Lô Sushi & Asian Cuisine präsentiert sich als Restaurant mit deutlich spürbaren Stärken und ebenso klaren Schwachstellen. Die Sushi‑Gerichte überzeugen sowohl geschmacklich als auch preislich; die Reis‑Textur, die Frische der Zutaten und die ausgewogene Würzung machten mehrere Gänge zu echten Genussmomenten. Gleichzeitig bleibt das Gesamterlebnis ambivalent: Die Tische und das Mobiliar wirken abgenutzt und wenig durchdacht, was dem sonst ansprechend komponierten Tellerbild die Bühne nimmt. Die Lichtstimmung ist so stark gedimmt, dass sie das Ambiente eher erschlägt als es zu bereichern; sie dämpft die Energie des Abends und erzeugt eine schläfrige Atmosphäre, die zum längeren Verweilen wenig einlädt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Team war funktional, Deutsch wurde gesprochen, jedoch mit deutlich wahrnehmbaren sprachlichen Barrieren, die Erklärungen zu Spezialitäten und Empfehlungen erschwerten. Serviceorientierung und Herzlichkeit blieben hinter dem Erwartbaren zurück; höfliche Gesten wie spontanes Lächeln, ein freundliches „Gern geschehen“ oder ein lebhaftes Interesse an der Gästewahl fehlten weitgehend, wodurch der Besuch emotional kühl wirkte.

Das Sushi war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Der Laden ist außerdem hübsch eingerichtet und wirkt auf den ersten Blick gemütlich. Leider war unser Aufenthalt trotzdem nicht ganz so angenehm. Es war im Restaurant sehr laut, und da keine Hintergrundmusik lief, hat man nur das Stimmengewirr der anderen Gäste gehört, was schnell anstrengend wurde. Wir kamen gegen 19:30 Uhr an, der Laden war zu diesem Zeitpunkt etwa halb gefüllt. Es gibt zwei Bereiche, und obwohl im einen Bereich viele Tische noch frei waren, wurden wir an einen kleinen Zweiertisch mitten zwischen andere Gäste gesetzt. Der Abstand zu den Nachbartischen war so gering, dass man das Gefühl hatte, mit am Tisch der anderen zu sitzen. Als später zwei andere Tische frei wurden, fragten wir freundlich, ob wir umsetzen dürften. Der Kellner reagierte darauf jedoch ziemlich unfreundlich und meinte, der Vierertisch sei nur für vier Personen – obwohl dort an den anderen Tischen ebenfalls nur Paare saßen. Letztlich durften wir an einen anderen Zweiertisch wechseln, wo es etwas angenehmer war. Ironischerweise wurde der Vierertisch kurz darauf von einem anderen Pärchen besetzt, obwohl weiterhin mehrere andere Tische frei waren, war dann scheinbar doch ok. Auch der Service insgesamt war leider enttäuschend: Auf Nachfragen, zum Beispiel nach Sojasoße, kamen patzige Antworten, und es wurde während des Abends kaum nach uns geschaut. Unsere Getränke waren lange leer, ohne dass jemand fragte, ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten.

Ich komm seit Jahren wenn ich sushi essen möchte immer hier her und im Sommer bestell ich mir am Liebsten die Litchi Lemonade, richtig lecker. Was schön ist die machen ihr Wasabi selbst aber leider schmeckt es nicht nach Wasabi dafür gibt es 1 Punkt Abzug. Beim nächsten mal nehm ich mein Wasabi von Zuhause einfach mit ;) was für die auch ok ist. Denn die meisten Deutschen mögen das scharfe originale Wasabi aus Asien nicht, deshalb bekommt Man das richtige auch nur im Asiashop. Alle anderen Sorten im Supermarkt sind extra an den Deutschen Gaumen angepasst. Aber im allgm sehr zu empfehlen!

Am 13. September habe ich dieses Sushi-Restaurant besucht – leider die schlimmste Erfahrung in Hamburg. Ein unangenehmer Geruch, 40 Minuten Wartezeit, obwohl kaum Gäste da waren, und wir wurden einfach vergessen. Die „heißen“ Rollen kamen kalt, der Sojasauce-Behälter war schlecht verschlossen und hat meine neuen Hosen ruiniert. Am Ende fand ich sogar einen Haarbüschel mit Schmutz in der Serviette. Fazit: Unhygienisch, unorganisiert, absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Das Essen hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Preise sind außerdem sehr angemessen.

Unverschämt! Kaum angekommen, wurde mir gesagt, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Auf Nachfrage hieß es dann plötzlich, Kartenzahlung erst ab 20 €. Als ich etwas von der Mittagskarte bestellen wollte, wurde mir erklärt, dass Kartenzahlung dort generell nicht geht – nur mit der Hauptkarte. Das ist reine Kundenverarsche und für mich ein absolutes Unding. So ein Verhalten wirkt nicht nur extrem unprofessionell, sondern riecht stark nach Steuerhinterziehung. Für mich nie wieder!

Essen war super, Service ok, Ambiente ok jedoch etwas unsauber im inneren Bereich, Tische kleben, und auch das Aquarium sieht nicht sehr gepflegt aus.

Ich wollte alleine für meine Familie Abendessen kaufen, aber niemand grüßte mich. Als ich ihnen sagte, dass ich etwas zum Mitnehmen bestellen wollte, sagte ein Kellner mit Brille „Ach so“ und tauchte nie wieder auf. Ich ging hinein und bat den Kellner an der Bar, meine Bestellung aufzunehmen. Ich dachte, alles sei in Ordnung, aber als ich bezahlen wollte, wurde mir gesagt, dass wir, außer wenn wir im Restaurant essen, bar bezahlen müssten. Ich war schockiert. Es gab kein Schild, das darauf hinwies, dass Kartenzahlung nicht erlaubt sei. Ich äußerte meine Verwunderung, und dann zeigte eine Kellnerin, ohne mich auch nur anzusehen, in eine Richtung und sagte, an der Kreuzung da vorne sei ein Geldautomat, und dann ließ sie mich einfach stehen und ging. Niemand fragte, ob ich Geld abheben wolle, und niemand entschuldigte sich … Ich wurde mehrmals so allein gelassen. Sie müssen nicht so unhöflich zu mir sein, wenn Sie Steuern vermeiden oder einfach nur Gäste im Restaurant bedienen wollen. Endlich sagte ein Mann mit schwarzer Brille wenigstens „Guten Appetit“, nachdem er das Geld eingesammelt hatte … Vielen Dank. Das Essen war zwar lecker, aber ich war wirklich wütend.

Preis Leistung ist Top. Kann man sich nicht beschweren. Das Personal ist super freundlich und frischer kann Sushi gar nicht sein.

Man merkt, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird.

Wir wollten uns zum Mittagstisch hinsetzen und wurden auf nur Bar Zahlung hingewiesen. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass Karte doch funktioniert, aber nur wenn man von der Hauptkarte bestellt. Grund seien die ohnehin reduzierten Preise beim Mittagstisch…der wahre Grund scheint dann steuerlicher Natur zu sein…wir gingen wieder ohne zu essen

Unbedingt vorher auf Kartenzahlung hinweisen!! Das wird unter allen Umständen verweigert!! Warum wohl...

Leider enttäuschend und fragwürdig! Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal bei Lô Sushi & Asian Cuisine, aber diesmal war’s wirklich eine Frechheit: Beim Außer-Haus-Verkauf wird ausschließlich Bargeld akzeptiert, obwohl man vor Ort ganz normal mit Karte zahlen kann. Warum? Die Dame am Telefon hat das Ganze auch noch so ungeschickt und auffällig erklärt, dass man sich schon fragt, ob solche Bestellungen überhaupt in der Kasse landen. Ganz ehrlich: Das wirkt mehr nach Steuertrick als nach Service. Vielleicht sollte da mal das Finanzamt zum Sushi vorbeischauen – allerdings auf Rechnung bitte!

We waited over 40 minutes for drinks, then left because we were apparently forgotten. Very poor service.

Mediocre food, poor, sometimes unfriendly service, coupled with an uncomfortable basement atmosphere, and you have a restaurant you won't necessarily want to visit again. Coincidentally, the card reader is also "broken," so you have to pay in cash, like a backwoodsman. Very annoying, and only so they can save a few euros.

The food is delicious and there's a good selection. We really like it here, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside has deteriorated, and so has the service—less attentive.

Even if it looks nice from the outside, appearances aren't as good. I've been there at least 5-7 times because it's quite centrally located in Eppendorf, but I won't be eating there again in the future. First and foremost, I have to mention this persistent refusal to accept debit cards; the current policy seems to be "over €20 it's okay." However, I've had to argue a few times before to get my card accepted, or I was even sent to the nearest ATM, even though the reader was clearly working. The second major drawback is the lack of hygiene. Some tables are sticky, and there's trash lying around everywhere. A shopping cart on the terrace, and the restroom area is completely cluttered with boxes and other junk. If you don't care at all about how you're perceived on the outside, you don't want to know what's going on in the kitchen. Last but not least, the poor service must be mentioned. Even if some of the staff are polite, you're handed the menu at first, and the food arrives eventually. However, when it comes to paying, we had to ask three times before finally having to go to the cashier ourselves. My question about the coffee cup being only half-filled was met with a clumsy excuse that the coffee cups were so large, which is why it looked that way. As a customer, you feel cheated when you're handed a half-full cup. The food itself is actually good, as long as you choose one of the main courses. The chicken sushi was unfortunately underwhelming and tiny for €5.50. Noodle and rice dishes were always quite tasty and served in good portions. My companion once criticized the wasabi for already smelling rather musty, which reinforces the suspicion that they don't care enough about proper storage and timely preparation of the food. All in all, it's dispensable and in the future I'll look elsewhere in Eppendorf when I go out to eat again.

We ate outside and got a really great spot. The service was very friendly. The portions were very generous and absolutely delicious! I'm thrilled! It's reasonably priced!

My worst sushi experience ever. I don’t know how they managed to get this good rating. The sushi was bad, the service was bad, the atmosphere was bad. The sushi not only tasted bad but also the quality was bad and it was definitely not fresh. I would rather give minus stars.

Really bad store. Was there for the second time because I actually liked the sushi. On this visit we had to take the menu cards ourselves, the order was only taken after a 30 minute wait and then half of it was forgotten. The worst thing is, since today I have acute gastritis, inflammation of the stomach lining! There must be significant hygiene deficiencies there, the health department should check there! Zero stars, never again!!!

The sushi was very tasty and there are many special variants, including many without fish/meat. Unfortunately the service was a bit disappointing. We had to wait a long time for little things like cutlery and wasabi, which was a shame. And although the restaurant is open until 11 p.m., we were slowly asked out from 10:15 p.m., which I didn't like.

The food is really delicious and of very good quality. Unfortunately, it's annoying that you always have to bring cash with you. It feels less like a friendly request and more like a coercion - whether it's €20 or €150. Unfortunately, this really spoils the otherwise great food!

I was in this restaurant for the first time last weekend. I have to say, in terms of price-performance ratio, this was the best sushi I have ever eaten. The staff was also very accommodating and the ambience was also good. We'll definitely be back!

Very tasty sushi but also good ramen. It can get full very quickly and then very loud, but everything is within a tolerable range. The toilets are not for people with claustrophobia.

I've eaten sushi here a few times with my girlfriend. It is advisable to reserve in the evening/weekend. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The sushi is great, fresh and delicious. The tables may be a tad too small if you order several things. The toilets are one floor below. The best way to reach the restaurant is to take the subway to Kellinghusenstrasse. I always enjoy coming here!!

Good day, I ate a Pho soup that was really tasty, but unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly. I had to wait a long time for someone to take my order and then another very long time to pay. The staff doesn't ask at all if you need anything or if everything is OK. You just get the menu and that’s it. It would also be advisable to pay a little more attention to hygiene, as the toilet was not clean and the restaurant as a whole seemed unclean - the conditions were almost unhygienic. The food is good, but unfortunately I was very disappointed by the staff.

Was there at lunchtime with family and friends. Nice terrace. The price ratio is really good. We ordered the special bento for 3. The rolls look very good and taste very good with a variety of flavors. My husband got the Pho noodles, which is also really authentic Vietnamese. Can only recommend

Lunch only with cash payment. Normal menu from 20 euros with card. I find it impossible that something like this still exists. The atmosphere is uncomfortable and it seems unclean. Unfortunately it smelled very unpleasant, like stale water. The taste of the food wasn't convincing either. At the end I got a tip of 3.60 euros for all of this so that I could pay by card. I can only advise against this restaurant.

The sushi was really very very little and very thin. So you don't get full. The flambéed salmon was partially burnt or charred. Unfortunately the curry wasn't good either.

Delicious curry at a good price

Delicious Asian cuisine is on offer. Large selection of sushi and great for sharing and trying with several people. Delicious soups and rolls. The three of us shared a sushi platter and each a single dish and were €30 per person with drinks. The food came quite quickly and was also beautifully presented. Definitely worth a visit👍.

So I don't know if it's just me, but the employees are unfriendly. I ate two types of susi, one good and one bad. What I mean by bad is that it was stale and the water smelled like a fish market. So if you trust your luck, sit at a table.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lol Sushi is an absolute gem in Eppendorf! This low-key spot has a wonderful, relaxed vibe that's perfect for a casual dinner or lunch. The outside area is especially great, offering a charming and cozy atmosphere. The food is very nice, with fresh and flavorful sushi that never disappoints. It's no surprise that locals love this place—it's definitely a neighborhood favorite. Highly recommended!

We went here based on the good reviews. Besides that, the waiter was very kind and fast. However, the ramen noodles were one of the worst I have ever eaten. The soup was watery, and the veggies were uncooked. Also: Who puts Broccoli/Cauliflower in Ramen? My friend ordered the sushi, and it was alright, nothing special. The tables are very close to eachother. Its hard to have privacy. I've been to their other branch before, and it was way better.

All in all, good average. Had sushi, that was okay. My companion had ramen, which wasn't that good (especially if you know better ones). Service was nice, perhaps could have been a little more attentive, but it also got busy. However, there was no table reservation for us, but it was made in advance Prices are fair, I would say. There is a deduction in the ambience for the blowing ceiling or plans on one wall and for the fact that everything was very close together. Maybe there was water damage or something and we had to move together? A restaurant that I would probably come back to - but not for ramen 😉 (then of course there will also be an updated rating).

Mega delicious sushi, kimchi, edamame and wakame

Delicious sushi and very good quality. Price/performance is totally right here. The large plates for 2 or 3 people are particularly recommended. The great thing about these plates is that you can really try everything on the entire menu. Large selection of classic sushi but also very tasty own creations. The bento boxes offer a little bit of everything. My favorites are the sashimi and the fried sushi.

What a deception. The Suhsi has become tiny, the prices are the same. Drinks unfortunately grossly overpriced, service very nice, but understaffed. A pity.

Unfortunately disappointing. Sushi far too small for the price. The shop is very narrow and if there are two of you, you are only allowed to sit at two tables. Condition a bit inattentive. Kudos to the chef, the food was still very tasty.

Saw the foie gras roll and had to try it. Not very foie-y but the presentation was gorgeous, the tobiko and chive was excellent. The ramen was really bland, though the noodles were bouncy and thick; the egg was the best part. Amazing service!

Sehr eng und deswegen auch laut.. Hier hatte ich das erste mal in sehr vielen Jahren das erste mal ein essen das ich zurück gegeben habe.. Ohne Probleme habe ich ein anderes essen bekommen das sehr lecker war

Живем рядом с этим заведением и довольно часто заходим перекусить. Но есть большое НО Очень неубрано и неухоженно. Летняя площадка грязная(за за цветами не ухаживают, двор не подметают столы моют через раз, официанты не очень приветливы. Внутри как будто все в пыли мебель старенькая. Что тут хорошо так это еда. Вкусно почти все. Еда супер! Если есть администрация, просто наведите порядок и приберитесь пожалуйста. И буду продолжать ходить туда но только из-за повара и вкусной еды. А так после хотеться поскорее уйти, так как неуютно(((() очень жаль Респект повару и кухне и цены довольно демократичны.

Wer lecker Sushi essen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das war bisher das leckerste, was wir zu uns genommen haben. Das Ambiente ist sehr gut abgestimmt und gemütlich. Das Personal ist fix und sehr freundlich. Für die Speisen müsste man mehr als 5 Sterne geben können. Selbst meine Frau, die noch nie Sushi gegessen hat und dem immer sehr skeptisch gegenüber stand, war begeistert. Schade, daß man irgendwann satt war. Beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch kehren wir wieder ein und lassen es uns schmecken. Vielen Dank ans Personal und ein Lob an die Küche!

Wir waren vor ca. 1 Jahr schon einmal hier Sushi essen und waren ziemlich angetan. Heute waren wir erneut hier und leider diesmal das genaue Gegenteil... Das Sushi war deutlich kleiner, so klein hab ich es noch nirgends zuvor serviert bekommen. Dazu schmeckte der Fisch nicht gerade nach gehobener Qualität. Als wäre das nicht schon genug, wurde die Atmosphäre auch noch durch drei jugendliche Mädchen geprägt, welche zum Teil lautstark über ihr Handy auf Lautsprecher mit ihren Freunden telefonierten - schien die Inhaber nicht weiter zu stören. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen, scheinbar hat sich die Zubereitung des Sushis stark zum negativen entwickelt.

Essen ist sehr gut, geschmacklich fehlt aber der letzte Funken für 5 Sterne - Anrichtung der Speisen sehr gut, Ambiente des Lokals gut - lediglich Eingangsbereich etwas wenig einladend da man direkt auf mehrere gestapelte Gläser auf der Bar blickt. Service sehr nett, Kartenzahlung erst ab 20 Euro möglich und ab 16 Uhr 🙈 für Kinder gibt es leider keine Speisen, Hochstuhl war aber verfügbar. Anbindung mit U-Bahn top, U1 und dann zwei Minuten zu Fuß.

Sushi haben hier ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis. Essen gerne vor Ort, aber man kann auch gut mitnehmen.

Unser Essen sah sehr ansprechend aus und war wirklich lecker. Wir hatten das Glück draussen sitzen zu können. Der Service war durchschnittlich. Insgesamt werden wir wiederkommen.

Tolle Kreationen, leckeres und ausgefallenes Sushi. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber dennoch überfordert und nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Das sei aber bei den fairen Preisen für die Lage in Eppendorf verziehen. Wir haben schon häufiger einmal.was abgeholt und werden dem Service gern eine neue Chance geben, die Preise sind für geborenes wirklich unfassbar günstig, selbst die Drinks.

Die Bestellung kam sehr schnell an und war frisch. Geschmacklich war das Sushi ebenfalls super lecker und die Hauptspeise hat nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Preis Leistung ist in diesem Restaurant mehr als angemessen und im Vergleich sogar billig für die Qualität die man bekommt. Lediglich die Portionsgrößen könnten etwas größer sein beim Sushi. Ansonsten alles top und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen war hervorragend, man kann auch draußen sitzen und der Service ist gut. Kreditkartenzahlung wurde zu Beginn als nicht möglich behauptet, nach Hinweis beim Bezahlen auf fehlendes Bargeld ging es dann plötzlich ..;-0

Sehr schönes Restaurant😊 Sushi Bento 9 war sehr gut 👍 würde ich jederzeit wieder besuchen 🤗 es gibt noch viel zu probieren 😋
