Wie seit Langem kein Italienisch gegessen! Die Crespelle waren sehr sehr lecker, ich habe in Mainz bis jetzt bei keinem Italiener gegessen, der wirklich italienisches Essen anbietet wie hier. Viele verkaufen es so, als würden sie italienisches Essen zubereiten, aber die bei La Siciliana machen es wirklich. Leckeres Essen und sehr guter Service

Guter Italiener mit leckerer italienischer Küche. Sehr nettem Personal. Preis Leistung ok

Update: Lieferung jetzt wieder besser 1/2 Stunde, ist okay. Pizza lecker ( teilweise immer noch sehr fettig, je nach Belag). Pasta leider immer noch nicht gut. Nach einer Woche muss ich meine Rezension ändern und zwei Sterne abziehen. Anstatt besser, wird es schlechter. Über eine Stunde Wartezeit, obwohl wir schon um 11:30 Uhr bestellt hatten. Nudeln mit Gorgonzola und Spinat. Dies war einfach nur eine geschmacklose Sahnetunke, den Gorgonzola konnte man nur erahnen. Die Nudeln waren am Boden festgeklebt und konnten sich nur mit Messer und Gabel teilen lassen. Sorry....das bekomme ich daheim besser hin und günstiger. Deshalb jetzt nur noch ein Stern. Geschmacklich einen gut Pizza. Nette Mitarbeiter. 2 Sterne Abzug. Lieferzeit bis 40 Minuten, eindeutig zu lang. Leider war auch meine Pizza ( Grande Fratello ) trotz gutem Geschmack etwas trocken geraten, hätte saftiger sein können. Dafür hat die Pizza meiner Kollegin nur so vor fett getropft.

Supernettes und aufmerksames Personal. In keinster Weise aufdringlich. Wir hatten Pizza und Salat. Die Pizza (Cosa Nostra) war sehr gut belegt und sehr lecker. Preis/ Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Auf mein persönliches Lob gab es dann noch einen Marsala aufs Haus. Wieder mal eine tolle Erfahrung mit Schlemmerblock.

Geschmacklich ist es hier absolut top und vermutlich eine der besten Adressen für italienische Küche in Mainz! Dazu kommen ein sehr freundlicher Service und moderate Preise. Es kann mitunter aber sehr laut sein drinnen, so dass ein Essen zu zweit, wo man sich in Ruhe unterhalten möchte nicht funktioniert.

Wer in Mainz authentische italienische Küche sucht, kommt am La Siciliana nicht vorbei. Hier stimmt einfach das Gesamtpaket: Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und herzlich. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die Pizza ist ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus! Der Rand ist perfekt knusprig, der Boden dünn und der Belag überzeugt durch Frische und Großzügigkeit. Man schmeckt die Qualität der Zutaten bei jedem Bissen. Selbst wenn man eigentlich schon satt ist, für das Erbeer-Tiramisu muss man Platz lassen. Es ist so lecker, dass man es keinesfalls verpassen darf. Ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Bestes italienisches Restaurant in Hechtsheim, große Auswahl an Pizzen (auch "weiße" Pizzen!), Nudeln und Salat. Wechselnde Tagesangebote, z.B. Fisch. Im Sommer besonders tolle Atmosphäre im Innenhof.

Der Belag Peperonisalami ist nicht mehr derselbe wie damals, sehr schade. Allgemein schmecken die Pizzen nicht mehr wie früher, gibt einem eher leider das Gefühl, dass es abbaut. Ich verstehe nicht weshalb man da eventuell einsparen will und dafür aber die Qualität dann nachlässt für die Gäste. Bei meinem letzten Lieferungen, die nicht allzu lange her sind, kommen immer falsche Pizzen zuhause an und dann muss eine neue gemacht werden und wieder vom Fahrer geholt werden. Das ist anstrengend wenn man Gäste zuhause hat. Ebenfalls hat die Pasta keinen Geschmack, man schmeckt Nudelwasser raus und Vegeta Gewürzmischung, als Lieferung und dort Essen. Das hat meiner Meinung nach bei einem ‚italienischem Restaurant‘ oder an sich in dessen Restaurants nichts zu suchen. Ich würde es eher als Pizzeria bezeichnen, aber gut… Gerichte die auf der Empfehlungskarte stehen verfehlen auch echt einiges. Völlig überteuerte Gerichte. Angeblich Trüffel, der nicht mal ansatzweise nach Trüffel riecht und schmeckt und dafür werden teilweise Preise zwischen 20-30€ verlangt. Ein Koch sollte die Saucen selber ansetzen, wenn er wirklich ein Koch ist. Service an sich gut aber zu aufdringlich, man wird nach jedem Gang gefragt ob alles ok ist. Das Gericht spricht wenn dann für sich, da brauch man nicht jedes Mal eine Bestätigung.

Kommen nich aus der Gegend. Sind zu Besuch und durch Zufall auf dieses Lokal gestoßen. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht und mein Dad, der hier in der Nähe wohnt, kommt definitiv noch mal her.

Wunderbares Essen mit Bedienung die sich Zeit nimmt. Platzwahl trotz Stosszeit, echt super. Die Preise passen und wir wurden zu viert den ganzen Abend wunderbar bedient. Wir kommen wieder keine Frage.

Mega leckere Pizza und top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Die besten GLUTENFREIE PIZZA, die ich je gegessen habe!! (und ich hab schon viele gegessen ;-) Auch meine Begleiter sind durchweg begeistert von den Pizzen. Wir waren sowohl vor Ort essen, als auch haben wir uns Pizza abgeholt. Der Service ist immer top! Die Karte vielfältig, die Preise angemessen, das Essen grandios - was will man mehr? Im Sommer kann man auch schön draußen im ruhigen Innenhof sitzen.

Hier sind wir noch nie enttäuscht worden. Ob Pizza oder Pasta, regelmäßig sehr gut.

Hier war ich sehr gerne Gast, weil man gut speist ganz ohne hast. Die Pizza war gut der Salat eher klein, doch geschmacklich war doch Alles fein. Das Ambiente und der Service war wirklich toll, eigentlich so wie es sein soll. Gerne komme ich noch mal rein, denn alles in allem war es sehr fein. Ein Gruß aus der Küche und ein Absacker am Schluß, vollendeten hier den kulinarischen Genuss.

I pre-ordered pizzas here via Uber Eats for 7:00–7:30 p.m., as we couldn't arrive until just before 7:00 p.m. When we arrived, the driver was already there, loudly complaining that he'd been waiting for an hour because it was so busy. That doesn't make sense to me—if the kitchen is really busy, he shouldn't show up an hour early and then start yelling at the customer. Very unprofessional and unpleasant! A definite no-go for me—I won't order from here again.

We've eaten at Siciliana several times. The food and service are always top-notch. Whether it's pasta, pizza, or anything else, the quality and taste of the dishes are outstanding. La Siciliana has become our favorite Italian restaurant. The delivery service is also top-notch!

Service was okay... a bit impersonal, as no eye contact was made. The pizza was okay and quite tasty. We received a welcome from the kitchen and a free shot of schnapps or espresso at the end. A bit too loud when it's full. But we got a seat even though we didn't make a reservation.

Very delicious food and a great atmosphere. The ingredients taste fresh (especially the fish and seafood, which are ordered fresh from Frankfurt), and the dishes are prepared with great care. You can tell the kitchen is professionally run. The service was very personable and friendly, without being intrusive. I particularly liked the pasta: perfectly al dente and well-seasoned. Both red wines were very harmonious and well-chosen. Overall, an authentic Italian restaurant that you'll gladly return to. Despite the high quality, it offers excellent value for money! For us, this is the best Italian restaurant in Mainz and the surrounding area so far. It's worth the trip!

Finally, a pizza that not only has a great crust but also tastes great. The dishes arrived quickly, even though the shop was full.

La Siciliana Mainz is a place where Italian cuisine sounds truly sincere. The pasta is fresh, with rich sauces, and the pizza with thin dough and aromatic filling immediately takes you somewhere to the sea. I tried tiramisu - the most delicate, with a light coffee aftertaste. The atmosphere is cozy, with Italian charm, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Here you feel like a welcome guest. A great place for a warm dinner and real gastronomic pleasure.

Went there with our former exchange student and his family. Atmosphere was good, could of had gentle music. Place was very clean. Waiter spoke with our hosts, so I am unaware of his English speaking skills, if that is a concern. Being vegetarian/vegan, we have a limited exposure to the best of the menu, however, our vegan pizza was great, and our some said that he enjoyed the pasta dish. Tiramisu was very nice. We did not pay for the meal, so I don't know the cost, but the menu prices were reasonable.

If you are looking for authentic and delicious Italian cuisine, you have come to the right place. We visited the restaurant for the first time and were very impressed. Great welcome, excellent food and very attentive service staff. There is also free parking in the inner courtyard. As a starter we had an arancini filled with mozzarella and ragout and the octopus arm with oil and wild garlic. Both very well prepared and presented. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of it because we were very hungry :) The main course was excellent - tortellini, pizza and the king prawns with spaghetti in wild garlic pesto with a small side salad. If you need to eat gluten-free, you can order pizza and pasta for a small additional charge. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the great evening. We will be happy to come back or order online.

There were 6 of us, we had starters (bruschetta, salad), main courses (pasta, gnocchi, risotto, pizza) and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was very tasty and we were all really full. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. Even though the restaurant was full we were able to have a good chat. All in all a clear recommendation, we can definitely come back.

I definitely won't have pizza delivered there again. The pizza tasted like cardboard to us. They didn't even put oregano on the pizzas. I don't understand how the pizzeria has an average of 4.6. The pizza is probably different locally. It was delivered earlier than planned but the pizza was unfortunately a 0 in terms of taste.

We've been ordering from La Siciliana whenever we feel like Italian... for years. I can't remember a single dish that we didn't really enjoy. Starters, pizzas, pasta, salads and desserts - always simply delicious. Thanks for that!

I decided on the rump steak/herbs with fries and salad...after I was told when serving that there was no more herb butter, potatoes were served instead of fries. That shouldn't happen at a price of 30 euros. The rump steak still tasted very good... I guess I was just unlucky with the side dishes. The ambience and service were good. It should be positively mentioned that there are delicious olives at the beginning and grappa is served with the bill. So.....I would say.....despite what I mentioned, everything else was great.

Discovered La Siciliana in Mainz-Hechtsheim through the Schlemmerblock. The food was of excellent quality – fresh, authentic and tasty. The service was friendly, attentive and very professional. You really feel welcome here as a guest. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates excellent Italian cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

Today we went to the pizzeria with the Schlemmerblock. The outside of the building takes some getting used to, but the restaurant inside has a nice atmosphere. Bright, friendly and very clean. The tables were quickly cleared and the tablecloth changed after each guest. The staff were extremely friendly, quick and very attentive. There was a lavish greeting from the kitchen and a digestif on the house. The food was also very tasty and filling. The prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic about your Italian, Sicilian cuisine. I missed the latter completely - little to no typical Sicilian food. Unfortunately, the tortellini you offer is a complete failure. A recommendation from me: you can buy higher quality pasta if you don't offer it handmade. But these were tortellini that no one needs. The rest of the food was tasty, but for me personally it was missing a good seasoning. We had unpleasant, disturbing noises in the restaurant itself and it came from your bar/drinks counter. The cutlery was slammed into the baskets and the dishwasher was emptied and put away, all with a lot of noise. Unfortunately, the three people behind the counter showed no consideration for guests sitting nearby. A conversation at the table was only possible with loud conversations... Unfortunately, it's a shame

Very tasty Italian, the pizza dough is really delicious. The interior of the restaurant is also really cute, but the courtyard is so-so. Also nice is the large selection of dishes, several sides of pasta, pizza and other typical Sicilian dishes.

A good festive time for a family birthday. I had the pizza calzone, 🤤😋 good stuff. Well packed😀 The Arabia pasta can have extra chilly chilli, very nice, but beware🌶️🌶️🥵🥵. We generally sit indoors, but there is also outdoor seating in the courtyard. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom. I found the wine expensive. A large selection of pizzas.

Very friendly staff. The pasta dishes were also very good. Pizza was ok. BUT: Salad was underwhelming and unfortunately dry. I just do better things at home :/ And now a criticism that I hope you take to heart. I was so looking forward to the arancino. Unfortunately I was very disappointed...It almost only tasted like unseasoned, not very high quality meat and old fat. A few weeks before that I had my first arancino at a food truck. I fell in love. I thought they always tasted good…but no. Maybe you put rice in it to compensate or something. I felt really sick afterwards. Unfortunately :(

Wurde leider sehr enttäuscht…Es hat fast nur nach ungewürztem, nicht sehr hochwertigem Fleisch und altem Fett geschmeckt. Paar Wochen davor hatte ich mein erstes Arancino bei einem Foodtruck. Hatte mich verliebt. Dachte die schmecken immer gut…aber nein. Vielleicht macht ihr Reis zum Ausgleich rein oder so. Mir war danach wirklich übel. Leider :(
