I was there about two years ago; I discovered it through a friend and his Instagram story. I can only say that the drive from near Bremerhaven was more than worth it. I immediately ate two delicious steak doner kebabs in a row. Super tasty and highly recommended 👍🏼

The atmosphere is ok, a bit cramped, but in my opinion it's not that important anyway because we always order take-away, for example.

The service is mediocre and there is no communication between colleagues. The offer? You don't need any promises, the shop needs to be closed for 4 weeks and everything needs to be replaced, and the hygiene wasn't the best either.

I haven't had a better veal kebab yet. It's definitely worth it, don't let the outside fool you. You can find everything from handmade Turkish pizza to traditional soups here. But unfortunately the tripe soup wasn't to my taste.

I ordered the XXL steak kebab and the meat looked very high quality even on the skewer. Not like any run-of-the-mill meat skewer. The meat is super juicy and the salad is fresh and crunchy. The bread and sauces are, I suspect, in-house. The kebab with hot, avocado and garlic sauce more than convinced me. An absolute gem of a kebab shop. Definitely an 11/10. You will see me more often in the future.

Everyone told me I should definitely go there. I then drove 60 km with two friends. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Portion of the kebab was ok, the bread was crispy, but if you ordered it with sauce, it unfortunately fell apart. I didn't like the steak kebab meat that much. I also didn't think the lady who collected the money was entirely kosher, the remaining money was simply put on the cash register and I wasn't even asked if I wanted it back. The special feature of this snack is undoubtedly the unique meat and the charcoal grill. The taste of the meat is really outstanding and the quality of the ingredients is also commendable. Nevertheless, I've been there three times and twice had the misfortune that the restaurant closed early (even though I arrived an hour and a half to two hours before closing time) apparently due to a shortage of meat. There was obviously enough meat on the skewers for at least ten dishes. On the third visit it finally worked. The price is quite high, but I was happy to accept it due to the unique types of meat and the special preparation. One clear point of criticism, however, is that the salesperson behind the counter tried to dissuade me from paying by card, obviously due to personal preferences. He went to great lengths to explain to me why this wasn't ideal (without clear reasoning). Since I didn't feel like having a lengthy discussion, I ended up paying in cash. A younger gentleman, possibly an employee, kindly tried to defuse the situation and help me understand the reasons. I also find it absolutely impossible that the owner obviously favors some guests, among other things. At one point it was so obvious that you could clearly see him saying in Turkish to a customer who entered the store after me that he had specially brought him forward so that he could receive his order more quickly. Something like that is absolutely not possible! Who knows how often this happens when others don't understand it. Furthermore, it should be said that the woman who is covered (with a headscarf) has unfortunately already been charged incorrect amounts. I was able to accurately reconcile that the menu that popped up on the screen stated a cheaper price for the order, but she charged slightly more. Since it wasn't a big difference, I left it at that and didn't want to discuss it. In my opinion, the dark-haired gentleman who works behind the counter (sometimes with earphones in his ears) works by far the best and most structured. In addition to the mistakes that the lady sometimes makes there, it is clear that he catches and corrects a lot of things so that no mistakes result. I always have a very good feeling when I order from him. He is also friendly and humorous. Despite the incidents, which are somewhat disturbing, I still enjoy eating there and can definitely recommend the dishes at “Lava Grill”. – Nevertheless, there is room for improvement in customer service.

The food there is great, something you rarely get anywhere else. But what has been bothering me lately is the pricing policy there. If a kebab costs 6.90/7.90€, then the older lady there will (usually) embezzle the 10 cent change. Of course, some people say they can keep the 10 cents, but if the money is embezzled from the start, that's an outrage. It is now said that the kebab costs €7/8, although this price is not communicated anywhere. For me that's a reason not to go there anymore, even though the kebab is super tasty.
