Can recommend the food there. Had the xxl schnitzel. Top quality and mega portion. We'll be back.

Service was just a little bit worse than normal, food was only ok, only cash (and German bankcards (no visa or master card debet cards)). It took forever to get food but those who ordered schnitzel got it fast. The rest of the customers seemed to be regulars (and they all ordered schnitzel). And the schnitzel was just ok also.

Quite nice. Food pretty good. Very friendly waitress. At one point I had my leg up on a chair, and when I realized it was there, I started to pull it off, but the waitress told me to put it back as they liked to have their guests feel at home. A bit later a manager came by and pretty brusquely said, „that can‘t be true; take your foot off my chair.“ Other than that, a good visit.

A very cozy and rustic gem away from the concrete bunkers, in the old village center of Marzahn. Very nice, humorous service, the food is delicious and the cozy atmosphere invites you to linger. Requests for changes/additions to the meal were responded to in a friendly manner and an incorrectly ordered water bottle was also exchanged. 👍

A nice place to eat with your family, even if the prices seem really high at the beginning, I can assure you that the portions are really huge, so don't be put off. We literally “walked” out of the restaurant as a ball. I can really recommend it. The service is also really good, nice waitresses who also ask what's right. All in all TOP 👍

We were not happy with the service that day. I have to say absolute disaster. The place was full, but 90 minutes for two rounds of drinks is just too long. Food was ok and came relatively quickly. I wasn't even able to get a beer directly at the bar. Maybe it was just a bad day, but a reason for us not to come back.

It was difficult for a long time, but has been subsiding quite a bit in the last few months. It has become quite expensive, but the food is a little lost on the large plates. The service tends to be a bit bad-tempered, the volume of the music borders on "wanting to drive guests away" and the cleanliness has already been defined more thoroughly. Please improve it urgently!

Wir waren am 8. März, wie seid über 20 Jahre, zur angepriesenen Frauentagsparty dort. Aber so schlecht war es noch nie. Trotz Vorreservierung und 50 € Anzahlung stand unser Tisch nicht zur Verfügung. Nach längerer Wartezeit durften wir rein. Es gab keine Tanzfläche, wie sonst. Alles war mit Tischen vollgestellt an denen noch gegessen wurde. Der DJ tat sein bestes aber wo sollte man tanzen. Wir waren enttäuscht, wie noch nie und werden uns für das nächste Jahr eine andere Alternative suchen. Seit dem Betreiberwechsel hat der Marzahner Krug sehr abgebaut. Aber unser Kellner war topp an dem Abend.

Yes, it was the first time, and I chose pike-perch fillet with potato foam, I think it was called the fillet, yes, ok, the foam was cold, so the compensation was new foam, and lo and behold, it was also cold, really sad.

If you like loud pop music, the inn is highly recommended. The service is friendly and quick and the food is tasty. The furnishings are rustic. Since we are not hit lovers, we asked that the volume be turned down to quiet background music. In our opinion, that would have been a good compromise for everyone. But the service staff vehemently rejected our request, jokingly saying that unfortunately it wasn't possible. They would be forbidden to do two things under threat of having their hands cut off: changing the heating and the music. It's a shame, because otherwise we would have liked to have dessert and a drink. But we just wanted to escape this acoustic torture as quickly as possible.

The atmosphere is very rustic and there are plenty of seating options for large and small groups. Depending on the time of day, it is attended differently. For special occasions I would recommend reserving a table. We were very satisfied with our food.

Food and service were top. All cocktails are very tasty. Unfortunately only EC card, but it's great that you can pay cashless at all.

My meal was absolutely not worth the money. I ordered pike perch with potato snow. Potato snow tasted very strange - absolutely not recommended. Overall there was a small portion on the huge plate. I felt sick after eating and took several tablets at home. The staff doesn't communicate with each other, we went out briefly but told a waiter we'd be right back. We were surprised that the table had been cleared and our things had disappeared. We got our drinks again and of course the things too. A waitress took the liberty of laughing at me because of my drink order; I ordered tomato juice. With a saying that goes like this: it would be just as bad if YOU ordered a glass of carrot juice now! She was completely lost anyway, I ordered still water with lemon, I got sparkling water and only without lemon...that's the woman who cleared our table with our things. Interior is very rustic, but also very nice and cozy.

A small town of surprises! Anyone who knows Mahrzahn can't imagine that there's a little oasis just around the corner. Despite the many high-rise buildings, the planners have managed to preserve the center of Mahrzahn. And, in keeping with tradition, there's a small (surprisingly large) church, a café, a butcher, a livestock farm, and a restaurant. The latter is a quaint country house with truly rustic, beautiful decor and a menu that leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to German cuisine. The staff is very attentive, prompt, and customer-oriented. Thank you for the pleasant stay and delicious food!

We ate here a few weeks ago, but the experience still sticks in my mind. It was an exceptionally spontaneous idea to eat here. There was a very nice employee on the phone who tried very hard to accommodate us (two people). After a short time he found a table. Very nice middle-class atmosphere and, above all, very tasty food at very good prices. I also thought it was great that the leftover food to take away cost a little extra. But the food was worth the extra charge!!! I would eat here again at any time, but then with a reservation 😉 Simply recommended!!! Thanks to the entire team, you are great 😀

It is a very rustic restaurant with very good German cuisine. The restaurant was completely booked, which is generally very pleasing, but not when there are far too few staff and we (20 people) felt that. We were there at 5:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m., after repeated requests, our food order was finally taken and at 7:15 p.m. we were finally able to eat. Our wait staff did their best under these stressful conditions. The food was consistently positive.

The food I ordered (schnitzel with mushroom sauce) was really good and very sufficient. Unfortunately, my friend's (cabbage roulade) was an absolute failure. In itself it is a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, the staff is quite unfriendly and a bit overwhelmed with a larger group.

Today we had a team dinner with 35 people and were treated very well. Our waitress Jacqueline was great. She was very friendly, responded to all of our requests, had a good overview and brought the food and drinks in a timely manner. We felt very well looked after with her. It was also great that we had the entire menu available for such a large group and is not something that can be taken for granted in every restaurant. We had a separate area for ourselves, which was also great. The food was great and very plentiful. I can definitely recommend the Marzahner Krug for larger groups. Everything was right. A restaurant with two faces. On our first visit about 2 months ago, the food was okay and, above all, it was hot. However, on the last visit the food was cold. Warm plates could definitely have helped. The taste of the food wasn't convincing either. The baker definitely won when it came to schnitzel. The white cabbage as a salad alibi tasted dry and barely seasoned; a sensible dressing could have helped. Our table could have seen a damp cloth again. The service seemed overwhelmed, or how can it be explained that a salad as the main course was only served 10 minutes after the warm dishes? This will scare away guests. We definitely won't be coming back.

Nowadays it is difficult to find a restaurant if you have an appetite for German home cooking. Italian, Asian restaurants, no problem. But if you have an appetite for a nice schnitzel, a cabbage roulade or a smoked pork roast, the offer is manageable. The Landhaus Marzahner Krug is always a good recommendation here. The only restriction: you have to love hits that play there non-stop...

While looking for a German restaurant, we spontaneously came across the Marzahner Krug and immediately got a table for three people. The atmosphere is nice and rustic, just a real inn. Which we personally really liked. The food came to the table after about 60 minutes. For a Saturday evening with a full house, the waiting time is perfectly fine. Our food tasted great, but that's also a matter of taste. The service was friendly and attentive. We recommend the inn with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back…

Wir sind schon jahrelang Gäste in diesem Lokal und so auch gestern zu einer ausgelassenen Familienfeier. Das Essen war wie immer fantastisch aber das größte Lob gilt unser Bedienung Jaqueline. Diese Frau hat das Herz am richtigen Fleck und uns den Abend mit Ihrem Witz sehr sehr verschönt. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch und hoffentlich bleibt Jaqueline diesem Hause sehr lange Zeit erhalten.

The food didn't pick me up. I don't think I'm going too far when I say that the majority are convenience products! For me personally it was pretty bland too. Huge catering bottles of ketchup and mayo were placed on the table for us. Service...nothing outstanding. Being there once is enough.

Bestellt wurde ein Tisch für ca 20 Personen... Getränke kamen erst einmal ziemlich schnell essen dauerte ewig und war zudem kalt . Nachdem 3 verschiedene Kellner kamen ging alles durcheinander .Es wurden falsche Getränke gebracht oder einfach vergessen. Gegen 00.00 Uhr wurden wir dann aufgefordert zu gehen(obwohl öffnungszeiten in der webseite open end anzeigt)Getränke können wir in Bechern mitnehmen wurde uns mitgeteilt .... alles in allem waren die Kellner überfordert wir überlegen ob wir Geburtstage dort noch mals feiern wollen .

Were there today with 19 people for a birthday. Jaqueline's service was absolutely top. She was super friendly and damn quick at all times. The food was also really good, no one had to wait long for it, we all had our food pretty much at the same time. On the whole, the Landhaus Marzahner Krug is highly recommended.

The food tastes delicious. The selection is rustic, the plates are sumptuous. The service is ok. During all our visits there was always something wrong. Either the bill was wrong or the service was unfriendly. The last time a dessert (pancakes) took 45 minutes, we then canceled it. The whole place and you smell like food. The food and restaurant is solid but not a highlight.

Very nice restaurant, but the staff was extremely overwhelmed. The food itself was good, but unfortunately there was a waiting time of 2 hours, which is not very advantageous if you have children with you. Maybe some bread would be in order if you have to wait so long. There are no children's meals either, now I had to order a 20 euro meal for my child, which she didn't even manage to eat a quarter of.. and everyone knows that old fries don't taste good. It was definitely the last time there...

The bad reviews are incomprehensible to me. We had lunch there today (on a Sunday). Despite the restaurant being full (large birthday party), we had drinks and food on the table within 15 minutes. The portions were all very tasty and plentiful. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

Unfortunately very disappointed, we often ate at the Krug but that will be the last time. We were there at 6:20 p.m. 10 minutes before our ordering table and were able to order drinks straight away and food after 20 minutes - from then on the catastrophe began. We waited over 2 hours for our food and they tried to console us by saying that the food would come soon or in 10 minutes. Unfortunately it backfired. Afterwards, when it was said that there had been a mistake in the kitchen and the food would be ready now if they still wanted it, which we said yes because we were hungry by then it was already 9 p.m. Subsequently, when it came to the bill, there was a discussion about a discount which was consistently denied. The staff is chaotic and some are disrespectful in my opinion. We kept saying we had no idea and people tried to convince us that we were there much later. The large portions can be praised, but I've never experienced paying an extra €1.60 for the packaging before. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant because there is a complete lack of polite treatment of guests. Kind regards Antonia

Der Laden war sehr gut besucht. Wir haben für 9 Personen reserviert. Für 8 Personen war der Tisch eingedeckt. 1 Person musste an der Stirn sitzen. Man saß sehr dicht beinander. Nach 90 Min. Wartezeit und mehrmaligem Nachfragen und darauffolgenden Beschwichtigungen, sagte man uns, dass etwas schief gelaufen sei. Nach 2 Stunden kam dann das Essen, nachdem man uns kurz zuvor gefragt hatte, ob wir das Essen noch haben möchten. Der Kellner machte noch einen Witz, was hier in diesem Fall völlig unangebracht ist. Rechnungsrabatt gab es nicht. Wir sollten für die Verpackung der Reste der Kinderessen Geld bezahlen. Essen war heiß und ok, aber ich kann keinen Besuch empfehlen.

Wir hatten anlässlich eines Geburtstags einen Tisch für 9 Personen reserviert. Eingedeckt war ein Tisch für 8 Personen. Nach der Bestellung warteten wir zwei Stunden auf unser Essen. Beim mehrfachen Nachfragen wurde uns wiederholt mitgeteilt, dass es nur noch wenige Minuten dauert. Nach eineinhalb Stunden sagte man uns, es sei etwas schief gelaufen und das Essen käme gleich. Erneutes Warten von 30 Minuten. Vor dem Servieren, nach zwei Stunden Wartezeit, fragte uns der Kellner, ob wir das Essen noch wollen. Warum sollten wir sonst noch da sitzen? Beim Servieren der !!!Schnitzel!!! freute sich der Kellner mit einem Scherz "hier ihre Pizza Salami". Sorry, aber da fehlt mir der Humor. Solch eine unprofessionelles Verhalten. Statt sich zu entschuldigen und mit der Rechnung entgegen zu kommen, wurde uns abschließend noch unterstellt, erst nach 18.30 da gewesen zu sein und nicht so lang gewartet zu haben. Zudem müsse man Verständnis haben, dass man bei 300 möglichen Gästen nun mal warten muss. Unglaublich! Selbst Stammgäste am Nachbartisch waren über das Verhalten erschrocken. Eine andere Familie verließ das Restaurant nach eineinhalb Stunden ohne Essen! Essen sonst okay, nicht überragend. Ambiente in Ordnung, jedoch zu eng und zu warm.

We reserved a table for 9 people for a birthday. A table was set for 8 people. After ordering we waited two hours for our food. When we asked several times, we were repeatedly told that it would only take a few minutes. After an hour and a half we were told that something had gone wrong and that the food was coming soon. Another 30 minute wait. Before serving, after two hours of waiting, the waiter asked us if we still wanted the food. Why else should we still be sitting there? When serving the !!!Schnitzel!!! said the waiter happily with a joke: “here is your pizza salami”. Sorry, but I'm missing the humor. Such unprofessional behavior. Instead of apologizing and coming up with the bill, they finally accused us of only being there after 6:30 p.m. and not having waited that long. You also have to understand that with 300 possible guests you just have to wait. Incredible! Even regular guests at the next table were shocked by the behavior. Another family left the restaurant after an hour and a half without food! Otherwise the food was okay, not great. Ambience OK, but too narrow and too warm.

I can't understand the reviews here. We ate there today with about 10 people. Apart from the smell of old grease and a broken sewage pipe, the cleanliness was mediocre. The restaurant is NOT suitable for children: despite having two toilets, there is no changing facility (apart from the sticky floor) and no children's meals - neither half portion nor child-friendly. After we got our food we were only visited once to settle the bill. Instead, we were treated to hits and a DVD on a continuous loop (the waitress spent more time with the technology than with us). Now to the actual food: the cook can fry. But that's about it. At least there is still gender-specific food - large schnitzel for the man and small for the woman. That wouldn't have happened to us in Prenz'l Berg ;-)

Das Lokal finde ich optisch sehr gut gelungen und passt auch dorthin. Die Wartezeit (1h) für die ersten Getränke von 12 Leuten ist nicht akzeptabel. Das Essen ist gut bürgerliche Küche wenn auch Mittelmaß. Werde es trotzdem nochmal versuchen, da vermutlich durch das Fest vor der Tür viel los war. Auch wenn es nicht überraschend gekommen ist.

New Year's Eve party It was a failure. There were 6 of us. First of all, the seating. We were placed at a table where a group was already sitting. No problem if there had only been four of us. 2 chairs were placed on the right and left at the corners of the table. Sitting and eating comfortably is impossible for those sitting in the corner. After complaining, we were moved to the fireplace room. Buffet, I'm really at a loss for words. Everything that was probably left of the Christmas menu could be found there. Goose legs, hard and dry and the rest!!!!!!....I don't know if the chef was on vacation and the rest of the staff quickly threw something together, whatever was still there and had to go... And all of this for €80.00 per person, no free drink included. For me it was out of proportion. Overall, I DIDN'T LIKE IT. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Bad food, reheated and old tasting. Staff didn't respond to the critical opinion, assuming we had no idea. It's a shame, it was supposed to be a rehearsal dinner for my 89th birthday with a larger company.

Unfortunately it's all very meaty. As a vegetarian who travels with meat eaters, it wasn't that easy for me. However, when I asked, I also got the farmer's breakfast without bacon. It wasn't that warm anymore, but to be fair I have to say that it was very crowded. The waiters were very polite and service-oriented. All in all, I can highly recommend it.

The food is great, unfortunately there is a complete lack of choice for vegetarians/vegans. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Unfortunately the organization leaves a lot to be desired. So deposit only in cash and if they tell you on the phone that it's €50, it's better to take more with you... I suddenly had to pay €100 in cash. Oh and if you paid your deposit in cash, remember to bring cash when you eat there... That's not possible. Deposit in cash and payment by card.... Totally incomprehensible to me, is explained by the team... That there is no other way from an accounting perspective. It's just shocking that they want to explain this to a person trained in accounting. It's a shame, it totally ruined the overall impression.

The food was very good! We have reservations for Boxing Day! We paid a deposit in advance, which I think is completely okay, because the risk shouldn't just be borne by the restaurant! I just found it strange that we were given the money we had paid as soon as we entered! Couldn't that have been taken into account in the invoice? I've never experienced anything like this before! Then, when making the deposit (almost two months before), the number of people and the food chosen were noted down in order to be able to better plan the purchase of the kitchen! But then I find it all the worse that the food you pre-ordered is no longer in stock! We were informed that the kitchen had purchased incorrectly! So with all my love, how can this happen! If a delivery hadn't arrived, we would have understood, but we made the wrong purchase!? Very annoying because there was no apology from the winemaker! Very unprofessional!

Wir wollten gestern einen schönes Weihnachtsessen haben . Der Kellner war total überfordert frech. Getränke kamen nach 45 min . Vorher kam der Salat ein kleiner Klecks auf dem Teller dann waren die vor bestellten Enten aus . Die Rinderroulade sah geteilt aus und der Rotkohl muss auch sehr knapp gewesen sein und von dem Apfelstrudel war echt abzuraten. Die Kids bekamen Erdbeereis und Schokoeis es gab kein Vanilleeis . Das Essen war vom geschnackt gut aber wenig und für das Geld mehr erwartet. Es geht mal wieder nur ums Geld verdienen und der Vegetarier bekam nicht sein Menü was angefragt wurde sondern nur Knödel und Rotkohl … dort sind Vegetarier nicht gern gesehen ! Fazit danke aber da gibt es bessere Restaurants. Die andere Kellernin gab sich Mühe und der Kellner wollte uns nicht mehr bedienen nach dem wir ihm eine Ansage machten Freundlichkeit ist das mindeste ! Und wir haben 350 Gäste , ja aber dafür seid ihr leider überfordert und Unfähig das zu rocken . Und das der Koch eine falsche Bestellung gemacht hat ist auch keine Ausrede, dann brauch man nicht vorbestellen !!!

First of all, the positive: Atmosphere nice and rustic. Unfortunately, tablecloths were very stained. We have been booking a Christmas meal here with the family since the beginning of the year. And we were already looking forward to it. From October onwards, the restaurant asked what kind of meal they wanted, which everyone then chose. Now the time had come and all 10 people met here. After you were taken to your seat, you waited exactly half an hour to be asked for drinks. Here’s the first bit of bad news: “Unfortunately, all ducks would be gone” 😔. So everyone who ordered duck has changed their plans. Which then became quite chaotic. Half an hour later, the first drinks finally arrived. About 20 minutes later the main course came, we complained that the salad hadn't come yet. Which was then promptly delivered. Now things were getting tight on the table. Huge plate only half full and still a salad plate! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. Two dumplings, a spoonful of red cabbage and a roulade. My daughter was promised kale instead of red cabbage, which suddenly ran out. My roulade was really very dry and dead, which the other guests could confirm. The sauce from the goose leg was also quite salty. To which we were told that tastes are different. There's nothing to say about the apple strudel except the plastic aftertaste and the fact that it was just puplau. Waiters seemed confused and forgetful. All in all, it was a real failure and was also very expensive! It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it.

Christmas dinner was outrageously expensive. As a vegetarian option, we ordered potato pancakes, which were billed as a menu without prior agreement and ended up costing €38.50. The menu included an unspectacular salad and a cheap scoop of vanilla ice cream. It has to be said that only 3 potato pancakes were served, which were obviously not homemade. When asked to adjust the price, the staff replied that they would not do that. Accordingly, you paid as much for 3 potato pancakes as for a Christmas goose.

Great German restaurant. But the serving times of at least 1 hour are not that nice. The service staff was also a bit overwhelmed when it came to paying.

Very good inn with a good offer. Nice quick service and large portions.
