A restaurant in a residential area that's quite dated. It feels like stepping back into the 1960s when you enter the lobby. The food was OK. The service was very friendly.

The food is good but not extensive, and the menu is very limited. The schnitzel, for example, is a convenience item with sauce. The pizzas are okay, but nothing special. The restaurant is nice but noisy. However, there's plenty of parking in front.

We always enjoy coming here. Delicious food and super-friendly service.

I often come here for lunch and find the pizza delicious and the staff very nice and friendly. I highly recommend my regular pizza place, 'Del Pirata'.

I've been here many times over the years and have had a pleasant time every time. The cozy outdoor terrace is also great for spending long evenings.

First of all, the service was very friendly. Even if we were initially forgotten. Unfortunately, this wasn't reflected in the food. As you can see in the photo, the pork neck steak and the fries were more like Kinder Proton. The champignon in the sauce had no flavor at all, the steak had a very bitter roasted taste, and there was no salt at all, although there was no salt on the table either. Both the steak and the fries were very small. Disappointing. The salmon was completely overcooked and even burnt, as you can see in the photo.

We were there for the first time yesterday. The owner was very nice and friendly. The pizza is delicious and has a nice, crispy crust, which I prefer. There's a parking lot that you can use with a parking disc. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Warm, delicious, Italian food just the way you want it – and even a little better. We visited Ristorante Pizzeria da Marcello in Mainz-Bretzenheim (Südring) and were thrilled. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but easy to find – and once you've been there, you'll definitely be back. We had reserved a table outside on a Wednesday – luckily, because it was busy. The outdoor seating is comfortable, right next to a large square with trees nearby, creating a pleasant atmosphere. It's ideal for families: the kids can play carefree while the parents enjoy their meal and keep an eye on everything. The food was truly delicious! I had spaghetti al pollo with fresh mushrooms, chicken strips, and a slightly spicy tomato sauce – nicely flavorful, served hot, and exactly my taste. My wife had raviolacci with figs, Parma ham, and a creamy sauce – a special combination that was a huge hit. The portions are generous, the value for money is good, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We particularly enjoyed a brief conversation with the young owner – very personable and passionate about his work. You can tell right away. The interior is also friendly and inviting – you feel completely at home. In summary: A truly feel-good place with delicious food, warmth, and a relaxed atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation – we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I've been visiting this Italian restaurant for years and can only say positive things! The atmosphere is always inviting and cozy, making it a perfect place for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Italian dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. We particularly recommend the homemade pasta and pizza, which taste simply heavenly! The flavors are authentic and the portions generous. The service is always friendly and attentive. You really feel welcome here. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Food disappointed. The Schnitzeelrag was just a cheap ready-made schnitzel, which the waitress also approved of. Desserts Tieamisu displayed large and not available. Service very friendly but food was a big disappointment and not recommended. Our first and last visit.

Very tasty pasta. I had the raviolacci filled with figs and ham in a fine fig-cream sauce. Highly recommended. But it could have been a little more, too little on the plate for €14.20, hence one star less. Side salad for €5.20 is far too expensive for the three lettuce leaves with tomato and cucumber. Restaurant in an old row of shops in the residential area, ambience is ok, nothing special. Service is very friendly.

Simple Italian restaurant from the gourmet block with pizza, pasta, etc. everything that is widely known. Everything in decent quality and at fair prices. The ambience is not that cozy, but neat. The toilets are from the 60s but clean. Despite having a reservation, we sat right next to the door. The service was friendly and competent. However, neither my pizza nor my wife's pasta could convince us to come back.

The restaurant is located in a rather sober row of shops. In the restaurant itself, everything is designed with great attention to detail and is comfortably furnished. The service is very attentive and friendly. As a guest you feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, very tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients. To round things off, we treated ourselves to a homemade pistachio baked apple soufflé, which tasted excellent. We will definitely come back.

We were there for lunch on a Monday. Relatively low activity as expected. We ordered two pizzas and were offered them as lunch with salad for 12 euros, which is quite cheap today. I had spinach leaves as a starter - very tasty. My lasagna was good, but still lacked the finishing touch (a little more seasoning would have been good). According to the blackheads, the pizzas were very good. The dessert was a large portion of tiramisu, without alcohol (which was good for the child), but it would certainly have been even better with it. Overall, good service with food that was very reasonable for the price. For 70 with tip we were really well served. And there were three large drinks and a coffee.

Jeder Wunsch wird berücksichtigt, und obwohl wir nur 45 Minuten Pause haben, wird unser Essen stets rechtzeitig serviert – selbst wenn wir als größere Gruppe kommen. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing. My husband had a rump steak with fries and salad for 22.50 euros. The steak was about 50g, the fries were light and soggy and the salad consisted of a few green leaves, onions and dressing from the bottle. The pizzas were definitely not freshly made. If we had known that we would have stayed in the hotel. At every chip shop the food is better and half the price. We waited forever for our food and the starter was served after the main course...unbelievable and a waste of our money!

Had ordered different pasta to pick up e.g. B. Tortellini alla Panna etc. Were just standard convenience tortellini with cream and any ham. Little Italian sophistication. In addition, the portions were outrageously small. It doesn't always have to be as extremely overloaded as in Vis a Vis, for example, but being full would be really cool.

We ate at Da Marcello for the first time this afternoon with our 2 kids. The two pizzas with side salad, the Viennese + fries and salad and the spaghetti Bolognese were really super delicious.
