A very cozy Italian restaurant with good value for money. We love eating there on our regular visits to Leipzig. It's always good!

The home made pizza dough was terrible. The service was great though.

A very good pizza where you can tell that it is 100% homemade. Friendly service and the quantity for the price is excellent. If I could, I would give it 6 stars!

Came unannounced for the evening, and they immediately found a table and lit a candle. Friendly staff with a good mood and energy. Had a risotto dish with shrimp and chanterelles. Tasted really good. The wine was perhaps a little thin. But otherwise just a good experience. Can be recommended.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. There's an outdoor area, some of which are quiet. Located directly on the Karli and easily accessible by public transport. Reservations are recommended.

Delicious pasta and friendly service. The waitress could check on you more often, but if you can order it, it's delivered quickly. Unfortunately, there's currently a construction site there, which blocks access.

Highly recommended! We sat in the back booth and were nice and undisturbed, not in the middle of things. The bruschetta was very good and the pizza divine. Just the right balance between crispy and soft, and it stayed warm for a long time. Without exception, everyone on the service team was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary digestif made the evening perfect! We've never had such delicious grappa!!! We'll definitely be back!

We were there for the first time on June 12th at lunchtime, but we'd be happy to come back if we ever come to Leipzig again! Very attentive, friendly waiters, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Lovingly decorated, the food was first-class, earning many stars. Greetings from "the Maestro," perhaps you remember.

This is the BEST Italian restaurant I have been to during my 10-day travelling in Germany. The food is delicious, with large portion (lots of seafood in my seafood pasta, compared with the other Italian restaurants in Germany I had been to), and hot when it was served (I can see the steam rising from the dish). Very professional and kind waiters with warm service. The ambience in the restaurant is great too. Prices are reasonable. It is a pity that tonight is my last night in Leipzig, otherwise I would certainly dine there again during my stay here. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I've been to this restaurant many times now, and I have to say I'm absolutely thrilled. The food tastes fantastic, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are very friendly, and I like both the location and the ambiance! :) The owner of the restaurant is always happy to greet you personally. Sometimes I wonder if he'll remember me on my return visits, he's so friendly. :) I can especially recommend the spaghetti aglio e olio and the tiramisu. Simply heavenly! I've been there with my partner, friends, and work colleagues, and everyone felt very comfortable. I'd love to go back! :)

Good Italian cuisine that goes beyond the usual pizza and pasta offerings

The restaurant is located on a corner, has a fairly spacious interior and a decent amount of seating outside. The staff is very polite and attentive and has its own dress code (which in turn adds charm and presentability). The food is very tasty, beautifully presented and served quickly. The coffee is excellent and the tiramisu is divine. The prices are very pleasant. We recommend)

The restaurant looks good but the boss waiter is rude to his customers that's why I don't recommend this langolo restaurant outside the other waiters are good only the boss is arrogant THEREFORE RECOMMENDATION 0.

We asked for a seat as we had seen a table for four that we wanted to sit at. So I sat down at another table at the back with two chairs. Then the waiter, who called himself the boss, came and said that he decides where the guests can sit. I then said why the table is for two people and is not reserved. He said he is the boss and he decides where we sit and not the customer. We were very rudely asked to leave. I've never experienced anything so disrespectful. I therefore cannot recommend Langolo. I've been there twice before and sat outside - the waiter was very friendly and polite back then. But this time the tone was completely inappropriate. Just because someone says they're the boss shouldn't mean they treat guests that way. We left the restaurant. I want him to apologize to us.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I was in a restaurant and witnessed the boss being very rude to a guest. The guests had chosen a table but were not allowed to sit down there. They then looked for another free table - this one wasn't reserved either. Nevertheless, the boss said in a rude tone that they weren't allowed to choose a seat themselves because he decided where the guests sat - after all, he was the boss. His behavior was so disrespectful that the two guests ultimately had to leave the restaurant. That's not how you treat attractive people, especially women. I don't recommend this Langolo restaurant especially when the boss is there.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The food and service are absolutely recommended. The service and boss are very friendly and competent. Even when things are busy, you don't have to wait hours for your food. In summer it is nice to dine outside thanks to the outdoor seating. In the winter it's unfortunately far too crowded and too loud inside, so it's not that pleasant. But otherwise L'Angelo is highly recommended.

A very nice restaurant, very lively. Prices are perfectly reasonable, with pizzas costing €10-14 or carbonara €12.50. The taste of three different pasta dishes was incredibly good.

It was our first time in this busy restaurant and we felt at home right from the start. The welcome was warm and drinks and food were served quickly. The food was fresh, very tasty and in pleasant portions. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly service, always present but never intrusive. An all-round successful evening. The food was mixed, we had everything from pretty good to below average. Prices very okay. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is beautifully located with lots of natural light. The toilets are a disgrace.

A very nice restaurant. Not only is the location and ambience beautiful, the food was also of excellent quality. Very tasty and truly Italian. I had a pizza with Parma ham and rocket and my wife had penne with gorgonzola sauce. We were both thrilled. We can only recommend this restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice table. Because of the large windows on the left and right, you almost feel like you're sitting in a piazza. It's wonderful all this light and the hustle and bustle on the street. Thank you for this beautiful experience.

The restaurant is highly recommended. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and inviting, as there are not too many tables. The staff was very friendly, courteous and always attentive. The food was very tasty. Especially the pizza bread, as well as the tagliatelle with fillet tips and the lasagna with salmon are highly recommended. We would definitely come back :).

We were on a trip to Leipzig as a group of two and then spontaneously asked a friend of ours who lives in Leipzig if he had a recommendation for us. He then referred us to this restaurant and we have to say that we are very impressed. As soon as we entered we were greeted very friendly and with a suitable pinch of humor. We were shown the tables that had not yet been reserved and the menus were brought to us immediately. The atmosphere is very pleasant and well designed. The price-performance ratio is unparalleled, so I only paid €7.50 for a pizza that was normally charged €10 in the size it was served at delivery pizzerias. This one also tasted fabulous compared to others. The service is very friendly and attentive and always ready should you have any requests. When we wanted to leave, they thanked us - we could only reciprocate for the great food - and said goodbye in a very friendly manner with a handshake. If we are in Leipzig again we will be happy to come back.

A very nice little Italian restaurant that we discovered on the tram ride to our hotel. The two of us came on Saturday evening without a reservation and were lucky to get the last available table. The people there are super nice and quick, despite the place being packed. The food tastes really good, there are decent portions, not too much, but not too little either, at very decent prices. The Aperol and the Pinot Grigio were also very tasty. Absolutely recommended, great value for money

We were in Leipzig for the first time. The service was very good and warm,9 you can have a personal conversation and we will come back.

We stood at the door late on Saturday and asked if we could get something to eat. The waiter who welcomed us was incredibly friendly, said “of course” and offered us a seat. He answered all of our questions about the dishes very well. We had two dishes from the seasonal menu, the truffle gnocchi with pumpkin cream sauce and the spaghetti Pavarotti with scampi and mushrooms. And what can I say? We have rarely eaten so well. It was divine and also two perfect portions to fill you up. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.

Wir standen am Samstag zu später Stunde vor der Tür und fragten, ob wir noch etwas zu essen bekommen könnten. Der Kellner, der uns empfing war wahnsinnig freundlich, sagte „natürlich“ und bot uns einen Platz an. All unsere Fragen zu den Gerichten hat er uns toll beantwortet. Wir hatten zwei Gerichte von der saisonalen Karte, einmal die Trüffel Gnocchi mit Kürbissahnesauce und die Spaghetti Pavarotti mit Scampis und Pilzen. Und was soll ich sagen? Wir haben selten so gut gegessen. Es war göttlich und auch zwei perfekte Portionen zum satt werden. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Es gab wirklich viel zu tun, und dennoch war Zeit für freundliche Worte. Zum Schluss einen Grappa auf Wunsch. Ich italienische Gastfreundschaft, was würde die hiesige Gaststättenlandschaft ohne ausländische ( oder inzwischen eingebürgerte) Fachleute machen, die noch wissen, wie das geht mit Gastfreundschaft. My food was really tasty. Meat, nice chunk, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and cooked to perfection. Plus chanterelles and pasta with a delicious sauce. Unfortunately I don't live in Leipzig, otherwise I would be here more often from now on!

There were three of us here, the atmosphere is great, you can sit outside and have a good chat. I would pre-order because, like ours, it was very busy on a Saturday. The food was very tasty, I only have two things to complain about, the gnocchi were unfortunately the typical stuffed convenience gnocchi, a shame. And the tiramisu tasted nothing like coffee but only like chocolate sauce and, unlike the original, it was too creamy. The bruschetta was also really good, too little garlic for my taste, but that's just a matter of taste. Otherwise it was very tasty. The service was also super nice and accommodating.
