La Stanza - Caffè Ristorante in München

It was my first time there today, great service and delicious food.

We went tyere for dinner. It was excellent. We loved the food and the service. We will definitely come back.

What a great place. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. They created a large salad for me to accompany my grilled squid upon request and it was perfect! And the avocado tartar that came along with the grilled squid was fabulous! I almost licked the plate :)

The ultimate stylish Italian restaurant. Whenever I'm in Munich, I always try to stop by La Stanza because it's more than just a restaurant or a bar: It's a trendy slice of Italy where you can enjoy the Dolce Vita even at lunchtime. From the food and drinks to the music and service, it's simply unbelievably nice.

A really great place where you can eat really well.

Food was really good and atmosphere as well. The sauce from the pasta was too thin and unfortunately we ordered a small glass of wine and needed to pay for a large one even though the waitress said it was her fault. Besides that the service was also good.

A taste of Italian culture with a changing menu, excellent service, and delicious food and desserts. The coffee deserves special mention; it's a must for me every time and tastes just like in Italy ❤️ Prices are on the higher side, but appropriate for the quality and service.

The pinsa with mozzarella and grilled vegetables was very tasty. Thank you!

We stopped by for a cocktail in the afternoon. It was very quiet. Although the outside seating area was small, we found a seat comfortably. The staff was friendly. The cocktails were delicious.

Omg what a find!!! We stumbled in here randomly just to do some last minute client work on our laptops and ordered food just to get something to eat. We did not expect to have such amazing service and the food is INCREDIBLE. Great decor and a wonderful atmosphere (excellent music too that really fits the vibe). Like I'm not overexaggerating when I say that the fully authentic Italian team really brought their quality from home. Everything we had from the bruschetta (ingredient quality and bread quality was actually flawless) to the pinse salami and the chocolate lava cake for dessert (which had an extra surprise inside it! 🤤) Everything went down so well, the sheer quality, attention to detail and uncompromising ingredients blew my mind. Andrea's hospitality was so warm and friendly, and major props to Lorenzo (the owner) who clearly takes pride in being the best. I wish I could come again but I leave Munich tomorrow, however I will be back every single time I return here for work or leisure. Thanks again gentlemen, you really made my last evening in Munich really special 🙏🏻

We're always impressed by both the food and the friendly service! They also offer changing seasonal dishes, like asparagus pasta. Plus, they have great drinks and wines 🍷

A very nice Italian restaurant in a lively area in the center of Munich. Friendly staff and a cool boss; The pasta dishes with a nice glass of wine are highly recommended; top price-performance ratio and a relaxed and uncomplicated atmosphere. Personally, I can recommend the restaurant 100%

The “La Stanza” is an absolute highlight in Lehel. The Italian cuisine is done right here and the ambience of the restaurant is wonderful! But the real stars are the employees and the boss Lorenzo! I have been eating there every Saturday with my family for years and can only recommend that everyone treat themselves here!

Unfortunately very, very expensive, if you don't have to worry about money, then you can eat there.

You can't get more Italy in Munich! The food is excellent and you are always surprised with a new menu. All the employees, including the owner, Lorenzo, put so much passion and friendliness into this store, it's unbelievable. No matter whether you come here for dinner or a quick espresso, all guests, including me, notice the typical Italian hospitality. I can recommend everyone to find their way to Lehel to experience this at least once!

An institution in Munich for over 20 years - very good food, attentive service, attractive interior design and excellent location. And an excellent host (Lorenzo), who is almost always on site. We've seen a lot, but La Stanza is special.

Charming Italian café in one of the most beautiful places in Lehel. Nice staff and even on Sundays you can usually find a place without a reservation. Lunch menu quite extensive, but no special lunch menu, therefore comparatively expensive. Main courses 17-33 euros. Quality okay. Price/performance rather mediocre. What you pay for here is primarily the location and the ambience.

It's already 10 minutes since I've waited for the waiter to bring me the menu. The cafe is not crowded, so they are not so busy. They just pass by me and pretend that don't see me. No service.

Highly recommended restaurant on the edge of Munich's old town. Beautifully located next to a church with lots of greenery. Waiters very attentive and always open to having fun. The best thing, however, was the food, which simply hit everyone's taste buds perfectly. If you want to eat delicious Italian food in Munich, you should definitely stop by here :)

La Stanza is an institution in Lehel. The location on St. Anna Square is very good. You feel like you are in an Italian piazza. The food is traditional Italian cuisine - very well done and really tasty. What sets it apart from the other restaurants on site is the extremely warm service. You feel very comfortable here even with small children :-)

The food was average and the portions were small (truffle pasta). The service was also not very friendly and quite arrogant. We sat outside and when it started raining harder we took our plates and drinks and placed them at a free table inside. One of the waiters (who wasn't really identifiable as a waiter because of his very casual clothing - probably the boss) took our things without comment or questions and put them on a table. There are stars for the beautiful location on the church square, where you can perhaps enjoy a coffee, but we won't stay there anymore.

Food is absolutely fine, but it's a shame that the champagne that was promised on the house and forced on us was charged "to celebrate the day".

It's very nice to sit outside. The food is very good, the pasta is homemade. However, €50 for two plates of pasta and two Cola Zero is still not a small amount.

On the sunny evening we were escorted out and asked to pay because we hadn't obviously consumed enough. The reason given was that the table was reserved, but it remained free for quite a while. You can do that, but it's ungrateful if you got new drinks 10 minutes before. Unfortunately, that wasn't a good experience.

Good Italian place. Really nice atmosphere, easy and comfortable. Great place for a friends meeting or for a date. Service is Italian, which means good. And tasty food, good portions of pasta. Amazing Tiramisu, classic version. I can even say ideal. The prices are not so cheaper and not so expensive. Around 20-30 euro per person for drinks and food.

Excellent, cozy good Italian atmosphere..

Rarely have we had such a good meal at an Italian restaurant and had a great evening. Uncomplicated, friendly service. The kitchen knows how to cook. The wine was a recommendation and very good value for money. The prices are reasonable. If we come back to Munich we will definitely eat here again. Mille Grazie!

I was invited. An overall good Italian Ristorante with upscale prices in a beautiful setting. However, we stick with our favorite Italian, which is better in all respects (included in my reviews).

Priced as you would expect in Lehel. However, the quality of the food and the ambience are excellent (bread, salad, pasta - everything is great). Brilliant for a lunch for two. - And: The espresso is particularly recommended.

Awesome, authentic Italian in the heart of Munich

We ordered "big" cheese platter and focaccia for each with my friend to share. To our surprise, the cheese platter that was supposed to be big was just small cubes of cheese scattered around. Cheese platter is not supposed to look like this.. We expected cheese triangles from mild to strong that is big enough to worth the 15 euro price. And vegetarian focaccia, omg... We were in shock when the guy brought us what he claimed as focaccia as we thought this was a wrong order. It was basically a ready bread toasted with sliced cheese and lettuce inside. It's an Italian restaurant. If they claim this was focaccia, I don't want to try any other main dishes. Also, who puts a lettuce in a bread and toast it? After a bite or two, we didn't eat. This toasted bread thing they told us focaccia was 5.5 euro. Their menu doesn't have any main dishes below 20 euros. After this experience, I won't come for this overpriced claimed Italian place who can't even make a proper cheese platter or knows what focaccia is. Cannot justify the rating of 4.3. Won't be back.

Quiet place, very elegant. We went in because we thought it was attractive and stylish. It is not a super commercial street so it is not easy to get to it no matter what you are walking through. We ordered spaghetti with truffle and pasta stuffed with cheese and everything was delicious. They took great care of us, everything very fast. To repeat

Good neighbourhood ristorante for coffee, some desserts (panna cotta was good) or lunch/dinner had the orecchiette a la ragu bolognese (ragu was okayish). Atmo is good, can sit outside. Prices also ok, bit on the higher side, fish was 36 (is ok but not cheap). Will try some more times and then maybe round to 5 * EDIT: went 3 more times - had fish 1 time (32 EUR) and 2 times tagliatelle with beef ragout (20 EUR). My friend had the Spaghetti Carbonara (17 EUR). Food was very good (better than the orecchiette back then), comes with free salad upfront and good bread (2 types). These times, I sat inside - nice atmo, good very Italian service. All in all deserved the upgrade to 5 stars. My go to place for business lunches in the area.

La Stanza ist ein nettes Lokal direkt am U-Bahnhof Lehel mit Außenbestuhlung und schnellen, freundlichen Kellnern. Unser Frühstück (Garda 12,90 Euro) und 2 Spiegeleier (7,50) ist nicht gerade günstig, und der große Cappuccino ist mit 5,80 Euro frech teuer. Signori, scusi, Ihr müsst die Münchner nicht so bluten lassen, das ist nicht ok. Beim nächsten Mal gehen wir ins Gandl gegenüber.

Mit einer unserer all Time Favorites, egal ob Frühstück Mittag oder Abend hier findet man immer leckeres Essen und gute Drinks

I got the ravioli and it was amazing! Recommend 10/10!! For dessert I got the chocolate soufflé which was delicious 😊 The staff was just the best! Friendly, open, kind and professional. The vibe was good and so genuine and we felt very welcomed. We had 2 toddlers with us and it was no problem making something for them even though they don’t have a specific kids menu. I am so happy we found this place. I will be thinking about that ravioli for the rest of my life 😆🤤

Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren ins La Stanza. Der Service war und ist immer sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist einfach aber gut - der Lokalität auf jeden Fall angemessen.
