Perfect carnitas street tacos and a margarita to knock you out❤️👍❤️. Unexpected find and had to stop after passed it by a few times. So much filling that I would have loved an extra tortilla to divide all that goodness🌵

I ordered via Lieferando and the delivery time in the app kept increasing for a full 3 HOURS because there was probably no driver there to deliver the order. Sry, what's going on? It was the only order from you this way.

Ordered a Mega burrito which costs a surcharge to have more meat. Then added medium guac. Look at the picture, there’s barely any inside?! Oh yeah and extra chicken, forget about it, like 4 pieces total. Instead a soggy mess that was mush. Won’t be going back again. How hard is it to make a burrito right? Shockingly bad. You should be ashamed.

Rustic simpler atmosphere. Food tastes very good, but I find it too expensive for the portion sizes. The exception is the Burrito Bowl, I definitely get full here 👍🏼 There is a star deduction for the tip setting on the card payment device, which asks for a tip every time. The no tip button is tiny. Orders and payment are made at the checkout. The customer collects the food from the cash register when the buzzer rings. There is no service that, in my opinion, would justify a tip.

I had tacos de carnitas. The tortilla was a disgrace, they would all fall apart. For the love of God, just put two tortillas for each taco. Taste was okay-ish. Toilets not clean, not baby friendly (didn't find a nappy change station)

Please, on behalf of a fellow Mexican, this is not real Mexican food. Out authentic cuisine is so much more flavorful. This is like fast food Mexican at best.

I've been here a few times and overall, it's a great shop with okay food. The store is great because it has a large and great selection of Mexican products (including drinks). So if you're planning to cook Mexican, this is a great place to do your shopping. The food itself is only okay because the tacos and their filling don't blow me away. With Chorizo ​​con Papas I asked myself where the chorizo ​​was, there was no indication of chorizo ​​either in terms of color or taste. Tamales rather boring. Unfortunately tortillas were a bit dry. The pier is probably the best thing I tried. Overall, for Munich tacos, Condesa is ahead in Münchner Freiheit. In terms of price, Cometa is better, at least when it comes to food. In addition, Cometa operates as a small shop, which is pretty cool.

Great authentic Mexican food and very friendly staff!

The food tasted okay, but no table was cleaned. The plates the food was served on were dirty. In addition, the four tacos were very carelessly prepared and only garnished with the cheapest iceberg lettuce on which flies were still dancing.

I recently ordered from La Taqueria for the first time to try something new. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but positive, and it will probably stay just this one time. My burrito, which I ordered to go, was a bitter disappointment. It was dry and tasteless, which was a shame because I was looking forward to a delicious Mexican dish. Although it is difficult to find authentic Mexican cuisine in Munich, there are definitely some restaurants that at least taste good. Unfortunately, I missed that at La Taqueria. The burrito had neither the fresh seasoning nor the juicy ingredients that you would expect from a good Mexican dish. Overall it lacked flavor and texture which made the eating experience very unsatisfying. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend La Taqueria. There are certainly better options in Munich if you're craving Mexican food.

This is a nice little place but mixed feelings about the food. There is a lot of good to be said about it, like the corn tortillas and nacho chips being good, but then you have things like that nachos being served with sliced rather than grated cheese and that the cheese is not sufficiently melted – or a chicken filling that just tastes of creamy sauce with just a smallest hint of the promised salsa verde, onion and coriander rather than bursting with flavour. Menu was promising and some ingredients are good – and yet we ended up rather disappointed…

Food is okay, but portions are too small for the price.

The food was good and the place is quite nice. The service could improve, I asked for my order without onions and they forgot, they never asked me how spicy I wanted and when I asked for some spicy sauce they told me they were going to ask if they still had it and they never told me anything again. The bathroom was really dirty.

I left very disappointed in the place since they use Mexican products, however the food is not good at all, in general nothing we ordered was even passable although the place smelled very good. Excellent service and location just bad food here.

The quantity was huge for the burrito bowl. Taste was good too, not exceptional. One of the good Mexican places I’ve visited in Munich. Plus point was the availability of margaritas.

Ate there once in March 2023. Had the mega burrito and nachos. They were amazing. EASILY best Mexican food I had. Nice place, good atmosphere and very tasty food. It’s a good thing they are 8 hours away from my house or I’d eat there every week.

Unfortunately my experience at the Taquería did not meet my expectations. I visited the place for the first time and ordered some enchiladas that came with rice and beans. The rice was cold and the chips in the beans were from a bag, which surprised me since I was expecting them to make their own chips. The enchiladas were filled with chicken, but the chicken was diced (half-chilled) rather than shredded, which affected the texture of the dish. Furthermore, the taste was quite bland. I think that for such a basic Mexican dish, they could prepare it in a more appropriate way and with a better presentation. I hope they can improve these aspects in the future as they have the potential to offer a much more authentic experience.

My Colombian wife (from Tolima, the place with the best tamales) loved the tamales. Could be bigger, but very tasty and authentic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want to eat authentic Mexican fast food, you're in good hands here. The food is very tasty, but unfortunately the portions are quite manageable. My wife and I have been there many times. Almost every time we went there to eat, the prices were raised or the portions became smaller. Charging around 32 euros for two “mega” burritos and two Ayinger beers (currently) is right at the top of the pain threshold. The restaurant itself is what you would expect from a Mexican takeout place. The chairs and tables are clean, but the toilets should be checked more often by the staff. Due to the fact that the price-performance ratio is at the top end in our opinion, we would like to come back, but no longer at regular intervals. Just ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me, unfortunately the trend is falling.

The tacos from this place are a disgrace. I never expected tacos to have shrivelled up canned corn and salsa with barely any flavor in it. The tortilla was looked uncooked as well. Enfrijolda was better but the salad was just sliced lettuce and no other vegetable. The salsa was also just diced tomatoes and onions, no herbs. No dressing or flavor in either of them. Only good thing was the bean paste which made all of it edible. I have had much better Mexican food in for the same price. Don’t get scammed by the positive reviews, those led me there! Ambience is nice, the staff is really cool, seating is again uncomfortable. Would definitely not visit again

I've come here several times but yesterday was the last time. For the first time I saw that the tamales are simply taken out of the package and heated in the microwave. The chilaquiles for 15€ are a disgrace. For that money you get a whole main course, which is chips with toppings that were terribly prepared. On the one hand, completely different than usual, normal even with the round chips, this time I got the wrong ones even though they were there, everything was soggy because you had to explain to the prepared 20x what it was supposed to do and in the end it was a disaster. The cheese-only quesedillas are sad, with what feels like a teaspoon of cheese in the middle of a large tortilla. So it's really rare to eat so badly for so much money. Unfortunately I won't be getting anything else here.

Ordered 3 different burritos, all 3 were great 🤌

They didn't pay attention to me for 5 minutes and only then said that they would be there for me in 5 minutes. I bought a taco and a tamale from here. Plus two Takis packs. The taco and tamales were subpar, and the takis were already expired. When I asked if I can return them and have my money back they refused. The date had passed!!

very simple and cozy Mexican restaurant at the Isartor. It is 2 minutes away from the S-Bahn station. There are a few variations of fajitas etc. There is only self service, but it works very well. There are only a few cocktails, but they are very tasty. The walls were beautifully painted (with Mexican motifs)

As mexicans visiting this restaurant, we know for sure real mexican flavors, Chilaquiles needed a whole lot more sauce and weren't very good, Tacos were decent and Pozole was good but definitely not as tasty as we thought it will be.

One of the few Mexican places that does taste like Mexican food. I like that the ingredients you want can be in different versions (tacos, quesadilla, burritos or salad type). In addition, the arrival has good and traditional Mexican music.

Cool restaurant that's very centrally located if you feel like some Mexican food and drinks. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly. A friend told me that they have amazing margaritas and having tried it myself, I can agree. The space is quite awkward and people have to constantly dance around each other at the ordering desk so it becomes somewhat annoying when busy. Reservations might be a good idea, because seating is limited in there.

Arriving home I remembered that I left it at the restaurant on the bar where you make the orders. Today I stopped by again and came in to buy some tacos and another salsa and the team remembered me and remembered I forgot the salsa last week and told me to take it this time!

Disappointment, the burrito pita had a nasty taste + the sauce was disgusting. This dish was completely loaded with rice, at best you will find 5 pieces of meat. The room itself is very dirty, from the walls to the toilet.

Place looks nice, but quesadilia with chicken is far under expectations: it's badly cooked, it small ammount if cheese, it's literally bunch of overcooked chicken cubes swimming in the juice of the old, badly cooked onion slices - its looks and tastes extremely horrible for such common and wel known dish as quesadilia.

I have rarely eaten such good tacos in Germany. The ambiance is what I imagine a taco shop would be like. I will definitely come again.

The shop itself is beautiful. But there was only one toilet for men and women. The service was quick but because it was quick it was cold. There were no nachos. There was a lot to drink. It was better 3 years ago

Food was good before, recently the staff/chef changed and quality has gone down a lot. The cheese on the nachos was just dumped and they didn’t even wait until the cheese was melted before taking it out of the oven. Not worth it now.

The burrito was super tasty. Not too big (though it looked huge) Everything was really well spiced, well cooked. Salsa was not fantastic (I got the Jalapeño sauce) but the burrito did not need it at all. It stood on its own, just the way it was made.

Good food! Great service! Unfortunately it looks really worn down and old inside. Duct tape all over the walls in the open kitchen, bar chairs are super worn out and look raggedy. More of a "hole in the wall" than stylish, these days - the place really needs a refresh. Makes me worried about where else they're saving money? 👀

The place was nice, the service was not bad but the tacos... the meat were not bad but the detail is that they put the sauce on them as soon as they were served and a good Mexican knows that this is not done because if they get too wet and They don't eat right away, the tortilla breaks. The tortilla cooled quickly, the taco turned into chilaquil and the sauce was too liquid. If they put the sauce, at least put a double tortilla as it should be, but if not, at least the tortilla should be thick or the sauce less liquid and never serve it. Everyone should add the amount of sauce they want. I ordered a Jamaica that was made with syrup and was very sweet. My daughter had horchata that was just as bad and synthetic. I did not like anything. We will not return.

Had tacos and tamales. They serve them from the packaged goods, by warming up. Dont know what to say. Never had something unedible like this before. Worse than airplane food. It is just sad, hard to describe in words. Ruined an evening. Also unprofessional personel, which could be okay but just very idle and not communicating staff

Today I came to eat with some of my colleagues to try this restaurant. I always said Mexican food is very tasty, and when I bumped into this . Really is nothing to do with it! We ordered chilaquiles, quesadillas and tacos. The chilaquiles were made with old tortillas!! They tasted very, very bad and smell like mold! You can see the smell of it they were almost rotten! We left the whole dish full to trash. The quesadillas were ok but cold. but then the tacos were breaking in pieces with the first bite! Sorry, but have to improve the quality of your ingredients before you serve them. If not you will get on big trouble with a health lawsuit. No words!

The food is good, even the alternative options outside of the standard burritos or tacos. Price wise I would not consider them the best value for money. Can feel a little expensive depending what you order. But as far as Mexican food in Munich goes, it's a nice little spot with friendly staff. The vegetarian options are not what you should go for, they always seem to leave you wanting.

Sadly, my only incident regarding a person’s attitude in Europe was in this Mexican restaurant as the girl in charge denied to charge me a product from the shelf (not from the kitchen, which would be understandable) before the closing hour. I’m also Mexican and I find sad that the bad things about our country are the only ones bad here in Germany. She said that she was already counting the money and started to make excuses like “‘no, we are closed” and when I mentioned that the closing hour was different (even the door had the “open” sign and closing hour specified) she took a couple seconds to think and said “ehh.. it’s because in winter we have a different schedule…”. I don’t use to publish reviews but I really found sad this situation as it is my only bad experience in more than one year living in Munich. I hope that the owner reads this and it becomes a “one time” bad experience as the place itself is good, it’s just that the service wasn’t.

Relaxed taco+ eatery, cantina-style. Best tacos in Munich. Selection of other foods and groceries available, such as dried chillis, hot sauces, Guatemalan tamales etc. One ofy favourite places to get a bite in Munich, way above German standards for these cuisines.

I had the carnitas burrito. It is the most authentic burrito I've had in Munich and reminds me of what I am used to eating in the Southern US. Excellent and authentic tasting carnitas!

tortillas waren kalt. taco füllungen lieblos ohne limette, zwiebel oder koriander, obwol auf der karte steht mit koriander, wurde es mit salat serviert!! wenn etwas aus ist, sollte man das dazu sagen.

La verdad la comida está muy buena, sobre todo los tacos de cochinita, no he probado ningunos así en todo Alemania. Pero el servicio no es el mejor, creí que al ser mexicanos iban a ser más agradables. Un día llegamos una hora antes de que cerraran y dijeron que ya iban a cerrar porque ya estaba empezando el invierno jajaj, pero no actualizaron su horario de atención :( yo propuse que nos los pusieran para llevar y se vió cero interés de su parte; me dijeron mm como quieras pero te lo pondríamos frío.

Sehr schöne Inneneinrichtung mit gutem mexikanischen Essen 😋👍. Ich muss leider sagen: Es gibt zwar keinen direkten Service am Tisch, trotzdem ist für mich die ganze Organisation beim Bestellen einfach planlos und lustlos 🙈. Es kann nicht sein das bei meiner Bestellung, mir gegenüber eine/r steht und auf seinem Essen rumkaut 🤔. Echt schade da würde in meinen Augen mehr gehen.
