Highly recommended restaurant! Delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to linger. My new go-to spot, whether just for a cup of coffee or when I'm feeling peckish. I love to treat myself here.

We wanted to treat ourselves to a coffee and cake at a cafe. However, we were fobbed off with a Nescaffe or Jacobs instant latte macchiato, but they didn't serve cake and only occasionally served apple pancakes. Outside, guests were sitting at wet tables that weren't dry. The waitress was friendly, but unfortunately, she lied to us, saying the latte was fresh from the machine, which she explained with a slightly embarrassed smile. Unfortunately, not recommended!

A small restaurant with reasonably friendly staff. The vegetables were unfortunately cooked a bit too long, but otherwise very tasty. However, the staff seemed less interested in the customers, more focused on their phones behind the counter, which meant that you sometimes had to wait longer to order new drinks. The price is reasonable, though, as it's a rather affordable place, a place that primarily caters to the older generation.

We were here for breakfast. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The decor was a bit dated. The service was very friendly!

We waited a long time for the orders on Mother's Day, which wasn't a problem at first, but two dishes were completely forgotten and when they finally came, Schwager's grill plate was completely raw on the inside. And we were a relatively large group and always had to wait a long time for drinks. And absolutely not child-friendly

We love this little place, which we call Flintstones. It's welcoming and every time we go we feel at home. The girls are really nice and fast. The food is delicious and the prices are also unbeatable. The Shortino offered by the house is the best. We go often and will continue to go. Too bad it's not open for dinner

The food here is quite good, but for me, it's too greasy and mayonnaise-filled. I don't have much choice since I don't eat fish or meat. But the staff are very friendly and helpful. My favorite is the latte macchiato. It's super delicious. Everything is clean, without question.

Unfortunately not as good as it was years ago. We both didn't get properly cooked meat. Service also leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame it was always delicious up until then.

Unfortunately the service has deteriorated. Unfortunately, on the last 3 visits, I found a fly in the ointment (literally, there was a fly in my food). Forgot a reservation Some of the starter salads were forgotten/small things were forgotten when ordering We had to ask for drinks several times after the ladies kept forgetting about us. But the food is otherwise very tasty and the price is right too.

People like to eat and drink there... the prices are very reasonable... the staff is very nice and helpful... they also like to sit outside when the weather is nice...

Very nice CAFE and restaurant. You can have a very good 👍 breakfast there. We then continue with the menu with good traditional dishes. The staff is very nice and attentive. You feel very comfortable.

Our reserved (!) Christmas dinner was sold out! Likewise with the other dishes: There were no more schnitzels etc. The same thing happened to friends here last year. Our family Christmas dinner with you was an absolute failure! Very disappointing the lack of organization!

Unfortunately, it has happened several times during the holidays that pre-ordered menus were no longer there! Simply given out to other spontaneous customers, even though you had reserved a Christmas dinner for the family! Something like that doesn't work! Everyone had to eat fillet because the other dishes like schnitzel, chicken, etc. were also out! Impossible, such wrong planning! And this has been going on for at least 3 years in a row... You can no longer talk about "unexpectedly high crowds"!

Went there for dinner yesterday after going to the cinema. My wife had a rump steak and I had the pollack fillet. To be honest, the food was really good, the service was very nice, and you don't even need to talk about the price/performance ratio. Absolutely recommended, especially since the restaurant/café is also very nicely decorated. Thank you very much, we'll see you again soon ;-)

Auf der Tageskarte findet man aussergewöhnlches. Schon mal Pannas gegessen. Im Lokal. Noch nie gefunden. Aber super lecker. Ich war überrascht und habe es genossen. Der Preis war auch akzeptabel. Dazu noch gute Bedienung und ansprechendes Ambiente. Was will man mehr. Nur zu empfehlen.

Gemütliches Restaurant in der Innenstadt von Herne, gegenüber vom City Center, am Anfang der Fußgängerzone, wenn man vom Museum aus kommt. Das Inhaberpärchen ist sehr nett, sehr freundlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier 👌Hier gibt es Frühstück und auch Mittagessen für einen guten Preis. Es gibt Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und auch draußen.

Bei schönstem Sommerwetter draußen gesessen und lecker gegessen. Ein netter Inhaber und ein nettes Personal, dazu noch gute und günstige Speisen. Hier kann man gut Frühstücken und zu Mittag essen, sowie auch ansonsten eine kleine Rast einlegen. Präsikat "Empfehlenswert".

Preis- Leistung top. Wir hatten Schnitzel und Steak. Alles lecker. Mitarbeiter fragen leider nicht oft nach, ob man noch was trinken möchte, sind aber sonst sehr nett und schnell. Leider gibt es keine große Auswahl an anderen Gerichten und keine Nachspeisen.

Wie waren auf der Durchreise durch Herne und zum ersten Mal im Mont Cenis. Das Wetter war gut und wir haben draußen gesessen. Von außen sieht das Cafe eher unscheinbar aus, aber der Service, das Essen und der faire Preis haben uns total überzeugt! Wirklich alle Speisen waren hochwertig und toll gekocht. So ein Geschmackserlebnis hatten wir bei den günstigen Preisen wirklich nicht erwartet! Auch der Service ist nett und flott. Wenn wir nochmal nach Herne kommen, dann wieder ins Mont Cenis! ❤️

Das beste Essen in Herne für einen kleinen Preis. Die Inhaber immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend, desweitern sehr Kinderlieb. Hunde sind auch immer herzlich willkommen.

Leider gibt es zum Frühstück kein Orangensaft und kein gekochtes Ei mehr.
