Lider Kokoreç Herne in Herne

Eine „Muss ich nicht noch mal haben-Erfahrung“: Große Pommes (nicht ganz durch) für 6€ , Döner Tasche mit sehr trockenem Brot, wenig Sauce und einer überschaubaren Größe. Not again!

Es schmeckt nicht mehr so gut wie gleich nach der Eröffnung, es war nicht voll bei vielen Gästen hätte ich das noch verstanden, aber es war unangenehm, dass ich zehnmal gefragt wurde, ob ich den Teller abräumen lassen möchte, noch bevor ich mein Essen aufgegessen hatte. Insgesamt hat es nicht mehr den alten Geschmack.

Ich habe noch nie so wenig Innereien im Brot gesehen, und das Fleisch war viel zu fettig. Wenn man schon so wenig Fleisch verwendet, sollte man wenigstens nicht so viel Fett dazugeben. Es ist die 9 Euro absolut nicht wert. Man sollte den Leuten diese Qualität nicht anbieten, nur weil sie keine andere Wahl haben.

Das Unternehmen hat den Besitzer gewechselt oder die Techniker wurden ausgetauscht, was die Qualität gesenkt hat.

Die Lammdärme (Kokoreç) sind für deutsche Verhältnisse (9 €) in Ordnung, und der hausgemachte Ayran (Joghurtgetränk) ist gut. Die kostenlosen Essiggurken werden Liebhaber von Essiggurken freuen. Die gefüllten Muscheln waren hingegen unterdurchschnittlich. Sie rochen sehr stark; nicht etwa verdorben, sondern so, dass einem der Appetit vergeht. Leider konnten wir nicht einmal die Hälfte des Tellers aufessen (10 gefüllte Muscheln für 10 €). Es wimmelte von Fliegen. Die Bedienung meinte, es läge an der Hitze, aber es ist doch überall in Deutschland heiß, warum gibt es dann nicht auch woanders Fliegen? Wir mussten während des gesamten Essens Fliegen von unseren Tellern jagen, was sehr unangenehm war. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war etwas schwach; ich würde das Restaurant nicht noch einmal wählen.

Wow, was für ein köstliches Erlebnis! Ich habe in dieser Region wirklich den besten Kokoreç gegessen, den ich je probiert habe 😋. Ein absolutes kulinarisches Highlight! Also ich war letztens dort und habe den mit Abstand Leckersten Tantuni Teller gegessen !! Davor war ich schonmal dort und habe mich dazu überreden lassen das erste mal Kokorec zu probieren und war Sehr überrascht was dies für ein leckeres Gericht ist ( bin sehr skeptisch eigentlich bei neuen Gerichten) . Sehr lecker und nur weiter zu empfehlen . Das Service-Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ! Der Laden an sich ist sehr sauber und das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre sind sehr Familiär , Gemütlich und entspannend . Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch bei „Lider Kokorec“ 🫶🏼

Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen, tantuni war mega lecker die Suppe auch . Sehr nettes Personal 👍. Empfehlenswert.

Die Lammdärme waren gut, hatten zwar nichts mit der Küche Izmirs zu tun, aber die Tatsache, dass es eine einfache Variante gab, war hervorragend. Das Lokal selbst war allerdings sehr heruntergekommen. Theoretisch mag es für Familien geeignet sein, aber ich würde es in der Praxis nicht empfehlen… die Musik war zum Beispiel sehr kitschig und geschmacklos. Fünf Sterne? Fünf Sterne für die Lammdärme. Über den Rest kann ich nichts sagen…

Ich habe bisher Kokoreç, Şırdan, Paça Suppe und Çiğer gegessen und vom Kumpel Dönerfleisch ausprobiert. Kokoreç ist echt gut, Şırdan ist 7 von 10, Paça und Ciğer sind die besten dich ich jeh in Deutschland gegessen habe. Dönerfleich ist überdurchschnittlich gut, aber es gibt einige wenige berühmte Läden in NRW wo ist besser ist. Service sehr nett, nur manchmal dauert Bestellung etwas lange aber ist noch im Rahmen. Im großen und ganzen ist der Laden zurzeit mein Favorite, und nehme gerne ca 25km Weg in Kauf. Vorallem für Paça und Ciğer.

Der Standort in Herne ist mit Abstand der beste und in jedem Fall viel viel besser als der in Dortmund. Allgemein ist es einer der besten Foodspots in der Gegend. Alles ist top. Super Service. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Alles sauber. Essen ist sehr lecker.

Lider Kokoreç in Herne ist mit Abstand das beste Lokal unter allen, in denen ich bisher Kokoreç gegessen habe. Der Şırdan ist sehr lecker, die Muscheln sind einfach hervorragend. Der Kokoreç selbst ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Das Lokal ist groß, sauber und sehr angenehm. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ab jetzt meine erste Adresse.

Leider eine totale Enttäuschung! Es war wie in einem türkischen Lammdarm-Restaurant. Der Lammdarm war roh und kalt. Ich habe 50 Minuten umsonst gefahren.

Ich bestellte eine Pilzpizza, sie enthielt aber Champignons. Auf der Preistafel stand 8,50 Euro, obwohl man mir an der Kasse 10 Euro berechnen wollte. Die Pizza war sehr lecker.

Also, Freunde, was soll das für ein Preis von 9 € für ein halbes Brot mit Lamminnereien? Das ist doch nur Innereien, man kriegt nicht mal zwei Bissen aus dem Brot, und die werden nicht mal frisch geschnitten und ins Brot gelegt. Kurz gesagt, diese Lamminnereien sind höchstens 5 € wert, alles darüber hinaus ist Abzocke.

Ich habe Kokoreç nach Izmir-Art bestellt, und der Koch fragte mich, wie ich es gerne hätte. 😂 Ich musste es ihm zwei- oder dreimal erklären. Als jemand aus Izmir muss ich sagen: Es war das schlechteste Kokoreç, das ich je gegessen habe. Es war so lange gekocht, dass es knusprig war – wie Kokoreç zwischen zwei Toastscheiben. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Auf der Karte stand 8,50 €, aber an der Kasse wurden mir 10 € berechnet. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ich finde es ziemlich gut, das beste Mumbar und Kokorec, das ich in Deutschland gegessen habe.

Tantuni war Okay, Leber war hart also übergegrillt und ranzig, Kokorec Teller war fettig und komische Geschmack , Künefe war gebrannt und die Käse nicht lecker. Ich bin da nach eine Empfehlung eines Kollegen aber bin enttäuscht

Im Internet steht dass es geöffnet hat wir sind extra anderthalb Stunden gefahren um festzustellen das es geschlossen hat. Ich würde sogar Sternen Abzug geben Wieso schreibt man im Internet dass man geöffnet hat wenn man es nicht einhalten kann. Ich finde es wirklich schrecklich

Hast du Lust auf echt gute Kokorec? Dann sollte die Fahrt nach Herne Crange dich nicht davon abhalten. Für mich der beste Izmir Kokorec weit und breit, außerhalb Izmirs, nein der Türkei. Ich fahre immer wieder gerne mit meiner Familie dorthin, Um echt gute Kokorec, Midye Dolma, Mumbar zu essen. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen der so etwas mag👍🏼.

Die Kutteln und Muscheln waren geschmacklos und auch nicht frisch. Das Essen kam innerhalb von fünf Minuten, die Rechnung ließ aber eine halbe Stunde auf sich warten. Es war eine enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Das Kokoreç war gut, aber eine halbe Portion reichte nicht, um satt zu werden. Als wir dort waren, gab es kein Şırdan (eine Art Innereiengericht). Das Mumbar (gefüllte Därme), das ich in der Türkei gegessen habe, war dünn und sehr scharf, und es hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Mumbar im Lider Kokoreç war sehr dick und nicht besonders scharf; es war essbar, aber nicht besonders lecker. Das Personal war mürrisch und überhaupt nicht freundlich. Ich werde dort hingehen, wenn ich Lust auf Kokoreç habe.

Es gab viele negative Bewertungen, und ich war deshalb voreingenommen. Aber es hat köstlich geschmeckt. Ich wünsche Ihnen viel Erfolg. Ich finde, wir sollten menschliche Leistung nicht so geringschätzen.

Ich habe Kokoreç und Sirdan probiert; Sirdan hat mir nicht besonders gut geschmeckt, aber Kokoreç war lecker und die Preise waren angemessen. Viel Erfolg!

Absolut zu empfehlen von Kokorec bis Pansensuppe und Köfte Brot - Tantuni auch Top - Mein neuer Lieblingsladen. Waren heute zu viert das erste mal hier.

Wir waren am 11.10.25 zu Besuch bei Freunden in Gelsenkirchen. Wir wurden dorthin eingeladen, weil wir gerne nochmal Kokoreç essen wollten. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns dort richtig wohlgefühlt und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Macht weiter so👍🏼

Wir waren am Wochenende Freunde besuchen in Gelsenkirchen. Wir wurden dorthin eingeladen. Da wir nach langer Zeit,mal wieder kokorec essen wollten. Wir haben das Dönerfleisch gekostet,kokorec und Mumbar gegessen. Es war alles sehr gut. Der Chef und die Angestellten waren sehr nett. Wenn ich dort mal wieder sein sollte,dann werde ich den Schaf Kopf probieren und die Suppe. Jeder der etwas auszusetzen hat,sollte mal nach Sachsen Anhalt kommen. Dann merkt ihr erst,was ihr habt. Ein köstliches Gericht, das ich in Deutschland vermisst habe. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, es zu probieren, es war lecker und das Lokal war auch nicht schlecht.

Wir waren gestern zu 3 dort essen und es war sehr lecker, die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und vorallem der hausgemachte ayran war sehr lecker. Der Adana Teller war für den Preis sehr gefüllt und man wurde 2 mal satt.

Nicht empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist alt, kalt und riecht schlecht – Sie wurden gewarnt.

Der beste Döner Kebab der Gegend... und dazu noch Geschmacksrichtungen und Variationen, die man sonst nirgends findet. Von Muscheln und Kutteln über Fischbrötchen bis hin zu Sirdan (einer Art Innereiengericht). Das freundliche Personal ist ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt.

I relied on the 4.9 stars and drove there from Lünen, which I could have saved myself. We ordered Tantuni, which was the thinnest portion I've eaten in my 40 years. It was almost as thick as a sıgara böreği... so for €5, they could have put less meat in it.... Furthermore, our kokoreç was inedible (dried meat). And the spice mix that came with it was also zero stars. We still wanted to leave the place with a positive experience and ordered kunefe, which confirmed our negative opinion that we'll never go back. Save yourself the trip there!!!!!

Absolutely not recommended – zero stars! We ordered kofte-ekmek twice, and both times the kofte was 80-90% raw. The employee poked his fingers into the food and promised a replacement – the second sandwich was even rawer. The chef then claimed it was "just" the seasoning, even though the meat was obviously raw. We had to pay the full bill despite the inedible food. Plus: a dirty shop, dirty and unfinished tables. Never again!

We were told it was a yaprak döner, but it wasn't. The döner was okay, but not wow.

We walked into the shop and wanted to order, but were greeted very rudely. The stares from the man behind the counter were almost annoying. Well, that's just one thing, and the food was definitely not fresh, and we couldn't even eat properly.

Unfortunately, the staff was very, very unfriendly. The food was not tasty at all. The menu was printed incorrectly, so I got the wrong dish. The cups were dirty, the toilet was unacceptable. And the bill was never wrong either. So, I really paid for nothing. Oh, the lady noticed that because we came as a family, she couldn't have just put a few chairs together, so we had to do it. So never again!

This is the place to go for those who miss Turkish street food. Sirdan, kokorec, mumbar. They're fantastic. I also recommend their pizza and pide.

The sizes of the sherbets were very small and expensive. The atmosphere was scary. The people in front of the shop were staring at our car. Frankly, it was disturbing. In terms of service, each employee was different from each other between sincerity and wildness. I would prefer to find better places. I won't come again.

Kokoreç is very small in portion. The price has increased in Mumbar and the portion has become quite small. Communication is good. The environment is nice. You can easily go with your family. Clean environment. The open ayran option is good, for example.

We used to eat the leader kokorec for years but it had spoiled its taste, the kokorec was tasteless, the döner vine leaves were tasteless and unsalted, and there was a piece of porcelain in the bread. You also need to keep the toilet clean, it was very dirty. I guess we won't go there again.

Not recommended. It was advertised that the kebab would be sold for €4 for a certain period of time. When I wanted to get a kebab there, two days before the end of the campaign, I was told that the campaign was already over... The kebab tasted quite good, but I was still taken for a ride...

I haven't been here for a long time, but it hasn't gotten any worse, it's better. I was there regularly in the early days and really missed it. It's just good and delicious. The choice has increased. I don't like it when the selection is so big because you don't know what to get😁 I am and remain enthusiastic and will continue to be a big fan.

Service and environment could be better

The kebab was almost cold but the whole plate was simply bland. The soup was good. Kokorec OK. Toilets not clean!! At the checkout they wanted €30.50. Upon request I received a voucher for €29, a bit strange!!?? Card payment is currently not possible and a receipt can only be requested. Is this all correct?

Disappointing and overpriced - more appearance than reality I had high expectations for Lider Kokoreç, but unfortunately I was seriously disappointed. I think the people who prepare the liver haven't eaten fried liver in their lives. The concept sounds interesting, but the implementation leaves a lot to be desired. 1. Very bad taste – I tried “Ciğer, Şırdan, Kokoreç” and to be honest it didn’t convince me. The ingredients didn't seem harmonious and the meat was dry. In addition, the sauce was either far too dominant or not there at all. 2. Portions too small, prices too high, much smaller than a normal snack bar, you pay almost twice as much here. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. 3. Atmosphere cold and uncomfortable - The store doesn't really feel inviting. In addition, the staff was rather unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I had a question about the ingredients.

There was no problem in terms of taste. However, we ordered bread rolls and the portions were very small compared to the menu prices. I say according to menu prices because; We only wanted the kokorec to be coarsely chopped and well cooked. Afterwards, when we paid the bill, they charged us 10 Euros even though the bread was 8 Euros just because we asked for coarsely chopped bread. I think this is a great shame.

Kokorec was tasty in itself, but the spices were missing and the thyme was too much. The mussels were a disappointment, you literally had to scrape the mussels from the shell and they were also very lean. We took a lamb's head with us on the first day and it was tasty too. I took it out of the fridge on the second day and it smelled and tasted so rotten that unfortunately everything had to go in the trash. We also traveled an extra 50km. Very unfortunate.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on November 24th, 2024 and had high hopes based on the reviews. Unfortunately my visit was not satisfactory: • The food didn't arrive for over 45 minutes even though the restaurant wasn't full. • The [dish] was unfortunately cold and disappointing in taste - it lacked spice and freshness. • The service was polite, but seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive (e.g. no water was poured). I had the impression that the team was understaffed, which may explain the problems. However, I would like to see both the quality of the food and the service improved. It's a shame that my visit didn't live up to my expectations. Maybe there will be an improvement in the future, then I would try it again.

Şırdan and Mumbar were very nice 10/10 the staff were very friendly

I ate mumbar and it didn't taste good at all and was just soggy and for the portion they charge €14 with a drink I was €16 and paid €20 I just got my change back in 10 and 20 cent pieces, disgusting, never again

Friendly and nice service, and very quick. We ordered kokoreç in bread. The portion was extremely small but very tasty! Since we were still hungry, we then ordered tantuni in bread. The taste was okay, but I personally didn't like it. Finally there was künefe and tea – the tea is free and self-service, which is great! Overall I give it 3 stars. It would really make sense to adjust the portion sizes or reconsider the prices. For €7.50 I can get a full kebab elsewhere with plenty of sauces!

Today we came here to sit and eat kokorec and tantuni. We walked through the bazaar just to get here. We ordered a kokorec and a tantuni and said we would take a tantuni as well, but we asked for it to be prepared before leaving so that it would not get cold. Since a lady was rolling out the dough in front of the door, we thought the tantuni was rolling out the dough by hand. When the tantuni that arrived was ready for lavash and we liked the kokoreç very much, we decided to cancel the second tantuni, take the tantuni home and buy another kokoreç instead. Before we could even order the second kokoreçi, the staff started shouting when they saw the tantuni we sent back to be packaged. “Do I have to take back the bitten tantuni? If you're not going to eat it, why are you ordering two at once? He started shouting, "If you had tasted it first, you should have bought the second one later." Unfortunately, we were sitting inside at that moment and we overheard all these sentences, which was in a tone of voice that we could hear even if we were outside. It wasn't a pleasant situation at all. Being defensive when we showed our reaction made the situation even more repulsive, so we did not order the second kokoreç even though we liked it, and we quickly left. It is not a suitable place for those who want to eat something in peace with their family.

Compared to other Lider Kokoreç branches, I can say that this is the restaurant that sells the cleanest and most delicious Kokoreç and syrup. Kokoreç, şerdan, mumbar are my favorites. After we pointed this out to the waitress, we were told that she couldn't do anything about it and were skillfully ignored. They don't even deserve 1 star, we came from a long distance, it was a total disappointment. We went there as 3 people. We ate 1 portion of mussels, 1 portion of mumbar, and 1 portion of head. We paid 100 Euros with 3 drinks. Lemons were old. The food was dry and tasteless. I definitely do not recommend it.

My Tantuni was made warm from a Tupperware container, it doesn't taste good and it doesn't fill you up either. Kokorec was also not freshly cut, the taste was not great and the portion size was very small.
