This is a typical Italian restaurant that serves pasta, burgers, pizza, lasagna, bruschetta, schnitzel... and fries gluten-free upon request, and also with vegan cheese! The chef and staff are knowledgeable about gluten-free issues and contamination in the kitchen! They are currently working on gluten-free certification. But most importantly, the food tastes really good! The gluten-free substitutes are imported from Italy; they aren't available here at all. I discovered it for myself after my girlfriend (who also has celiac disease) has been going here for years and has had no problems. The staff is friendly, competent, and even during peak times, they pay attention to contamination. I haven't had such a delicious gluten-free selection in a long time! Everything is also available to takeout or for large groups. Definitely recommended!

A wonderful Italian restaurant! We ordered pizza and a mojito – both were simply delicious. The pizza had a crispy crust, a moist filling, and was perfectly seasoned – one of the best we've ever had. The mojito was refreshing, well-balanced, and delicious. The service was excellent: fast, friendly, and with a smile. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – we'll be back. This place is awesome! The people are so kind and the food is great. They have a wide selection of food and treats. They played the best music! I went two days in a row. The second day we showed up 20 minutes before close and halfway expecting for them to be closing. They were happy to cook for us and told us we could come back anytime. Wonderful place. If I lived in Leipzig, I would 100% be a regular!!

I'm currently stationed near Leipzig for work, and I've already eaten at this pizzeria four times in two 15-day periods, and I've been very satisfied each time. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly, despite the language barrier. I'll definitely come back again.

An excellent coeliac friendly restaurant which has much more than fast food but the GF pizzas are very good and so are the chips. They have just got their Coeliac suitable accreditation With a highly sensitive coeliac in the family this is essential for us. The staff are knowledgeable and speak multiple languages. Germany isn't an easy country for travelling coeliacs/celiacs but this place means that Leipzig is a lot easier and we can be a bit spontaneous. The food is also extremely good if you aren't celiac. Don't miss the Turkish coffee with cardamom, ask for it to be cooked to ensure it doesn't come out of the machine and you won't be sorry. It's gorgeous.

They're certified gluten-free and serve gluten-free pizza, lasagna, pasta, and schnitzel. Really delicious and friendly. Always happy to come back.

An Italian restaurant with many gluten-free options. The place has a certificate that ensures that the dishes are gluten-free. We ate fresh vegetable soup that was rich and delicious. A hamburger with a gluten-free bun that was delicious and pizza, the pizza dough is thin, crispy and very tasty. The service was very polite. I enjoyed it very much and recommend the place. I will definitely come back.

A funny conversation while ordering Coca Cola, when the language barrier came into play. 😀 Yes, Cola Original really exists, but Cola Zero is not fake, it's just flavors (original recipe, zero recipe). If you are in Leipzig, be sure to stop here. Great gluten-free pizza (also pasta and burgers), very friendly environment. When there is no time for lunch, they also have the option of taking pizza with them from the counter. Speed, quality, and above all, they care about customers first and foremost, you don't see that much anymore. Overall a great impression.

Today was our first time at Il Corso and we definitely won't be waiting long for our next visit because it was simply delicious. My son has to eat gluten-free and in no other restaurant in Leipzig has he had such a large selection of gluten-free dishes and it was really delicious. Visitors with celiac disease are in great hands in this restaurant. The host was very friendly and explained the gluten-free preparation and the origin of the gluten-free products wonderfully. I had a gluten free burger and was very satisfied. There is also pizza and pasta without gluten. As a person affected, you can eat here with a good feeling. Thank you very much. Gluten-free paradise for celiacs! The restaurant specializes in celiacs. All dishes are gluten-free. The boss is well versed in the topic of cross-contamination and has separate kitchen areas for gluten-containing and gluten-free dishes. They buy the pasta, citizen rolls etc. in Italy, so they don't come from Schär, Hammermühle & Co. They really make an effort. This is definitely not a snack bar, but a small, fine restaurant. The boss also responded well to our children's wishes. The food tasted good and we tolerated it well. Highly recommended!

We had two gluten-free pizzas and were lucky at the same time because it wasn't that busy and we were able to talk to the owner of the restaurant in great detail. He and his employees are extremely trained and informed, they pay attention to the separation of GF and GH and he was able to assure me that they take the issue of gluten-free seriously. There is an extra oven and an extra deep fryer for gluten-free fries. He carefully selects all the products he serves and pays attention to taste and quality. Pasta and burger buns come from Italy, the pizza base is homemade and really delicious - crispy in the middle, very thin and without that feeling of eating half a loaf of bread. In principle, almost all dishes on the menu are gluten-free and sometimes there is homemade, gluten-free crème brulee We felt very safe with celiac disease and went home feeling completely relaxed and happy.

A very good restaurant with a large selection of gluten-free products! I ordered a pizza and haven't had a pizza that was this good since switching. I can only recommend it to everyone. And you're happy to pay a small extra charge for that. Friendly staff, thank you for the lovely evening. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

Found by chance. We wanted to have something on hand. Grilled steak sandwich - a dream! Fluffy and yet somehow crunchy bread, super tender meat, great cheese sauce! Pizza with mushrooms very tasty! Thin, crispy base, plenty of toppings, not too greasy. And the price is really good at 14 euros. A little treasure in the center!

I've been gluten intolerant for a year and a half, and since then, Il Corso has been my first port of call for pizza and pasta. The gluten-free pizzas are incredibly delicious with homemade dough; the regular pizzas are every bit as good. I'd almost say you can't taste the difference. The owner is very attentive, super friendly, and always willing to chat to help him improve his gluten-free philosophy. He tries to accommodate all requests. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially if you have issues with gluten. It gives you back a bit of your quality of life. The pasta dishes are also truly delicious. We enjoy going there any time.

We happened to stop at Il Corso on Friday evening. The restaurant is very attractively decorated. Great ambience. We are still thrilled: service was top and the food, first of all bruschetta, then stone oven pizza salmon with spinach and as dessert a homemade tiramisu, a dream. Not only is the food great, we also really enjoyed the hospitality and friendly, warm manner there. We are thrilled and will be happy to eat at Il Corso again when we are here in Leipzig. Highly recommended without reservation.

I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The pizza was incredibly tasty - the dough was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and rich. I especially liked the tomato sauce. The service was also super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and you immediately feel at home. Food was quick, cheap, super tasty. Both ordered sandwiches, which were large and fresh. Fries also delicious. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the piano music loop. A single song played the entire hour. But the delicious food was worth it!

We Berliners spontaneously went to dinner today with 2 eating kids and a baby. A cute restaurant, warm, cozy, a bit limited space for families with strollers, but we found a good solution. The staff was super friendly! The order, including several special requests, was served completely, correctly and hot after a short time. The glasses were very well filled and we thought the prices for the drinks were great. Our pizzas had plenty of toppings, were tasty and not too greasy. The gluten-free pasta was very well received by the kids. We all left the restaurant full, happy and with a good feeling about the price (76 euros for 4 people, one dish + drink each) and will definitely come back when we are in Leipzig. Reservations during peak times are recommended. The only small drawback for families with babies: there is no changing facility. I was able to change diapers in the stroller in the toilet anteroom. For me there is NO reason to deduct a point from the rating. But it should be taken into account. A folding wall changing mat would be great. Seemed a bit unmotivated. I then had to get the map etc. myself. The pizza only took 10 minutes - but of course it didn't taste anything special.

The portions should be considerably larger given the prices, but it tastes extremely good.

I ordered some pasta from IlCorso yesterday and explained that it had to be gluten-free because I have celiac disease. I was assured that this wasn't a problem at all and explained how the pasta was specially prepared. I felt very safe and understood and was taken 100% seriously. The pasta was great and certainly gluten-free (I would definitely have noticed otherwise.) I will definitely eat here every time I'm in Leipzig and I'm really excited to try the pizza! :)

Had dinner there for the first time today with three children. We became aware of the pizzeria because of the sign on the sidewalk that said: Gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately one of our children cannot tolerate gluten. Super nice service!!! And what's more, not only was there gluten-free pizza, but everything else that was listed on the menu was also offered as gluten-free!!! Which is completely normal in Italy and a rarity in Germany! Our daughter's pizza tasted just as fantastic gluten-free as our regular pizza! Our son ordered a “sandwich”. Which was huge and filled with our own sauce. Really great!!! And the staff so warm and friendly! We'll definitely be back!

A gluten-free paradise! I found the pizzeria thanks to Google research. The owner was incredibly warm and helpful. There are a lot of gluten-free dishes. I chose a gluten-free pizza. When it comes to gluten-free pizza, I'm always worried that it's such a terribly thick ready-made pizza dough. But that wasn't the case. The pizza tasted great. Absolutely recommended!

Three burgers, they were in a hurry and asked how long it would take to wait for an answer, 10 minutes. As a result, we were late everywhere!!!(((45 minutes of waiting.

To be honest, I don't understand the 4.7 stars. Ordered for the first time today. Tagliatelle with shrimp - there were no shrimp in it, but scampi. Unfortunately, this is mislabeling. Unfortunately it wasn't seasoned at all. Pasta Bolognese - you had to look for the meat with a magnifying glass. Tiramisu: more like a cake, hardly any cream, coffee taste is completely missing Bruschetta: Tomatoes weren't fresh. All in all, unfortunately not recommended.

Super delicious food! Gluten-free was possible without any problems, in every variant you could imagine (pasta, pizza, schnitzel, burgers,...). The owner was very warm and approachable. They put a lot of effort into making it suitable for celiacs. From the outside it looks very much like a diner. But the food is top notch. Appropriate prices for very filling food.

This place was a positive surprise! We were welcomed by the staff with smiling faces and genuine friendliness. The atmosphere was very relaxing, a bit of personal touches with the decour but it felt overall cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the calm music, and not crowded ar all. I ordered a burger. Something for small appetites, lots of salad, meat ok, buns slightly touched, but the sauce is really good. The drink was a smoothie that tasted just as heavenly. I sat outside and the sparrows were the only thing that annoyed me. absolutely to suggest

For me it is always a pleasure to be able to eat here. The pizza has a perfect amount of cheese and sauce and is therefore perfectly balanced. The employees always put a smile on my face. Went there specifically because of the gluten-free dishes on offer. An extra charge of €5 per dish is charged, which is a disgrace! In addition, the gluten-free schnitzel didn't taste good at all. Then we waited forever for the other food with the excuse that the oven was broken. Sure, for some spaghetti and a lasagna. It arrived late in tiny portions, which again wasn't really tasty. The employees there would rather type away on their smartphones than provide service. Conclusion: Never again!!!
