The highlight is the Lößnitztalbahn, which runs directly past the restaurant.

We took part in the Christmas buffet and we didn't miss anything. The price of €45 per adult and €22.50 was only appropriate because of the amount on offer, otherwise it was too high.

Despite pre-ordering for 15 people in the middle of the week (so there wasn't much going on), the staff seemed completely overwhelmed, bored and unqualified. Sometimes even unfriendly and snappy. Service looks different because we know this location differently. Unfortunately, the owner of this restaurant changed some time ago. The service looked significantly better back then. Too bad. The food, however, was very good. Kudos to the kitchen.

We had the opportunity to try out all sorts of delicacies at a buffet and were thrilled with every single one. Huge praise goes to the kitchen and another to the very friendly and cheerful staff. We will be happy to come back.

Today we were with the family for a pre-Christmas dinner at the Lößnitztalschänke. It was a wonderful evening. The restaurant was very busy and yet the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter Sandro made our stay very pleasant with his humorous and friendly manner. Special requests were also taken into account and the food was very plentiful and tasty. It was a very nice evening and we will definitely be back soon. We wish the entire team a merry Christmas.

After there was a change of operator in spring 2022, we went there for dinner three times. Immediately after this change of operator we were very dissatisfied. The menu had not changed or only changed minimally. The quality of the food no longer impressed us at all. In 2023 things looked completely different. The dishes now on offer appealed to us again. Since we weren't here yet in 2024, we reserved a table for 2 people for the 3rd Advent. The reservation is a quick matter and can easily be done online. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table on the veranda. The veranda isn't bad, but the sunshine can be very annoying. It was also quite warm here. Due to the large number of guests present, we expected a long or long wait. Our drink and food requests were quickly accommodated. We decided on Königsberger meatballs made from salmon and cordon bleu, filled with Obazda and ham. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and the food was served in a reasonable time, so there wasn't a long wait. The staff was busy, but didn't seem stressed. Our meals were well prepared and the portions were not small. The taste convinced us. The salmon-based version of Königsberger Klopse is a great alternative to meat. We didn't have to wait long for the bill either. It was good to be here again. Nothing has changed in the good standard experienced in 2023. We were and are still very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Spontaneously arrived here just in time for the 3rd Advent. We were lucky, there was still a place for 3 people. Suitable for eating very good meals after a walk. We like being here because there is always a good atmosphere, very friendly service staff, extremely good cuisine. Questions about details about dishes, espresso, etc. can also be answered perfectly at any time. Today we had the pleasure of having Sandro at our table again. Despite the restaurant being full, the waiting times were absolutely fine and if you're just stressed out in the run-up to Christmas and don't even have time for a leisurely meal in the restaurant in the evening, it might be better to cook yourself at home. The entire staff was quick and attentive, which is what counts. The interior is a bit old and could use some fresh charm, but otherwise everything was really great. We'd love to come back.

Reserved a table by phone. After half an hour the drink order was taken and after 1.5 hours no food was received. Saying the restaurant is full is no excuse. When asked about the fact that you can't offer more seats than you can serve, the announcement came that the guests are to blame because they book online. It doesn't work at all.

Wir waren begeistert von dem tollen Service von Anfang bis Ende. Das Essen kam nach nur kurzer Wartezeit und das Personal war sehr aufgeschlossen und zuvorkommend. Insbesondere Tebo war engagiert zu unserem Wohlbefinden beizutragen. Er hat den Abend auf jeden Fall mit seinem Charm und Humor bereicherten können. Wir sind seit Jahren hier Gast und kommen auch gerne wieder!

Yesterday we went to the Lößnitztalschänke with the whole family for lunch and then coffee time. We were absolutely thrilled with our waiter Tebo. An incredibly warm person with a super pleasant manner and a great deal of humor. Anyone who calls him out simply has no sense of humor. The food was of course also great and all 13 people got their food at the same time. Therefore also a compliment to the kitchen. We will definitely come back.

We had reserved the table on the veranda months before. A family reunion was planned and so we came from all regions of Germany... were looking forward to a long evening and to seeing everyone again. There was a lot to talk about for a long time... That was the plan. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, we were greeted with the fact that the table in the veranda had been given to another party and that we would be allowed to leave again in 2 hours, as our table would then be reserved for others. No information about this in advance, not even a week before, when we asked again whether everything was going as booked. With this knowledge we would definitely have spent this evening differently and not THERE! No, it wasn't a nice evening... We couldn't enjoy the food or the conversations knowing that we only had 2 hours for everything and then we were shown the door. In addition, the ambience was marred by the constant coming and going of many people and the service staff, who kept reminding us that we had to leave soon. This restaurant hasn't understood that eating out is only secondary about eating something... but rather a place to meet and be together. You want to spend time with your loved ones and enjoy it! Unfortunately, we were only able to do this to a very limited extent. Communicating like this and treating guests like this in this day and age is

A guy. Tourist restaurant - many large groups, therefore many guests and therefore long waiting times. We sat upstairs so there are hardly any stars for the ambience. It's not appealing up here. The staff was friendly and nice, but due to the large number of guests, great service was not possible. The food was delicious, there are hardly any compromises here. The one star less comes from the comparison with other restaurants and the price/performance ratio there.

I used to go there often and was always very satisfied. What happened? Prices very high - beer 0.5l for €5.50 outrageous. And then picked it up at the counter 20 minutes after ordering. Menu very clear. Neither home cooking nor beef to be found 😢. Pork steak with fried potatoes for over €23 - very disappointed. At coffee time there were around 10 pieces of cake left (€4.50 each). The agreement was to have it on the table for dinner. Some people also eat cake in the evening 😉. What was missing - our cake.

The service is a bit poor for the size of the area, but everyone is friendly and does their best. The food is excellent and the price is completely reasonable. The guests' wishes are taken into account and sometimes some things are left out of the dish and others are added. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

The Lößnitztalschänke in Radebeul, located directly on the Radebeul / Radeburg narrow-gauge railway, is a beautiful and rustic restaurant. A variety of events are offered or organized. A reservation in advance is recommended in any case. If you want, you can then climb up to the Spitzhaus via the Spitzhaus stairs and enjoy a beautiful view. It is also possible to stop at the Spitzhaus.

At least peeled - albeit warmed - potatoes and not unpeeled baked potatoes like in many places. Ice cream sundae for €9.50🤔, who likes to pay that in a “normal” restaurant🤔 1 year ago: Cozy, rustic, beautifully located, service friendly, quick, food is tasty. There would be no need to overload the plates with canned ingredients.

Finally found a restaurant where people cook themselves (no helpers from the bag). The beer garden is very inviting and cozy, the service is excellent and the chef👌🏻 is simply great👍🏻 Thank you very much for that ❣️💐 We will definitely be back and are looking forward to the new menu 😃
