Lindenhof Saalbetrieb in Emden

Complete catastrophe. Went to the Heinz Erhardt evening on October 4th and have never had such a terrible meal. Soup for vegetarians consisted of beef broth! ... The main course for non-vegetarians was supposed to have been goulash, but the smell, appearance, taste and consistency were more like dog food and for dessert there was supposed to be chocolate tart...but it was chocolate something sealed in foil... The whole thing for 80 euros per person. Service was overwhelmed

Very nice and friendly. They made extra space for us. Then we sat in the officers' mess to eat. The portions were very good and everything was very tasty. We ate matjes and harbor plates, as well as burgers and schnitzel.

We were there at 5:30 p.m. and still got a table. It's decorated in a very rustic style, which isn't necessarily my taste, but that's entirely individual. Service and food were very quick and good. We were greeted with a herring salad and homemade bread. And at the end there was a Frisian spirit, which was lit and served with a rhyme by the waiter. Thank you for that! Thumbs up for this restaurant, which is attached to a hotel.

I liked the “old” map, but the new one is amazing. Fresh bread, delicious salad, perfectly seasoned meat and a really reasonable portion awaited us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Price/performance is still very important here. An absolute extra win for Emden!
