The small Christmas market at the Linden Tower is run with passion. The prices here are still reasonable and, in addition to food and drinks, you can also find selected handicrafts and no cheap stuff that no one needs anyway. There is even a restaurant in the tower and there is a small room in the upper area that can be used to sell handicrafts. There is enough seating and a fireplace and everything is decorated for Christmas. The toilets are not barrier-free and can only be reached via stairs. It's practical that you can also get here by bus. Just a few minutes walk from the stop. Just met this year and would love to come back next year!!

Visited the enchanting Christmas market at the Linden Tower again today for the 2nd Advent. We love this place as it is not so crowded and not so commercial. There are small huts in which various artists/craftsmen offer the objects they have created themselves. So objects made of cork, great pictures and postcards, knitted items, various art objects and many other nice gift ideas. Everything from culinary delights is also represented, from pizza🍕, dumplings, Kaiser Schmarrn and baked lard. The nice thing is the benches in the inner courtyard in front of the tower, where you can sit and relax with friends. No hustle and bustle like in the city center. There is a highlight for children here: they can prepare their own bread at a fire pit. If you want something warmer and cozier, you should go into the tower. Feedback only for the Christmas Village (2024): Lovingly implemented and without additional entry costs. A small stage invites you to join in, thematically appropriate “shops” and everything is very cozy. The mulled wine costs one star: 0.2 without “shot” costs €5 without deposit. Albeit of the best quality and quality. This answer and rating has been positively corrected because the operators put a lot of effort into answering it. There should be an extra star for that. The background is not clear to the customer on site. A price tag x€ including donation for... would in my opinion be a psychologically tangible fact.

We went to visit the Christmas village.

Sad. Ambience is really nice, but that's about it. I know it's a beer garden after all, but why do the staff have to be so loud and shout throughout the restaurant? Food was well, meat was tough. The side dishes tasted good. We didn't have enough sauce, asked for more and a tiny little bowl came, and that too with gritted teeth. Apparently no card payment possible. It's not written anywhere and it wasn't said before. Unfortunately we will never come back.

Like every year, carving pumpkins for Halloween was very good 🎃. A great event..Food, drink Very good..Very, very good and friendly staff..A perfect team.

We celebrated my 60th birthday on November 1st, 2024 with 37 people. From the first meeting to the end of the celebration everything went smoothly. Very good advice, very tasty food and very nice, friendly employees. We felt completely comfortable from start to finish and only heard positive reactions from our guests. Thank you again for everything - we'll see you again at the Christmas market.

Great destination for a trip with children too. 👍🏼 However, if you are in a hurry, you should reconsider your stay 😉

Hello, I don't want to make a big fuss about it......so I'll get straight to the point. Salt the fries as always. (I have already mentioned this personally). The glasses have always been very dirty the last few times and I'm annoyed that I didn't take any photos of them. I either had lipstick on the edge, or mouth marks in general, and sometimes even leftover food stuck to the glass. It could happen... I thought. (The glasses were always replaced without any problems). Yesterday the glasses were unreasonable. The wheat glass was so milky that you couldn't see through it and in the second round, the glasses smelled extremely like cow dung. I don't want to talk about the toilets..... not that many things bother me, but cleanliness is my top priority. Personally, I don't think it's a bad thing to have to wait in line for a beer. It's kind of part of it here. Unfortunately, I have the feeling that the points mentioned are increasing from time to time, which for me significantly reduces the quality. I hope that you don't take this criticism personally, but rather take it to heart and make a change. Because I would like to give more stars. Greetings Mike

It's always great here. A nice place to relax and linger. We have already experienced great celebrations here and also like to go to the Linden Tower for an after-work beer and a bratwurst. Very nice employees. The food tastes good. We really enjoy coming here.

Two-class society! Unfortunately there was only a very limited menu on the grounds that the kitchen capacity was needed for a private gathering. Either you manage to offer the specified dishes for all guests or you just have to close the beer garden to the non-VIP people. Why is it not possible to pay by card in this day and age?

Most beautiful beer garden in Linden. Food good, drinks anyway, prices are reasonable. One drawback is the waiting times at the order counter. As soon as it gets a bit busier you stand there for a bit too long. But otherwise very nice.

Very nice, delicious ribs and sweet potato fries. Holzfalkersteak also super tender. Nice host explained his events to us. I'll be happy to come back

Four of us attended the “Midsummer Night’s Dream 80s Pop&Wave” event. The beer garden is quite cozy, but the prices are a disgrace. 12€ entry just to sit in a beer garden and listen to music from DJs? The advertised flea market was also a joke with only one stand for records and CDs. Prices for food and drinks were also very high (5€ for a 0.33l Becks bottled beer!!!), plus you had to get everything yourself, which took forever because you had to queue for at least 30 minutes. When it was really full in the beer garden, it took even longer. Currywurst fries were ok, but not a highlight. We would have been happy if there had been something delicious from the grill at this event. We then left at 10:30 p.m. because all we could hear of the music was the bass, the dance floor was completely overcrowded and you couldn't get a foot on the ground. We will not be having this event again.

A beer garden with a nice ambience. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Baked potato with a very fatty type of mayonnaise cream and the salad with chicken breast on a skewer had shaped chicken without a skewer.

The service staff is super friendly and the food is good too.

Unfortunately, waiting in line for drinks for up to 30 minutes when the beer garden is not even half full is the rule here. Staff seem to be overwhelmed when it comes to drawing money and calculating with cash (why no card payment is introduced, I understand whoever wants to). Were here several times and unfortunately it was like this every time. How is it supposed to be when everything is full?

Nice restaurant, something different inside with the style of the tower. If the weather is right you can also sit outside. We had a currywurst that tasted very good. Keep it up.

Great Biergarten! Slightly hidden and therefore a bit less crowded than other beergardens.

An interesting place to stay. Clean and groomed. You have to see the tower from the inside. The sanitary facilities are clean. The price-performance ratio is okay.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the Linden Tower last Saturday and were very satisfied. The preparation and the initial consultation took place calmly, with plenty of time, and all of our wishes were taken into account. The email contact was smooth and the response time was quick. Short-term changes were accommodated. On the day of the festival itself, we were introduced to a nice team who were available all evening to cater to our wishes and concerns. The food was very tasty and a good solution was found for the leftovers. The possibility of seating the "older" guests outside and having the dance floor in the middle of the tower was ideal and further relaxed the company. Overall, we were very satisfied and would book the Lindener Turm again at any time for a large family celebration

Always happy, a beautiful beer garden in a historical place on the Lindener Berg. The staff, especially the owner, are very friendly. Whether at an event or in a beer garden, attention is paid to the right ambience and decorated with great attention to detail. Sometimes the queue is a bit annoying, but that's part of a real beer garden.

My favorite beer garden (and I know almost all of them in Hanover) in a prominent location and adjacent to the observatory and the water retention basin. The “Lindener Turm” was built on the highest point of the “Lindener Berg”. The atmosphere and ambience are really great. If I'm cycling in this corner, I treat myself to a "stop stop". Drinks and food are available at reasonable prices. The menu doesn't reveal any surprises, just the "beer garden classics". I treat myself to two dark wheats and then get back on the bike. My tip: “be sure to get to know each other”!

We were there with the grandchild, there was just a flea species. You can easily go for a walk in the allotment colonies. The cemetery on Lindener Berg is very beautiful, especially when the scilla is in bloom.

Lovely little place. Came when a flew market was on. It was great with nice people around. Food is homely and well priced.

A beautiful beer garden in summer and a great Christmas market in winter. It stands out from the crowd with its own charm. The Christmas market was very crowded and getting a mulled wine is a tedious process. But since people are all in the Christmas spirit, waiting in line is more than bearable. The location goes around the tower, where you can also eat comfortably downstairs. The Christmas stalls give the impression that they are always there. The whole ambience is appropriate and very pleasant. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, the prices are not exactly cheap. However, the mulled wine and the Lumumba taste good. They are a little economical when shot, but I personally think that's OK for the taste. Despite the hectic pace, the staff was very friendly towards us. I can definitely recommend the Christmas market and the beer garden in the summer too. Information about my recessions. All the information I write down here is a snapshot and completely subjective. When I visit a place a second time, my assessment may be completely different. If I find something that needs improvement and it has actually been implemented, I will of course also change my review. Sehr idyllisches uriges Lokal.. Gutes Essen. Nette Bedienung die auch auf Sonderwünsche eingeht. Preise sind angemessen.

Es ist immer wieder schön dort zu verweilen, einzukehren und zu genießen.

Wir waren sowohl im Sommer dort im Biergarten, als auch aktuell auf dem liebevoll gestalteten Weihnachtsmarkt. Wir wurden immer sehr nett begrüßt und auch sehr gut bewirtet. Auch die Kleinen kommen nicht zu kurz.

Schöner kleiner Weihnachtsmarkt. Die Bratwurst war leider kalt und für mich ohne Geschmack. Die Parkplätze überfüllt,aber das war wohl auch wegen die Fussball Spiel.

Super Ambiente. Top Service und super lecker Essen. Grünkohl mit Bregenwurst und Kassler. Kassler best ever..... Ebenso die Rouladen. Alles sehr zu empfehlen, gerade momentan, da Weihnachtsmarkt.

Ich bewerte hier den Weihnachtsmarkt am Lindenerberg/Turm. Es war wieder ein sehr gemütlicher Markt. Gut organisiert, dieses Jahr gab es sehr leckeren Apfelglühwein 😁der war der Hammer, ich hoffe den gib es nächstes Jahr wieder❣️Was mir jedes Jahr fehlt ist Schmalzkuchen, vielleicht kommt der ja nächstes Mal 🤩 25.11.23 heute waren wir da und haben leckeren Glühwein getrunken. Er war lieblicher ,was mir besser geschmeckt hat. Leider gab es kein Schmalzkuchen😢

Wir haben während einer Fahrrad Tour hier einen Stopp eingelegt. Es gibt Essen und Trinken, tolle Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder 😉.

Schöner, großer Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung und recht großer Auswahl an Speisen. Vorne Tische und Stühle, hinten Bierbänke.

Es ist gemütlich und ruhig gelegen. Möchte man etwas höher sitzen, gibt es vom Turm aus einen Balkon. Ich habe nur etwas getrunken. Getränke bekommt man nur zur Selbstbedienung.

Eigentlich ein schöner Ort, wir waren dort nur etwas trinken Allerdings hat die Bedienung uns an dem Abend mehrfach das Gefühl gegeben, als Gast nur zu stören. Fragt man höflich, welche Früchte in der Altbierbowle sind, bekommt man eine unfreundliche Antwort. Das Münchner Spaten in einem dünnwandigen Glas serviert haben zu wollen - leider nicht möglich. Zum Abschied wird man zur Rede gestellt, weil die Gläser an der "falschen" Stelle abgestellt wurden, obwohl dort schon etliche Gläser standen und nicht zu erkennen war, dass diese dort "wild" hingestellt wurden. Natürlich bedeutet das für das Personal ärgerliche Mehrarbeit, aber der Gast kann hierfür nichts - und ein freundlicher Hinweis für's nächste Mal hätte völlig ausgereicht. Wie gesagt, es könnte eigentlich so nett und entspannt dort sein...

Sehr schöne Location, leider seit dem letzten Brand nicht mehr ganz so schattig. Getränkeangebot in Ordnung und preislich im Rahmen. Essenangebot etwas übersichtlich, es fehlen ansprechende Alternativen und Highlights wie z.B. Rippchen.

Im Turmbiergarten habe ich mit 50 Leuten meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Es gab ein Grillbüffet mit fünf Sorten Fleisch, drei Beilagen und sieben Salaten dazu noch ein Roastbeef und Nachtisch. Es ist unglaublich, was diese Küche leisten kann, das Essen war einsame Spitze. Dazu geht ein großes Lob an das Team um Herrn Bahmann, welches uns fürsorglich betreut und alle Wünsche erfüllt hat. Von den Gästen habe ich nur positive Rückmeldungen bekommen. Ein Riesenvorteil des Biergartens ist, dass man nahezu unabhängig vom Wetter ist, bei Regen feiert man einfach im Turm weiter. Nochmals vielen Dank an das ganze Team für die tolle Organisation!

Dieser Ort hat uns überrascht, weil er vielen unbekannt ist und man gar nicht verstehen kann, warum das so ist. Tolles Ambiente, absolut empfehlenswert. Und was ich positiv finde: Keine Musik im Außenbereich!

Immer wieder schön und zum wohlfühlen. Und das kalte Bier hat man sich verdient, wenn man mit dem Fahrrad nach oben fährt. Einfach ein sehr nettes Plätzchen und immer leckere und günstige Gerichte im Außenbereich...aber auch eine sehr gepflegte, leckere Küche mit tollen Speisen drinnen. Und immer wieder für Feiern gerne genommen. Herrlich wenn man die untergehende Sonne auf dem höchsten Plätzchen in der Stadt genießen kann

Ein sehr schöner Biergarten. Das Essen ist gut. Leider hat das Personal bei einzelnen Angestellten so seine Schwächen mit der Freundlichkeit. Zudem keine Kartenzahlung möglich, was echt nur noch nervt!

Mit meinem Bulgursalat war ich ganz zufrieden. Der Sommersalat mit Hähnchen (den ich nicht selber hatte) war keine Empfehlung: Das Dressing schmeckte nicht und das Hähnchenfleisch war von unangenehmer Konsistenz. Den Salat sehe ich als Ausrutscher und werde den Biergarten gerne wieder besuchen.

Wunderbare Atmosphäre und sehr gutes Essen. 10/10 would recommend.
