The service is rather slow and not very friendly. The prices are high. The menu sounds good. The organic duck was thinly sliced, a bit bland in taste. The vegetables were very soft, black and burnt at the bottom. The rice portion was way too much and almost cold. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant...there are much better ones.

We are simply thrilled with this wonderful restaurant. The dishes were freshly prepared with delicious spices and vegetables. The duck was perfect. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant.

Lemongrass is a very good choice if you happen to be in the Ludwigsburg/ Schwieberdingen area and if you've had enough of the Chinese or Italian food places that are ubiquitous all over Germany. It's a cozy place, the menu isn't all too packed with different dishes, which in my book is always a good sign. I had the duck and it was fabulous.

Dreimal dort gewesen - dreimal die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht: Der Wirt ist cholerisch und extrem unfreundlich, sowohl zu Gästen als auch zum Personal. Vor allem, wenn man etwas bestellt, worauf man Appetit hat und das nicht der Empfehlung des Wirts entspricht. Uns wurden die Teller auf den Tisch "geknallt" und während wir aßen, wurde uns die Rechnung serviert. Die Energie ist entsprechend angespannt und man fühlt sich als Gast unwohl. Egal, wie gut die Küche ist, das Benehmen des Chefs ist ein K.O.-Kriterium.

No way we go there again!!!!! We were at this restaurant last year but we're to busy with settling in Germany to write the references. But it's something to tell for sure: EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT SERVICE. The waiter who is wearing the HAT, was SO RUDE. Seems like he really dislikes his job. Unbelievable was that the friend of ours recommended this place as the very delicious Asian food. And no, the food was also very much disappointing. And we just moved to Germany from Asia. So, I would never recommend this place to anyone and will never enter it as well.

The food is incredibly good and comes so beautifully presented. However, the table quickly becomes very full. So it's rather tight. The service is attentive and always there for you. Sometimes a little too fast - so that it almost seems hectic. But how wonderfully lovable everyone is!

We arrived at 9:30 p.m. The restaurant looks very nice and it was very busy. The dishes looked wonderful and smelled delicious too. The Food: Excellent Asian-Vietnam food! The motto "Food has to look good, food has to taste good, food is medicine!" you come into your own here. The spices make the difference from other restaurants, let alone fast food suppliers... The ambience: Cozy is pretty good. The space in the restaurant is well used... Very atmospherically decorated, with lots of bonsais, which I personally like very much. In summer you can also eat outside in a small "beer garden". The service: The service is very nice, sometimes unconventional, but funny :) The boss likes to give food recommendations, which I'm happy to accept. He also advises on spices. In terms of price, the food is quite upscale, but definitely worth the price!!

This restaurant is very difficult to rate because in my opinion there are two faces there. In addition, it is difficult for me to fully believe all the 5 star reviews because my 2 visits there looked a little different. 🤔 I am very satisfied with the food because it is freshly cooked and uses lots of delicious spices and ingredients. Only the behavior of the staff seems to take some getting used to. The waiter is extremely hectic, even though there was no need for it at 1:45 p.m. on a Sunday. Statements like “just let me do my job” after you asked about the outstanding rice are simply not appropriate. I also wonder how it can be that you get a sweet and a sour shandy at the same time, even though my companion didn't order anything else like me. Despite the waiter asking twice whether the order was correct, another employee of the restaurant came to our table to check once again that the order was correct. However, rice was still served instead of fried noodles and we were a bit surprised where the peanut sauce, which wasn't on the menu, had suddenly come from. (But it was tasty and so no complaints were made). All in all, it was still a worthwhile visit and I didn't regret going there.

The food is generally good and tasty, but not good enough to justify waiting more than 1.5 hours between ordering and eating (!). Only after we were told several times that we were slowly running out of time and that if necessary we would simply have to pay for the drinks and leave without eating, did the dishes arrive. The reason for the delay was "that the dishes were so complicated" (all standard dishes from the menu without special requests). Unfortunately, it didn't make sense to us and was more of a wild excuse. After consulting with other guests, we weren't the only ones who experienced this. It's questionable whether we'll go to Lemongrass again, but in any case we should apparently have a lot of time with us. It's a shame, the food isn't actually bad.

Four of us had dinner at Lemongrass today. I made a reservation there because I've heard and read a lot about it. The food was really great. There was something suitable for everyone and lots of great spices were used. The service wasn't quite as good, or let's say it was a bit demanding today. It was very busy and the two of them “ran” the place. That means you had to wait a long time for everything to arrive and ordering drinks was also a little slower. I think it was due to the large number of people. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. It's worth going back and seeing what it's like the second time.

Staff was very unfriendly and communication was difficult. Communication is not possible in either German or English. I ordered meat, because the owner didn't understand my question, he just cut my meat and held the fork in front of my mouth. Vegetables very hard in the deep fryer for too long, eggplant half raw. Very uncomfortable. Sauces from the meat were extremely salty. Meat extremely high in fat. Definitely never again!

Ich kann negative Bewertungen absolut nicht verstehen und vermute, dass sie wohl das falsche Restaurant bewertet haben.Denn hier trifft nichts davon zu. Wir haben gestern die Titanic Ausstellung angeschaut und auf den Heimweg kamen wir an diesem tollen Restaurant ( übrigens vietnamesisch und nicht asiatisch 🤷🏽‍♀️) vorbei. Es hat ein schönes Ambiente und noch klassische Wärmeplatten mit Kerze, die es bei uns in Franken schon lange nicht mehr gibt, da es fest kein richtiges Restaurant in dieser Art u Weise mehr gibt, denn wir kennen in einer Buffet welt in der man einfach auf den Teller schaufelt. Der Preis ist höher als woanders... Ja das stimmt. Aber dieses Essen ist jeden Cent Wert. Nicht nur geschmacklich ein Gaumenschmaus, sondern auch optisch habe ich lange nicht mehr so schön angerichtet gegessen. Frisches Gemüse, frische gewürzt und vielen haben wir keine 10 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen!!!

When we asked why the food was so expensive, we were told that the spices made it so expensive. Well, okay... I've never experienced anything like that. My wife had a question and she was answered, you can read it. Pretty cheeky but ok. When I ordered I wanted noodles instead of rice. This would only have been possible for an additional charge of 7 euros. The noodles must be made of gold. Ok then no pasta. The food in general was very expensive. Suddenly the boss came and intervened in our table conversation. Here he shows us mushrooms and says that they are very expensive. We can also eat at a snack bar. The funny thing was that the mushrooms looked anything but good and they already had stickers on them that were 30 percent off. My portion was very small. I couldn't get enough of it. I'm more used to it, especially with duck. Taste was ok. Price and performance are not right here. It wasn't particularly clean either. The dust hung in the spider webs. We're definitely not coming back. No restaurant has ever been so rude. Nobody can understand where the good reviews come from. There were four of us.

Excellent quality, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, the baked duck is simply fantastic and the summer rolls, especially the dip, taste wonderful. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly nice or special either. Personally, I don't really like the atmosphere because I find it a bit too crowded.

We went for lunch because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, the starter spoiled my appetite so much that I was no longer able to enjoy the main menu. Not only was the salad old, it was already mushy and spoiled in several places. The main menu was average at best, but neither outstanding in terms of taste nor quality.

I would give this restaurant a maximum of 2 stars. Not a run-of-the-mill store, but a restaurant with authentic cuisine using special spices and ingredients. Of course you have to like it. That’s it for the 2 stars. The manners of the waiters were strange and perhaps not entirely adapted to German culture. We were there on a Saturday around 2 p.m. We wanted to order 2 children's meals, but the waiter was nervous and said one would be enough for the two of them, which in the end wasn't true. The kitchen seemed to want to finish work early. Because my wife and I ordered Vietnamese dishes that were too special for the kids, they ended up staying hungry. It goes on. I ordered a fish dish, but there were small pieces of meat in it. The calamari wasn't cleaned properly either, so there was an unappetizing aftertaste. In order to apparently drive us away, the waiters opened the door and it was really drafty or suddenly completely cold. It was clear with the announcement, “Do you want to pay separately?”, even though we hadn't finished eating. The best thing was, the waiter charged tips even though I didn't want to give a cent for the service. I only noticed this later, but too late... Hence the 3 star deduction! I wouldn't enter the store again.

We ordered 2 vegan dishes: -V.2 SHAOLIN TEMPLE | €18.90 Tomatoes, peppers, bamboo, mushrooms, green beans in a spicy sauce -V.6 THE PEACE OF THE SOUL | €19.90 With various high-quality vegetables with coconut milk in curry-peanut sauce Unfortunately one arrived with tofu and the other with tempeh. Neither was on the menu. I informed them that I couldn't tolerate this and that it wasn't on the menu. The answer we got was that I could put it out and then my husband should just eat it. He doesn't like either of the two things either and so we couldn't eat a good third of both dishes. The dish Shaolin Temple also contained neither peppers nor bamboo and the sauce was okay, but a mild sauce without any spiciness. There was 1 green bean in the whole dish. I like crunchy, fresh vegetables but in both dishes the vegetables were only lukewarm and almost raw. The taste of the food was okay, I have often eaten Vietnamese cuisine, but unfortunately I didn't find it quite as tasty and well seasoned as I know it from Vietnam. When paying we were told that next time we should just say what we didn't agree with and then it would be left out. Why should I mention that I don't eat tofu if it's not on the menu? This restaurant is an absolute insider tip! Comfortable and simply something different in terms of spices. Apart from the delicious food, I would like to emphasize how great the staff is! My grandma ordered a drink and the waiter immediately asked, “Do you want the drink with or without alcohol?”… Yes, that should go without saying, but in a time when without alcohol you are often called a “fun-stopper”. , or have to justify themselves in the case of non-alcoholic variants, I find it highly commendable that this question is asked as something so self-evident and is not served up as “will be wanted with alcohol anyway”!

I can only agree with the previous (current!) reviews - in summary, a failure that is second to none: I have never experienced such disastrous service. Absolutely rude and rude. When we ordered we were told that we should do it quickly because the waitress didn't have time. When we paid we complained that we wanted to pay in cash because otherwise the waitress would have to come in again. The tone was so incredible that we thought we were in a movie. Strangely enough, we were all handed cards (there were four of us) that contained these “outdated” prices - we took a photo of the whole thing. Never again…

Sadly, all the greens in the food were old, rotten, and soggy. The rice was old. The waiter spilled the food on my fiance while trying to cut it for him. It was not a very good experience in the end, given that the prices were not very cheap.
