I celebrated my bachelorette party at the Landhotel am Rothenberg – and it couldn't have been more beautiful! The stunning location in the middle of nature immediately puts you in a relaxed mood, and our holiday home was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and perfectly equipped. The culinary experience was a highlight: The food was delicious, creative, and far from the mainstream. The drinks were also top-notch – the owner, Kevin, even mixed me my favorite drink even though it wasn't on the menu. 🍹 This heartfelt gesture is just one example of many other thoughtful touches. The spa area is beautiful: a natural pool, various saunas, a variety of infusions and scrubs – simply perfect for unwinding. And then there were those special touches like bathing in the excavator bucket – unique and unforgettable! A huge thank you to Kevin, who, with his warm and humorous manner, his attentiveness, and his perfect sense of atmosphere, was just the right host for our bachelorette party. The entire team was also very friendly and attentive. The Landhotel am Rothenberg offers so much variety—whether for couples, families, groups, or business travelers. For me, it was an all-around perfect experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend! 🤍

We celebrated a girls' bachelorette party there and had an absolutely fantastic day! Kevin and his team took incredible care of us and actively contributed to the great atmosphere. No wish went unfulfilled, and everything was made possible, all at a very fair price! The spa area and the garden are beautiful and absolutely exceptional. Our chalet was perfect, with great rooms, everything clean and well-maintained, and a lovely terrace overlooking the greenery. The food at La Cantina was not only absolutely delicious, but the open kitchen with live cooking also made it a real experience. We had so much fun and an unforgettable girls' trip! We will definitely come back.

We spent a 3-day short trip here with our dog and are absolutely in love 🥰 For us personally, the remote location of this truly sprawling hotel complex is an absolute dream, as we simply love to go hiking and enjoy nature. The paradise garden, which has been created over decades, was, of course, the ABSOLUTE highlight for my garden-enthusiastic husband. The staff and owners are all super friendly, helpful, and exude a family-like, feel-good vibe. The food was fresh and changed daily. Our room with a balcony was quite small, but absolutely sufficient for us and, above all, VERY CLEAN 😊 The next wonderful highlight is the wellness area, which is even open until 11 p.m., which we did 😘 ♥️ We will definitely be back!!! ♥️♥️♥️

A definite recommendation, no matter your age! Upon arrival, I was a bit apprehensive because it's so remote. But that's okay. It's beautifully nestled in nature. The staff is friendly and has a great sense of humor and heart. The food is absolutely delicious, and the program is surprisingly unforgettable. There's something for every taste. A special insider tip: the wellness area! All in all, highly recommended. I'll never forget this special long weekend.

Four of us stayed here for a four-day short break. The hotel is beautifully situated in the countryside. The surrounding garden is a botanical eye-catcher. The wellness area is very nice and a great place to relax. The food is excellent, whether it's the Argentinian evening or the buffets in the restaurant; everything is delicious and well organized, so there's no rush or waiting in line. The main course is served separately. The service was excellent from the start. From check-in to the wonderful and cheerful welcome from chef Kevin, to the waitresses Inge and Johanna, and the waiter Patrick. We have rarely met such nice people. As a mechanic who has worked in over 2,000 hotels, I have to say I've never seen anything comparable. It was fantastic across the board, topped off with excellent service. I'll be back, probably for a short break.

An internal company workshop took me to Uslar. I arrived, headed for the workshop, the rooms weren't ready yet, and headed to the back of the hotel – boom, I was in another world, in the middle of a beautifully landscaped garden, with outdoor dining – fantastic!!! I was thrilled. I checked into my room, partially renovated, a bit dated, with a modern bathroom, but clean, very satisfied! So, now for the evening: Arriving at the restaurant, I have to say that there's so much attention to detail here, I wouldn't have guessed it. The chef's explanation of what we were about to embark on, a culinary explosion inspired by Argentinian cuisine… I don't even know how to explain it: The chefs are passionate about food, I was overwhelmed, the food was amazing! The variety of flavors, the meat cooked to perfection – all I can say is: Try it! I never would have expected such a fantastic restaurant here. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars. Keep up the good work!!! Thank you so much!

Very friendly, attentive staff, great food, and an even better, absolutely personable dinner presentation by Hendrik and Azzbine. The sauna area was fantastic, and the "canteen" was very imaginatively and comfortably decorated...we'll be back in November for the line dance weekend and are looking forward to it!

Wonderfully located, paradisiacal garden plants everywhere, comfortable seating everywhere, all the staff are very friendly and also very child-friendly, we spontaneously asked for lunch in the afternoon and even got some - of the highest quality.

Actually, everything was fine, but it was too crowded for my taste, and the price/performance ratio wasn't right for me. The three of us paid €258 for a double room with a sofa bed. The sink was in the room, and the shower/toilet weren't properly enclosed by the sliding door. Sorry, even though everything is relatively new, but this is too much.

We were there at the beginning of June 2025. Our house was Christina, a well-maintained, well-equipped house for 10 adults. A fantastic spa area, super-attentive staff, and the owner himself is on hand to help. We felt truly at home and would love to come back... Keep up the good work.

Great wellness. I'm not surprised by anything in hotels. But the wellness, which is included in the price of the room, is amazing. You can find more in the video. The rooms are quite standard. Cleanliness very good. Beds: I have two beds and one is soft and one is hard, so everyone can choose. Keys are issued automatically after the reception closes based on the code you receive. If there is a problem, there is a phone right above the machine where someone is always available to give you advice.

We had a very good meal here and had a lovely evening!

We traveled as a couple and had the premium room, room is only recommended, booking half board pays off and the food was incredibly delicious. Massage excellent and the highlight was the bath in the excavator bucket. The employees, no matter in which area, are warm, friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and didn't miss anything. Here the boss and family still work themselves and with a lot of passion and, above all, motivation. Great, keep it up, Kevin, you too, otherwise I'll send you a Ronny ;-)

I've been here several times but the services leave something to be desired every time. I was charged for cleaning even though it is a hotel so I assume cleaning is included. It's not my job to take care of it. When I booked, I assumed that cleaning would be done as a matter of course. After all, it is a hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay began with some difficulties. We had originally booked a villa which turned out to be far too small for our group. The beds were very close together which greatly affected comfort - it felt like a camping experience. After consulting with the hotel, we were able to exchange the villa, which was positive, but unfortunately the difference in price between the two villas was not refunded to us. We found this disappointing as we would have expected that we would be treated as regular customers, which is true as we have been there several times. Our stay in the other villa was fine overall but unfortunately there was a problem upon departure. We were charged an additional cleaning fee because the toilets were a bit unclean after 6 days. I understand that cleanliness is important, but the fee seemed disproportionate to us and we would have liked the hotel to be more transparent about such costs. The staff was otherwise friendly and the rooms were comfortable. Nevertheless, the additional fee leaves a bitter aftertaste, which is why this stay would have been the last time for us.

I was there for the first time at the weekend - it was recommended to me because a few boys celebrated their bachelor party there - I've lived in the region for almost 25 years and didn't know it... What a fatal mistake! We are a sauna family and have celebrated all family events (since Göttingen is right in the middle of all of us) mostly in the Vital Spa Freizeit In, in retrospect what a banal mistake, the Landhotel Rothenberg is about 25 minutes away from Göttingen - I have to Just to mention, I grew up, more or less, in the Vital Spa, my daddy was a member for over 20 years - it's definitely worth the short trip! Here, hospitality is written in the biggest letters that I know of (my sister works in the most expensive hotel in Hamburg and I didn't feel a bit less perfectly served). They completely conveyed the message that we should feel at home and as a VIP at the same time! I received it as a birthday present, we smoked our economy room for a premium (10€ plus/per category - it's almost a joke). This family-run hotel sets standards that can rarely be surpassed. My sister is vegan. They said there were always vegan alternatives - she was offered such a delicious menu that I was almost (!!) jealous that I eat meat 😜 - she comes from Hamburg and thinks the restaurant would be a culinary highlight there too! The staff, we had Sandra as receptionist who demonstrated both warmth and absolute perfection, Samira in the spa who provided a wonderful introduction. Both were able to answer any questions 🥰 We'll definitely be back! After the Argentinian evening at La Cantina, we watched the episode of “My Local, Your Local” and can only agree with EVERYTHING! As I said, my sister eats vegan, our daughter Schwarz told us that some of her children are vegan or vegetarian and they have absolutely proven that this doesn't limit them in any way, on the contrary! My sister and I have decided that the next family reunion will definitely be held here, and my friends and I have decided that the next girls' night will be spent here! I discovered too late that dogs are also welcome! My conclusion, ALWAYS AGAIN! ❤️

The planning and implementation of the celebration went smoothly and with great attention to detail. The hotel rooms were also first class: stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed at the Landhotel am Rothenberg for 2 nights for a birthday party. We enjoyed our stay very much. The ambience of the hotel and the entire complex are very appealing. The location is great and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. A special highlight is Kevin, the managing director. He seemed to appear everywhere and always spread a good mood with his very humorous manner. We live about 30 minutes from the hotel and the stay was a very relaxing short break for us!

We were here for my grandma's birthday. We had small children, children, older people and a pregnant woman with us and there really was something for EVERYONE. We had a really fun bus ride, had a great meal, the kids were able to play undisturbed and we parents were able to relax too. The staff is extremely friendly and responded to each of us individually. That's really rare now. The rooms were modern and clean. We had a wonderful weekend at the Hotel am Rothenberg.

This hotel impressed me. The owners are all in a great mood and always have a relaxed, funny comment. The food in both restaurants is excellent. The breakfast buffet is super large and offers a very large selection. The rooms are well maintained and very large. Only the carpet is no longer up to date. The most popular, however, is the “city tour” in the city bus. A must for every visitor. How a quiet “village” is turned into an adventure town. Just genius. It's just fun and exciting (just the way the curves are taken here). Make yourself ready for something. Just great. Super recommended.

We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our wedding at the Hotel “Am Rothenberg”. I can't emphasize enough how perfectly everything went. From the day we decided on the location to the day we checked out, we were treated with kindness and care. Every wish on our part was made possible. The team is friendly as a whole and everyone made an effort to make this day unforgettable for us. I can only advise every bride and groom to celebrate here. You really don't have to worry about anything anymore and can enjoy your wedding to the fullest. And that starts in the preparation phase. Here you are dealing with a team of experts who are absolutely attuned to one another. Whenever we had questions in advance, they were answered promptly by the right people. The deco queen and our contact person for food and drinks simply decorated the room fantastically. Kevin the master of ceremonies really entertained our guests and directed the extensive program. Ms. Berg took over all the logistical planning with rooms etc. and there was never a single moment when we had the feeling that someone wasn't 100% passionate about this celebration. This made the whole celebration all the more beautiful for us and every one of our guests still raves about this celebration today. Many thanks to the entire team and stay as you are. As part of my employer's 40th anniversary, an evening event with around 300 people took place there, including a live band, dinner in various areas, cocktail bar, dancing, etc. In the well-known great ambience, perfect service was offered with great entertainment and first-class catering - including on-site accommodation in modern rooms and an extensive and delicious breakfast buffet. Had an event there again. It was again a great service in the “all-round worry-free package”! Price-performance absolutely top!

Last week we spent a team building day with almost 20 people in Volpriehausen-City with Kevin Schwarz and his team. What can I say? We felt picked up and cared for across the board! With the necessary charm and wit, the journey there in the double-decker was already an experience, which could then be complemented with the necessary adrenaline and sore muscles on the city tour. The lunch snack with soup and rolls, as well as a coffee machine flat rate, laid a very good foundation for the soapbox building that followed and the final race, which Marco led us through. The fun factor was further increased, including a champagne shower from the winning team... :-) After an open offer with bull riding, archery, climbing wall and badminton, we were able to try the three-course menu at La Cantina. Just the announcement from the chef made our mouths water! The words were then followed by the stunning dinner, which we were able to enjoy in the unique ambience of the restaurant. It was really top notch and left nothing to be desired for anyone. Vegetarians and vegans were generously taken into account; the gluten-free bread was just the top of the good feeling of being comprehensively looked after. At the end of the day we all had a happy grin on our faces and the good feeling that we had had a really great day. The Schwarz family's team has done everything to ensure that we have fond memories of the country hotel and you can be sure that you will see some of us again! Thanks for that!

We were at the country hotel on business and in addition to all the input and brainstorming, what can I say, I still get an endorphin rush just thinking about the stay. And even if that may sound incredibly exaggerated, thank you very much for the great ambience, an endless natural refuge, the culinary highlights, the fun factor and the constant good mood, which is quite infectious. I will not forget this conference and will hopefully come back soon. And who thinks, in the country, what should I do there? There's nothing going on there! I can't say it any other way, he has to go to Volpriehausen-City, they have a lot of surprises in store there. I'm grinning again... Thank you very much and a total recommendation!

Food and service top. Location is nice, nothing special. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the chalet rooms. The door handle to my room came straight towards me, I had to hunt for woodlice every day and they didn't want to touch the sofa because it looked really dirty. The bed was also full of lint. The equipment is fine. Renting holiday homes where you are not allowed to drink your own drinks without paying for the hotel is really a bit absurd. Unfortunately it has to stay at 3 stars. If the chalets were put into shape it would be a completely different matter.

There are many areas to enjoy with the family. Everyone is very nice and helpful 🤩❤️

The house is something special. The management does everything for the guests... food, grounds, wellness, rooms, everything is consistently geared towards the guest's well-being. La Cantina is a wonderful place to feast and perfect for ending a successful day. The newly designed wellness area is simply great. Who has ever relaxed in warm water in an excavator bucket? A great team around the bosses makes every stay a great experience!

The rooms of the hotel are housed in several separate houses, all close to each other. I particularly liked the area around the small park, where breakfast is also served in an extra building. And you should not miss this breakfast!  It's just great! After this rich and varied breakfast you should have a wonderful day. When you come back, you have to go to the spa of the hotel. From the pool and out of the sauna you have a great view over the landscape. I loved it. Also the restaurant with the small beer garden is remarkable. Especially obvious was the friendliness of the staff. That means that I can only fully recommend this place.

Vi åt här en kväll eftersom vi övernattade på hotellet. Miljön är ett stort plus, vi satt ute i en trädgård. Ett annat plus var den trevliga kyparen som som dessutom kunde några ord svenska. Vivi lärde honom också några ord. Maten är väldigt tysk, dvs ganska stabbigt och mycket. Det blir inte bättre för att det läggs 10 olika tillbehör på tallriken och dessutom två skålar bredvid.

Sehr schönes inhabergeführtes Hotel. Erst beim zweiten Blick realisiert man die Größe der Anlage. Alle Bereiche wirken gepflegt und einladend. Vielfältiges Freizeitangebot im Hotel und am Rande des Solling. Unbedingt die Rundreise mit dem Oltimerbus durch den Ort machen. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort und hatten unseren Spaß. Essen war lecker und reichhaltig. Getränkepreise auf Restaurantniveau.

Gutes Essen, auch optisch ansprechend serviert. Sehr freundliche, lockere Bedienung. Für Vegetarier war die Auswahl etwas sparsam. Ein oder zwei zusätzliche Gerichte wären schön.

We found this lovely place on Trip Advisor when staying in nearby Uslar, and it did seem like we were going to end up in someone's house we we eventually found it as it is tucked away, but worth the trek! The staff spoke perfect English and were very welcoming even though it was late in the evening when we arrived - the choice of menu and dishes was wide with something for everyone - the venison was lovely and the turkey salad was huge with freshly cooked turkey brought hot to the table. Would really really recommend a visit!

Die Möglichkeiten mit Hunden zu reisen ist nicht immer unproblematisch! Aber nicht im Landhotel am Rothenberg! Dort sind sie genauso willkommen wie Herrchen und Frauchen! In wunderschönen Zimmern und fulminantem Frühstück genießt man als Gast den Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Umgebung des Sollings!

Das Landhotel Am Rothenberg ist ein reines Familie-Unternehmen, wo man sowohl übernachten als auch sehr gut speisen kann. Es werden Tagesausflüge angeboten und ihre Spezialität sind Tagungen, auch private Seminare am Wochenende können günstig gebucht werden. Staunen Sie in das liebevoll gestaltete Gewächshaus. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch eine Fahrt mit der Doppeldecker Bus mit Fahrer Kevin, im Sommer sogar "oben ohne". Auch für Hochzeitsfeier zu empfehlen.

Gute solide Küche mit vielen frischen taten (teils aus dem eigenen Garten) regionale Wurstsorten. Liebevoll zubereitet und angerichtet. Lohnt auch zu Kaffee und Kuchen, eigene Patisserie

Wir hatten das Menu - 5 Tage während eines Seminars. Der Enthusiasmus, mit dem der Küchenchef vorstellt, was er gezaubert hat steigert die Neugier auf die Köstlichkeiten. Im Sommer mit Blüten aus dem Garten garniert war alles sehr lecker. Nicht nur der Lachs und die Hausmacherspezialitäten sind phantastisch. Auch die selbstgekochten Marmeladen und die Croissants zum Frühstück sind ein Traum. Wer dort übernachtet macht nichts verkehrt, wenn er dort essen geht.

Das Landhotel liegt im landschaftlich schönen Solling und bezaubert durch eine eine sehr gute Küche. Bemerkenswert war auch das hoch motivierte Personal! Die Versorgung unserer doch recht großen Gesellschaft lief reibungslos. Auch Sonderwünsche wurden umgehend umgesetzt!
