düsseldorf.

Very friendly staff, and our pizza, which we wanted to share, was brought to us directly on two plates. Very attentive!

So if you're really craving pizza, they have very good and large pizzas, pasta, and so on. I highly recommend it :)

We ate here for my best friend's birthday. It was absolutely delicious, and the food arrived very quickly. It was absolutely delicious. Since it was my friend's birthday, she got a free dessert. I also want to emphasize the service. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, and he accommodated even the smallest requests. I would come here again.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was extremely crowded, and we had to wait over an hour just to order one pizza. Unfortunately, the quality of the pizza did not justify the long wait. We were with a child who became very upset due to the extended waiting time, and the pizza finally arrived after 80 minutes. In addition to that, we had to wait a long time just to place our order, and again waited far too long just to get a simple receipt. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I do not recommend this place.

There were four of us there. The staff was completely overwhelmed (as if they were working there for the first day). At first, we were completely overlooked as new arrivals in a fairly small space. After 20 minutes, someone finally came to us, but only because we made ourselves known by waving. We each ordered just one pizza each (nowhere near a three-course meal). After repeatedly asking due to the endless wait, we were told it was Saturday, which is when it always takes that long. Then, after 45 minutes!, they promised us that our pizza would be in the oven in 10 minutes. After nothing happened after well over an hour, we decided to leave. When cleaning the tables, they just wiped around the dirt. (Unfortunately, we had enough time to observe the uncoordinated and totally overwhelmed behavior of the staff.) Conclusion: Only go there if you want to stick to a diet. You'll succeed there.

We were there 3 weeks ago. It was a complete disaster, unfortunately. There were too few staff and those who were there were completely overwhelmed. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Others who ordered after us got theirs before us. One of our dishes was overseasoned and had to be returned. Then the wait staff accidentally spilled a drink at our table. There was no apology. The restrooms were a disaster. No toilet paper and no soap. There was toilet paper all over the floor, even in the corridor to the restrooms. What a shame... we've seen it differently at other restaurants.

We went to L'Osteria as a group of six. Our first impression was very good. Despite the restaurant being full, we got a table after just seven minutes, and the server was super friendly and attentive. What was unfortunately not acceptable: We had to wait over an hour for our food. That was truly disappointing. Waiting that long can make you lose your appetite, especially when you see that other guests who arrived after us got their food much faster. The food itself tasted good. The pizza and pasta were delicious, but the long wait significantly diminished the enjoyment. Conclusion: Very friendly service and good food, but the extremely long wait had a very negative impact on the overall impression.

We were very disappointed with today's service. We ordered a seafood pizza. We waited 40 minutes for our order. The server brought us the pizza and left quickly. The pizza was cold and there was almost no seafood on it (see photo). The server didn't come near us again. Another server came over to pay. Never again!

The pizzas were all delicious, and were so big that you won't find them in Japan. Margherita, asparagus, ham, seafood, etc. I had the spaghetti aglio e olio, which was also delicious with a little salt. I also enjoyed the Italian wine.

First of all, we were a very large group. The food, especially the pizzas and pasta, was excellent as always. The service was courteous and usually quite fast. What bothered us a bit was that the pasta dishes arrived very quickly, and then the pizzas arrived well after the people had finished their pasta dishes. Yes, I can understand that the number of pizzas at once is difficult, but it worked out wonderfully that they arrived at exactly the same time. But it was a bit of a shame that the pasta dishes came so much earlier. With a group of 20 people, you should regularly ask if they would like more drinks, or even suggesting drinks is always a good idea. That would have certainly sold one or two more wines and beers. Or espressos, but since there was a long wait for those, most of the group decided against dessert and coffee, which is just a shame for a restaurant. We went somewhere else afterward, but I would have been happy for L'osteria to have the profit.

We decided to sit outside here on a Saturday evening and have something to eat and drink. The osteria was almost full, so we were lucky to get a table. Service was quick considering how busy the restaurant was. We got our drinks very quickly, the food took half an hour to arrive, and the taste and portion size were good.

The wait was horrible. I sat alone and was ignored by every server. Every table around me, even though almost everyone arrived after me, was served immediately. To me, that's simply terrible service! I shouldn't have made the long journey to this restaurant...

I ate there alone today. My dish was completely oversalted and inedible. I told someone and sent the food back. They then gave me a cappuccino, but I still had to pay for the food, even though it wasn't edible, and I returned it. Very poor service, unfortunately.

I was at Losteria recently and I have to say, the service was absolutely disastrous! You'd think the waiters were having a secret eating contest to see how long they could ignore a customer. I waited a full 40 minutes for a basket of bread, and while my drinks vanished into thin air, the waiters seemed to have won a contest at 'pretending nobody's there.' Disastrous, especially; the blonde girl with the nose bike has no business being in a restaurant. I won't even get started on the food. -1 star.

Nice big pizza, but servise is terible, pizza is not cuted right and dish is smaler than pizza so its touching dirty table. Vaiter was mean and she touched our pizza with dirty hand.

Caesar's salad was soooo poor, a few lettuce leaves, half of which was spoiled, the chicken was dry and tough, there weren't many people there but we kept the food for about 1 hour. I have eaten in many L’Osteria and have always been satisfied, but here the price does not correspond to the quality and quantity of the food

Today was very busy and we had to wait a long time for our food. We wanted to cancel and were upset. The employee listened to us in his positive manner and gave us our food for free. To sweeten the evening we were given sweets. Thank you very much for that and I hope it works out next time so that we can enjoy our food there.

The food was really delicious, as were the cocktails! We ordered a spaghetti bolognese and a calabrese pizza and everything was cooked perfectly. I was particularly impressed by the size of my pizza: it was so big that it went over the edge of the plate, but the dough was still thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The service was also excellent: the waitress was very friendly and polite, which made the experience even more pleasant. A great discovery.

Ordered salad with pollo. Little dressing at the bottom. Salad wasn't mixed and the dressing seemed dry. The chicken was dry and lukewarm. This portion has definitely been in the kitchen somewhere for a while.

Extremely slow and rude service. We waited for our food over half an hour and the bill as well. Also, instead of getting the bill, we were asking if we would like to order a coffee instead.

The owner (?) hangs at the counter with his cell phone and simply says “you have to look outside for a seat”, then sat outside at some point and was smoking. It just smelled like a drain outside, no matter what area. Drinks and salad came quickly, we waited over an hour for our food. When it arrived there was a dish with chicken instead of shrimp, and the notice said it would take 5 minutes. After a while I spoke to a service person, but somehow nothing really happened. It took almost 25 minutes for the corrected food to arrive. The shrimp weren't even fully cooked. My food was cold when my friend's food came. We then quickly asked for the bill, received a half-hearted “sorry,” no “compensation” or anything else.

Today I was in this pizzeria and would like to share my impressions. It was a disappointing evening. We waited over an hour for the pizza. The pizza was very thin, with little toppings and extremely dry edges, cherry lemonade - sweet water with a cherry flavor. Toilets are not cleaned. I can't recommend this place and I won't go there again.

The food was great. All in all, really delicious. Price/performance ratio is good, even if we found the lasagna a bit small. Our waiter was very friendly and there was also some joking around. It was really great. The only stupid thing was that it was very loud and I basically had to scream at my wife.

We went to Loseria for dinner and ordered two pastas. I ordered pasta with basil and shrimp, and my husband ordered carbonara. For the first time I see that Italians spared sauce and Parmesan for pasta. The quality of the pasta was worse than what my child cooks at home. Thank God the shrimp were cooked well enough. The carbonara didn't even have parmesan, the sauce was runny, as if they had just poured cream on top of the pasta. Service is something separate. We begged for a table to be found for us, after which the waiter took the order as if we had not come to the restaurant, but as if we had come to his home. When I asked him to bring salt and pepper, he looked at me as if I owed him something or got him something. In general, the restaurant is atmospheric, but the cuisine and service have deteriorated greatly. We gave this place a second chance but no longer. For this reason, I do not recommend visiting this Losteria!!!!

I visited L'Osteria on Berliner Allee and would like to share my experiences. The location is attractively designed and the open kitchen provides a nice insight. Service was friendly but there were some minor misunderstandings with orders. I tried the Pomodoro with Burrata, which was good, but a little more flavor wouldn't have hurt. However, the pizzas with mushrooms and the vegetarian version were better. Overall it was a pleasant visit and I would happily return.

The bruschetta starter for 4 people was served without an extra plate, so you had to make sure not to spill everything on the table. The spaghetti carbonara was very dry and had almost no sauce, and the bread that was ordered with it was forgotten. The fork that was dropped by the staff was only complained about after we asked. So far the worst L'osteria branch I've been to.

After a lovely day full of shopping in Düsseldorf, my sister and I were looking forward to ending the day with a delicious Italian pizza. Full of anticipation, we entered the L’Osteria restaurant - a large, stylishly furnished room that was almost empty at the time, as most of the guests were sitting outside on the sunny terrace. We looked for a place inside and sat comfortably next to each other on one of the benches. While we were still looking at the menu, we were suddenly approached by a gentleman who we didn't initially recognize as an employee - casually dressed, heavily tattooed, unkempt and with a noticeably tired look. In an extremely unfriendly tone he instructed us to change seats, without giving any understandable reason. When we politely asked if he was actually talking to us, since the entire interior was empty, he responded with even more annoyance. I calmly explained that we were happy to sit here as long as there was no need to change seats and that we just wanted to enjoy our pizza in peace. But the employee didn't let up and became increasingly unpleasant and unprofessional. We finally decided to leave the restaurant so as not to allow ourselves to be dragged further down to this disrespectful level. Unfortunately, the man accompanied us to the door in an unpleasant manner, continued to talk to us and even said that he wouldn't allow something like that to happen at our house - to which I could only answer him that he wasn't at home either, but at a job for which he obviously had neither the necessary politeness nor the personal suitability. This encounter was so unpleasant and invasive that we felt seriously threatened. If I hadn't wanted to have my day ruined, I would have considered calling the police. One thing is clear to me: I will not go to this restaurant again and I cannot recommend it, especially to women - especially not if they appear self-confident or simply look good. The employee in question should urgently consider another job.

It can't be true. For two pizzas you have to allow at least 45 minutes and that's neither Friday evening nor on the weekend!!!
