The meat burrito was unfortunately very disappointing. The rice was clumpy and too firm. Also, the veggie in quesadillas didn't have any salt at all.

The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. It gives a Mexican vibe but the food is absolutely worst. They took some premade chicken and some lettuce on top of so-called taco tortilla and one with rind was unbeatable. we ordered tacos and quesadilla but they both looked the same and had the same stuffing. I will absolutely not recommend to this place. just buy all of the stuff I mentioned and make it at home, and I bet it will taste better!

The food was a huge disappointment! Unfortunately we didn't like it at all. Mexican can be so delicious and it doesn't really take much. Totally bland, and there was only some chicken and some salad in a sticky cold wrap... In the other dish there was no additional indefinable sauce. It's a shame, and that for the price, which was initially set too high. We were attracted by the interesting interior and the upbeat Latino music as we walked past, but we left very dissatisfied. Never again!

20 minute line for cold tacos. Relatives and friends have priority. Waste of time.

We were in Mexico 2 years ago and every time I get wanderlust for this country we go to this store. Very authentic Mexican and incredibly nice staff 😊 I don't write reviews on Google, but this is a must!

Carnitas tacos are good, there is a lot of lemon and sauces. The service is fast and they taste good. The corn tortillas can improve, they taste very commercial. Although it is difficult to get good tortillas.

Ordered 3 quesadillas with Uber Eats. The things arrived blank filled with 3 different meat fillings. Nothing else in it, no onions, coriander, guacomole, no lime - nada. The “Real Mexican Food” sticker doesn’t help anymore.

We were there before the "Tito & Tarantula" concert to get in the mood. You really feel like you're in a street food shop somewhere in Mexico. Authentically lively atmosphere. The margaritas are amazing! You order food and drinks from the very friendly staff and bring them to the table yourself. Payment is made directly when ordering. They put on music from “Tito & Tarantula” especially for us after I told them that we were going to the concert afterwards. We will definitely come back.

An excellent option to escape from everyday life. The food is spectacular and the value for money is excellent. I have no complaints about the service or anything else.

Unfortunately, it's not really my thing. The food is okay, but maybe it's just me who just doesn't like Mexican food... The taste was a bit bland, and the presentation was anything but special. The place has a playful charm, like a student dorm or backyard Asian restaurant, but I don't like that as much here as elsewhere, where it's simply more authentic.

I tried 3 quesadillas, I don't recommend the potato quesadilla with chorizo, the potato tasted very strange, I didn't like the chicken with mole quesadilla either, only the carnitas taco. The attention is very bad. The cashier boy is not friendly at all

Unfortunately, as a Mexican, I was disappointed. Honestly, the wraps have been kept for too long, so you probably think that the corn tortillas don't need to be warmed up...just like the chicken wasn't deshebrado, but cut into cubes...also cold. AND PLEASEEE, no Salsa Mexicana (which you now call pico de gallo in Germany) on the rice! And WHO will dip the tamales in butter please! Terrible no-gos that absolutely kill the taste. So it's okay for people who have never been to Mexico...maybe a few Latinos who don't know any better will forgive...but my heart cried. And €40 in the bin for it. Sorry, I'd rather stick to La Condesa. They know how to make tacos and green chilaquiles. Please get coached by Mexican women urgently.

The best tacos I’ve had in Germany so far 😋 Seems very authentic. Their mole is delicious! My favorite tacos were the cochinita pibil and the mole con pollo! They also have other meals like chilaquiles, enchiladas, pozole, etc. Definitely will be coming back. By the way, they sell mole, tortillas and some other grocery items for you to take home 👌🏽

I was there yesterday and bought 4 tacos (11.50€). I'm blown away. Authentic Mexican food with good ambience and the tacos were great! My absolute number 1 recommendation.

Upon entering I felt like I was in Mexico. The food is delicious and there is a wide variety of typical Mexican dishes. They don't have WiFi and perhaps the heating is not so good.

Typical Mexican street food at moderate prices. From 12:45 onwards there are lots of children from the neighboring school. Also sells Mexican products (e.g. canned food, chili sauce)

Rustic simpler atmosphere. Food tastes very good, but I find it too expensive for the portion sizes. The exception is the Burrito Bowl, I definitely get full here 👍🏼 There is a star deduction for the tip setting on the card payment device, which asks for a tip every time. The no tip button is tiny. Orders and payment are made at the checkout. The customer collects the food from the cash register when the buzzer rings. There is no service that, in my opinion, would justify a tip.

I found the place by chance. I ate a cochinita burrito and it was very delicious. A very friendly guy helped me. But the best of all was the music, pure salsa. I loved it.

My husband and I stopped by today, and we can honestly say we are pleased. I had tacos de carnitas and a Jamaica, while he had a cochinita pibil burrito and a horchata. The carnitas were tender and flavorful. The burrito was good as well, only wished we got a little bit more chips on the side. The place is small but it's clean and has a good vibe. The decorations and music are a plus.

Not recommended!!!!! I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl and halfway through eating I found a few pieces of meat in it. Then the staff told me they would replace it and I got a new one, and there was meat in that one too. I totally recommend this restaurant, I felt like at home, one of my favorite foods is the mole poblano and the chicken with mole that they offer there took me back to those days when my mother cooked for the family. Still looking for tacos like in Mexico, we discovered La Taqueria in Munich. We went in, it was small, cramped and lovingly decorated, and I immediately heard that the guys behind the bar spoke Spanish - a good sign. We ordered one of each taco and were impressed. They have corn tortillas and we were even able to purchase some. We were very happy about that. We ordered another round of tacos and nachos. Very, very tasty. Gladly again and again!

Food and local very authentic Mexican! Wall painting, decoration like in Mexico. The food was super tasty, perfectly balanced with spices and sauces! I can only recommend :) (I think all the bad reviews have never been to Mexico!!!)

Kind of delicious. But not suitable for delivery. Ordered 12 tacos, one of them wrong... no problem. Tacos with chorizo ​​are rather problematic. You look for chorizo ​​with a magnifying glass, the potatoes are more than crispy, rather rock hard and dry. The remaining tacos tasted okay, but not particularly. The biggest problem was that all the tacos tore when you lifted them and you had to spoon the topping with taco scraps. So definitely not something to have delivered to your home. Charging 2.50 for the extra pico de gallo is cheeky. That was a maximum of 2 level tablespoons. I know the sauces are fruitier and have more of a kick. All in all, it's okay for Munich, but nothing more.

Had a burrito there this evening. On the way home my stomach started to rebel. When I got home I had to throw up. I don't wish it on anyone.

The pork tacos are tasty, just slightly soggy, but the veggie ones are bland and could use more taste. Michelada cubano with Modelo was very nice and spicy, definitely one of the better ones I have tried. I wish they would offer different salsas. One small portion of one salsa is very little for 4 tacos.

Lukewarm tamales reheated in the oven are really disappointing. And the tacos are tiny and come standard without any sauce.

Calling it authentic is really a joke. Food tastes like nothing. Never had such a bad Mexican meal in Germany. Staff gossips in Spanish while you order. Absolutely not recommended.

Completely screwed up our order. Instead of wheat wraps they gave us corn ones, instead of 20 they gave us ten and completely forgot the guacamole. I explicitly asked if they had checked the order and they said „yes, we have“. As my wife ordered and I picked up it was difficult for me to check.

Super tasty taco shop. Unfortunately a bit expensive but that's to be expected in Munich. Definitely recommended for me personally, the Mexican roast pork was a highlight!

The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. I have eaten many tacos and these are among the least pleasant. I ordered the combo of 4 assorted tacos. None were good enough to eat again. You can even notice the frozen chamber flavor in the meat. The place is more of a hallway where they have placed some tables and chairs. Mexican decoration is basically a painted wall and some flags. The cooks are friendly and pleasant. With all the options around, I would not return to this place.

We went there and asked for tacos (Carnitas, Pollo La Taqueria, Camote and Azteca) and quesadillas (Camote and Carnitas) as well as nachos Especial. The food preparation was really fast (a definite plus for me) and everything tasted amazing and not very spicy. Special shout out to the taco Carnitas as well as to both vegetarian options. We drank a pair of Micheladas, which were delicious. The place itself looks vibrant and colorful, with cool Día de los Muertos figurines on the hallway. Recommend! PS. You can also buy pre-made food here and heat it at home :)

I'm not Mexican. As a Latina living in Munich this place can satisfy my urge for corn and tacos. Tacos de carnitas are good enough to kill the cravings at a decent Munich price. Plus, the staff speaks Spanish. Don't expect it to be similar to getting tacos de carreta in Mexico though.

If you like authentic Mexican food you will find it here. Everything from hot to mild is possible, and the taste is also great. For Mexico lovers, there are also a few foods (various chilies, refried beans, etc.) available to purchase. I can recommend it without reservation, only the noise in the restaurant is a bit high but that is largely due to the crowds, word gets around about good food.

The selection is large and the classics are there. It tastes good. The vegetarian fillings are quite bland, but I liked the ones with chicken and the ones with beef that I tried. But since it is 100% self service, I think the prices are too high.

No joke: There is no better shop for burritos and Mexican finger food in Munich. It is always cooked according to traditional recipes and the people really know what they are doing. The ambience is classic taquería and invites you to linger for a while, but that's all you need. I used to be there every week and I'm not there now.

I discovered the place. I didn't look at the price, I went in and ordered a burrito and a beer. 18 euros (OMG). It wasn't very big, I had to go to a doner afterwards. I won't go back, it's a better place all around.

Options not only to eat there at the restaurant, but also to buy and take home to prepare with family or friends. Ordered a Mega burrito which costs a surcharge to have more meat. Then added medium guac. Look at the picture, there’s barely any inside?! Oh yeah and extra chicken, forget about it, like 4 pieces total. Instead a soggy mess that was mush. Won’t be going back again. How hard is it to make a burrito right? Shockingly bad. You should be ashamed.

I had tacos de carnitas. The tortilla was a disgrace, they would all fall apart. For the love of God, just put two tortillas for each taco. Taste was okay-ish. Toilets not clean, not baby friendly (didn't find a nappy change station)

Please, on behalf of a fellow Mexican, this is not real Mexican food. Out authentic cuisine is so much more flavorful. This is like fast food Mexican at best.

I've been here a few times and overall, it's a great shop with okay food. The store is great because it has a large and great selection of Mexican products (including drinks). So if you're planning to cook Mexican, this is a great place to do your shopping. The food itself is only okay because the tacos and their filling don't blow me away. With Chorizo ​​con Papas I asked myself where the chorizo ​​was, there was no indication of chorizo ​​either in terms of color or taste. Tamales rather boring. Unfortunately tortillas were a bit dry. The pier is probably the best thing I tried. Overall, for Munich tacos, Condesa is ahead in Münchner Freiheit. In terms of price, Cometa is better, at least when it comes to food. In addition, Cometa operates as a small shop, which is pretty cool.

Great authentic Mexican food and very friendly staff!

The food tasted okay, but no table was cleaned. The plates the food was served on were dirty. In addition, the four tacos were very carelessly prepared and only garnished with the cheapest iceberg lettuce on which flies were still dancing.

I recently ordered from La Taqueria for the first time to try something new. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but positive, and it will probably stay just this one time. My burrito, which I ordered to go, was a bitter disappointment. It was dry and tasteless, which was a shame because I was looking forward to a delicious Mexican dish. Although it is difficult to find authentic Mexican cuisine in Munich, there are definitely some restaurants that at least taste good. Unfortunately, I missed that at La Taqueria. The burrito had neither the fresh seasoning nor the juicy ingredients that you would expect from a good Mexican dish. Overall it lacked flavor and texture which made the eating experience very unsatisfying. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend La Taqueria. There are certainly better options in Munich if you're craving Mexican food.

Best tacos in germany after 10 years living here! Plus goodies from mexico

This is a nice little place but mixed feelings about the food. There is a lot of good to be said about it, like the corn tortillas and nacho chips being good, but then you have things like that nachos being served with sliced rather than grated cheese and that the cheese is not sufficiently melted – or a chicken filling that just tastes of creamy sauce with just a smallest hint of the promised salsa verde, onion and coriander rather than bursting with flavour. Menu was promising and some ingredients are good – and yet we ended up rather disappointed…

Food is okay, but portions are too small for the price.

I left very disappointed in the place since they use Mexican products, however the food is not good at all, in general nothing we ordered was even passable although the place smelled very good. Excellent service and location just bad food here.

The food was good and the place is quite nice. The service could improve, I asked for my order without onions and they forgot, they never asked me how spicy I wanted and when I asked for some spicy sauce they told me they were going to ask if they still had it and they never told me anything again. The bathroom was really dirty.

Ate there once in March 2023. Had the mega burrito and nachos. They were amazing. EASILY best Mexican food I had. Nice place, good atmosphere and very tasty food. It’s a good thing they are 8 hours away from my house or I’d eat there every week.

Unfortunately my experience at the Taquería did not meet my expectations. I visited the place for the first time and ordered some enchiladas that came with rice and beans. The rice was cold and the chips in the beans were from a bag, which surprised me since I was expecting them to make their own chips. The enchiladas were filled with chicken, but the chicken was diced (half-chilled) rather than shredded, which affected the texture of the dish. Furthermore, the taste was quite bland. I think that for such a basic Mexican dish, they could prepare it in a more appropriate way and with a better presentation. I hope they can improve these aspects in the future as they have the potential to offer a much more authentic experience.
