I am deeply shocked and disappointed by the unprofessional and illegal behavior of Marché Mövenpick Deutschland GmbH in Wolfsburg towards its employees. As a company that everyone actually knows, I would not have expected such an approach. Here, hard-working employees are ripped off and the frictional heat is sold as nest warmth. It's no wonder that there are always so many jobs available; no one stays here voluntarily for long. And then people complain about the “shortage of skilled workers”.

The waiting time at the individual stands is too long. I stood in line for 20 minutes for ice cream. An employee replenished supplies, although more than half was still available, as the line grew longer. My notice was answered with the comment "I'm sorry it bothers you when I fill everything up here." considered. It seems to me that this is neither customer-oriented nor well thought out in terms of logistics. Unfortunately, it's not my first disappointment there.

Eating bad food, all frozen products. 15€ for a small portion of gyros that tastes bad.

We were there twice this year and were very disappointed each time. The first time for breakfast. We had reserved a table by the window and were seated on bar stools in the middle (really not particularly relaxed with a child) as there was no free space by the window. Apparently it wasn't seen in the reservation. The atmosphere was more like a canteen. Selection OK, but nothing special. The biggest disappointment, however, was yesterday evening... for 40 EUR per head, "the big BBQ - all you can eat" was offered... If you didn't take it with humor, that was really just a huge cheek ... There was currywurst, chicken legs and ribs - no steak, no bratwurst... nothing... instead vegetables and salads... also, for example, the zucchini with feta mentioned in the offer was more of a salad with raw feta. I don't think any of it has ever seen a grill... and everyone was wondering what the "Little BBQ" would have included... it was really just cheeky... the big hit came at the end. According to the offer, it was also supposed to include "sweet desserts" - several of them.... we were supposed to buy them first.... only after we pointed out that they were included in the offer did we think about it hectically and we were allowed to have 2 Choose scoops of ice cream + 1 topping, but just not the delicious cold stone varieties... ridiculous... The employees tried to be friendly, but no one knew what the offer (which had been offered on several previous evenings) even included. When the plates ran out, jokes were heard among the guests like: What's the use of plates, there's nothing to eat.... The gentleman was right.... If we hadn't already paid in advance, we would have Didn't pay in full yesterday... just a joke... we won't be coming back and won't recommend it to others. Pure rip off...

Unfortunately there is no VW currywurst anymore... only in the park itself... to eat a currywurst you have to pay an entrance fee, sorry VW, you're crazy

We went to the lagoon for the breakfast buffet and lunch. The rolls at breakfast were very dry and looked like baked goods. The cold cuts were average. Lunch was delicious, but the portions were too small. The prices for breakfast and lunch were not value for money. The atmosphere is like a large canteen. The employees are very friendly, the location is tidy and the sanitary facilities were clean.

I live vegan, my partner doesn't. I asked in advance via email whether there was a vegan option, as breakfast costs almost €27 per person and we were traveling from Celle. Vegan dishes were confirmed to me. When I asked for a menu, I was only assured that they also had vegan cakes. When I arrived at the restaurant I was so disappointed. When I asked the very friendly service staff, I was made aware of the vegan “corner”. It was soy yogurt and fruit. There was also one - really only one - piece of apple pie. Smoothies and hot cherries are also vegan. It stayed with rolls and vegan nut nougat cream. For 27€. No salad, no antipasti. For a breakfast for two I can get better somewhere else for €54. But the service was very friendly and even a bit embarrassed. But I don't want to accuse anyone of anything. We won't be coming back

The bread and drinks are great. Omelettes are freshly prepared. Ambience just as great. Unfortunately there are very few vegetarian/vegan alternatives, even though they are advertised (no milk alternatives for coffee etc., hardly any to few cold cuts/spreads). As a vegan/vegetarian you would run into this place quite quickly, so for the price of €25.90 it's hardly worth eating here. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is generally no longer the best.

It's amazing how soft you can cook asparagus...

Very large noisy hall called a restaurant. There are several stations here where a dish is prepared together, where there is a salad bar and also self-service, where the food is only refilled sporadically, and the food was cold. Payment here is with a so-called card, where a certain amount is booked on it. On the whole, I wouldn't come here again, the staff is very unfriendly, made a listless impression and the money for food could have been better spent somewhere else. There is also one more VW Currywurst here, double thumbs down 👎🏼

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because we weren't allowed in. We asked in advance by phone whether it would be possible to take a small dog (dwarf Pomeranian) with us, this was answered in the affirmative as long as it was a small dog. Yes, I know you can leave him at home, but we're not from Wolfsburg and that's why we had to take him with us. Unfortunately it was too warm outside to leave him in the car. It's a shame, maybe you should let this person know better. We then had breakfast somewhere else.

Had to eat here twice. The staff was in a bad mood at the most, except for the entrance and the coffee bar. The ladies and gentlemen nicely let you know that the plates and trays are empty and they thank you. The second time it was simply ignored when you wanted to order. There was nothing going on at 4pm and the staff were busy with themselves or chatting. The taste of the food is disproportionate to the price.

We were there on May 1st and wanted to have a relaxed meal. Unfortunately, the food in the displays looked a bit worn out, so we decided to change restaurants. And now comes the biggest stress test, you stand at the exit and have to wait for the employees at the checkout to scan the cards to pay. We waited in line for an incredible 18 minutes to be allowed out!! Cashing in took forever! I have no idea what the ladies type in, they usually put a card on it and collect money. Very much in need of improvement! There should be a card reader there for customers who haven't eaten anything and JUST want to get out. You can't have to wait in a checkout line for this!

Catastrophe! Unfortunately very bad food, completely overpriced and an absolutely demotivated and unfriendly restaurant. Nobody greets you, nobody asks you what you want. Nobody smiles... Then the ladies gather together and prefer to gossip about other colleagues and the customers line up and wait. I've rarely had such a bad journey as here, very sad. I expected something better when picking up the vehicle. Then you had to pay too much for it... Unbelievable.

You can make a reservation here, and you probably should, so you don't have to wait. The concept is good, everyone can take and order whatever and as much as they want. The selection is huge, everything you want is there and there. We don't see any criticisms and cannot understand some of the reviews at all. I deducted one point for the somewhat hall-like location; we would have liked a little more privacy. You can't choose the guests next door... But basically recommended, we'll be back!

Food and service BAD!! Far too overpriced

Food was disgusting, never been so disappointed! Nothing was fresh and there was hair in my bun??? I've heard a lot of negative things about this breakfast but wanted to make up my own mind... Really not recommended!

It was a Volkswagen convention, and the truth is that everything was super well prepared!

We were in the Autostadt and wanted to have lunch there. Organizationally, the restaurant is a disaster. Although there are actually only dishes that can be prepared, e.g. currywurst, schnitzel, we waited more than half an hour for our food. I had already eaten my currywurst before my wife got her schnitzel, even though she ordered before me. The employees at the food distribution probably don't process the order as it comes in, but rather as they see fit. The other members of our troop only received their food when my wife had finished eating. They also ordered shortly after us. Catastrophe. For the price the food was ok. Not necessarily cheap, but the service wasn't good at all.

Happy Easter, No way, my four-year-old daughter and I wanted to eat an ice cream quietly and quietly, there were enough places at the counter to eat the ice cream we wanted, and an unfriendly lady looked at us incomprehensibly and said it was the day of the Easter brunch, Well, the two of us just wanted a quick ice cream at the counter, but we should wait until 3 p.m. Hmm, I'll let everyone think for themselves what they think. Had a lovely time in the lagoon today with a hearty breakfast. As always, the selection was very good. We were all very satisfied. Small drawback... Our table was right next to the children's play area. Unfortunately, they didn't make any effort to assign us another table, especially since many tables in another area were still free a little later...

Unfortunately, the Easter buffet and service are absolutely subpar. For our Easter buffet we were assigned the most terrible place the lagoon has to offer. We were able to celebrate our Easter in the last corner with a draft and a view of the folded tablecloths. We were disappointed! When asked to change seats, people just shook their heads tiredly. - And that even though half the restaurant was empty... No wonder, because the poor customer service is compounded by the fact that the so-called Easter buffet is of subpar quality. Dishes not very varied, carelessly prepared, everything just lukewarm and unseasoned. Staff annoyed and bored. It's terrible that the Autostadt offers something like this. We were here last time.

I can't understand the hype about the lagoon. The offer is average at best, the employees are rather unfriendly. The atmosphere is like a canteen. All in all not recommended.

The ambience was good, unfortunately the food couldn't keep up. I worked there myself about 20 years ago and found the food concept with themed areas better. Side dishes such as vegetables were lukewarm and dry on the display. I had roast pork, which was also good, but at 8.50 euros for two small slices it was too expensive for me. The staff were nice, but the menu was also very important to them and they asked energetically about it. All in all a mediocre level for the price, others can do better.

I was there for the first time and had to realize that the breakfast for 25 € was terrible *burnt and poor-quality rolls, everything looked like it had been hung, the taste was also poor and the structure was unpleasant, plus there were broken chairs that couldn't be sorted out. My girlfriend has celiac disease and this bread was also inedible. Conclusion: a no go for the upscale VW hall

Even after many years, the breakfast buffet in the lagoon is still at a high level... a diverse selection, excellent quality, very good value for money, a birthday child has breakfast for free... can be easily combined with a visit to the Autostadt ...

We went to the lagoon for schnitzel evening today. The menu and the table were ok. Unfortunately, the service person at the drinks counter wasn't interested. Emotionless behavior coupled with listlessness. Not a smile and not a kind word. It's a shame, the lagoon in the Autostadt can also be different. Therefore only 3 stars. 🤷‍♂️

I'll start by saying it's a decent location with self service and plenty of space. Good food, nicely presented, tasty and quite large portions. The atmosphere is pleasant but quite noisy. The organization leaves a bit to be desired because I had to wait quite a while for the staff who were missing from the self-service (there was no one at the weighing bench)

We were there for breakfast for the second time within a month. Unfortunately the service is a catastrophe, the second staff tried very hard the whole time. But clearly there are far too few staff, the staff can't keep up with clearing the tables. It's just annoying that the table is so full all the time. There is clearly not enough staff for the size. The food and selection is very good. Unfortunately, it's just annoying that the drinks glasses are very, very small, as the distances within the buffet are relatively long and you're more busy walking than enjoying the food.

When we visited the autostadt, my sons and I ate there. Vehicle pickers receive a 30% discount for all restaurants when paying. I assume that there are some pick-up people visiting the autostadt. The employee didn't ask me for the discount card when paying, it's certainly not mandatory, but it would have been nice. In the supermarket I'm finally asked for the Payback card, and it's about cents and not €25. When I noticed this after the payment process and said that we had forgotten it, I was informed that this would not be possible afterwards. The following day the same procedure was used as a test at the checkout, this time I wasn't asked either. I find that shameful

I have never eaten so disgustingly in my life as I did today! The cake "tasted" like it was 3 days old, the carrots were disgusting, rock hard... so I don't expect that from here... and my child's waffle, disgusting! When the woman put the "dough" in the waffle iron, I was already shocked at the counter... It looked like dough! The waffle didn't taste remotely like a waffle and I had the feeling that it wasn't baked through. Nothing was eaten. I always say now that if my child doesn't like his "standard" food somewhere, then there must be something wrong! Today I really asked myself whether the people up there wouldn't even try or look at what's being sold there...

Good restaurant in the Autostadt. Located directly in the entrance area. Large selection of food and drinks.

Our favorite breakfast place for many years. The price includes everything from coffee specialties to two different types of sparkling wine. There is a wide selection, lots of cold cuts, warm dishes, cakes, etc. You should definitely reserve in advance, especially on weekends and during holidays. This can also be done quickly and easily using open tables. We always enjoy coming back.

We were there for breakfast on Saturday with the family. It was our first visit to the Lagune and we were thrilled. A super wide selection. Everything was organic. You could eat and drink as much as you wanted. The price was absolutely justified. It was great delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker und frisch. Eigentlich alles dabei, was man für ein Frühstück benötig. Preislich etwas hoch

Wir haben zum Geburtstag 2 Gutscheine für das Frühstück Büfett bekommen und diese heute eingelöst. Ich war sehr gespannt da die Bewertungen ja sehr unterschiedlich sind. Wir waren sehr Begeistert vom Büfett, es war alles da was da sein sollte und auch noch ein bisschen mehr. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und es war bestimmt nicht das letzte mal, das wir zum Frühstück dort waren da der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt ist für das was Angeboten wird.

Wir haben dort toll gegessen. Große Auswahl und wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Voll und laut. Zuviele Gäste am kleinen Buffet. Wer kein Weizenmehl/ Gluten verträgt ist aufgeschmissen. Nur 1 Sorte Kleine Dinkelbrötchen, und die mit Kümmel ! Gertränkeauswahl ist gut. 15 Min vor 11 Uhr wird das Buffet abgeräumt, obwohl bis 11 Uhr geöffnet.

Leider war das Weihnachtsbuffet enttäuschend und dem Preis absolut nicht angemessen. Das Personal gab sich wirklich Mühe, konnte aber die Defizite beim Buffet nicht ausgleichen. Die Ente war zu trocken, der Fisch(den wir alle gerne probiert hätten), hart wie Stein durch das lange Erwärmen und er wurde während unseres zweistündigen Aufenthaltes auch nicht ersetzt. Die Auswahl war wirklich mehr als überschaubar. und bot nicht viele Alternativen. Wenn ich sage, dass sich der Einladende bei seinen Gästen für das Essen entschuldigte, bedarf es wohl keiner weiteren Ausführungen. Sehr schade, aber keine Weiterempfehlung!

Weiche, labbrige Pommes, nicht gesalzen und geschmacklos. Nur kleine Auswahl an Hauptgerichten, die auch zu wenig Geschmack hatten. Preis-Leistung passt nicht. Currywurst gibt es auch nicht. Die kann man nur im Tachometer essen, d.h. nur wenn man ein teures Ticket für die Autostadt kauft. Ambiente wie in einer besseren Kantine. Insgesamt enttäuschend.

Das Weihnachtsbuffet war doch eher einfach gehalten mit recht wenig Auswahl. Für einen typischen Weihnachtsteller ( Knödel, Rotkraut, Entenkeule) war zwar alles vorhanden aber wer Kartoffeln statt Knödel wollte, machte bereits eine lange Nase. Geschmacklich war das Ganze durchschnittlich, wobei mir persönlich die Ente ein wenig zu trocken war. Sehr schade war, das es beim Buffet keinerlei Speisen für Kinder gab. Ein par Pommes, Chicken Nuggets oder Nudeln wären für die kleinen Gäste gut gewesen. Diese musste man dann à pla carte nach ordern. Leider war das Personal am Buffet auch nicht mehr so mutiviert, sodass man sich den Teller hinterm Tresen erangeln musste, obwohl Personal da war und auch nicht wirklich beschäftigt. Die Atmosphäre fühlte sich eher so ein wenig nach Kantine an, was aber gut ins Gesamtbild passte. Ich würde es zumindest für das Weihnachtsbuffet bei dem Preis dann nächstes mal doch woanders probieren wollen.

Das Weihnachtsbuffet in der Lagune war heute leider ein absoluter Reinfall. Das Personal hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, war jedoch mit den vielen Gästen überfordert. Man musste am Buffet sehr lange anstehen. Die Auswahl war sehr gering. Das Essen entsprach insgesamt nicht der Qualität, die wir sonst von der Lagune gewohnt sind. Die benutzten Teller stapelten sich auf unseren Tischen. Wir waren heute sehr enttäuscht.

Uns gefällt es immer wieder. Mittlerweile Tradition gemeinsames Frühstück bevor der Weihnachtswahnsinn Vollgas gibt. 😉

Also für den Preis und die Bedienung zum Teil, erwartet man wirklich mehr. Dazu muss man aber sagen, das es auch nette und sehr Kundenorientierte Angestellte gab. Zum Beispiel die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett. Oder in der Küche und auch jemand der in der Kuchenausgabe gearbeitet hat, hatten selbst unter den stressigen Umständen ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Weshalb es nochmal einen Stern mehr bei Service gibt. :) Aber die jungen Damen am Tressen waren wohl nicht so Motiviert. Man begrüßt jemanden höflich und wird genervt und mit einem langen Gesicht, wie Ellenbogen auf der Theke begrüßt. Geht für mich als jemand der selbst aus der Gastro kommt so nicht. Auch das Essen, war ich für mich bestellt habe fand ich recht fade. Es schmeckte so, wie man es aus einer Kantine aus der Schule oder dem Krankenhaus erwarten würde. Aber nicht für den Stolzen Preis von 19,90 €

Es war nicht meins! Essen war mittelmäßig und mir persönlich zu wenig Auswahl! Aber trotzdem mega voll! Es ist auch nur mein Empfinden...

Service und Personal top, Sehr freundlich. Abendessen flop und zu teuer, geschmacklich schlecht und nur lau warm. Etwas unruhig.

Das Ambiente und der Service war gut. Aber das Essen war überhaupt nicht lecker. Die Waffeln haben richtig ekelhaft geschmeckt, das war mit Sicherheit ein Fertigteig, der überhaupt nicht nach Waffeln geschmeckt hat und durchgebacken war sie auch nicht. Ein Gefühl wie Knete im Mund. Sehr schade

Sehr enttäuschend. Das ganze Gebäude und der Eingangsbereich sieht sehr einladend und hochwertig aus. Wenn man dann drin ist und das Essen bestellt hat merkt man, dass man lieber wo anders essen sollte. Wenig Auswahl und geschmacklich grausam. Die Pommes waren gut und was positiv an dem Laden war sind die Waffeln. Die waren wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Das Eis welches dabei war war ebenfalls gut. Echt schade, dass man am Essen hier spart. Qualität nicht vorhanden. Nie wieder, sorry.

Autostadt Service auf höchstem Niveau.

Edit: since we last visited some points seem to have improved! Now the play area is separated and has an extra floor mat. The restaurant was also cleaner this time (went for diner). Self-service restaurant with a formerly nice design. Unfortunately it’s quite outdated by now. It’s also literally always dirty. Came to lunch right after the opening at 11:30 and some tables still had crumbs on them. The floor is always, always dirty. Not nice for people with small kids. Also there is a play area which is right next to the kitchen, no door no nothing. Again, not so great if you have to catch your toddler running towards it every 10 min.

Das Essen war grottenmäßig schlecht, für 21€ soetwas ist unglaublich! Rinderroulade + Wildgulasch übrigens.

Schönes Restaurant, waren zum Frühstück hier und es gab ein schönes Buffet.

Ein schönes Lokal um zu verweilen, wir waren zum Frühstück dort, es gibt eine gute Auswahl und das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wir werden wieder mal vorbeischauen. Macht weiter so! 😉

Frühstücks Buffet viel zu klein, und sehr wenig Auswahl....für so ein großes Restaurant und soviel Gäste sollte das Frühstücks Buffet größer sein. Reseviet ein Tisch für 2 Person...Tisch viel zu klein da passt gerade mal ein Frühstück für eine Person drauf.

Lieblos und ambitionslos. Das Management interessiert sich für Kritik offenbar nicht.

Tolle Sache, schön was besonderes.

Ich war am 11.10. schon zum 5ten mal in der Autostadt u. auch öfter in der Lagune um gut zu Essen! Wir sind an diesem Tag mit drei Personen in das Restaurant u. haben uns vom Tagesmenü etwas ausgewählt. Wir hätten auch gerne die legendäre Currywurst einmal genossen, haben wir wohl übersehen. Das Essen: Fisch u. Chips hat uns aber auch gemundet. Beim nächsten Besuch auf jedenfall die Currywurst! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist Okay. Es gab ja auch 30% / Abholer Eine freundliche Mitarbeiterin hat mich übrigens nett Angesprochen. ( Begegnet )

Teuer, undurchsichtig, echt enttäuschend. Moderne Wegelagerei

Man sitzt wie auf einem Bahnhof, ok, ist eben auf Massenabfertigung getrimmt. Essen ist aber guter Durchschnitt. Das echte Problem sind aber Flexibilität und Preisgestaltung. Thekengerichte nur exakt so, wie ausgeschrieben, kein Weglassen (z. B. Soße) oder Tausch (Kartoffeln statt Pommes) möglich, obwohl direkt daneben liegend. Preise teilweise gewohnt fix, teilweise aber auch nach Gewicht ohne Möglichkeit, zwischendurch mal Nachzuwiegen. Überraschung garantiert. Insgesamt sehr hohe Preise für Mittelmaß. Nunja, entweder man läuft ein paar Meter Richtung City oder man zahlt eben. War mal interessant, aber einmal reicht.

Das Essen war ein Fertiggericht und schmeckte dementsprechend auch nicht gut. Auf meiner Salatbeilage krabbelte ein Insekt. Dafür 13€ zu verlangen ist eindeutig zu viel. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Wir hatten eine bessere Qualität der Speisen hier erwartet und keine Autobahnrasthof Qualität und Atmosphäre.

Essenauswahl ist groß und reichhaltig. Die Servicemitarbeiter könnten freundlicher und motivierter sein. z.B. Waffeln werden nur ungern zubereitet. Achtung hier herrscht auch noch deutsche Pünktlichkeit. Eine Minute nach 11 einen Espresso bestellen ist dann nicht mehr möglich.
