L'Angolo d'Italia in Leipzig

Wir standen am Samstag zu später Stunde vor der Tür und fragten, ob wir noch etwas zu essen bekommen könnten. Der Kellner, der uns empfing war wahnsinnig freundlich, sagte „natürlich“ und bot uns einen Platz an. All unsere Fragen zu den Gerichten hat er uns toll beantwortet. Wir hatten zwei Gerichte von der saisonalen Karte, einmal die Trüffel Gnocchi mit Kürbissahnesauce und die Spaghetti Pavarotti mit Scampis und Pilzen. Und was soll ich sagen? Wir haben selten so gut gegessen. Es war göttlich und auch zwei perfekte Portionen zum satt werden. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Super Küche, frisch, heiß köstlich. Hervorragende Qualität Und vor allem, sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service. Danke an alle Kellner und Kellnerinnen. Es gab wirklich viel zu tun, und dennoch war Zeit für freundliche Worte. Zum Schluss einen Grappa auf Wunsch. Ich italienische Gastfreundschaft, was würde die hiesige Gaststättenlandschaft ohne ausländische ( oder inzwischen eingebürgerte) Fachleute machen, die noch wissen, wie das geht mit Gastfreundschaft. Danke, war ein schöner Abend, unter den Bäumen…

My food was really tasty. Meat, nice chunk, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and cooked to perfection. Plus chanterelles and pasta with a delicious sauce. Unfortunately I don't live in Leipzig, otherwise I would be here more often from now on!

Very friendly staff. We got a table straight away even though we hadn't reserved. The restaurant was busy at this point. We then decided on pizza 🍕, which is really highly recommended. Gladly again when we are in Leipzig.🥰

There were three of us here, the atmosphere is great, you can sit outside and have a good chat. I would pre-order because, like ours, it was very busy on a Saturday. The food was very tasty, I only have two things to complain about, the gnocchi were unfortunately the typical stuffed convenience gnocchi, a shame. And the tiramisu tasted nothing like coffee but only like chocolate sauce and, unlike the original, it was too creamy. The bruschetta was also really good, too little garlic for my taste, but that's just a matter of taste. Otherwise it was very tasty. The service was also super nice and accommodating. We were there for the first time - but definitely not the last :) Price-performance is really great and the food was very tasty. We really want to try pizza and pasta and look forward to our next visit. It makes sense to reserve a table, even on a Monday evening the restaurant was almost completely full.

Great food! For me so far the BEST ITALIAN in Leipzig. Price is also right. The Italian flair is missing a little, no music, no Italian culture to be felt. We'd love to come back.

We were in this restaurant for the first time with guests. You will be served quickly and friendly. The food was served quickly and was excellent, truly delicious. Since the dining room is quite small, it is well filled and a bit cramped at peak times. We'll definitely be back to explore the menu further and also try the desserts. Reservation is recommended.

We were spontaneously there around lunchtime on Whit Monday and sat outside. Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. The order came quickly and tasted very good. Price/performance fits.

The food is good, not the best Italian restaurant in leipzig, but prices are also not that high. Good value for money. The waiters were nice, I was there 2-3 times. Unfortunately, paper for hands in the toilet was missing. Overall a nice place in that region.

Super sweet service and lovely food, clean and tidy

Everything we've eaten so far has been absolutely perfect. Visited at least once every month and never disappointed. No matter how crowded it was, we never had to wait longer than 20 minutes. The service is top, the prices for the portions, the taste, the quality and the freshness are unbeatable. The map is manageable, which makes it very easy even for those who are undecided.

Got home and my pizza box was dripping with grease

Unfriendly reception by a quite young waiter, condescending and unprofessional. If we weren't in the group, we would have left the restaurant. We won't be coming back...

Go preferably during non Peak times for noise.

this is a tragedy. The food is terrible. the interior is cheap. even the menu is poorly printed. and now in order. When I write on the Internet - Italian egg soup, why are the photos so different from the nonsense you offer people. The salad is also bad. You just threw in a bunch of vegetables, they don’t even go together. lasagna is good. The waiters are too pushy when offering drinks. After all, I already asked for the bill, why are you offering me alcohol? Do you have a sales plan? Maybe. The interior of the toilet is terrible. Even at the station sometimes it looks better. Painted curtains? seriously? And the menu. Did you seriously take a sheet of paper and write down the names of the dishes with a pen? We should have left when we first saw it.

Best risotto ever I was at L'Angolo last week. The daily menu included “saffron risotto with scampi and caviar”. The risotto was the best I've ever had. The rice to the point, i.e. with a small final bite, the consistency creamy but not soupy, the whole thing built up into a nice little mountain. The taste is incomparably good, probably with a lot of overcooked garlic, also a nice spiciness, I suspect white pepper. Lots of scampi in the rice (if you don't like that, you should order it without the scampi - L'Angolo is always happy to accommodate special requests - I've never heard the typical German "It doesn't work!" there.) The whole thing is decorated some red and black "caviar", but you can hardly taste it. - Dear L'Angolo team: you should always offer this dish, perhaps also in the version without scampi. In any case, I was happy to pay around 20 euros for the dish.

We were there on 01/21/24 Eat here . The food was tasty and the ambience was okay too. The service was a disaster. The young man who served us It was very unfriendly, we had the feeling that we weren't wanted there. He was very unprofessional and he seemed very irritable.

Very, very nice staff, fulfilled every wish. The food was bombastic, very, very tasty, the wine was mhhhh. The grappa was very strong but very good. We went there at short notice and managed to get a table despite having a full reservation. (with time limit)

A small but very fine Italian restaurant on the Karli. The main course was great, the service was very friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The only point of criticism was the dessert (tiramisu), I've eaten better. Otherwise it's a great shop, I'll be back again!

This is how you imagine an evening at an Italian restaurant. Despite a bit of Italian arrogance (that's just part of it), warm and courteous service. The food is extremely delicious.

Nichts zu bemängeln. Klassische italienische Küche. Uns vieren hat es allen gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und die Preise waren in Ordnung. Gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen, allerdings auch nichts außergewöhnliches. Die Bruscetta sind leider nicht zu empfehlen, da ungewürzt und auch komplett ohne Zwiebeln, was da aus meiner Sicht dazugehört. Die anderen Gerichte waren dagegen absolut durch die Bank weg gut. Die Pizza ist echt gut! Trotzdem ein klassischer Italiener mit Charm und Ambiente. Die Lage des Ladens in einem Objekt, wo man auf beiden Seiten sozusagen Fenster hat, gefällt mir richtig gut... Der Service war gut, hätte zeitweise etwas schneller sein können. Alles in allem ein solides Erlebnis, was man sich auf jeden Fall Mal anschauen kann. 7,5/10 would recommend.

Das Essen war wunderbar und wir hatten draußen einen Tisch. Das Bier war gut, der Limoncello war auch sehr lecker und die Preise waren auch sehr gut!

Die Pizza war sehr, sehr gut. Der Service hatte teilweise arge Probleme, den fehlenden Enthusiasmus zu verschleiern.

Wir waren soweit zufrieden. Sind durch die Happy Diner Card auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Ambiente war ganz schön. Essen war auch gut.

Pizza gut, Rand sehr kompakt, Belag lecker. Tiramisu enttäuschend – ertränkt in Alkohol und dadurch Konsistenz viel zu weich und nass.

Leckeres Essen. Ein bisschen Salz hat für mich dran gefehlt, aber das ist nicht schlimm, da ja nicht jeder gleich viel Salz essen darf, da ist nachsalzen überhaupt kein Problem. Für einen Sonntag Abend war man offenbar etwas dünn besetzt, denn man musste schon länger als durchschnittlich auf Getränke und auf die Rechnung warten, die Kellner haben aber wirklich nicht langsam gearbeitet -natürlich müssen erstmal die warmen Speisen an die Tische. Von daher nicht perfekt, aber ich würde wieder hingehen.

Der Service war angenehm,freundlich und aufmerksam.Am Ambiente gibt es nichts auszusetzen,besonders draußen ist es schön lebendig.Das Essen ist so,wie man es seit Jahren in jeder Stadt bekommen kann,durchschnittlich und nicht innovativ,als ob sich die italienische Küche nie verändern würde.

Ein tolles Restaurant! Super freundliches Personal, das total zuvorkommend ist und sich bemüht, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Das Essen war auch super, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Restaurant ist ein echter Geheim-Tipp! Im Gegensatz zu den vielen Touristen- Lokalen im Zentrum. Die Pasta mit Lachs und Pfifferlingen, sowie die Pizza mit Parmaschinken mit Büffel-Mozarella waren ausgezeichnet. Die Kellner sehr zuvorkommend und schnell ! Auch der Grappa danach war sehr lecker! Preis-Leistung TOP für eine Großstadt! Bestimmt schafft die Stadt Leipzig es noch, den tollen Kanal vor dem Lokal mit mehr Wasser zu füllen. Dann fühlt man sich hier fast wie in Venedig ! Ort: Nähe Haltestelle Goerdelerring - nicht zu übersehen das Gründerzeit-Haus mit den blauen Säulen. 5 Sterne !
