A rollercoaster of emotions 🎢 Cuisine: 4 stars Service: A gallant zero When you go to a restaurant, you expect a bit of entertainment - and we got that here, although completely different than we expected. Here is our adventure: 1. The bread dilemma Hummus, olives and sun-dried tomatoes for 8 people? Sounds promising - until we were served the proud four slices of bread (instead of the promised tarte flambée chips). No problem, we thought, we'll just ask for more bread. The answer: “I have to ask.” After consulting the house’s bread ambassador, the good news came: “You can have it, but I have to pay for it.” Wow, what generosity! The reorder then took a slim 10 minutes - long enough for the olives and tomatoes to have been eaten. 2. DIY Table Management: The tarte flambées came on impressive wooden boards, but wait – the plates were still on the table! We were instructed in a didactic tone to stack the plates ourselves, otherwise there would be no room for the boards. Finally a restaurant that teaches us the importance of initiative. Service 2.0! 3. The Knife Manifesto: You eat tarte flambée with your hand – we now know that. But beware, someone asks for a knife. The first waiter brought the tools after politely reprimanding us. The second waitress came a few minutes later with another knife and wordlessly rolled her eyes at our polite refusal. Customer service at the highest level! 4. Hummus? Never heard: The bowl with chicken was the star of the evening - at least 19 euros for couscous, a bit of salad and... no hummus. When we kindly pointed out that this ingredient was missing, we received no apology, but rather the offer: “Would you like vegetable chips instead?” When we asked whether we could charge for the dessert instead of the 4 euro chips, the sobering answer came: “No, that’s a lot more expensive.” In the end there was a two whole euro discount. Management seems to be taking a course in generosity here. Conclusion: The kitchen does a great job, the ambience is suitable for tarte flambée - the service, on the other hand, could easily write a new chapter in a book about anti-gastronomy. For anyone who wants to experience an interactive theater performance, this restaurant is the place to be. Unfortunately, throughout the entire visit one had the impression that guests here were more of a burden than welcome visitors. We still laugh – unfortunately not out of joy.😃

I will no longer buy vouchers for Le Feu! Like many people here, I haven't written a review yet. But today's experience was hard to beat... We were eating at Le Feu in Münster today and wanted to pay with a voucher that I received as a gift for Christmas last year. The waitress then disappeared with the voucher and then told us that it was no longer valid because it was older than a year... As far as I know and have googled, the vouchers are valid for three years and therefore are we went to the boss to complain. She also knew about three years, but told us that the administration was difficult and the money would not be released. She definitely wouldn't pay the money out of her own pocket. She wasn't interested in the fact that we were now paying twice for the meal. Rather, we should complain and put pressure on the administration and they wished us good luck with it. However, if there are difficulties in a franchise, that is not our problem. We just wanted to have a nice evening and redeem our voucher. Overall, the food was delicious, but I would never buy a voucher for le Feu again because you don't know whether you can redeem it because there is either stress with the administration or the redemption period has expired. By the way, today is December 8th, 2024 and the voucher was purchased on December 5th, 2023.... No sensitivity...

Very large selection of delicious tarte flambées. From traditional to extravagant. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Title: Mixed Experience Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired - the staff seemed unmotivated and not attentive. The food was mixed: some dishes were really tasty, others were rather disappointing. What was particularly annoying, however, was the all-you-can-eat offer, which came with countless rules and restrictions - which took the fun out of the whole thing. Unfortunately, the bowling alley was a real negative: it had a strong, musty cellar smell that made staying there unpleasant. Overall, unfortunately no recommendation (anymore).

Tarte flambée lovers will get their money's worth here. The All You Can Eat is recommended for more than two people. The larger the group, the more different tarte flambées you can try - because the large selection really leaves nothing to be desired in its creative constellations. Top!

I'll put it this way...we won't be coming back. It's not what it used to be. We took the buffet. We had to call the service several times to order the next round, even though there were only two others in the restaurant besides us, which is something we know differently. The tarte flambée itself was ok, as long as you don't expect it to be well topped. 2 slices of ham or 4 small slices of Corizo ​​are anything but great value for money. On top of that, we were forced to take petit (small tarte flambée) twice by the service... Basically we can understand what this is supposed to be about. You don't want to throw anything away because you might. doesn't manage. We still just didn't feel comfortable with it, according to the motto "take the smaller ones, they're cheaper for us". We paid the buffet for €26 with large tarte flambées and not for small ones. For us, price-performance is absolutely no longer justified and in the future we would rather make it ourselves at home with more toppings that we don't have to look for.

You immediately feel at home when you enter the restaurant because the ambience is so loving and the service welcomes you in a friendly and courteous manner. However, based on the good reviews on the internet, we expected more from the food - unfortunately, both the portion size and the taste of the tarte flambée didn't appeal to us at all. Unfortunately, they were not well topped and the cream itself was almost completely missing. Besides, even I was still really hungry after a tarte flambée, my friend even more so. Salt and pepper were missing at the table and on the tarte flambée, but I received the same when I asked. Another point of criticism: After what felt like 2 minutes the tarte flambée was already cold. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it because of the food, but if you want to have a drink and sit comfortably, it's definitely fine.

A very nice and nice little restaurant where you can get a lot of different tarte flambées. With a so-called flat rate you can try many tarte flambées and you really have to say they all taste very tasty and have good toppings. There are also vegetarian tarte flambées. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. A very good address.

Mega delicious tarte flambée, each one tastes very unique and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan tarte flambée.

We were there as a large group and all took all you can eat (only recommended if you are very hungry, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it). Actually everything was very tasty and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, we usually had to wait a long time for the next round (sometimes 30 minutes or more). One round was even completely forgotten and was only noticed by the staff after 45 minutes.

We came after a 6-hour drive with our 2-year-old son, who was clearly unbearable. The team, however, gave us a very warm welcome and went out of their way to entertain him as much as possible. Thank you for this kind welcome despite this little demon! The tartes flambées are the best I have ever eaten and yet I stayed in Alsace for a long time. This is clearly an address that I recommend. A quick note if your restaurant is looking for a new tarte flambée recipe: Munster is a French cheese, which is sometimes found on French tartes flambées. I expected to find Munster in Münster! 😊

I really enjoyed the Flammkuchen here, they're not small and can quite well fill you up. It's nice to go in a larger group so you can share and experience different flavours. Having said that, I do think they are rather expensive. The staff were wonderful, the location was great, and the outdoor area is perfect on a warm day.

It's really worth it with all you can eat, otherwise too expensive for individual tarte flambées. Still very tasty!

Good tarte flambée restaurant. The welcome is very warm. The service is fast and efficient. Friendly waitress. The decor is original with crates on the ceiling. The tartes flambées are good. Decent apple tart with calvados.

Le Feu is very well located and the tarte flambée was also very tasty. The selection is extremely large, there are even vegan and vegetarian tarte flambées made in the “meatless Alsatian style”. Highly recommended for taste! However, the service seemed overwhelmed. Orders were mixed up, I first received a tarte flambée from the next table and unfortunately the drink wasn't the one I ordered. A visitor at the next table was upset about this, but unfortunately the service didn't respond to it diplomatically. The ambience is okay, although I would recommend sitting outside despite the main street. It is quite dark inside and has a bit of a “village pub” feel to it. You have to like it, but it wasn't mine.

Very kind and welcoming staff. Don't miss the chance to take the Flammkuchen "tour" tout le monde which, for a fixed fee, allows you to taste all the savory and sweet Flammkuchen you want. We chose everything vegan and it was really excellent. The menu clearly indicates which Flammkuchen you can request in a vegan version. There are so many choices.

Very nice staff, super fast even on a busy Friday evening. Flambées come hot. The dough is quite thin and crunchy, which I think is just right. The toppings differ enormously from one another and all taste great.

Highly recommended: Flammkuchen is the better pizza! Everything here is prepared quickly, freshly and to your liking. We received friendly, quick service and very nice advice. We've been there several times before. Last time we got a bill from the other table, which was noticeable because there were only two of us sitting there and not in a large group. Today it was said that the kitchen was already closed because there weren't many reservations. That at 9:15 p.m. at Send was really a shame and sad.

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime with a group of eight. Unfortunately the waiting time for the food was about 3/4 hour. After we couldn't even place our first order after 15 minutes, we left the restaurant again. Too bad!

Another of the “musts” in Münster. Flammkuchen are obviously the specialty, but other options are excellent too. The food is awesome, the staff is super friendly, the place is super cosy and in summer the terrace is an extra plus.

We were disappointed with the service at Le Feu today. We wanted to redeem a voucher from NeoTaste. Before eating we were assured that this would be taken into account when paying. When paying, however, it was said that the voucher could not be redeemed because the number of vouchers for today had been exhausted. The voucher promotion period is valid on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., we ate around 1:30 p.m. Incomprehensible and totally annoying.

Large selection of tarte flambées, especially the vegan versions, are consistently positive. Unfortunately, the overall service leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes you have to wait over an hour for service. A waiter tried to save it at the end. Unfortunately, the overall bad impression remains.

You can't divide the tarte flambée in half and top it with different toppings. Instead you can choose “Petit” and get a tarte flambée for €4 less but then only half as much. Of course, you can't go wrong with the taste of tarte flambée, so you can eat well here, but it's not exceptional and you can just see and taste that you're eating in a big chain.

A very nice evening at LeFeu. It's always nice to enjoy the all-you-can-eat and one or two wines here. I'd love to come back. There is also a bowling alley in the basement that you can book.

The food was very tasty. A good selection for vegetarians too. We were there with a very mixed group with different tastes and everyone found something suitable. I can highly recommend the homemade lemonade. And the staff was very accommodating, friendly, attentive and in a good mood. That makes a huge difference!!!

We were here in Münster for a long weekend and came across this restaurant by chance. It was great for me because I love tarte flambée. So we reserved a table straight away. I thought it was great to have so many choices, even if it wasn't easy to decide which one to choose. Then I had one with goat cheese and honey and was totally thrilled. We liked the service, the ambience and the selection so much that we made a reservation for the next day.

Simply good! Lots of delicious tarte flambée, including vegetarian and vegan versions. The All You Can Eat is totally worth it to try different tarte flambées. Not the last time there.

The food, in my case a “chicken Provence” tarte flambée and a chocolate soufflé as dessert, was extremely delicious and recommended. The ambience radiates a pleasant calm, especially thanks to the creative interior design with warm colors and wooden elements. Completely successful. Important to know (see also other reviews): You should be there early or, even better, reserve a table early, otherwise you may not get a table. I was there today (a Monday) and it was pretty fully booked.

We had dinner there with the family today. At first we were thinking about whether we should take all you can eat. Since our children >12 years old are not big eaters, we decided not to use it. If only the two adults had taken all you can eat, we would have had to sit at separate tables. So I ordered the Chili Cheese for €14.50. It was really tasty but was anything but filling due to the sparse topping. 7 small pieces of bacon, a few japalenos and some chili in the middle of the tarte flambée. I'm aware that prices have risen everywhere. But I find €14.50 for such a tarte flambée a bit outrageous. I treated myself to a bratwurst at the fair next door. All you can eat I might come back again.

As a long-time customer, I have always enjoyed your delicious tarte flambée, but the current prices have simply become disproportionately high. For me, the attractiveness of your restaurant has been significantly reduced by these price increases. I had hoped to be able to continue eating with you regularly, but the current costs no longer allow that. Please reconsider your pricing policy and offer fair prices again so that customers like me can continue to enjoy your Flammkuchenhaus.

They have all you can eat or a la carte. They also have a deal where you can get a mini size for 5 euros less. I think mini would be way tooo small for my appetite. The regular sizes are perfect. Everything tasted great and food came quickly. Also lots of vegetarian options!

Sehr leckere Flammkuchen und freundliches Personal und im Sommer kann man optimal draußen sitzen. Wir freuen uns aufs nächste mal.

Ambiente und Service fanden wir super. Das Essen war in Ordnung.

Das Essen (Le Feu am Schlossplatz) war nur ok, der Flammkuchen schmeckte teils fad, für den Preis nicht ok. Der Service war leider schlecht, ähnlich wir bei anderen Rezensionen. Was im Le Feu scheinbar unter "Service" verstanden wird, können wir nicht nachvollziehen! Unser Kellner verhielt sich außerdem sehr seltsam. Folgenden eine etwas längere Ausführung unseres Besuchs für Interessierte: Wir mussten zB. mehrfach aufstehen und fragen, ob wir noch Getränke und Nachspeisen bestellen können, obwohl das Restaurant kaum halb voll war. Nach dem ersten Mal Aufstehen & Nachfragen sollte das eig. besser klappen. Von den vier bestellten Nachspeisen waren gegen 20.45 Uhr nicht mehr genügend vorhanden. Das kann mal passieren, also teilten wir den noch vorhandenen Rest. Wir bekamen dann aber zwei unterschiedlich große Creme Brule Schalen (siehe Foto). Auf Nachfrage erklärte uns der Kellner frech, dass diese trotz des sichtbaren Größenunterschieds die gleiche Menge beinhalten würden und wir für beide den vollen Preis von 7,50€ zahlen müssten. Da die Schüsseln gleich hoch, aber von unterschiedlichem Durchmesser waren, konnten wir das nicht nachvollziehen. Die Creme Brule war oben teilweise schwarz verbrannt, was man leider auch schmeckte (schwarze Stippen, siehe Foto). Nach einer ganzen Weile kam plötzlich der gleiche Kellner mit zwei penibel bis zur 0,2l Markierung mit Wasser befüllten Weingläsern und zwei leeren Creme Brule Schüsseln in den beide Größen zurück an unseren Tisch. Er unterbrach unser Gespräch, behauptete, er sei auch der Geschäftsführer des Restaurants und wolle uns nun demonstrieren, dass die Schüsseln, wie er insistierte, gleich groß seien und wir daher Unrecht mit der behaupteten sichtbaren Unterschiedlichkeit hätten. Wir hatten nicht um eine Demonstration gebeten, der Kellner verhielt sich daher recht übergriffig und uns war das ganze sehr unangenehm. Ein kurzes Sorry und eine Reduktion des einen Preises wären völlig angemessen und ausreichend gewesen, Der Kellner konnte es aber scheinbar nicht akzeptieren, dass wir seine absurden Behauptung nicht einfach glauben wollten. Er befüllte daraufhin die beiden Schüsseln mit dem Wasser. Erwartungsgemäß waren diese natürlich NICHT gleich groß, die größere war nicht voll gefüllt und bei der kleineren Schüssel schwappte das Wasser sogar über den Rand. Daraufhin behauptete unser Kellner, dass die Wassermenge ja dann nicht stimmen könne und die 0,2L Linie der Weingläser wohl fälschlich markiertworden sei, er müsse dies nun in der Küche prüfen. Daraufhin verschwand er wieder. Abgesehen davon, dass wir vorher die ganze Zeit mit den gleichen Weingläsern bedient worden waren (soll das nun im Umkehrschluss heißen, wir haben die ganze Zeit nicht die angegebene Menge der Getränke bekommen?!), war die Aktion wirklich peinlich und lächerlich. Wir wollten entspannt einen schönen Abend im Le Feu verbringen, das war so leider nicht möglich - und möchten auch nicht so unverschämt abgehandelt werden - wir gehen in Zukunft woanders essen.

Eine Reservierung zu Stoßzeiten ist von Vorteil. Sehr freundliches Personal. Vielen Dank für das feine Essen!

The flamcucken pizza here is really unique and delicious, especially the Hawaiian and Kinder Regal ones. It does get busy, and sitting close to other groups can be really annoying. I wish they had tomato-based or pesto sauce in addition to the cream.

Ich war nach einer Wohnungsbesichtigung mit meinem Vater im Le Feu essen. Man bedenke, wir waren bereits seit dem frühen Morgen unterwegs und freuten uns auf unsere erste Mahlzeit an diesem Tag. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Auch ohne Reservierung fand man im Innenraum noch einen Platz für uns. Auf die Flammkuchen mussten wir zwar etwas warten, aber als sie dann da waren, gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Daher vergebe ich 4 Sterne. In Zukunft muss nur an den Wartezeiten gearbeitet werden und vielleicht bietet man dann auch Messer und Gabel als Besteck an.

Immer einen Besuch wert, das Le Feu. All you can eat ist richtig klasse. Man lernt viele Flammkuchen kennen und diese sind ideal zum Teilen.

Eine sehr große Azuswahl an leckeren Flammkuchen. Toller freundlicher Service. Innen sitzt man teilweise etwas beengt und wenn es wie gstern Abend voll ist, dann ist es schon sehr laut. Obwohl alle Plätze besetzt waren, ging der Bestellvorgang schnell und auch die Wartezeiten auf Essen und Trinken waren in einem angenehmen Rahmen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Atmosphäre insgesamt sehr gut, leider werden alle Frühgänger (1700 Uhr ) in einen Raum gesetzt, wobei das restliche Restaurant total leer war. Entsprechend sehr laut. Essen einfallsreich, geschmacklich lecker. Kommen im Sommer wieder und hoffen auf einen Außenplatz

Ich hege zwar eine Abneigung gegen Restaurantketten, aber die Erfahrung hier war wider Erwarten sehr gut. Ambiente, Essen und Service waren gut bis sehr gut. Ich fand nichts zum Meckern.

Immer wieder sehr sehr lecker! Man kann drinnen oder auf der großen Terrasse auch einfach nur einen Kaffee oder ein Aperölchen trinken, aber wer dazu keinen Flammkuchen bestellt, verpasst das Beste

Gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren Flammkuchen. Wir haben das all-you-can-eat bestellt.. leider waren die Zeiten zwischen den Bestellungen recht lang was natürlich dem Sinn&Zweck eines all you can eats aus Gastsicht widerspricht; letztendlich kam am Ende so lange niemand mehr zu unserem Tisch oder auch nur in die Nähe unseres Restaurantbereichs, dass wir ohne weitere/Dessert-Flammkuchen unzufrieden zu unserem Zug laufen mussten und überhaupt nicht unser Geld wert erhalten haben/veressen konnten - in unserem Fall das „all u can eat“ also leider ein Reinfall und der Besuch absolut überteuert für das was wir erhalten (oder eben nicht) haben. Schade.
