A cozy restaurant by the harbor with a great view. Friendly, service-oriented staff. Delicious food and drinks.

We spontaneously decided to have lunch here and were not disappointed. Both the fish cake and the smoked pork with sauerkraut were top-notch and very tasty. The value for money is very good, and the service is excellent. We'd be happy to come back 😊

While spontaneously searching for a place to have dinner, we stumbled upon "Leckerpott" by chance. After studying the menu displayed outside and reading the reviews at the same time, we decided this place would be the place for our dinner. 😋 We received a very friendly welcome and were lucky to be able to get one of the few free tables. After we were seated, the menu quickly appeared. It's a fairly compact BUT☝🏻 regional menu; the ingredients used here are all locally sourced and fresh, which you can tell when you eat them. The price is still reasonable, I'd say, and worth every cent. I had a crab bisque as a starter, beautifully served in a mini saucepan, and you could add the crab yourself. I think that's great, so you can choose the amount of topping yourself or just nibble on the crab as it is. 😉😋 Then my companion and I had the East Frisian schnitzel as our main course. Everything was harmonious and delicious, and here, too, you could tell that everything was fresh. All in all, a successful dinner in a good location. The only criticism I have is that after the first drink, no one asked us anything further; we had to ask the waiter. But considering the fact that the restaurant filled up quite a bit over the course of the evening and the service was understaffed, you can overlook this. 😉 Thank you, dear Leckerpott team, for the delicious evening. We'll be back.

The whole-wheat pasta with Gorgonzola and spinach sauce was absolutely tasteless. It seemed to be mixed together without much care. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident.

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance during our vacation and decided to eat there. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was also very good and friendly. We highly recommend Leckerpott and would gladly return on our next visit to Emden.

Hello, We were able to enjoy our restaurant with 10 people on Saturday. Scheduling an appointment in advance went smoothly. We received a very friendly welcome and felt at home from the very beginning. The menu catered to a wide variety of tastes. Ordering food went smoothly, and questions about the dishes were answered promptly and courteously. Ordering and serving drinks went smoothly. The food was excellent. One person was "unlucky" with his fish; it had an excessive number of bones (if such a thing even exists). He didn't complain, but it would certainly have been addressed. Helpful in answering questions, and if you didn't know yourself, you simply asked the chef. Our conclusion: ... a very good, accommodating restaurant with delicious food and great service. WE, again and again! Our tip: ... more than an "insider tip" for Emden. Best wishes from the County of Bentheim

Wonderful staff and great food. We especially remember our waitress, Susi. She's like an angel. She personally approaches each guest and even takes elderly ladies who are no longer able to walk by the arm and escorts them to their table. She's also not averse to a chat. Susi is in the right job. A wonderful person. The food was a dream. This restaurant would be my regular if I lived here. Very, very tasty and clean. You can eat vegetarian, low-carb, pescetarian, and even vegan. Everything is marked on the menu. The dishes are all organic.

We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's extremely attentive and friendly service. The dishes on offer are typically East Frisian, making them just the thing for us tourists! The view of the harbor and the beautiful town hall rounded off our visit. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is truly fantastic. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. After seeing my dog, he asked if he could bring him some water—of course, he accepted it gratefully. Later, when the kitchen asked if he could have some bratwurst, and I had to say no, my dog was given delicious, fried, unseasoned chicken! I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant before; the water alone was very thoughtful! A cute little place... We just wanted a quick bite for lunch and opted for currywurst and fries from the daily special. The fries were homemade, and the portion was more than just a "bite." We were very satisfied with the ambiance, the food, and the service. The value for money was very good with our choice. The service staff were attentive and very friendly. This place is definitely worth remembering if you're taking a trip to Emden.

The fried fish at the restaurant was delicious. The fries were fantastic. They came with a salad, and the whole thing came to €9.90. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. Early Saturday evening, around 6:00 p.m./6:10 p.m., the three of us visited the restaurant without a reservation. The entire left part of the ground floor, where we were seated, was empty at that time. The waiter was friendly, came shortly after, and took our drink orders, which were brought very quickly. Then our food orders were taken. The restaurant gradually filled up, and after about an hour of waiting for our food, during which all the other guests in the left-hand seating area had already received their food orders, we asked what had happened to our food. The waiter resorted to statements like "...the kitchen is doing its best...". Strangely, the very dishes we had ordered had already been served several times at the neighboring tables. However, since we were the very first guests in this area, our orders should have reached us long ago. Our guess: the dishes were delivered to the wrong tables or simply not recorded in the system. We then just paid for our drinks and left, as we didn't want to wait any longer. It was a real shame, because we were actually looking forward to the food, which had already received so many good reviews. The waiter was also very friendly at first, until the moment of our complaint, when, instead of explaining the real reasons, he only offered excuses. He also forgot to mention at the beginning that there was an asparagus menu. Unfortunately, it wasn't at our table at the time. We only heard from subsequent guests that it was also offered. Also a shame, because that would have been very interesting for us too. Incidentally, he was running around alone in the service department, responsible for at least the left part of the restaurant on the ground floor (perhaps also the right part, we couldn't see that). In addition, he also had to help deliver the food on the first floor. Of course, that's just too much. Unfortunately, this address is off-limits for future visits from us. A real shame.

The food is average. I had hoped for more, as the young team is taking an interesting approach with organic products and regional suppliers. Unfortunately, this isn't well implemented in the preparation.

That was a sad evening. Birthday dinner planned for four. 7 p.m. the only guests. Still at 8 p.m. The place is brightly lit, no background music, no people. That put a damper on the mood. The waiter was friendly and tried hard, but also not very professional. Food and drinks were passed diagonally across the table, including the hot panfish pan. The food was so-so, it wouldn't have motivated me to write a review, it was just the whole thing. I just wish the restaurant had more guests and a better knack for the ambience.

Hello everyone, we had dinner there, two lamb sausages with a tomato dip 🤔 and with fries where the fries were scraped out like potato chips, I've never had anything like that, and hard, in a small pot 🤔 a small hand kule salad, and in my opinion, it was too expensive for 19.50 €, greetings Heinz PS passing guest, it's a shame, I won't spend any more money here.

Discovering this restaurant was a bit of a coincidence, but it was a real stroke of luck! The welcome and support were warm and attentive. The food was delicious and I was so full afterwards that I couldn't order dessert of my own. The waitress had a charming solution: the “love spoon”. This meant I was still able to try a bit of my friend’s dessert – a very sweet idea. The selection of drinks and food was also very extensive, so there is something for every taste. Drinks and food came quickly and the service was great. Gladly again!

We had the pan fish with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were partly dark and crispy, therefore bitter. And they seemed to be bathing in fat. Unfortunately without everything, spices and bacon were missing. The waitress was so nice and brought us new ones, but they were also bland. The fish was dry. As for the side dish, the salad with sauce wasn't bad. But if the side dish is better than the main course, then something is wrong.

A week in Emden and just discovered this pearl today. Roast lamb The top class, staff fits in every star restaurant or not because it's a shame. Thank you for 2 hours of warmth and great food.☺️

Das Backfisch Brötchen war richtig schlecht. Die Panade war dunkel Braun und schmeckte schon bitter. Der Fisch an sich schmeckt nach nix und das Brötchen war hart. Es ist schade um das Geld.

Complete catastrophe. Went to the Heinz Erhardt evening on October 4th and have never had such a terrible meal. Soup for vegetarians consisted of beef broth! ... The main course for non-vegetarians was supposed to have been goulash, but the smell, appearance, taste and consistency were more like dog food and for dessert there was supposed to be chocolate tart...but it was chocolate something sealed in foil... The whole thing for 80 euros per person. Service was overwhelmed

Most of the food comes from our own farm and is always prepared very tasty.

Das servierte Essen (Panfisch) war das Schlechteste, was mir je vorgesetzt wurde. Getrocknete Bratkartoffeln (vermutlich länger im Backofen warm gehalten, denn heiß waren sie nicht) in einer puddingartigen geschmacklosen Sauce liegend und ein paar lauwarme und labberige Fischstücken darauf. Dazu waren die Servicekräfte pampig und offensichtlich mit dem nur wenig gefüllten Restaurant überfordert. Wir gingen dann vorzeitig, nachdem die Servicekräfte es nicht geschafft haben trotz mehrfacher Bitte ein Bier zu servieren, mit der Bemerkung, andere Gäste hätten auch Wünsche. Wir haben sie dann den anderen Gästen überlassen und sind anders Essen gegangen und hatten dann tatsächlich einen guten Abend. Lecker Pott? Nein!

We were disappointed with the food. My wife had a thin and tasteless crab soup. I had a relatively cute portion of dry pan fish with fried potatoes without bacon and onions.

Service unfortunately chaotic... drinks only after almost 1.5 hours. Food OK

We went there for dinner with our children as part of a day trip. Our dog was immediately brought water and even a small wiener sausage. We ate Fiachbrötchen and the children shared a currywurst with fries. It was all very tasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We would always come back.

Huge currywurst I was expecting a bratwurst, but received a fried boiled sausage. There really wasn't anything that could be saved. A sweet sauce for the boiled sausage flavor with not enough curry powder, no thanks!

Spartan furnishings, very friendly and the food is good

Auf der Suche nach einem Lokal, das paniertes Schnitzel anbietet, sind wir auf dieses gestoßen. Das Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr gut. Der Fisch war leider zu wenig gewürzt und der Matjes hatte zu viele Gräten. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das Lokal war sehr sauber (auch auf den Toiletten). Im großen und ganzen würden wir wieder kommen.

Very pleasant stay. The restaurant is a project with an integrative focus (Agilio). It has existed for 5 years. The food is super tasty (but you have to season some of it yourself; the warm lentil salad was hardly seasoned; but the soup was ok) and the service was incredibly friendly! We really enjoyed being guests here! Absolute recommendation and PLEASE MORE RESTAURANTS LIKE THIS!!!!! 😊🫶❤️

The Leckerpott food truck doesn't live up to its name. Today we got currywurst with a warmed ketchup sauce. Fries still half raw, and for 4€. Never again.

Everything tasted very good, unfortunately we couldn't try the crab soup and the East Frisian dark beer because they were out. Everything is organically produced and it is an inclusion business.

Wir beide aßen Pannfisch (je 23,50 €). Man schmeckte heraus, dass er in heißem Öl (evtl. zusammen mit anderen Lebensmitteln?) zubereitet wurde. Das Geschmacksempfinden war deshalb etwas diffus.

I had the opportunity to try an East Frisian-style schnitzel at the Leckerpott, which according to the descriptions was supposed to be of high quality. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The food was extremely tasteless and had absolutely no pizzazz. Despite the advertising of regional products, the schnitzel looked suspiciously like a frozen product. In addition, the food was served very quickly, which gave the impression that it was not freshly prepared. I cannot understand the positive reviews from other visitors. The schnitzels looked good, but that was about the only thing. The so-called fried potatoes were not real fried potatoes: they were missing onions and bacon and were just halved potatoes. The salads also tasted very bland and it was incomprehensible why two salads were served - a side salad and another salad on the plate. For the price of 19.50 euros, I expect high quality, but that was absolutely not the case here. In addition, the cleanliness in the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The floor of the neighboring table was very dirty with crumbs, and our table wasn't clean either. The toilets were a disaster and desperately need a thorough cleaning. Despite these negative experiences, I see great potential in the treat pot. With better use of local produce, more authentic preparation and improved cleanliness, the restaurant could improve significantly in quality.

North German dishes tasted good, the quantity was ok to fill you up, the price was ok

Delicious food at reasonable prices. And of course it's great that inclusion is practiced there. Everyone was super friendly and really tried hard. If we are in Emden again, we will definitely come back.

Were received very nicely. We ordered matjes with fried potatoes and a farmer's breakfast. Food came quickly. We had to collect cutlery from the neighboring table. The farmer's breakfast was good and sufficient. The herring was fresh, but the portion of fried potatoes was so small that it got lost among the side dishes. The waiter was informed. His reaction was, I'll tell the kitchen. That's it. There was no apology or any other reaction. Conclusion: We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

♿️ A really great shop in the heart of the city of Emden, right on the Delft. Super nice places with a view of the water or in the restaurant. The whole thing is completely barrier-free on two floors with an elevator. In addition, it is an inclusive company, which I think is very good. We've been there a lot now and you're always given an extremely warm welcome. You fill out the breakfast menu conveniently using a card that you can tick off, but you also get all the information you need. The products are mostly regional and you can tell that the jams they make top it all off. In terms of price, the whole thing is really cheap for 2P.

The 5 of us found the well-maintained restaurant via Google Map. We were warmly welcomed and served. We enjoyed the freshly prepared meal with a view of the Delft.
