All the dishes were incredibly delicious, served piping hot, and beautifully presented. It was clear that great care was taken in the preparation and presentation of the food. We would also like to commend the service. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt very comfortable throughout the entire evening. To finish, we had a strawberry sundae with whipped cream for dessert – also delicious and a perfect end to the meal. Anyone who enjoys tapas should definitely visit El Toro. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

I've been to El Toro a few times as a guest. I've eaten various dishes such as tapas, fish, chicken, and pasta. Each time, the garlic flavor was so intense that it overpowered the other ingredients. I've experienced much more balanced garlic in the heart of Spain. It was almost inedible for me. Yes, I know, it's a matter of taste. But does there have to be so much garlic? If they offer at least one dish without any garlic at all, I'll go back.

The ambiance is very tastefully decorated. The large outdoor terrace is also very charming. The staff were very friendly. We were served very fresh baguette with aioli as a starter – absolutely delicious. I've rarely had such fresh bread. The main course arrived quickly. There's nothing to complain about there either. I'll definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

The server was friendly, but brought each drink individually. My recommendation: get a tablet or at least allow each server to carry two glasses at a time.

Alster (a shandy) for €4.80 each, for a total of €33.40 ❗ Unfortunately, the charge for what we consumed didn't work. 🤔 Even when they listed the items at the table, it sounded strange because they mentioned a small beer. However, we only had two 0.4-liter Alsters, which we immediately corrected. The waitress then showed us the machine and charged us for 0.4 liters. Honey was MISSING – the chili was completely missing and had to be brought back by staff after a short wait! More flavorful tomatoes would have improved this salad. Freshly baked ciabatta was unfortunately MISSING! It definitely wasn't fresh. We're used to better. Even though we still had bread, the bread basket was taken away to refill it. When it didn't come back, the staff HAD to come again! Regarding drinks (beer), it would be good if the limit was fully enforced and not below the marked line! A SHAME, I would have liked to report a different experience. There was only an apology, nothing else! It's SHAMEFUL for El Toro not to react adequately and in a customer-oriented manner to such an experience! It's certainly not unreasonable to expect more than just an apology in such a situation. TRULY very, very, very SHAME. A REAL SHAME. Then you'll just go somewhere you've had better experiences in the future. 🤔

A gift certificate was purchased from the store. Oddly enough, the card only had the amount printed on it, no company stamp or signature. We didn't question it at the time. We should have, because when we went there for dinner with the birthday person and tried to redeem the certificate, it wasn't accepted; they said a card was missing. After speaking with the waitstaff and the restaurant manager, they promised a replacement certificate. However, it hasn't arrived to this day! My money from the certificate is probably gone... :-( And so my gift was ruined too :-((

There's also the option to choose nine tapas from a list for a fixed price. Despite the large number of guests and relatively few staff members, it's worth noting that the staff was very friendly, attentive, and courteous. The food arrived promptly, and we were delighted with the tapas. We especially enjoyed the shrimp and the croquette. Afterwards, we had a slice of San Sebastian cheesecake. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely return. Anyone looking for a convivial and delicious meal with great service in Delmenhorst shouldn't miss El Toro.

A bit petty... when a large group of 10 people, who had eaten and drunk a good amount, only received a small basket of bread and two small pots of aioli, and then had to ask for another one at the end for an extra €2. A truly unique kind of customer service... "Irony off"

We were warmly welcomed and given free choice of seating. Our very friendly server, Cagla, brought us the menus in under a minute, and less than two minutes later, we received chilled drinks, a generous bowl of bread, and homemade aioli that tasted almost exactly like our family's aioli recipe. We ordered a "Malaga" tapas platter and several individual hot tapas, all of which were delicious. When our bread started to run low, Cagla was back to refill it – now that's service! We'll definitely be back – see you soon! 🫶

As a group, we decided to try El Toro. We had reserved a table in advance, so we didn't have to wait. However, we had to wait about 45 minutes for service to order drinks and then again for our food order. The food, on the other hand, came relatively quickly. I ordered the lamb skewers. The lamb was very tasty, but the potatoes weren't really edible. They unfortunately tasted a bit stale. The salad was okay, but nothing special. Overall, it was OK. However, I find the drinks very expensive; €4.60 for a 0.33 liter Coke is pretty harsh. Maybe it wasn't their day. I'll try it again another time to get a second impression.

Today we spontaneously stopped for lunch at El Toro in Delmenhorst. So if you're stranded in Delmenhorst at lunchtime and/or are hungry, El Toro is the place to go. Plus, the service is quick, so it's perfect for a lunch break.👍 We had the pasta twice and the burger once. The pasta was very well received and was praised as being really delicious. I would have liked to try some of that as well, but my burger was really great, and with the fries and salad beforehand, no way, I was very full and happy. 😃😋 But I wasn't the only one; the restaurant was very busy. If you're with more than 3-4 people, it's best to make a reservation in advance; it can't hurt. The service was fast, friendly, and competent. Great, that's what guests like.👍 We've already made reservations for the Christmas party, with plenty of tapas. Because they're beyond reproach there, too.😃🥳👍

Rating delivery service: Tapas Box has a good price-performance ratio, as you can also take the more expensive meat and fish tapas. Tapas delicious. Things were completely different when we ordered a few weeks ago. Such fluctuations in seasoning should not occur. Therefore 1 star deducted. Pizza was also very tasty last time, although different than at the Italian restaurant, which is what you can also expect from the Spanish restaurant. Addition: We ordered again. This time with a fixed time for the next day. Unfortunately it was delivered a total of 50 minutes later than agreed. When I asked about it after about 30 minutes, they initially couldn't find my order. Then the confirmation that the food was on the way. Unfortunately it was all cold. I have no idea where my delivery was temporarily stored for so long. Too bad. That was probably my last order there because we weren't satisfied in 2 out of 3 cases. This time the rice wasn't too spicy. However, I deducted another star for the late delivery and the cold food. By the way, I also find the sauces, apart from the pesto, a bit boring and the aioli too much like mayonnaise.

As a guest at El Toro, yes, OK, you can do it, you don't have to. The ambience is very nice and actually invites you to have a relaxing evening. The service, on the other hand, made a very relaxed impression that evening. Reservations for three people took a long time to get our reservation, finally we were shown to a table, but it wasn't supposed to be and we went to another table. This situation could be observed with other guests throughout the evening. This had an impact on the mood of the service staff, who were always bitching at each other. The main courses served were all really good and tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly. The tapas, on the other hand, were mediocre at best. Rounded off by two Alsters where the filling mark was clearly not reached, we decided not to repeat the evening at El Toro. In terms of price, the El Toro is in the upper league, but in our opinion this is not really justified as the price level of some market competitors in Bremen is lower but the performance is significantly better.

When we visited at the end of November 2024, we received a very friendly welcome and the very best service throughout the evening. It couldn't have been done better. Even though the restaurant was full, everything went quite quickly. Apparently there is also takeaway food available. The terrace was decorated for a Christmas chillout. Unfortunately, the food there seemed just average to me. Organization of the team around the restaurant wasn't great either. It's a shame... there's still room for improvement...

Very nice and competent service person. She was able to advise on gluten-free dishes off the cuff. The food came quickly and tasted very good, delicately seasoned. Since we sat at the very edge, the ambience impression suffered. We'll definitely be back.

War mit einer Gruppe von 16 Personen dort und hatten Essen vorbestellt. Ich hatte eine Vorspeise. Mein Getränk wurde leider vergessen - kann passieren. Dann kamen irgendwann 3-4 Speisen, das war es dann. Damit diese nicht kalt wurden, fingen diese Personen dann schon mal an. Als diese dann fertig waren, kamen dann auch die anderen Speisen. DAS geht schon mal gar nicht, Planung/Organisation also schon mal 0 Sterne. Dann brauche ich auch nicht im Voraus zu bestellen! Wenn meine Sitznachbarin nicht schon mit ihrem Essen fertig gewesen wäre, hätte ich auch meinen Vorspeisenteller nicht abstellen können, der vorher NICHT abgeräumt wurde und auch nicht als das Essen geliefert wurde. Auch das Abräumen der Teller von der Hauptspeise dauerte doch m.E. sehr! lange. Nebenbei bemerkt hatte ich mich auf den "Kabeljau auf der Haut gebraten" gefreut - aber warum liegt er dann auf dem Teller mit der Haut in der Soße und ist somit weich und hatte auch keinerlei Röstaromen. Auch der Sangria, verdient nicht wirklich diesen Namen. Marginaler Weingeschmack und eher wässrig - nach Auflösung der Eiswürfel nur noch rot gefärbtes Wasser. Alles in allem, ich kenne wirklich diverse bessere Restaurants!

Went there with a group of 16 people and had pre-ordered food. I had an appetizer. Unfortunately my drink was forgotten - that can happen. Then at some point 3-4 dishes came and that was it. So that they didn't get cold, these people started. When these were ready, the other dishes came too. THAT doesn't work at all, so planning/organization is 0 stars. Then I don't have to order in advance! If the person sitting next to me hadn't already finished her meal, I wouldn't have been able to put down my appetizer plate, which was NOT cleared beforehand and wasn't even delivered when the food was delivered. In my opinion, clearing the plates from the main course also took a long time! long. By the way, I was looking forward to the "cod fried on the skin" - but then why is it on the plate with the skin in the sauce and is therefore soft and had no roasted aromas whatsoever. The sangria doesn't really deserve that name either. Marginal wine taste and rather watery - after the ice cubes have dissolved, only red-colored water remains. All in all, I really know several better restaurants in this direction!
