La Taperia Ole-Ole in Heidelberg

La Taperia Ole-Ole exudes a more relaxed atmosphere than other restaurants, thanks to its interior design and the tapas dishes, which are meant for sharing. The staff also spoke Spanish amongst themselves and were very friendly. I tried it out on my own because I was planning to go with a group of friends soon, and I wasn't disappointed.

Very nice and cozy place with a calm ambience. We were here for our team dinner. We did try all of their platters. We found Barcelona the best. The quality and taste of the food is worth the price. All the platters were delicious. The service is excellent, the people at work are nice and friendly. The wine recommendations were good, and the wine did pair with the platters. Overall it is a good place to have a nice and cozy evening with friends.

I highly recommend an evening at Taperia to everyone! The atmosphere is simply a 12/10. A good glass of dry red wine, a summer night outside, a lovely ambiance, fantastic tapas, and extremely warm and radiant service. Anyone who enjoys eating out will certainly not be disappointed here! PS: We had exclusively vegetarian tapas and were not disappointed at all! The quality of the food was fantastic!

We're Spanish, and we went to eat some Spanish food after so many days of sausages and meat. The food was very good, but the best part was definitely the service! The waitress was super friendly, thanks for everything!!

I used to go here from time to time to share their platters with different selection of tapas. I recently learned that they no longer serve these big platters. So, the prices are super high for very little portions of tapas. Although the quality of food is similar to what it was like before, I would no longer recommend here unless you would like to pay 25 euros for two forks of food

The experience was absolutely amazing! It was the first time I've finally been able to eat good Spanish food here in Germany! The place is very clean; as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're in Spain! The service is simply great, and the people there are beaming with happiness! I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 because the paella portion was simply too small for the price, and the sangria was good, but I expected something different! Overall, I 100% recommend it, and I'll be back!

Very nice and authentic tapas restaurant. The food is very tasty and there is a lot to choose from. You can also get paella freshly made without pre-ordering and with a little waiting time. The wines are also highly recommended.

Wir kamen zum Tappas essen und haben sehr lecker Champions, Datteln im Speckmantel, Patata Bravas und Choriso genossen. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Der bestellte Wein sehr lecker. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend in netter Umgebung.

On our bowling tour we sat outside when the weather was nice. We received a very warm welcome. The tapas were very tasty and you felt like you were on vacation in Spain. The highlight was the round of drinks from the Porron👍 thanks to the waitress for that.. It was really really funny.. definitely a must in Heidelberg if you like tapas. We would give more than 5 stars if it were possible. Thank you very much for the lovely evening with you.

Went to the tapas bar at 5 p.m. The food was served quickly and was delicious. The service was initially very ambitious. But this quickly subsided after we were provided with the first drinks and food. Unfortunately, we had to wait forever for everything else (the next order, then the drinks we ordered and finally the bill). Nice evening, but the wait for another glass of wine was annoying.

The best potato omelette I have eaten in years. Spectacular homemade, tasty and well cooked. It reminded me of what my mother made. The croquettes are also very delicious. I hope I can return to Heidelberg soon and repeat.

It's actually a nice shop, but the prices are just too high. The individual tapas are very clear. I ordered chicken and it was three small pieces. I found it a bit annoying that there were also potatoes in it, which stretched the whole thing out so that it looked like more.

The selection of tapas was very tasty, I enjoyed all of them, but the garlic prawns were the best I had in a while. The paella was not as good as the tapas and the prawn was not cleaned, so I couldn't eat it.

Unfortunately, prices are far too high for what it is in the end. The "gambas", which were simply shrimp and therefore incorrectly declared, were very disappointing. Please make sure to change!

A piece of Spain in Heidelberg - that's what you can find here! The service is top, the tapas are excellent. I had the fried anchovies, olives, almond aioli, salad. You get bread with it. Plus the cocktail Ole, and finally the good Hierbas and an espresso. Everything was very tasty, so I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in Heidelberg!

Ein spontaner Besuch um 17 Uhr am 22.2.24 in der Taperia ließ mich überaus überrascht feststellen, daß es Spanien auch in Heidelberg gibt.Der Service war gutgelaunt , aufmerksam und freundlich und die gewählten Speisen absolut top.Ich hatte die frittierten Sardellen, aioli m.Mandeln(empfehlenswert!),Oliven und einen kleinen Salat.Brot bekommt man immer dazu und nach. Dazu den Cocktail Ole, zum Abschluss einen Hierbas und Espresso. Mit ca 33€ dafür liegt man in einem normalen Preissegment. Ich komme gerne wieder zu Euch!

The food wasn't special. I also generally think €23 is too much for a small portion of paella. Plus tapas €7, drinks and dessert €7, so we were at least €40 per person. The prices on the internet do not match.

Nice restaurant with very friendly service. The food arrived very quickly. Everything was very delicious. The batatas bravas were supposed to be spicy, but they weren't even remotely spicy and the alioli was actually tasteless. Otherwise I was happy with everything. Later the paella came and I have to say. It was the best paella I have ever eaten. She was really delicious. The price is a bit expensive, but the VAT has also increased again. It was a nice evening

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend, die Tapas und der Nachtisch waren prima, ebenso der Wein. Großes Lob auch an den Service. Das ganze Team ist super nett und sehr aufmerksam. Danke dafür👍

Waren dort essen mit mehreren Leuten, haben Tapasplatten und Wein gehabt. Der Service war ein wenig langsam für die gut bezahlende Runde. Die Tapasplatten waren für den Preis leider etwas wenig belegt, und mann hätte für die Vielen Leute mehr auf eine Platte machen können, das war wirklich sehr sehr schade. Preis/Leistung müsste hier also noch angepasst werden. Da jeder Wein getrunken hat, haben wir uns für Flaschenweine entschieden, mit den Tapasplatten dazu, muss man schon 40-50 € pro Kopf rechnen. Zudem war ein riesiger Störfaktor, dass wir mit dem Tisch direkt am Weinregal saßen und mussten öfters aufstehen wenn im Lokal Wein geholt werden musste. Das war wirklich sehr stressig. Es gab noch genügend andere Tische, die groß genug waren und nicht besetzt gewesen sind. Vielleicht klappt es ja beim nächsten Mal...

Definitiv keine Weiterempfehlung. Atmosphäre im Restaurant eher ungemütlich. Man sitzt relativ dicht beinander. Ich hatte drei Tapas: Gambas in Ölsauce. Da kann man nicht viel verkehrt machen. Ziegenkäse auf Toast mit Honig. Das Brot war zu trocken und dem Ganzen fehlte irgendwie der Pfiff. Zum Abschluss dann noch Albondigas mit Kartoffeln, was viel zu salzig war. Absolut enttäuschend waren die beiden offenen Rotweine: schlimmer können sie im Supermarkt kaum sein. Sehr gestört hat es mich auch, dass - eine typisch deutsche Unart - Gäste ihre Hunde mit ins Restaurant nehmen dürfen, insbesondere dann, wenn man den Hund unmittelbar neben sich hat.

We ordered mixed tapas Malaga (nothing special), patatas bravas and pulpo a la gallega. The potatoes served with the squid were raw and the squid itself not so great. Good desserts, but in general a bit too expensive. However, we're going to give it another try.

Das Essen war wirklich superlecker! Ich habe 15 Jahre lang in Spanien gelebt und war in D in noch keiner Taperia, die so authentische spanische Tapas gemacht hat! Und es gibt sehr gute spanische Weine. Die Qualität war super und auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt total. Und fast vergessen: das Servicepersonal war sehr, sehr nett und auf zack!

Leckere Tapas! Man sitzt schön an der ruhigen Straße. Der Service ist bemüht, flink und ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Tapas sind fast wie in Spanien, wirklich sehr empfehlenswert! Mein Favorit sind die Gambas al ajillo, die wirklich perfekt sind. Schön scharf. Es gibt verschiedene Tapas-Platten oder alles einzeln. Große Auswahl, alles gut. Auch der spanische Hauswein schmeckt. Verschiedene Desserts, ebenso lecker. Ein bisschen wie Urlaub.

Super freundlicher und schneller Service. Tapas lecker aber leider sehr überteuert bzw. für den Preis wirklich kleine Portionen. Pollo al ajillo hatte 3-4 kleine Fleischstückchen und bestand ansonsten aus Kartoffeln, wenngleich die Soße sehr lecker war. Die Tomatensoße der Patatas bravas schmeckte wie passierte Tomaten ohne Gewürz. Für 2,5 Tapas pro Nase bezahlt man ca. 20 Euro, aber davon wird man bei weitem nicht satt. Wären wir richtig hungrig gewesen und hätten wir mehr Geld ausgeben wollen, hätten wir locker 4-5 Tapas pro Person essen können.

Hatten uns auf einen Tapas Abend gefreut. Naja. Personal sehr nett, Wein auch super. Bei den Tapas fehlte der geschmackliche Pfiff. Papas waren scharf angeboten, jedoch eher sehr lasch. Hackfleischbällchen in Mandelsauce eher langweilig. Ansonsten insgesamt sehr öl und knofi lastig. Gut, wir haben von den angebotenen Tapas 7 verschiedene gegessen. Diese waren insgesamt enttäuschend.

Schönes Tapas Lokal - super essen !!! Das Essen kam schnell und hat super geschmeckt! Service schnell und freundlich !!

Ein kulinarischer Ausflug nach Andalusien stand an unserem ersten Abend in Heidelberg auf dem Programm. Die Website verspricht authentische Küche und auf der Speisekarte finden sich tatsächlich ein paar andalusische Klassiker wie Albondigas in Mandelsauce oder Salmorejo, eine kalte Tomaten-Brot Suppe aus der Region um Córdoba. Die Inhaber stammen aus Almería, kennen und lieben gelernt hat sich das Paar in Heidelberg. Wie schön, dass man hier Fuß fassen konnte. Ende 2015 erfolgte dann die Restauranteröffnung. Reserviert hatte ich für 3 Personen über den Reservierungslink der Website, die Bestätigung erfolgte umgehend. Freundlich wurden wir empfangen und zu unserem Tisch im hinteren Gastraum begleitet. Das Ambiente stimmig, die Farbe Gelb dominiert in Kombination mit ein paar roten Akzenten, schlichtes dunkles Mobiliar, typisch auch der Holztresen mit den traditionellen Keramikfliesen, im hinteren Gastraum Dekortapeten in Stein- und Holzoptik sowie Landschaftsaufnahmen. Uns wurde reichlich Zeit zur Getränke- und Speisenauswahl gelassen, unsere bestens aufgelegte Kellnerin mit charmantem spanischen Akzent entschuldigte sich später, es war für uns aber noch im Rahmen, schließlich war die junge Dame alleine unterwegs und natürlich wissen wir um die Personalnot in der Gastronomie. Hinter dem Tresen haben wir noch eine weitere Dame gesichtet. Wir bestellten die erste Runde: Pan y Aioli Salmorejo Patatas Bravas Croquetas del día Champiñones a la "riojana" con cebolla y vino Albóndigas con salsa de almendras Gambas al ajillo Dátiles con bacon Ganz hervorragend haben uns die hausgemachten Kroketten mit Speck und Zwiebeln gefallen, schön heiß, knusprig, würzig und so viel besser als die übliche TK-Ware anderenorts. Haben wir nachbestellt. Die Patatas Bravas wurden wirklich authentisch mit angenehm scharfer Salsa und ein klein wenig Aioli serviert, endlich einmal keine fade Tomatensauce. Die nachbestellten Bravas waren leider kaum scharf. Die Servicedame konnte keine Erklärung liefern, hat in der Küche aber auch nicht nachgefragt. Geschmacklich tadellos die Albondigas in einer kräftigen, schön cremigen Mandelsauce, erstaunlicherweise bekamen wir keine Fleischbällchen sondern Hackfleisch- und Kartoffelstückchen. Das kannten wir bislang so nicht, dennoch empfehlenswert! Okay die Knoblauch Gambas mit etwas Chili, die Datteln im Speckmantel und die Champignons nach Rioja Art mit Zwiebeln, Wein, grüner Salsa und für unseren Geschmack etwas zu viel Olivenöl. Die Salmorejo gut gekühlt, ideale Konsistenz, dezente Säure, für mich hätte es gerne etwas mehr Knoblauch und Würze sein dürfen. Die Aioli war eher ein Aioli Süppchen, sicher hausgemacht mit schöner Knoblauchnote, aber extrem dünnflüssig und als Brotaufstrich völlig ungeeignet. Getrunken habe ich einen soliden Cava Brut (3,75€) und einen weißen Rioja Faustino Rivero, der Viertelliter zu 6,25€. Die Preise für Speis und Trank sind fair kalkuliert. Nicht alles war perfekt. Aber wir haben uns Andalusien und unserem Lieblingsstädtchen Conil de la Frontera ein Stückchen näher gefühlt. Ein sehr schöner Abend, den wir bei passender Gelegenheit gerne wiederholen würden. In der Summe komme ich im Vergleich zu der Convenience Küche so mancher Spanier auf 4 Punkte! Empfehlung!
