I'm staying at a hotel nearby for work, and this afternoon I spontaneously went to the Neues Landhaus. To make a long story short: I didn't regret it! There were three tables occupied, including me, so it was rather moderately busy. There was only one waiter on site, which was perfectly adequate given the number of guests. I was impressed by the waiter because he was incredibly friendly and very attentive....Great! 👍 I personally really like the ambiance, although others might find it too plain. But for me, the food is the most important thing...and it was simply delicious! The portion was so large, though, that I had my leftovers packed up and enjoyed it again for dinner. The hunter's sauce is amazing (although I had to order a second helping because there wouldn't be enough sauce otherwise)!! Simply good!

Delicious food, friendly and attentive service

Four of us were there on a Friday evening. The food was really good. We also had roast beef, porcini mushroom risotto, cordon bleu, and turkey steak. All very tasty and nicely presented. The only downside was that it took quite a while to prepare. Even though only one other table was occupied, it took an hour for the food to arrive. The ambiance was also nice. Beautiful interior, comfortable chairs, and plenty of space. Where there's still room for improvement is the service. Before we even got around to ordering our food, we had to listen to a litany of rules and prohibitions. "With the Schlemmerblock (snack card), we only pay in cash. If you want a non-alcoholic Alster, you have to take two. After all, we have to open a separate bottle. If you want separate bills, you have to come to me at the counter..." In my opinion, that's not up to date.

We were at the Landhaus today for a birthday party with 20 people, and it was an absolute disaster. For us as a private party and the restaurant, there was only one condition. The champagne reception was forgotten, the asparagus soup tasted like water and cream, the main course was cold, the vegetables weren't cooked through, the meat was dry and completely inedible, and the sauce arrived when half of the food was almost finished. The poor waitress, who had to do everything on her own, was visibly stressed and overwhelmed, which is completely understandable and unfortunately not the first time it hasn't gone well. Unfortunately, the Landhaus is no longer an option for us.

The food is homely, traditional. Prices are reasonable. The ambiance is a bit bare and could use a bit more.

We discovered this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (a booklet for gourmets). On January 2, 2025, we spontaneously decided to try the restaurant and went there in the evening. The dining room was empty except for one other couple, and we were allowed to choose a table. The tables were all set, but we felt the attention to detail was lacking: some tables were set with mixed napkins, including ours, where a few gray napkins were broken, and a white napkin was carelessly placed at the neighboring table (same table). When we received our menus, we explained how it was supposed to be done, and we were used to having a Schlemmerblock (a booklet for gourmets). This way, we get two dishes for the price of one. The server coolly replied that this was actually only possible with a reservation, that only cash payments were accepted, and that part of the menu (the winter menu) was unavailable. We asked if we could stay anyway, which, after reiterating the reservation rule and our desire to pay in cash, was at least agreed. Since the restaurant was still empty at this point except for another couple, we felt rather unwelcome given this statement. We ordered our food, each a burger, which was brought promptly, but without the coleslaw salad listed on the menu. We also ordered ketchup, which wasn't automatically served with the fries, and asked about the coleslaw. We were curtly told that it was out. Someone came to our table twice and asked if everything was okay. We then waited almost 30 minutes until a server re-entered the dining room, so we couldn't order more drinks and then just asked for the bill. Regarding the quality of the food, the burger was poorly presented, with untoasted pre-made buns and generic sauces. The fries were quite salty. At the asking price of almost €20 for a burger, we felt the food was too expensive considering the ingredients used and the way it was prepared, especially since the coleslaw salad was missing. All in all, we can't recommend it in any of the categories, and given the coldness we received regarding the Schlemmerblock, we wonder why this restaurant was included in the Schlemmerblock.

Food: The meat (duck breast) was dry and the crust was wobbly; the red cabbage had too much wine and cloves in it. You only got three half potatoes. The potato gratin was still partly raw and very little. The steak was cooked through even though it was supposed to be rare. Service: The gentleman was clearly overwhelmed, as he was alone. But he was friendly. Atmosphere: The chairs were very comfortable. The rest was okay.

So: we had pre-ordered goose for 6 people for Christmas Day and arrived on time. The restaurant was packed, and there was only one server plus one assistant there! The drinks arrived after about 30 minutes, and the food after 90 minutes, or 1.5 hours!!! There was no greeting, no apology, no bread or anything like that beforehand. The table next to us had already predicted that it would take a while. Because of this, they didn't order dessert! We were there with two elderly people who couldn't sit down any longer and just wanted to go home. Then the food finally arrived! Apart from the Brussels sprouts, it tasted very good. The server was very friendly despite everything; it wasn't her fault! Our conclusion: the food was good, everything else was terrible. Definitely not a recommendation!!!

Unfortunately, we had to wait longer for our order to be taken, for the drinks to arrive (reordering was quicker), and for the food to arrive. The food was good, but it took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. Only two servers in a full restaurant is a bit short.

We went there for Christmas dinner with a hiking group of 12 people in December. The restaurant lacked a Christmas atmosphere. The meat dishes were very dry. When we asked about the extremely dry meat, the staff didn't react. For €20, we expected more.

The food was very good, awesome cordon bleu, but the service could have been a bit more attentive.

We treated ourselves to lunch once. All the dishes were delicious (meatballs with fried potatoes and a fried egg, and Königsberger Klopse). The portions were very generous. Since I'm a big fan of fried potatoes, I was really impressed by the taste. They weren't greasy either, which I thought was great. All in all, I highly recommend it. I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

We've eaten at the country house several times and it's always been delicious. We like the atmosphere and the peace and quiet in the country house. The service is very pleasant and friendly. It's nice to have such a great restaurant in town. We say thank you and keep it up. 👍🏻

Very tasty, fresh food. Price performance and portions have been adjusted. We had schnitzel and burgers, the taste was good, but nothing outstanding Ambience is very cozy, but quite cool. I used to like the cozy country house style.

After hearing other things, we wanted to form our own opinion. The food was awesome! The best fried potatoes in the world. I wanted to take the cook with me straight away. The second visit was just as good. The third one too. We will definitely come back.

We were in the new country house for the first time at lunchtime. Furnishings are stylish and beautiful. When we arrived, 1 table was occupied and no service staff could be seen. We waited because we assumed you would be placed here. At some point a lady who seemed overwhelmed came and signaled for us to sit down “somewhere”. The lunch menu was missing from the menus, so this extra sheet was brought to us when we asked. In total it took a good 20 minutes for the order to be taken - definitely too long for lunch with just a few guests. To eat - Meatballs Sauce was extremely lumpy (roux not well made) and bland with an uncharacteristic cheesy aftertaste. Dumplings and boiled potatoes were okay. -Meatballs with fried egg and fried potatoes Meatballs okay, fried potatoes very greasy and some of the egg whites are still very raw and runny. Overall, the visit doesn't invite you to try out the evening menu - what a shame!

The taste, quality and quantity of the food were very good and reasonably priced. Very friendly service. Guest room and toilets very clean. Children's chair and PawPatrol napkins for the children. We were thrilled and would love to come back.

New opening: prices are higher than usual, but the food was above average. There was no waiting time for the food. The food was there within 15 minutes. The second helping of fried potatoes was free. Of course the waitress has to get used to it, but she was very friendly. We would love to go back and wish the new owner all the best. A sweet white wine would be desirable on the menu.

The lunch menu with a soft drink has a good price/performance ratio and the culinary work is good. No fast food or ready meals. We haven't tested the normal menu yet. The prices seem quite high. But you can expect good quality if the lunch menu is already top-notch.

Short after we arrived the restaurant was full and staff was very busy. It seemed like both waiters were new in the job. However we got our food pretty quick and the portion was very big and it tasted great. 2 mains, beer and vine was 59€. Not our last visit, THANK YOU.

The food is top. Both the steak and the cordon bleu were very tasty and the portions were plentiful and good quality 😋 The staff was friendly and attentive. There are offers such as the beef fillet steak with fried potatoes and coleslaw for 26 euros or beef roulade for €12.50 outside the normal menu. Restaurant is highly recommended. The menu was revised again after the opening and offers something for everyone.

Sauerfleisch mit Bratkartoffeln. Das essen war ein schlechter Witz, das Sauerfleisch Maus grau. Bratkartoffeln eine beleidigung, entweder schwarz oder blas aber nicht so wie es sein sollte. Der Preis ein horror. Wenn das einfachste Gericht schon so schlecht ist, will ich nicht wissen wie es mit den anderen gerichten aussieht.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal da. Es ist etwas teurer aber sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Wenn wir wieder hier sind werden wir definitiv wieder hier essen.

Sehr gutes Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis, das Fleisch ist von hoher Qualität und sehr gut zubereitet. Das Schokosuffle ist ein Traum und wird mit Eis und Beeren serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich wollte eigentlich dem neuen Landhaus eine Chance geben. Aber das Essen im neuen Landhaus mit neuen! Preisen, kann und will ich mir nicht leisten. Gut bürgerliche Küche mit normalen Preisen hätte für Kaki besser gepasst. Es wäre sehr Schade, wenn das neue Konzept nicht funktioniert. Vielleicht wird aber auch eine bestimmte Zielgruppe bevorzugt. Ich drücke dem Wirt die Daumen.

Schönes Ambiente, sehr bequemes und geschmackvolles Interieur. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist gut und wird gut zubereitet, meiner Meinung nach fehlt der letzte Touch (z.B. Knoblauch, Rosmarin, Butter am Steak). Für den Preis würde ich das erwarten. Die Portionen sind groß und man wird vom Hauptgang satt. Ich würde fast dazu raten die Portionen etwas kleiner zu machen und die Preise etwas niedriger anzusetzen, dann ist man eher bereit mehrere gänge zu bestellen. Ansonsten handwerklich sehr gut. Auf der übersichtlichen und schön gestalteten Internetseite kann man die Angebote und Speisekarte einsehen.

Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen (Roastbeef und Lamm-Karree) waren gut. Das Lamm-Karre einen kleinen ticken zu lange gegart, aber grade noch okay. Man merkt auf jeden Fall, das die Speisen (auch die Soßen) selbst gemacht und frisch zubereitet waren. Das Ambiente könnte ein wenig gemütlicher sein (wärmere Beleuchtung). Die Musik (deutscher Schlager) geht gar nicht und ist auch nicht passend. Zusammengefasst waren wir zufrieden und kommen wieder.

Waren dort heute Abend essen und es war viel gemütlicher als es die Fotos hier vermuten lassen ( Licht ist eher warmweiß als kalt, dazu Kaminfeuer-Projektion). Die Preise sind sicherlich etwas höher angesetzt, dafür sind die verarbeiteten Produkte aus unserer Sicht allererster Güte und es schmeckte hervorragend. Wir kommen wieder.

Es ist wieder da, das neue Landhaus. Allerdings gibt's hier keine Zimmer mehr, sondern nur noch das Restaurant im neuen Stil. Zwar mussdas Team sich noch einspielen ( einiges funktioniert noch nicht so richtig), aber das wird schon. Freundlichkeit sind hier gängig, allerdings wurde keine Kerze angezündet, es wurde sehr spät gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei und wir mussten trotzReservierung an einem großen Tisch warten bis unsere fertig gemacht wurde. Dennoch, Essen war super, ich bekam sogar auf Anfrage eine halbe Portion Roastbeef! Peise gehen schon in die gehobene Klasse, aber es war durchaus lecker. Ambiente noch ausbaufähig, besonders der Lautsprecher mit zu kurzem Kabel über unserem Tisch sollte umgebaut werden (sehr gefährlich)! Trotzdem Danke an das Team und weiter so! Wir behalten das im Auge.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Teller waren gut gefüllt.Wir hatten das Jägerschnitzel einmal mit Pommes und einmal Kroketten und dazu gab es jeweils einen Salat.

Sehr gute Hausmannskost zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Speisen waren lecker. Einzig die verstaubten, ausgestopften Fasane waren irgendwie nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Die Deko sollte mal überdacht werden.

Heute haben wir das Monats-Angebot genossen: Roastbeef satt. Geschmack und Präsentation sind hervorragend, die Bratkartoffeln heiß und lecker und der Service sehr nett. Das Fazit: Wir kommen wieder

Würde 4,5Sterne geben. Aber zugunsten des Restaurants 5Sterne hier. Wir hatten das Monatsangebot Roastbeef Satt für 16,50€. Es schmeckte wirklich gut und das nach liefern ging zügig. Der Preis ist sonst Standard für 1Portion (auch in anderen Restaurants), von daher ein echtes Angebot!

Wir waren jetzt einige Male zum Mittagstisch im Landhaus, und wir waren jedes Mal begeistert. Dort wird sehr gute, schmackhafte deutsche Hausmannskost serviert - und das zu einem fairen Preis. Man schmeckt, dass hier frische Zutaten verwendet werden. Das Ambiente ist zwar recht nüchtern, dafür ist das Essen aber tiptop - "wie bei Muttern"...

First of all friendly service, and lovely outdoor area. But a bit noise due to have traffic. The food was not home cooked but just heatings from the freezer, so not any special and the salat should have been served yesterday.

Nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung bei gutem Essen. Regionale und deutsche Küche. Das Restaurant ist ein insgesamt offener Raum, dem die gemütliche Atmosphäre fehlt. Es gibt passende Kinderstühle, die Bedienung brachte auf Wunsch für die Kinder eine Kuchengabel, aber kein Kinderbesteck. Durch den offenen Raum wird es relativ laut. Das Essen ist gut, es fehlt aber der entsprechende Pfiff. Es gibt eine guten Mittagstisch, es wird mittags aber auch von der Karte gekocht. Von meinem Sauerfleisch hätten zwei Personen satt werden können. Mit dem Mittagstisch (Kasslerbraten) und dem Fisch waren alle auch zufrieden.

Leckeres deutsches essen zu normalen Preisen, auch für Versammlungen und kleine Familienfeiern geeignet.

Ich kenne diese Lokalität schon viele Jahre. Vor knapp drei Monaten war Betreiberwechsel. Es wurden Umbauten angesagt, die ich so nicht erkennen konnte. Mit dem Rollstuhl in den Clubraum zu gelangen war nicht möglich. Der Chef musste die separate Tür mit etwas mehr Kraft öffnen ,damit wir in den gebuchten Saal kamen. Also überhaupt nicht behindertengerecht. Eingangsbereich zwei Stufen, auch doof. Sanitäre Anlagen bedürfen auch unbedingt eine Renovierung bzw Modernisierung. Für Senioren mit eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit sehr schwieriges Unterfangen diese Örtlichkeit zu nutzen. Wir waren am 4.advent die einzigen Gäste, 16 E. und 4 kleine Kinder. Dadurch hatten die kiddis das ganze Lokal für sich 👍👍👍 Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, jedoch ziemlich unorganisiert. Das Essen kam nach eine Stunde samt Vorspeise. Da gab es nichts zu meckern. Alles sehr sehr lecker. Summa summarum würde ich eine Familienfeier mit Rollstuhl und wackliger Oma hier nicht noch mal feiern, auf Grund der , für mich, vielen Hindernissen. Was mich als Mensch ohne gesundheitliche Probleme nicht davon abhält wieder zu kommen.

Gute deutsche Küche. Solide, schmackhaft und ohne Schnickschack. Prima, um ab und zu mal die Küche zu Hause kalt zu lassen. Faire Preise, günstiger Mittagstisch, alles ohne großes Ambiente.

Freundlicher Service. Das bestellte Essen war lecker. Das Ambiente war eher etwas fade. Wir waren zu sechst in der kalten Jahreszeit da und die an der Heizung saßen wurden "gegrillt". Sehr fleischlastiges Angebot. Vegetarier haben leider wirklich Schwierigkeiten. Die Preise sind angemessen.

Gut bürgerlich, sehr gute deutsche und regionale Küche. Freundlicher Service und alle Speisen frisch zubereitet, was möchte man mehr? Die Portionen sind mehr als reichlich, wobei immer wieder gefragt wird, ob denn die Bratkartoffeln auch ausreichen. Die Preise sind auf einem recht günstigen Niveau, das ist dann auch mal einen Familienbesuch wert. Zu einer Feier legt sich das Landhaus Team wohl ganz besonders ins Zeug, die Buffets sind wirklich Weltklasse! Und auch hier: man muß keinen Kleinkredit aufnehmen. Sehr schön, sehr gut, immer wieder gerne auf unserem Plan.

Gerne wieder. Hatte ein T-Bone und es war perfekt. Freundlich und sauber. Auch eine Empfehlung an Monteure die in der Nähe arbeiten...

Wir waren mit Freunden um 19:00 Uhr zum Essen verabredet. Das Lokal war gut besucht. Um 20:45 Uhr kam die Frage nach einer weiteren Order und um 21:00 Uhr wurde die Rechnung unterbreitet, da man eher schließen wollte. Wir waren anscheinend die letzten Gäste. Schade, wenn die Öffnungszeiten mit 22:00 Uhr angegeben sind, sollte man diese auch einhalten. Wenn man einen netten, gemütlichen Abend verbringen möchten, ist dieses Lokal gänzlich ungeeignet.
