A very nice restaurant. The waiters are very friendly, not overly so, but genuinely so. The food is delicious; the food is still cooked here, and you can taste it. I'll be back on my next vacation.

Despite the full house, the service was very nice and friendly (Sandro). The food was once again delicious; we'll definitely be back.

I can only recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was great, the waiter (Sandro) was friendly, the location was beautiful, and the Lössnitzgrund Railway with its steam locomotive ran right past the restaurant. So go there and see for yourself.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance. The waiter, Tedo, was really nice. We all ate asparagus, but unfortunately, it was a bit undercooked and still a bit hard. Nevertheless, the food itself was very tasty!

Beautiful location in the Lößnitzgrund, rustic atmosphere with a beer garden. Menu "German bourgeois", prices and quality are good, as is the service. Minor accounting problems were resolved promptly and quickly by management to our complete satisfaction. Restaurant is very suitable for family celebrations etc. Clear recommendation.

Absolutely recommended. We only got a table in the unfavored basement, but we had a wonderfully quiet and draft-free place. Perfect!

It's worth a visit here if you're in the area, it wasn't anything special but okay if you want to be catered for on a hike.

Hello everyone, we were at the Lössnitztalschänke for dinner for the third time today. The restaurant is highly recommended in every respect, whether it be its warmth, hospitality, or the taste of the food. We tried many different dishes from the menu and were delighted. A big thank you also goes to the waiting staff, especially Tebo and Sandro, who served us. Just as much praise goes to the kitchen staff who prepared the delicious 😋 dishes. The restaurant offers a beautiful, rustic ambience. It's also worth mentioning that the Lössnitzgrundbahn railway runs right past the entrance. Great atmosphere. Especially thanks to the cheerful and attentive staff, despite the obvious stress. The food was delicious, and the portions were reasonable for the prices. While clearing the table, our waiter noticed that there was still food on our plates and asked us what the problem was. This is the kind of service you'd want anywhere.

We are regulars at this wonderful restaurant and visit it very often – and for good reason! The food is always excellent, freshly prepared, and simply delicious. The entire team is incredibly hospitable and creates a wonderful atmosphere. We would especially like to highlight waiter Tebo, who always puts us in a good mood with his witty manner and is also polite and attentive – simply fantastic! We have also held several corporate events here, and every time it has been a complete success. High praise to the entire team! Highly recommended!

Great place. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. The menu showed good home-style cuisine and the selection was extensive. The food tasted really good and was nicely prepared. The pricing is very fair for the size of the portions. The service was friendly and courteous - apart from one waiter who had neither decency nor a shred of etiquette. It's one thing to call a guest on a first-name basis and it's probably "normal" these days. Repeatedly calling the female guest “princess” even though she is accompanied by a man remains a no-go! Even when his rude behavior was pointed out to the waiter, he continued his disrespectful, inappropriate behavior! Maybe normal in his culture, but something like that shouldn't be tolerated. It's a shame, because this turned what was a nice visit into an unpleasant stay. Was probably our first and last visit.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday there with my family. We really liked the restaurant, the food tasted great and the service was fast, friendly from start to finish, especially the nice waiter Tebo. I am very satisfied and will be back soon.

Absolutely fantastic! Went here after a long trip all the way from LT and it sure was the perfect place to dine, rest and chill. The servers were very friendly, the food was much more than I could ask for and the whole place was decorated in carved wooden masterpieces. I recommend 😋

Today we went to the Lößnitztalschänke for the Kochsternstunde menu for the first time. It was very tasty and Sandro was very attentive as a host. He answered all of our questions. When we paid we were able to take the rose with us today, depending on the occasion. That's another nice touch.

Great restaurant - dedicated team. We have been regular guests for many years - especially in winter. The operators come up with a lot of ideas to ensure variety according to the season. Both on the menu and in the decoration. In December you can drink a great mulled wine around the campfire in front of the Christmas tree and rock out to après-ski hits. Insider: There is a children's corner to play in the upper part of the restaurant. This makes it particularly attractive for families with children.

The food is excellent. Otherwise it is a mixture of garden restaurant and restaurant with very good cuisine. So very suitable for hikers in the nearby vineyards.

The highlight is the Lößnitztalbahn, which runs directly past the restaurant.

We took part in the Christmas buffet and we didn't miss anything. The price of €45 per adult and €22.50 was only appropriate because of the amount on offer, otherwise it was too high.

Service looks different because we know this location differently. Unfortunately, the owner of this restaurant changed some time ago. The service looked significantly better back then. Too bad. The food, however, was very good. Kudos to the kitchen.

Of course it was very crowded at Christmas time and we had to wait a long time for the food, but we were rewarded with the best sauerbraten I have ever eaten. The service was very nice. And we would love to come back.

Today we were with the family for a pre-Christmas dinner at the Lößnitztalschänke. It was a wonderful evening. The restaurant was very busy and yet the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter Sandro made our stay very pleasant with his humorous and friendly manner. Special requests were also taken into account and the food was very plentiful and tasty. It was a very nice evening and we will definitely be back soon. We wish the entire team a merry Christmas.

After there was a change of operator in spring 2022, we went there for dinner three times. Immediately after this change of operator we were very dissatisfied. The menu had not changed or only changed minimally. The quality of the food no longer impressed us at all. In 2023 things looked completely different. The dishes now on offer appealed to us again. Since we weren't here yet in 2024, we reserved a table for 2 people for the 3rd Advent. The reservation is a quick matter and can easily be done online. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table on the veranda. The veranda isn't bad, but the sunshine can be very annoying. It was also quite warm here. Due to the large number of guests present, we expected a long or long wait. Our drink and food requests were quickly accommodated. We decided on Königsberger meatballs made from salmon and cordon bleu, filled with Obazda and ham. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and the food was served in a reasonable time, so there wasn't a long wait. The staff was busy, but didn't seem stressed. Our meals were well prepared and the portions were not small. The taste convinced us. The salmon-based version of Königsberger Klopse is a great alternative to meat. We didn't have to wait long for the bill either. It was good to be here again. Nothing has changed in the good standard experienced in 2023. We were and are still very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Spontaneously arrived here just in time for the 3rd Advent. We were lucky, there was still a place for 3 people. Suitable for eating very good meals after a walk. We like being here because there is always a good atmosphere, very friendly service staff, extremely good cuisine. There were 6 of us and we visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was completely full. The service and the food were very good, good portions to fill up and enjoy. Despite the restaurant being full, the waiting times were absolutely fine and if you're just stressed out in the run-up to Christmas and don't even have time for a leisurely meal in the restaurant in the evening, it might be better to cook yourself at home. The entire staff was quick and attentive, which is what counts. The interior is a bit old and could use some fresh charm, but otherwise everything was really great. We'd love to come back.

Reserved a table by phone. After half an hour the drink order was taken and after 1.5 hours no food was received. Saying the restaurant is full is no excuse. When asked about the fact that you can't offer more seats than you can serve, the announcement came that the guests are to blame because they book online. It doesn't work at all.

Yesterday we went to the Lößnitztalschänke with the whole family for lunch and then coffee time. We were absolutely thrilled with our waiter Tebo. An incredibly warm person with a super pleasant manner and a great deal of humor. Anyone who calls him out simply has no sense of humor. The food was of course also great and all 13 people got their food at the same time. Therefore also a compliment to the kitchen. We will definitely come back.
