Lovely place, if you want to savor the most genuine flavors of Puglia and I don't recommend it, an amazing parmigiana, competent and kind staff, practically worth stopping at least once if you are in Berlin. Well done guys, keep it up

Best italian food experience in Berlin

A huge disappointment - average Italian, not a bit better - and even worse - than in Castrop-Rauxel, Bottrop or Wanne-Eickel. Uninspired cuisine, unfriendly boss, uncomfortable lighting, sterile atmosphere. Overpriced and absolutely overrated. Not recommended.

The quality of the food was excellent and the dishes were tasteful. The cannolo in particular was very good! But when the espresso was brought to me, I discovered that the cup was cold and the coffee was only lukewarm. The service, however, couldn't quite keep up. The staff was friendly, but sometimes lacked attentiveness and speed. If things had gone a little more smoothly, the visit would have been significantly enhanced. The atmosphere also deserves a mention. The ambience seemed pleasant, but not outstanding. It lacked a bit of coziness and details that could make the experience special. Ristorante Lagalante is a good choice for a tasty meal, but there are some aspects that could be improved to round out the overall experience.

This is called authentic, honest Italian cuisine! The dishes Antonio creates are simply fantastic! The portions are absolutely sufficient and prepared with love! Every dish is a work of art in itself! The service was also super friendly and accommodating! Simply recommended from restaurateur to restaurateur, an experience for connoisseurs!

It was a celebration as always! A. Lagalante is a real artist in the kitchen, the service is great, the atmosphere is very familiar. If you like good authentic Italian cuisine like Nonna's, you've come to the right place! Thank you for the beautiful and incredibly delicious food!

To say that you eat well is an understatement. The constant change of the menu means that every time you have different experiences, and you travel through the dishes. Chef Antonio, through his experience and his origins, manages to create unique and unforgettable dishes every time, managing to mix up the dishes of Italian cuisine, keeping their soul intact. All accompanied by the small but rich cellar of good wine recommended by Metr Alice. What can I say, I will return as often as I can, and I recommend it to everyone. No one will ever be disappointed.

The food was delicious, it felt fansy but delicate and homely. Dessert didn't disappoint either. The waiting stuff was wery nice. I think the restaurant is a great date spot.

The starters were very good, unfortunately a bit overpriced. The main course of shrimp was unfortunately oversalted, but the noodles were excellent. The service is friendly, but you should be patient. And the portions could also be a bit more generous. All in all, a solid four star rating.

One of the few restaurants in Berlin that are open on Sundays. The outdoor seating is on the sidewalk (which is neither swept nor cleared of weeds). The view of the social housing block opposite can be changed by moving the chair. Grunewaldstrasse is relatively quiet on a Sunday evening. The menu has two main courses and many starters. Our first starter (sardines on fried polenta) is excellent. The gnocchi with shrimp isn't bad either. However, none of the dishes look like the photos on the restaurant's website. What a shame, a manipulated website that unfortunately has nothing to do with reality.

The waitress here was really unfriendly: we had to listen to a snarky comment several times that didn't exactly make us feel welcome. The correspondingly small tip was met with perceived disapproval and we weren't even said goodbye. Although the food wasn't bad, I wouldn't go there again.

We had a great evening with excellent food, good wine and great service. You can sit outside very nicely, but the restaurant is also stylishly decorated. The food was absolutely top class, rarely had such creative and good pasta. Homemade Malloreddus are a rarity. The wine was served to match the respective courses, harmonized well and was also reasonably priced. For me one of the best Italians in Berlin

We went to Lagalante for the first time yesterday because of the many good reviews. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute and nicely decorated. However, we sat outside. I found the chairs there very uncomfortable. The service was rather average. Not particularly attentive (I had to ask several times for a lighter to finally light the candles) and not particularly friendly either. We found the bread with olive oil for five euros sporty, considering that it is usually provided free of charge. As a starter we had the eggplant casserole. This was very tasty. My friend had the gnocchi with ricotta. Unfortunately, these were very sober and a bit boring. I had the pasta with beef neck, the consistency of the meat was very good and the pasta tasted homemade. However, I also missed the spice and that certain something here. Apart from the meat, there were only a few small pieces of carrot in the sauce. So the bottom line is that we found the experience OK, but considering the price level, we probably wouldn't go there again.

When you try Antonio's cuisine, it is practically impossible to try others. He never disappoints! The best Italian cuisine restaurant in all of Berlin!

Great class, very pleasant, trained service, large curated selection of good wines and very good cuisine. The interior design is also very nice, but there was a lot of use of fragrant lilies - a smell that I personally don't like. We tried the menu once and were thrilled with everything. If you're not a gourmand, it's best to just choose three dishes and skip primi or secondi. A very enjoyable evening, thank you very much.

after a long walk in the rain we found ourselves in front of this restaurant and we couldn't have come to a better place. Delicious dishes, good wine and a warm and relaxing environment. Ci sono stato più volte, sempre cibo e cucina di qualità. Personale gentile e cortese. Bella atmosfera. Nel cibo, per la presentazione e per il sapore del piatto si sente la forte passione e l'amore del cuoco per la cucina. Il consiglio è solo di venirlo a trovare. Inoltre ogni volta sempre menù con piatti nuovi, altra nota molto positiva. Uno delle migliori cucine qui a Berlino.

Einfach nicht hingehen! Menü war gruselig und es dauerte ewig. Gäste, die lange nach uns kamen wurden von uns bedient. Arroganter Service. Schade, wir hatten den guten Bewertungen vertraut.

Jubiläumsessen mehrgängig für 60 € die Person - das hätte uns stutzig werden lassen sollen. Hat es leider nicht. Kurz gesagt, das Essen war experimentell, aber die Küche war dem leider nicht gewachsen und das Ergebnis nicht einmal interessant. Zudem hat die Speisenfolge unzumutbar lange gedauert. Der Service war bemüht aber dennoch überfordert und letztlich waren wir uns einig, dass wir dieses Lokal zukünftig meiden werden. Schade eigentlich, denn nullachtfünfzehn italienische Lokale gibt es schon zuhauf.

Piatti che sembrano quadri , curati nei minimi particolari, ma soprattutto veramente buoni, in sala ci sono due ragazze molto attente alle esigenze del cliente, e soprattutto simpatiche, il menu non è molto ampio ma giusto, eravamo in quattro abbiamo ordinato 4 antipasti e quattro primi tutto veramente buono, poi quando abbiamo ordinato il dessert lo chef ci ha omaggiato di un brasato di maialino cotto a bassa temperatura, che nonostante fossimo tutti sazi , lo abbiamo divorato, un nota di merito anche per i dessert, insomma che dire tutto perfetto, a prezzi veramente molto contenuti, visto i piatti elaborati. Bravi un plauso a tutto lo staff continuate così e sicuramente il successo arriverà, non vedo l’ora di ritornarci.

Klein, fein, sehr gute italienische Küche. Die Speisekarte wechselt regelmäßig. Wir hatten ein phantastisches Vitello tonnato, grandiose Spaghetti mit Thinfisch-Tartar und ein high-end Tiramisu. Dazu einen tollen venezianischen Wein und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Ein überaus einfallsreicher Italiener, der geschickt klassische Zutaten neu kombiniert und modern anrichtet. Empfehlenswert ist immer und aufgrund der moderaten Portionen gut verträglich ein Trio aus antipasti, pasta und entweder Fisch oder Fleisch (wobei sie bei Fisch wie octopus, Muschelschaum oder schwarzen Spagetti mit Camaretti Ragout noch einen tic souveräner sind). Die Weinkarte ist erstaunlich fair kalkuliert und wer Freude an cremige, würzigen Rebsorten zwischen Chardonnay und Goldmuskateller steht, ist sehr gut bedient). Der Service, die Küche bringt die Teller persönlich, ist durchweg herzlich, verlangt aber auch manchmal, je nach Auslastung, etwas Geduld. Das Ambiente ist klar, gedämpft chic, soz eine Brasserietoria, vielleicht etwas eng, aber cozy, und im Sommer ist die grunewaldstrasse nicht so laut, um draußen zu sitzen. Ein reizender Platz, besonders für kleine Gruppen oder Valentinstage.

Modern angehauchte italienische Küche - tolle Präsentation der Speisen - auch sehr lecker - Preise in Ordnung - Service leider sehr langsam - 50 Minuten Wartezeit zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang bei insgesamt 9 Gästen und weniger als 10 Gerichten auf der Karte ist etwas lang.

This restaurant is the definition of very good looking dishes where the taste is far from the expected. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but given the price and the presentation of the food, you're expecting something from the next level which is not true. I had some risotto that could be better cooked and the overall taste was disappointing. Also had some green pasta that just tasted like spinach and had nothing else to balance it. The worst really was the fact that we waited more than 40mins between each dish (we had 4), which is unacceptable in my opinion and no apology was given from the waitress.

Sono stata più volte a mangiare in questo meraviglioso ristorante, e posso solo confermare l’ottima qualità degli ingredienti, la professionalità nella preparazione dei piatti e il servizio attento e cordiale. Qui si trovano i grandi classici della cucina italiana fatti a regola d’arte, ma anche tante proposte all’avanguardia come ad esempio stavolta il carpaccio di anguria, semplicemente strepitoso. Leider ist es so das bei den meisten Kunden immer im Vordergrund steht der Preis es geht immer nur um den Preis die Arbeit die dahinter steckt interessiert kein für ein Döner sieben Euro zu bezahlen kein Problem aber für vernünftiges Essen ist man immer am meckern. Wenn ich mir die negativen Bewertungen anschauen von denjenigen die hauptsächlich beim Griechen Zaziki essen und andere TK Ware bewerten fünf Sterne verstehe ich die Welt nicht mehr und denke ich bin im falschen Film . Von mir Antonio fünf Sterne Service Essen Ambiente macht weiter so am Ende ist es immer so. Fortza Napoli .

A true gastronomic experience. We visited this place twice and that was such amazing journeys. This is not a traditional Italian restaurant, more a place for creative cuisine lovers. We enjoyed every single minute, from the delicious food creations to the wine list. We also did like the decoration, the atmosphere of the place and the set up, so each guest can have a bit of space - this is really great (and rare). Thank your for everything !

Ich habe meinen runden Geburtstag im Lagalante gefeiert. Es war rundum phantastisch. Antonio ist nicht nur ein begnadeter Koch und Inhaber, er ist großzügig und authentisch wie seine kreativen Küchenzaubereien, sehr sympathisch und voller Hingabe in der Zubereitung der Speisen....wir waren alle sehr begeistert. Großes Kompliment an das Lagalante Team!!

Nice Italian food, friendly and accommodating stuff although maybe one person for all tables was too little. For that price range I would expect some more care around the dishes in terms of presenting them and talking them through. The deer meat was exceptional. We got it twice but the portions seemed very different in the plates with one bring significantly smaller. We enjoyed the small restaurant but for that price I think we'd probably try exploring new ones instead of revisiting.

Normalerweise mache ich nicht die Mühe, einen Kommentar zum Abendessen auswärts abzugeben, aber hier muss ich eine Ausnahme machen, so phänomenal war mein Dinner-Erlebnis im Restaurant Lagalante in Schöneberg. Der geschmackliche Höhepunkt waren Pennoni Al Pesto du Mare. Was ich mir beim Bestellen als simples Nudelgericht vorgestellt hatte, erwies sich schon beim ersten Bissen als Geschmacksexplosion. Ich befand mich unversehens in einem Gemälde Van Gogh's, eine Landschaft mit einem intensiven Geruch nach frischem Heu, sauberer Luft, reinem Wasser und ein Gefühl sonniger Wärme erfüllte meinen Körper. So etwas hatte ich noch nicht erlebt, nicht beim Essen. Während dieses Bild langsam verblasste, erkannte ich langsam einzelne Zutaten, wobei für mich die Spirulina-Alge herausstach. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und professionell, es gab keine langen Wartezeiten und die Preise waren angemessen, kurzum, mein Eindruck: fünf Sterne !

Ein kleines, sehr feines italienisches Restaurant mit Ambitionen. Es werden ausgesprochen schmackhafte Speisen in spezieller Zubereitung serviert - soetwas habe ich lange nicht erlebt (und geschmeckt). Die Portionen sind "übersichtlich" (so jedenfalls hätte Loriot sie bezeichnet). Sie schmecken hervorragend und sind damit ihren (relativ hohen) Preis wert. Naja, die Antipasti sind vom Preis her OK, die Preise für die Primi und Secondi sind etwas hoch, aber die Dolci sind bei ihrer Qualität absolut preiswert. Das frisch gebackene Brot war wohlschmeckend und knusprig, die empfohlenen Weine haben uns gut geschmeckt und harmonierten mit den Speisen. Die beiden Damen vom Service waren aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Uns 4 Leuten haben die jeweils 2 bzw. 3 Gänge jedenfalls sehr, sehr gut gemundet - wir kommen sicher wieder. Für mich war das Dessert des Tages die Krönung des Abends: Ein Zitronen-Dessert mit weisser Schoko-Mousse gefüllt mit Biergelee auf Mandelstreuseln, absolut lecker! Italian restaurant with experimental dishes, don't come here for carbonara :) but uou will find great appetizers with marinated shrimps or slow cooked meat, pasta stuffed with tuna - very good - or pesto made with seabeans instead of basil. Dessert not as good as the rest for our taste, very complex. Nice atmosphere, we will be back!

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare con amici. Ambiente curato, personale gentile e accogliente. Particolare è l'attenzione dello chef nella preparazione dei piatti, l'attenzione nella scelta delle materie prime e tanta è la passione. Tutto ottimo, cucina italiana rivisitata e di qualità. Se tornerò a Berlino ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen hier und wir wurden leider sehr enttäuscht. Die 2 Sterne vergebe ich allein für das Essen. Qualität und Geschmack haben hier überzeugt. Lediglich einen kleinen Abzug muss ich geben für die Garnelen als Vorspeise. Die waren leider tot gekocht/gegrillt. Die Sauce allerdings war sehr interessant und geschmacklich Top. Wir haben über 2Stunden auf den Hauptgang gewartet. Zwischen der Vorspeise und dem Hauptgang lagen 1,5Stunden. Ein No-Go für ein Restaurant wie Lagalante. Scheinbar war das aber völlig normal, denn es kam keine Entschuldigung oder Begründung warum es so lange dauert. Um 21:44Uhr haben wir nach langem Warten (19:30Uhr waren wir im Restaurant) gefragt wann das Essen kommt. Ca. 15Min später kam das Essen. Olivenöl und Brot musste man extra bestellen und zahlen. In keinem anderen Restaurant in Berlin in der Preiskategorie hab ich das erlebt. Wir hätten gern ein Nachtisch bestellt aber haben es nicht gemacht weil es mittlerweile 22:45Uhr war und wir nicht ewig auf Dessert warten wollten. Ich kann das Restaurant leider nicht weiter empfehlen, weil für mich Essen und Service den gleichen Stellenwert haben.

This restaurant was terrible. We waited over two hours for our food. It was cold and very underwhelming. Nothing special but also really just not good. The waitstaff acted as though we were crazy for wondering where our food was. Would not recommend.

Man merkt das viel Liebe im Essen steckt. Trotzdem hat meiner Partnerin und mir die Finesse gefehlt. Kein Gericht hat ein Wow-Erlebnis erzeugt, es besteht eine große Lücke zwischen Präsentation und Geschmack - da dieser teilweise einfach fehlt. Basics wie ein gutes Olivenöl/Salz zum Brot fehlten. Ich würde nicht nochmal hingehen, aber auch nicht davon abraten. Bei 150€ für zwei Personen hätte ich jedoch mehr erwartet. Wir hatten trotzdem ein netten Abend, die Weinauswahl war hervorragend!

Unserer 5. Besuch war leider enttäuschend. Nach 2h Besuch und halbvollen Weingläsern wurden wir aufgefordert in 10min zu gehen, da unser Platz neu verbucht wurde. Wir haben uns unseren Hochzeitstag anders vorgestellt.

Ausgefallen Italienische Küche, sehr schön angerichtet und ausgewogen.
