Appears to be a family run business with nice owners. The food, however, could be some of the worst Indian food I've had. It's pretty obvious that the restaurant doubles as an Italian/pizza place. The garlic naan we ordered was thick with a small amount of garlic spread; it didn't look like traditional naan and instead resembled pizza dough shaped like naan (tasted like it too). The chicken vindaloo had large chunks of unseasoned chicken (no potatoes as advertised) with thin tomato-based sauce. It tasted like tomato sauce with a small amount of curry seasoning added. It almost seems like they're using the same dough for the pizzas and naan and the same sauce base for their pizzas and curry. Also be warned that they only take cash. I'm sorry to say that I don't recommend this place.

Very tasty Indian dishes. Unfortunately, however, prices (especially the drinks) are above average.

We ordered Garlic Naan, Aloo Dum and Malai kofta. All were horrible. Naam was like a big, thick bread with Garlic paste on it and sides of the bread was all uncooked. Our stomach got upset after eating them. Curries were too much sour and tasted nothing like authentic Aloo dum or Malai kofta. This was my last order. Order platform: Liefrando

Always an excellent experience at this restaurant. You can get the real taste of India here compared to any other north Indian restaurant in Frankfurt.

Food quality and quantity is good.

Italian and Indian restaurant. The owners come from Punjab but have lived in Germany for many years. I was really craving a plate of spaghetti. I then ordered the spaghetti bolognese and a margherita pizza. I ate with gusto. The service, in a very welcoming restaurant, was very efficient. I got to know the owners by telling them about Punjab the song played by Ioe Henderson.

Excellent random discovery on a sunny Saturday evening in Frankfurt. The tandoori chicken, Mango chicken and a vegetarian dish were all excellent, tasty, in sufficient quantity.naans extras. We loved it, fair prices, €70 for 3 with drinks.

It was run by what looked like a family, their service was quick and good. I ordered their Dhal Tadka Highway (also made it spicy for me) for take away and it was just too good🤤. The only thing that wasn’t too nice is that they don’t take card payments.

Best Indian food in Frankfurt! Chicken tikka masala, mango curry were great - rice and naan bread fresh and authentic service.

Rustic, authentic atmosphere with very tasty food. The two operators are very personable and the food is prepared completely fresh. Good portion sizes.

Very good indian food. Everything is made freshly. Excellent if you're visiting Frankfurt from abroad as they also have international menus. You might have to wait a little while for your food sometimes but it's worth it as the food simply tastes delicious!

Small inconspicuous restaurant. Fair price/performance ratio, large portions and deliciously prepared. Excellent Garlic Naan with Raita. Tables are too narrow for my liking...but the restaurant was very busy. In addition to Indian dishes, Italian dishes are also offered. Even if there is a critical undertone, a return visit is definitely planned. Friendly and nice service.

In contrast to the food, the ambience is tasteful. The dishes lacked both spice and sophistication in serving. The service was initially friendly, but no longer came to the table and after the dishes were taken away you were unmistakably ignored. The restaurant is rather expensive for Indian cuisine and offers little in return.

Six of us were there spontaneously on the carnival weekend. 5x Indian and 1x spaghetti left everyone more than satisfied. The atmosphere is quite cozy, the food is perfect. Great!

The food is freshly prepared and is not - like in a nearby restaurant - convenience. Very authentic, not too spicy, portion very good and absolutely sufficient; Rice can be reordered free of charge. Service was very polite and friendly and extremely attentive. Interior clean. Small negative point: It smells strongly of kitchen/food.

A place to stop off. Friendly staff. Food, unfortunately the rice had a burnt taste. Vegetable, meat dishes were very tasty and tasty.

So far I can only rate the Indian food, which is really very good, whether on site or to take away. The couple who run it are very warm and friendly and the restaurant is cozy in its own special way. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the really large portions. I always enjoy going there.

Angenehmes, authentisches Familienrestaurant, das vom Ambiente her auch genau so in Indien liegen könnte. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und schmecken gut, allerdings ist das Essen typisch europäisiert. Ich würde mir ja wünschen, dass indische Köche sich mal mehr trauen würden. Immerhin bekam ich ungefragt eine Schale Chilisauce zum Verfeinern dazugereicht. Dass hier zusätzlich auch Pizza verkauft wird, ist völlig unverständlich und sollte eigentlich jeden abschrecken, das kleine Restaurant sollte es schaffen, allein mit indischer Küche die meisten Plätze zu besetzen. Das Personal, ebenfalls authentisch indisch, war sehr aufmerksam und richtig sympathisch.

Sehr einfach eingerichtet aber in Ordnung Der laden wird scheinbar von einem Pärchen geführt, leider hat die Bedienung kaum geredet, was ich finde das gehört ja schon irgendwie dazu mit den Kunden zu Kommunizieren. Essen hat zwar ganz gut geschmeckt, jedoch war die Konsistenz vom Fleisch etwas komisch und ich habe seitdem ich dort gegessen habe Magen-/Darmbeschwerden :/

- Essen (Chicken-Mango/-Vindaloo/-TikkaMasalla) geschmacklich eher befriedigend (Sauce wässrig) bis ausreichend, vor allem beide letzteren Gerichte zu scharf - obwohl max mild angefragt wurde, Menge mehr als ausreichend - Service bemüht und freundlich - Location: klein, in die Jahre gekommen, sehr einfach & billig wirkend Fazit: Preis-Leistung ausreichend, erstmalig & letztmalig ausprobiert

Meine Pizza war wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich das nächstemal in Frankfurt bin, weiß ich wo ich wieder esse.

On a Sunday evening I visited this Indian restaurant out of the Blue. Honestly, I wasn’t aware of this place and my friend took me here. Trust me, their food is so delicious with right amount of spices. I ordered paneer chilli and my friend ordered chicken chilly! Tastes really nice and for the quantity of food that we get, it is worth the price!! Don’t give it a second thought, because it’s worth a try😇😇

Wir wollten etwas zu Mittag essen und sind unter der Woche spontan bei Laxmi rein. Das Inhaberehepaar (?) war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Interior war leider kalt, spgar lieblos und der Boden dreckig. (Bei jedem Schritt klebte die Sohle halb fest.) Der Reis war wässrig und geschmacksneutral, das Hähnchen komisch in der Konsistenz (gepresstes Fleisch?), alleine die Soße war gut.

This place serves Italian and Indian. It has a nice atmosphere since it's small. However, I'd not recommend it for their Indian. The dish we had wasn't the best.

Durchschnittliches indisches Restaurant mit überteuerten Preisen. Im Restaurant kann man quasi nicht sitzen, da die Lüftungsanlage der Küche, den Küchenrauch nicht abzieht.

Sehr gemütliches kleines Restaurant, familiäre Atmosphäre und Leitung. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preisgünstig. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Bei indischen Restaurants die auch Pizza u.ä. verkaufen bin ich immer skeptisch. Und hier hätte sich diese Skepsis gelohnt. Für viel Geld habe ich hier Reis und eine Tomaten-Sahne-Soße bekommen. Curry oder irgendeine Art von Gewürz habe ich da nicht schmecken können. Die größte Enttäuschung war der Paneer - von Geschmack und Konsistenz her war das einfach Ricotta, und hatte nichts mit dem indischen Käse zu tun, den ich aus 30+ anderen indischen Restaurants in Frankfurt kenne.

Probably one of the best experiences in Frankfurt. From outside you enter with low expectations. However, the fact that the place is not highly decorated or anything seems like you are entering their home and not a restaurant, which I think is super nice. The food is cooked at the moment, bit by bit. The staff is a super nice couple that works together between cooking and serving. One of the single places that I would always crave and wish to come back. Highly recommend the chilly-curry chicken and the chicken tandoori with some garlic naan.

Sehr leckeres authentisches Essen mit großen Portionen und super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Nur zu empfehlen ! Ein verstecktes Juwel auf der Schweizer Straße.

The dish was overpriced (14€) for a "mix veg dish" with only 2 type of vegetables inside. They could enrich this dish with variety of vegetables. It's a shame, because the food is fresh and teasty but poor.
