Without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Berlin. Antonio, owner and chef, delighted us by transmitting all his passion and experience into his dishes. 100% Italian raw materials and flavors. Antonio is an innkeeper who, more than making you feel at home, makes you feel better than at home. Compliments also go to his collaborators who were very kind. Mandatory stop for anyone in Berlin!!!

It was so exciting to find Lagalante. The service is over the top, the starters are finally a different and sexy offer. We tried the beef tongue , cod with horseradish and Facciolo with mussels, impossible to choose a favorite. I look forward to going back there and try the new dishes. The staff explained that they add new dishes every week. Don’t forget the wine, the white from Sicily really matched the dinner. Thank you and see you soon

Simply speechless really! A miracle for the taste buds! In the heart of Berlin a small restaurant but cuisine and service at the highest levels. I'm not one to look for Italian places to eat abroad but a friend recommended it to me! I looked it up and fell in love with it. You can't miss trying the creamed cod starter and the sea bass main course! You will be amazed to welcome top quality food again and again. Very good wine. Amazing staff and chef!

Shoneberg area, living nearby I'm lucky enough to be able to go there more frequently but I recommend everyone to go to this Italian restaurant, you will find the most traditional things of Italian cuisine such as parmigiana, lasagna, carbonanra etc. Or dishes revisited by the chef. Every time I go I think about the next time I will go 10/10 also the super friendly and helpful service

I celebrated my birthday at Lagalante Ristorante and it was an unforgettable experience - a true culinary dream. Every dish was a masterpiece in quality and taste. The Lagalante family's olive oil showed the curiosity to discover new flavors in Germany. -The tuna tartare in Bauda was incredibly fresh, a perfect combination of delicate ingredients that worked brilliantly together. -The beef carpaccio, octopus with chef's gnocchetti and parsley oil, beans and chicory, and tagliatelle alla Bolognese were simply excellent and demonstrated exceptional care in the selection and preparation of ingredients. -The meat with marrow bones - indescribable - was incredibly tender and flavorful. Finally, the tiramisu was the perfect culmination of a perfect evening. The place is stunning, elegant and welcoming. Chef Antonio deserves more than just an excellent rating: his talent in the kitchen is exceptional. Kudos also to Matteo and Betty for the impeccable service, which made the evening even more special. Last but not least, I felt at home even though I was on vacation. Lagalante is a place I would return to without hesitation. Thank you for making my birthday so special! The two of us were in the restaurant for the first time and we were really looking forward to the evening! Unfortunately, the service was very arrogant and rather unfriendly (which only applies to one of 2 employees). The appetizers were amazing! We were very disappointed with the main courses (both pasta dishes) - both cooked too long and the gnocci had no salt (I only ate 4 of them and left the rest) and like a sponge in my mouth.. the lasagna was way too cooked but the taste was very good! Actually we would have had another dessert (but we weren't asked) so we paid at the counter after no one came to the table! After we mentioned that we were dissatisfied with the main courses, we were questioned in a condescending manner instead of apologizing and we were also not given the option of choosing a dish from the menu... the bottom line was that the service was very, very bad and not very customer oriented! Even for a starter, 2 beers and 2 main courses that were absolutely bad, €70 isn't really that little! Never again!!

Lagalante un ottimo Ristorante Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno da Lagalante Ristorante ed è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile, un vero sogno culinario. Ogni piatto era un capolavoro di qualità e gusto. L’olio della famiglia Lagalante ha dimostrato la curiosità di far scoprire nuovi sapori in Germania. La tartare di tonno in Bauda era freschissima, una combinazione perfetta di ingredienti delicati che si sposavano magnificamente. Il carpaccio di manzo, il polipo con gnocchetti e l’olio al prezzemolo fatto dallo Chef, fave e cicorie, e le tagliatelle alla bolognese erano semplicemente eccellenti, dimostrando una cura estrema nella selezione degli ingredienti e nella loro preparazione. La carne con il midollo, non si riesce a spiegare, era fin troppo tenera e saporita. Per concludere, il tiramisù era il degno coronamento di una serata perfetta. Il posto è strepitoso, elegante e accogliente. Lo Chef Antonio merita più che una semplice ottima recensione: il suo talento in cucina è fuori dal comune. Complimenti anche a Matteo e Betty per il servizio impeccabile, che hanno reso la serata ancora più speciale. Mi sono sentita a casa, anche essendo in vacanza. Lagalante è un luogo dove tornerei senza pensarci due volte. Grazie per aver reso il mio compleanno così speciale! Meravigliosa esperienza trascorsa nel ristorante Lagalante con la mia famiglia per il pranzo di Natale. Piatti rivisitati in chiave moderna davvero raffinati e delicati accompagnati da un servizio eccellente. Da Antonio ci siamo sentiti a casa, anche se lontano da casa. Per concludere abbiamo ricevuto un prezioso ricordo da portare a casa: cantucci artigianali fatti con le loro mani. Grazie a tutto lo staff per questo meraviglioso pranzo.

Wonderful experience spent in the Lagalante restaurant with my family for Christmas lunch. Dishes revisited in a modern key, truly refined and delicate, accompanied by excellent service. At Antonio's we felt at home, even though far from home. To conclude we received a precious souvenir to take home: artisanal cantucci made with their own hands. I want to thank all the staff for the enchanting experience spent at LaGalante. Breathtaking cuisine, attentive to detail, with a well-defined and studied idea at the base which shines through in all the peculiarities of all 5 dishes I ate: colors and quality of the raw materials, plating, flavour, wine pairing that the waitresses they are always kind enough to recommend each course… not to mention the truly top atmosphere (music included). The service has always been attentive and helpful! I thought I would go to any Italian restaurant, but for me it was a journey that took me back to Italy and beyond... (I must say that I have eaten even worse in Italy) I want to recommend this restaurant to all the people who want to enjoy a dinner that goes beyond the classic standards of Italian cuisine (because come on, that's what (almost) everyone can do) 😂😂 No unpleasant surprises (prices included). As long as I live in Berlin I will definitely come back again and again… thank you ❤️

Lovely place, if you want to savor the most genuine flavors of Puglia and I don't recommend it, a killer parmigiana, competent and kind staff, practically worth stopping at least once if you are in Berlin. Well done guys, keep it up

Best italian food experience in Berlin

A huge disappointment - average Italian, not a bit better - and even worse - than in Castrop-Rauxel, Bottrop or Wanne-Eickel. Uninspired cuisine, unfriendly boss, uncomfortable lighting, sterile atmosphere. Overpriced and absolutely overrated. Not recommended.

The quality of the food was excellent and the dishes were tasteful. The cannolo in particular was very good! But when the espresso was brought to me, I discovered that the cup was cold and the coffee was only lukewarm. The service, however, couldn't quite keep up. The staff was friendly, but sometimes lacked attentiveness and speed. If things had gone a little more smoothly, the visit would have been significantly enhanced. The atmosphere also deserves a mention. The ambience seemed pleasant, but not outstanding. It lacked a bit of coziness and details that could make the experience special. Ristorante Lagalante is a good choice for a tasty meal, but there are some aspects that could be improved to round out the overall experience.

This is called authentic, honest Italian cuisine! The dishes Antonio creates are simply fantastic! The portions are absolutely sufficient and prepared with love! Every dish is a work of art in itself! The service was also super friendly and accommodating! Simply recommended from restaurateur to restaurateur, an experience for connoisseurs!

To say that you eat well is an understatement. The constant change of the menu means that every time you have different experiences, and you travel through the dishes. Chef Antonio, through his experience and his origins, manages to create unique and unforgettable dishes every time, managing to mix up the dishes of Italian cuisine, keeping their soul intact. All accompanied by the small but rich cellar of good wine recommended by Metr Alice. What can I say, I will return as often as I can, and I recommend it to everyone. No one will ever be disappointed.

The starters were very good, unfortunately a bit overpriced. The main course of shrimp was unfortunately oversalted, but the noodles were excellent. The service is friendly, but you should be patient. And the portions could also be a bit more generous. All in all, a solid four star rating.

The food was delicious, it felt fansy but delicate and homely. Dessert didn't disappoint either. The waiting stuff was wery nice. I think the restaurant is a great date spot.

One of the few restaurants in Berlin that are open on Sundays. The outdoor seating is on the sidewalk (which is neither swept nor cleared of weeds). The view of the social housing block opposite can be changed by moving the chair. Grunewaldstrasse is relatively quiet on a Sunday evening. The menu has two main courses and many starters. Our first starter (sardines on fried polenta) is excellent. The gnocchi with shrimp isn't bad either. However, none of the dishes look like the photos on the restaurant's website. What a shame, a manipulated website that unfortunately has nothing to do with reality.

The waitress here was really unfriendly: we had to listen to a snarky comment several times that didn't exactly make us feel welcome. The correspondingly small tip was met with perceived disapproval and we weren't even said goodbye. Although the food wasn't bad, I wouldn't go there again.

We had a great evening with excellent food, good wine and great service. You can sit outside very nicely, but the restaurant is also stylishly decorated. The food was absolutely top class, rarely had such creative and good pasta. Homemade Malloreddus are a rarity. The wine was served to match the respective courses, harmonized well and was also reasonably priced. For me one of the best Italians in Berlin

We went to Lagalante for the first time yesterday because of the many good reviews. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute and nicely decorated. However, we sat outside. I found the chairs there very uncomfortable. The service was rather average. Not particularly attentive (I had to ask several times for a lighter to finally light the candles) and not particularly friendly either. We found the bread with olive oil for five euros sporty, considering that it is usually provided free of charge. As a starter we had the eggplant casserole. This was very tasty. My friend had the gnocchi with ricotta. Unfortunately, these were very sober and a bit boring. I had the pasta with beef neck, the consistency of the meat was very good and the pasta tasted homemade. However, I also missed the spice and that certain something here. Apart from the meat, there were only a few small pieces of carrot in the sauce. So the bottom line is that we found the experience OK, but considering the price level, we probably wouldn't go there again.

When you try Antonio's cuisine, it is practically impossible to try others. He never disappoints! The best Italian cuisine restaurant in all of Berlin!

Great class, very pleasant, trained service, large curated selection of good wines and very good cuisine. The interior design is also very nice, but there was a lot of use of fragrant lilies - a smell that I personally don't like. We tried the menu once and were thrilled with everything. If you're not a gourmand, it's best to just choose three dishes and skip primi or secondi. A very enjoyable evening, thank you very much.

Einfach nicht hingehen! Menü war gruselig und es dauerte ewig. Gäste, die lange nach uns kamen wurden von uns bedient. Arroganter Service. Schade, wir hatten den guten Bewertungen vertraut.

Ci sono stato più volte, sempre cibo e cucina di qualità. Personale gentile e cortese. Bella atmosfera. Nel cibo, per la presentazione e per il sapore del piatto si sente la forte passione e l'amore del cuoco per la cucina. Il consiglio è solo di venirlo a trovare. Inoltre ogni volta sempre menù con piatti nuovi, altra nota molto positiva. Uno delle migliori cucine qui a Berlino.

Jubiläumsessen mehrgängig für 60 € die Person - das hätte uns stutzig werden lassen sollen. Hat es leider nicht. Kurz gesagt, das Essen war experimentell, aber die Küche war dem leider nicht gewachsen und das Ergebnis nicht einmal interessant. Zudem hat die Speisenfolge unzumutbar lange gedauert. Der Service war bemüht aber dennoch überfordert und letztlich waren wir uns einig, dass wir dieses Lokal zukünftig meiden werden. Schade eigentlich, denn nullachtfünfzehn italienische Lokale gibt es schon zuhauf.

Piatti che sembrano quadri , curati nei minimi particolari, ma soprattutto veramente buoni, in sala ci sono due ragazze molto attente alle esigenze del cliente, e soprattutto simpatiche, il menu non è molto ampio ma giusto, eravamo in quattro abbiamo ordinato 4 antipasti e quattro primi tutto veramente buono, poi quando abbiamo ordinato il dessert lo chef ci ha omaggiato di un brasato di maialino cotto a bassa temperatura, che nonostante fossimo tutti sazi , lo abbiamo divorato, un nota di merito anche per i dessert, insomma che dire tutto perfetto, a prezzi veramente molto contenuti, visto i piatti elaborati. Bravi un plauso a tutto lo staff continuate così e sicuramente il successo arriverà, non vedo l’ora di ritornarci.

Klein, fein, sehr gute italienische Küche. Die Speisekarte wechselt regelmäßig. Wir hatten ein phantastisches Vitello tonnato, grandiose Spaghetti mit Thinfisch-Tartar und ein high-end Tiramisu. Dazu einen tollen venezianischen Wein und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Ein überaus einfallsreicher Italiener, der geschickt klassische Zutaten neu kombiniert und modern anrichtet. Empfehlenswert ist immer und aufgrund der moderaten Portionen gut verträglich ein Trio aus antipasti, pasta und entweder Fisch oder Fleisch (wobei sie bei Fisch wie octopus, Muschelschaum oder schwarzen Spagetti mit Camaretti Ragout noch einen tic souveräner sind). Die Weinkarte ist erstaunlich fair kalkuliert und wer Freude an cremige, würzigen Rebsorten zwischen Chardonnay und Goldmuskateller steht, ist sehr gut bedient). Der Service, die Küche bringt die Teller persönlich, ist durchweg herzlich, verlangt aber auch manchmal, je nach Auslastung, etwas Geduld. Das Ambiente ist klar, gedämpft chic, soz eine Brasserietoria, vielleicht etwas eng, aber cozy, und im Sommer ist die grunewaldstrasse nicht so laut, um draußen zu sitzen. Ein reizender Platz, besonders für kleine Gruppen oder Valentinstage.
