I happened to walk past the shop. An incredibly good smell simply lured me into the shop. I'm really not a kebab fan, but this is anything but these ready-made skewers. The portion is okay for a man. You really get greedy and want to eat your way through the map. I'll definitely come by more often now. Highly recommended. By the way, card payment is possible! I deducted a star for the ambience, but this is due to the location 😉

Believe the hype!!! The kebab absolutely lives up to the hype after visiting Holle. The service was excellent, the food was simply delicious, and the sight of the skewer on the charcoal grill suggested something great. Unfortunately I can't give 6 stars, but they're definitely deserved! If you're in the area and looking for something good to eat - don't hesitate, it's totally worth it!

Through my new job in Delmenhorst, the Lava Grill Delmenhorst was recommended to me. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. There are freshly prepared ingredients in the display. I see the special thing in the charcoal grill where the juicy kebab skewers are cooked, the kebab meat itself has a very special quality good quality and it is crispy and juicy in taste.

Quality has deteriorated significantly. Staff often inattentive to orders and unpunctual when ordering. It's a shame... It used to be really good here. The last time we ordered, the food just looked bland and soggy.

The special feature of this snack is undoubtedly the unique meat and the charcoal grill. The taste of the meat is really outstanding and the quality of the ingredients is also commendable. Nevertheless, I've been there three times and twice had the misfortune that the restaurant closed early (even though I arrived an hour and a half to two hours before closing time) apparently due to a shortage of meat. There was obviously enough meat on the skewers for at least ten dishes. On the third visit it finally worked. The price is quite high, but I was happy to accept it due to the unique types of meat and the special preparation. One clear point of criticism, however, is that the salesperson behind the counter tried to dissuade me from paying by card, obviously due to personal preferences. He went to great lengths to explain to me why this wasn't ideal (without clear reasoning). Since I didn't feel like having a lengthy discussion, I ended up paying in cash. A younger gentleman, possibly an employee, kindly tried to defuse the situation and help me understand the reasons. I also find it absolutely impossible that the owner obviously favors some guests, among other things. At one point it was so obvious that you could clearly see him saying in Turkish to a customer who entered the store after me that he had specially brought him forward so that he could receive his order more quickly. Something like that is absolutely not possible! Who knows how often this happens when others don't understand it. Furthermore, it should be said that the woman who is covered (with a headscarf) has unfortunately already been charged incorrect amounts. I was able to accurately reconcile that the menu that popped up on the screen stated a cheaper price for the order, but she charged slightly more. Since it wasn't a big difference, I left it at that and didn't want to discuss it. In my opinion, the dark-haired gentleman who works behind the counter (sometimes with earphones in his ears) works by far the best and most structured. In addition to the mistakes that the lady sometimes makes there, it is clear that he catches and corrects a lot of things so that no mistakes result. I always have a very good feeling when I order from him. He is also friendly and humorous. Despite the incidents, which are somewhat disturbing, I still enjoy eating there and can definitely recommend the dishes at “Lava Grill”. – Nevertheless, there is room for improvement in customer service.

The food there is great, something you rarely get anywhere else. But what has been bothering me lately is the pricing policy there. If a kebab costs 6.90/7.90€, then the older lady there will (usually) embezzle the 10 cent change. Of course, some people say they can keep the 10 cents, but if the money is embezzled from the start, that's an outrage. It is now said that the kebab costs €7/8, although this price is not communicated anywhere. For me that's a reason not to go there anymore, even though the kebab is super tasty.

We come from Cuxhaven and were there for the first time. We can only recommend the food. We even got to try the meat. Everything is freshly prepared. The meat is at least a 12/10. Today I really wanted a chicken kebab and then used Google Maps to look for kebab shops in the surrounding area. Lava Grill in Delmenhorst caught my eye because of the good reviews and I set off. The rotisserie skewers are cooked with coal. The counter was very tidy and clean. Everything looked very fresh. I ordered a chicken bag to take away for an incredible €6.90. My chicken pocket was really tasty, the meat was really well cooked and seasoned. The bread tasted wonderfully fresh. I will definitely get something to eat at Lava Grill more often. The prices are unbeatable for the quality you get.

Can't understand the hype. The taste of the coals in the grill changes in my opinion. nothing. The steak meat is quite good, but not a world first. The waiting time today (Sunday) was immense, about 30 minutes. Regarding hygiene: There's no point in wearing gloves if you're actually doing everything with them: collecting money, cutting vegetables, refilling sauces... In short: There are better shops in Delmenhorst.

Well...the meat tasted good...you can definitely tell that it was grilled differently. I missed the sauce a bit (cocktail or something)... just tzatziki isn't enough. Had to wait over half an hour... a very long time. Not exactly cheap.

Today we had the steak roll. Once normal and once XL. The portions were okay and the food was tasty. The only thing I think could be improved is the bread, as it splits quickly and is sometimes too firm. The service was good, but the ambience was not good. Too few seats and visually questionable. If you apply the quality of the food to other things, then you will have a really great shop. Nonetheless, we will come back again. We find the value for money to be good, apart from the ambience.

I've eaten in many kebab shops in Germany, but this one really impressed me. The kebab I ate here is the best I have ever tasted in Germany. It tastes incredibly similar to the famous Ferhat Döner from Vienna, which I also really appreciate. The bread is simply fantastic – fresh, crispy and perfectly baked. The vegetables were also remarkably fresh, even when we were there just before closing time. You can tell that quality is important here. The owner of the shop is another reason why I always like to come back here. He is extremely kind and personable and it was a pleasure to talk to him. He has the ability to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. I am so enthusiastic about this kebab shop that I now regularly drive here from Oldenburg to enjoy this excellent kebab. Every visit is absolutely worth it. I travel around a lot across the country and enjoy eating good kebab. I have to say Lava Grill is one of the best. The steak meat is exactly as you would expect it from Turkey. Don't let the simple ambience put you off. It depends on the taste and it is great. I'd love to come back - despite the 300 km journey! A little tip: to better bring out the flavor of the meat, no sauce, because this kebab is so good, it doesn't need any sauce.
