La Strada in Limburg a.d.Lahn

We go out to eat quite often and were very excited to see what awaited us. Reserved for December 31st, as expected, it was completely full, a lot of waiters, well organized even if the waiters' expertise was limited, what is an aperitif!?🤔 Still hardly any waiting time, drinks (cocktails, wines) and food (starter platter, Pasta & pizza) came very quickly, tasted good/okay, portions were also good. Conclusion: Price/performance ratio is in no way appropriate, significantly increased prices, absolutely not acceptable! A great ambience, which is undoubtedly very pleasant and cozy, is taken into account in the pricing. Unfortunately we won't be coming back!🙁

What was that then? Reserved a table for Christmas and received no information about a slimmed down menu that day. If we had known that, we would definitely have gone somewhere else. But it goes even further: you've rarely experienced such unfriendly service in your life. If you don't like meeting people, please look for another job. Food: ordered the Abtipasti starter for €18, when it came my first thought was: are these kitchen waste? Honestly, that was a joke and served in a very unappetizing way, value for money: -500. My pasta had the wrong sauce and I spent the night in the toilet. Nobody can get me there any time soon.

Very nicely stylishly furnished restaurant with a large outdoor area. Attentive and friendly staff. There was enough space between the tables for a private atmosphere. Good Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. There were four of us and we had different dishes. It's a shame that I was only in Limburg for a trip.

Went there today for mussels with a friend. The mussels were very tasty but the portion was too small. The side salad for €6 was ridiculous and I personally think that charging €6.50 for a Ramazotti is more than excessive. Well, Limburg is not called the Monaco of Germany for nothing.

There is definitely a nice atmosphere in this restaurant and good service, although it still needs some fine-tuning here and there. The food was okay but not convincing for me personally. It can definitely be better. Still a nice place.

The food was delicious and it was very pleasant to sit outside. Service professional and friendly. Prices reasonable.

It used to be better. On the plus side, the steak and salmon taggliatelle were delicious. The antipasti plate, on the other hand, was rather disappointing, 3 varieties of pulp, a bit of zucchini, a salad drenched in mayonnaise and 3 olives. Pizza was rather tough instead of crispy and the schnitzel came from the frozen package and was over-fried. The service is not unfriendly but seems annoyed from the first second. Not a smile or other facial expression during the entire stay, you quickly feel like a burden instead of a guest. As I said, it was a lot better, but it's still okay. Maybe rethink a few points and go back to the old glory.

They forgot the salad 🥗 I had to pay for it and they didn't get into the aisles (they were too slow)

It's a good restaurant and tastes delicious. Nice atmosphere, you can really sit outside in the summer. There is also a hotel included.

My brother celebrated their civil wedding at La Strada with a ramen of around people and I was positively thrilled. From the very good service to the very well-planned 3-course menu, La Strada left a very nice and tasty impression and Limburg has once again shown how good the local restaurants actually are. When refilling the individual drinks, the service paid attention to individual needs without having to be addressed. Individual needs and intolerances are addressed very well and they always have a nice alternative ready. I personally had the antipasti platter as a starter with all sorts of things from every aspect you might be familiar with. From delicious beef salami to very tasty marinated crabs to fried vegetables and olive pesto. The main course was homemade ravioli filled with minced beef and mushrooms and other spices fried in tomato sauce and parmesan cheese as a topping - a very tasty experience, although the other dishes were also offered that are familiar from Mediterranean cuisine. For dessert there was tiramisu but as a surprise there was a cake, in our case we ordered it ourselves but everything was prepared for cutting. All in all, a great experience even in very hot weather. Please continue.

The food is good or not. It really depends on what you order. The service is friendly, but quickly loses track of things. The atmosphere is chic and clean. Food and especially drink prices are way too high (Cola 0.33l=4€).

Tolles Restaurant mit einer herzlichen Terrasse. Der Service hat 5 Sterne. Das Essen ist super lecker. Innenstadtlage mit direktem Parkhaus nebenan.

Die Bedienung war heute am ersten Weihnachtstag sehr schlecht organisiert das hin und her war sehr störend Zudem waren die Teller beschädigt was wohl keinem aufgefallen war echt schade so etwas geht absolut nicht. Ich hoffe diese werden ausgetauscht und besser darauf geachtet was man der Kundschaft vorsetzt. Wir waren bisher immer zufrieden ob im Restaurant oder to Go.

Guter und freundlicher Service, es wird häufiger gefragt ob man noch was braucht. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls in Ordnung. Die Karte las sich gut, vorallem die aktuellen Saisongerichte. Was man bekommt ist allerdings was ganz anderes. Völlig lieblos angerichtete Convenience-Produkte, der Salat zum Hauptgericht auf den Teller geworfen mit einer dicken Soße ertränkt. Geschmacklich ebenfalls nicht besser. Sehr Schade, bei dem Ambiente und der Karte hat man sich mehr erhofft.

Sehr schönes und toll eingerichtetes Ristorante. Ich hatte eine Pizza Calabrese und zum guten Schluss noch eine Panna Cotta, was beides sehr lecker war, muss ich sagen. Preislich im mittlerweile Normalbereich.

Ein sehr schönes und großes Restaurant. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt hier wirklich noch. Geschmacklich ist es sehr gut und die Portionen sind wirklich ordentlich. Hier bekommt man noch was für sein Geld. Einziges Manko ist das die Kellner nicht so schnell und aufmerksam sind so dass man schon mal eine Weile ohne Getränke sein kann. Sauberkeit an den dekorativen Wand/Lichtleisten könnte besser sein, hier sind schon mal ein paar Spinnenweben. Aber alles in allem kann man das Restaurant vorbehaltlos empfehlen, ich werde definitiv wieder hin gehen

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe im La Strada essen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr lecker. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Ich kann einen Besuch im La Strada zu 100% empfehlen.

Die Pizza war geschmacklich gut, Zutaten hochwertig, jedoch leider sehr durchweicht. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Servicepersonals könnte besser sein.

War heute mit meinem Sohn zum Essen da . Die Pizza für 14 Euro war eine Katastrophe. Fast jede TK Pizza hat ähnliche Qualität. Das Schnitzel von meinen Sohn war sehr durchwachsen. Die Rahmsoße wie aus der Tüte . In der Preislage sollte man schon ein wenig Qualität erwarten könne. .!!

The restaurant is beautiful and has a peaceful atmosphere. Although the place was almost empty, the service was poor. My pizza came without any fresh ingredients, and honestly, I’ve eaten tastier frozen pizza. The whole experience was okay.

Viel Platz im Lokal sowie Außenbereich. Sehr guter Service, sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist ebenfalls sehr gut und reichlich.

Wir waren 2 Tage als Übernachtungsgäste im Hotel. Das Hotel und das Restaurant bekommen meine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!! Die Zimmer sind Top eingerichtet und haben eine wunderschöne Größe. Das Restaurant und das Service Team sind spitze gewesen. Vielen Dank für alles Familie Altun!!

War mit meinem Patenkind da essen. Absolut schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Mann musste nie lange warten. Das Essen war ein Gedicht. Lachs auf grünen Bandnudeln. Preise absolut gerechtfertigt. Außenbereich mal bischen verschönern. Ansonsten alles Top.

Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Und die Terrasse im Inneren des Hofes ist sehr angenehm bei schönen Wetter. Das Lokal kann ich gerne weiterempfehlen.

Na ja. Bei den vielen positiven Rezensionen und den aufgerufenen Preisen, hätte ich um einiges mehr erwartet. Zuerst mal das Positive: Das Ambiente war toll. Man fühlte sich wie in einem Kurzurlaub in Italien. Selbst die Tischdecken wirkten authentisch. Auch das Geschirr und Besteck hochwertig. Das Essen konnte da leider nicht mithalten. Der bestellte Beilagensalat (5 Euro standen dafür auf der Rechnung) erwies sich als kleiner Klecks gemischter Salat auf großem Teller, gekrönt mit einer klebrigen Masse, die wohl das Dressing darstellen sollte. Immerhin kam Essig und Öl auf den Tisch, sodass man das Malheur beseitigen, und den Salat selbst würzen konnte. Die Pizza Diavolo war gut belegt, leider nicht scharf (wie auf der Karte versprochen) aber der Teig war labberig bis gummi artig, wohl durchweicht von der Tomatensauce und daher nicht aufgegangen und zu kurz (oder nicht heiß genug) im Pizza Ofen gelassen. Fazit: Vielleicht hatte der Koch einen besonders schlechten Tag, aber für dieses Essen werde ich La Strada sicher nicht nochmal aufsuchen.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Limburg in walking distance of everything downtown.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel Amts Apotheke verbracht, welches mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Dazu gehört das Restaurant La Strada, das Essen war sehr 😋 lecker, die Bedienung zuvorkommend und nett, das ganze Ambiente im Restaurant und im Außenbereich war wie das Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Es war alles wie ich erhofft habe. Essen war gut und ausreichend, Preis Leistung hat gestimmt.

Hygiene und Personal sehr gut und freundlich ⁸

Schneller und freundlicher Service. Gute italienische Küche. Obwohl sehr voll mussten wir kaum auf Getränke und Essen warten. 2 Personen Vorspeisen und Hauptgang inkl. Getränke für ca. 72€ war angemessen. Ein Grappa ging noch aufs Haus was den Abend angenehm abrundete. Zu empfehlen sind u. a. die Spaghetti im Parmesankäse (wird am Tisch zubereitet) für 16€.

Einfach super lecker! Wir waren Sonntag Abend hier. Die Kellner super aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls echt schön eingerichtet, das Essen kam sehr rasch und war sehr lecker. Immer wieder gerne.
