Great location, lovingly decorated.

We had a delicious dinner that was hard to beat in terms of value for money. Since we were short on time, we ordered our food by phone in advance. It arrived hot and practically immediately. The atmosphere is charming and rustic. We'd love to come back in the summer.

Well, to be honest, the beer garden at the Lindener Turm really surprised me. As soon as I arrived, I immediately felt that relaxed summer feeling: trees, fairy lights, wooden tables, and that typical scent of freshly tapped beer and bratwurst in the air. I like places like this, where you can just arrive, sit down, and immediately unwind – that's exactly what the Lindener Turm achieves. What struck me immediately: The atmosphere there is super relaxed. No frills, no excessive fuss – just people looking for a cool drink and good company. The clientele is mixed, from students to retirees, everyone sits together, and that makes it particularly appealing to me. For beer, I naturally tried the light beer – nice and cold, freshly tapped, and just right for a warm evening. They also had something hearty from the grill, and to be honest, it was better than I expected. Not Michelin-starred cuisine, but solid, tasty, and generously portioned. What makes the place truly charming is the location. Up on Lindener Berg, with a view over Hanover, you'll often feel a gentle breeze. Especially at sunset, the place has a truly cozy, almost magical atmosphere. I could easily have sat there for hours. Perhaps one small negative: when it's really busy, it can take a while to get your beer. But the staff remains friendly, and I consider that more important than perfect efficiency. The bottom line for me is that the beer garden at Lindener Turm is one of those places where you pop in spontaneously and end up staying longer than planned. Rustic, welcoming, with a true Hanover flair. I'll definitely be back.

A quiet beer garden in the Linden Alps with a special charm. The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

A nice place, but the Strohschwein bratwurst is NOT a bratwurst, but a deep-fried sausage. It's dipped in the deep fryer for five minutes and served with a cracked, flaky skin. It tastes absolutely nothing! A real shame. A real shame.

This is a restaurant in the countryside in the heart of Hanover. Here you can enjoy small dishes that, in my opinion, are all lovingly prepared and sold at a reasonable price. We arrived a little before opening time, but were allowed to sit down and even offered a drink, which I found very accommodating. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Excellent value for money, nicely decorated. Friendly and attentive service. I ordered lentil dal, which was good, but could have used a bit more spice for me. Since it was rather "flat," I'm deducting one star.

The beer garden is beautifully situated, but you have to climb up the hill first. Unfortunately, the beer garden was blocked off by a private party, and we could only sit in the self-service beer garden. Unfortunately, the staff were a bit overwhelmed, not very friendly, and there was no food available. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Unfortunately, the steaks have declined somewhat in quality. Very stringy and tough. I had a bratwurst instead today. Well, it wasn't any better; it must have been on the grill for a while. The salad was great.

Nice seating in the beer garden at a height of about 90 meters. Total peace and quiet in the countryside, yet in the heart of the city (almost in the center). Reasonably priced. Self-service in the garden. My parents were the last guests here (about 50 years ago).

This beer garden is always beautiful. From the tower, you can enjoy a wonderful view into the distance while enjoying a cold or warm drink. The snacks and larger meals are also truly excellent in terms of quality and taste. The only thing I deducted is that I've never been able to pay by card.

We arrived at the beer garden as a large group without prior reservation and were treated very courteously. The food is freshly prepared and delicious, the drinks are cold, and the prices are reasonable. What more could you want? Everything was great, I have nothing to complain about!

I've only ever been here for private events, but now I've been booked for a wedding and was absolutely pleasantly surprised. The water tower exudes a very beautiful atmosphere. The buffet was very varied and high-quality. The service was professional and friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

Gladly again, an attractive beer garden at a historic site on the Lindener Berg. The staff, especially the owner, are very friendly. Both at events and during regular operations, attention is paid to creating a harmonious atmosphere and decorating with great attention to detail. Occasionally there are waiting times, but this is part of the character of a popular beer garden.

Very nice location with a nice beer garden. The prices are reasonable and the counter staff are friendly and quick. There's something for everyone to eat from home-style currywurst fries. Vegetarian versions can also be ordered. Starting this summer there will also be a small ice cream stand that invites you to linger.

Really a very nice beer garden with a nice atmosphere. The food is also very tasty. After a while someone answered the phone and just said rudely “yes, we are open, thank you” and hung up again. That's not possible, maybe someone should change jobs! We then decided not to go there anymore. This way you can ruin your guests and reviews...Last summer we were there twice and the employees were friendly.

The location is nice and cozy. However, some time ago I drank something there with 2 friends and received spoiled, sour wheat beer. When we asked, we were told that the barrel had already been open for a week. Selling something like that is a cheek and is negligent. Another guest, independent of us, also received a wheat beer like this. I then had severe stomach pain and indigestion.

We visited the location at Christmas and had reserved space for several people. The service at the table for both food and drink is very good. The staff is polite and courteous. Nice.. Can also give a plausible answer to questions asked at an angle, even the late hour makes no difference. The staff always excellent. Opening times are adapted to the location. Even though it is really beautiful here in summer and the view extends from the old mill to the Deister and Ith, my rating refers to the fantastic Christmas village that you can find here on the Advent weekends. A Christmas market like in a picture book with great handicrafts, delicious food and an unbeatable ambience. In other places you would still have to pay an entrance fee, but not here, and yet the prices are better than “downstairs” in the city. Absolute recommendation!

The small Christmas market at the Linden Tower is run with passion. The prices here are still okay and, in addition to food and drinks, you can also find selected handicrafts and no cheap stuff that no one needs anyway. There is even a restaurant in the tower and there is a small room in the upper area that can be used to sell handicrafts. There is enough seating and a fireplace and everything is decorated for Christmas. The toilets are not barrier-free and can only be reached via stairs. It's practical that you can also get here by bus. Just a few minutes walk from the stop. Just met this year and would love to come back next year!!

Visited the enchanting Christmas market at the Linden Tower again today for the 2nd Advent. We love this place as it is not so crowded and not so commercial. There are small huts in which various artists/craftsmen offer the objects they have created themselves. So objects made of cork, great pictures and postcards, knitted items, various art objects and many other nice gift ideas. Everything from culinary delights is also represented, from pizza🍕, dumplings, Kaiser Schmarrn and baked lard. The nice thing is the benches in the inner courtyard in front of the tower, where you can sit and relax with friends. No hustle and bustle like in the city center. There is a highlight for children here: they can prepare their own bread at a fire pit. If you want something warmer and cozier, you should go into the tower. Feedback only for the Christmas Village (2024): Lovingly implemented and without additional entry costs. A small stage invites you to join in, thematically appropriate “shops” and everything is very cozy. The mulled wine costs one star: 0.2 without “shot” costs €5 without deposit. Albeit of the best quality and quality. This answer and rating has been positively corrected because the operators put a lot of effort into answering it. There should be an extra star for that. The background is not clear to the customer on site. A price tag x€ including donation for... would in my opinion be a psychologically tangible fact.

Sad. Ambience is really nice, but that's about it. I know it's a beer garden after all, but why do the staff have to be so loud and shout throughout the restaurant? Food was well, meat was tough. The side dishes tasted good. We didn't have enough sauce, asked for more and a tiny little bowl came, and that too with gritted teeth. Apparently no card payment possible. It's not written anywhere and it wasn't said before. Unfortunately we will never come back.

We celebrated my 60th birthday on November 1st, 2024 with 37 people. From the first meeting to the end of the celebration everything went smoothly. Very good advice, very tasty food and very nice, friendly employees. We felt completely comfortable from start to finish and only heard positive reactions from our guests. Thank you again for everything - we'll see you again at the Christmas market.

Hello, I don't want to make a big fuss about it......so I'll get straight to the point. Salt the fries as always. (I have already mentioned this personally). The glasses have always been very dirty the last few times and I'm annoyed that I didn't take any photos of them. I either had lipstick on the edge, or mouth marks in general, and sometimes even leftover food stuck to the glass. It could happen... I thought. (The glasses were always replaced without any problems). Yesterday the glasses were unreasonable. The wheat glass was so milky that you couldn't see through it and in the second round, the glasses smelled extremely like cow dung. I don't want to talk about the toilets..... not that many things bother me, but cleanliness is my top priority. Personally, I don't think it's a bad thing to have to wait in line for a beer. It's kind of part of it here. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the points mentioned are increasing from time to time, which for me significantly reduces the quality. I hope that you don't take this criticism personally, but rather take it to heart and make a change. Because I would like to give more stars. Greetings Mike

It's always great here. A nice place to relax and linger. We have already experienced great celebrations here and also like to go to the Linden Tower for an after-work beer and a bratwurst. Very nice employees. The food tastes good. We really enjoy coming here.

Two-class society! Unfortunately there was only a very limited menu on the grounds that the kitchen capacity was needed for a private gathering. Either you manage to offer the specified dishes for all guests or you just have to close the beer garden to the non-VIP people. Why is it not possible to pay by card in this day and age?

Four of us attended the “Midsummer Night’s Dream 80s Pop&Wave” event. The beer garden is quite cozy, but the prices are a disgrace. 12€ entry just to sit in a beer garden and listen to music from DJs? The advertised flea market was also a joke with only one stand for records and CDs. Prices for food and drinks were also very high (5€ for a 0.33l Becks bottled beer!!!), plus you had to get everything yourself, which took forever because you had to queue for at least 30 minutes. When it was really full in the beer garden, it took even longer. Currywurst fries were ok, but not a highlight. We would have been happy if there had been something delicious from the grill at this event. We then left at 10:30 p.m. because all we could hear of the music was the bass, the dance floor was completely overcrowded and you couldn't get a foot on the ground. We will not be having this event again.

A beer garden with a nice ambience. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Baked potato with a very fatty type of mayonnaise cream and the salad with chicken breast on a skewer had shaped chicken without a skewer.

Unfortunately, waiting in line for drinks for up to 30 minutes when the beer garden is not even half full is the rule here. Staff seem to be overwhelmed when it comes to drawing money and calculating with cash (why no card payment is introduced, I understand whoever wants to). Were here several times and unfortunately it was like this every time. How is it supposed to be when everything is full?

An interesting place to stay. Clean and groomed. You have to see the tower from the inside. The sanitary facilities are clean. The price-performance ratio is okay.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the Linden Tower last Saturday and were very satisfied. The preparation and the initial consultation took place calmly, with plenty of time, and all of our wishes were taken into account. The email contact was smooth and the response time was quick. Short-term changes were accommodated. On the day of the festival itself, we were introduced to a nice team who were available all evening to cater to our wishes and concerns. The food was very tasty and a good solution was found for the leftovers. The possibility of seating the "older" guests outside and having the dance floor in the middle of the tower was ideal and further relaxed the company. Overall, we were very satisfied and would book the Lindener Turm again at any time for a large family celebration

My favorite beer garden (and I know almost all of them in Hanover) in a prominent location and adjacent to the observatory and the water retention basin. The “Lindener Turm” was built on the highest point of the “Lindener Berg”. The atmosphere and ambience are really great. If I'm cycling in this corner, I treat myself to a "stop stop". Drinks and food are available at reasonable prices. The menu doesn't reveal any surprises, just the "beer garden classics". I treat myself to two dark wheats and then get back on the bike. My tip: “be sure to get to know each other”!

We were there with the grandchild, there was just a flea species. You can easily go for a walk in the allotment colonies. The cemetery on Lindener Berg is very beautiful, especially when the scilla is in bloom.
