The pizza was truly a dream! We ordered a Pizza Margarita and a Pizza Diavolo to go. The hot pizzas were ready in 10 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly. If you're in Mainz and craving a truly delicious pizza, this is the place to go! 🫶

We were absolutely thrilled with our visit to Di Alessa! The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The atmosphere is very pleasant, modern, cozy, and stylishly decorated thanks to the new furniture. We were particularly impressed by the way the food was presented, with great attention to detail. The appetizer was a delight, the pizza incredibly delicious and crispy; you can immediately tell that quality is a priority here. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended: refreshing, fruity, and something truly special. To finish off, we had an exceptionally delicious, homemade tiramisu, the perfect dessert! An all-round successful evening; we'll definitely be back!

Delicious pizza in a small, newly renovated pizzeria with a lovely terrace. On Sunday evenings, it can take considerably longer.

The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor ambiance was mediocre despite the renovations, but still very nice. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat relaxed, inexpensive, and delicious food.

The building was covered in scaffolding and therefore didn't really stand out. Inside, it wasn't very atmospheric, but otherwise it was fine and clean. The menu wasn't very extensive, but it was also fine. The spaghetti and pizza we ordered were delicious and served quickly. The service was friendly. In short, we were satisfied 👍🏼

Di Alessa in my opinion, is one of the best eateries for pasta dishes in Mainz🌟 Having picked it because of the 4.7 rating on Google reviews, I had pretty high hopes going in and I am glad to say it lived up to expectations. We made a booking prior to going but on arrival it really wasn't so busy. So I can suggest making a booking just to be on the safe side but I think in most cases you should be able to find an open table (obviously depending on the size of your company). I ordered the Fussili Speciale with a Zitrone Limonade and my partner ordered the Spaghetti frutti Di Mare with a Cranberry Limette Limonade. Both of the dishes hit the sweet spot for taste, texture, presentation and portion size👏🏽 The pasta was al dente but perfectly balanced with the creaminess of the sauce😋 The Limonade was fresh and delicious with a generous amount of fruit inside. The young waitress who was serving us was friendly, patient and ready to explain wherever we had questions, which is something I always appreciate at any eatery. 🙏🏽 The atmosphere is laid back and great for a relaxed afternoon or evening outing. The decor is woody with warm lighting from chandelier type overhead lights, which give a very cozy vibe. There is also a small lamp on each table for evenings. The aesthetic is rounded off by emerald green and pink upholstery that I think works well together from a design standpoint👌🏽 The music that was being played also sounded great...with Afrobeats (a bit of a pleasant surprise) and a variety of other genres that I quite enjoy filling the room as we dined (It was not too loud too which l prefer, so conversing is easier). Some songs literally had us singing along as we waited for our orders to arrive🗣️🎶😄 When we visited there was some construction taking place outside the store so that took a little away from fully enjoying the establishment in its entirely...Hopefully that's done soon. For me, a 5/5 experience at the end of the day and a clear recommendation. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and good music playlist. I can only hope they continue doing what they are doing. 👏🏽🫶🏽😊

The pizza was equipped with one of the crispiest crusts on the planet. The price was more than reasonable, and the service was friendly. Only the DJ deserves another detention; the music was super annoying. And the lamp on the table only lit up for six seconds.

I went here on 12th of June. Food was great for a late night bite, and my waitress was extremely friendly. Unfortunately they were cash only when I went.

I don't understand the rave reviews. The pizza is okay, but there are much better ones in Mainz. It was also way too oily. I also have the impression that the quality of the pizza is getting worse. It's a shame, but that was the last time.

I spontaneously landed in Mainz and was looking for something to eat. I found this place via Maps. Super attentive and friendly staff. I can highly recommend it to everyone. My wife had the salmon linguine and I had the formaggi pizza. Absolutely delicious. Great value for money! Thank you 😊

The food was delicious, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. In the end, we learned that card payments weren't possible – and no one had informed us beforehand. When we asked why they hadn't told us this straight away, the waitress reacted completely inappropriately and started claiming in a sharp tone that it was supposedly written at the entrance and on the counter – even though we hadn't even entered the counter. Maybe it was there, but as a guest it's easy to miss it, especially when it's written in tiny print. Overall, we were left with a very unpleasant impression, especially after the waitress practically threw the bill at us. We spoke to her normally and simply remarked that it would be helpful to inform guests about such things in advance, as the notice can easily be overlooked. We will definitely not be visiting this restaurant again.

I give it seven stars. A great pizza that leaves you wanting more with the last bite! And extremely friendly service that really made me feel welcome. And currently a bizarre atmosphere because of the scaffolding, which gives the space in front of the restaurant the charm of a construction site. I have rarely felt so completely at ease.

Excellent bruschetta, delicious pizzas, we ended up there by chance, were on a bike ride and didn't want to walk far from the hotel. Direct hit! Really everything was super fresh, even the pasta was excellent. The only suggestion for improvement: the menus are pretty worn out.

We had the linguine with burata and the gnocci. Both tasted great. Sat outside when the weather was nice and enjoyed a great meal. Come back)

Sehr freundlicher Service, aber leider ziemlich überfordert. Wir waren relativ früh dort und wurden zu Anfang noch zügig bedient. Das änderte sich mit Eintreffen weiterer Gäste. Es scheint, dass bei mehr als vier besetzten Tischen sowohl Küche als auch Service an ihre Grenzen kommen. Die Pizza, die meine Frau und ich hatten, war geschmacklich okay, aber der Teig war - vom Rand abgesehen - matschig. Insgesamt ein verzichtbares Erlebnis. Der Besuch war im Mai 2023, was in Tripadvisor leider nicht mehr auswählbar ist. Die Bewertung auf Google wurde mit der Begründung Diffamierung nach mehr als 2 Jahren entfernt. Das geschieht bei einigen Restaurants neuerdings. Hier werden Agenturen eingesetzt, die dafür sorgen, dass nur erstklassige Bewertungen zu sehen sind. So habe ich nicht nur mit dem geschilderten Erlebnis, sondern auch mit dem Verhalten des Betreibers ein Problem.

Arrived in Mainz in the evening and then looked for a way to have something to eat near the hotel. I found this restaurant via Google Maps. Inconspicuous from the outside and not exactly comfortable inside. There aren't really many places either. The service was friendly and quick, as was the kitchen. My pasta was absolutely delicious. Price-performance ratio fits.

Abends in Mainz angekommen und dann auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, in der Nähe des Hotels etwas zu essen. Über Google Maps bin ich auf dieses Restaurant gekommen. Von außen unscheinbar und innen jetzt nicht gerade gemütlich. Es gibt auch nicht wirklich viele Plätze. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell, ebenso die Küche. Meine Pasta war total lecker. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.

Unfortunately the kitchen was having a bad day. In the salad there were ingredients from the day before, as well as the bread from the bruchetta. the pizza was soggy...everything was extremely disappointing. Service staff very friendly (but this cannot make up for the negative rating of the food).

The ingredients are not good and the pizza is very oily. Tastes more like a fast food pizza. However, delivery was super fast.

I had a delivery of the Pizza Parma. Pleasant meal, good dough, mild Parma ham. All good! Update: I ordered two more times, and the quality was less. The Parma ham was very tough, and the pizza wasn't delivered at the requested time (it was dropped off at reception an hour early, so it was cold by then).

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 3 hours for our pizza...

The two pastas actually tasted okay, and the Korean one tasted better haha. But the Gorgonzola pizza was really hot and delicious!!! It was big and delicious. Cash only is accepted here too!

The pizza is okay for a delivery service, but unfortunately it doesn't do justice to the price. The Capri pizza costs €13.50. It was floating in oil and was sometimes very heavily salted. The edge is thick but not fluffy. The topping wasn't particularly high quality/fresh either.

We've been to di alessa's three times today and we're always thrilled. Top service, top food, top quality!! We will be visiting you very often

Short vacation over New Year's Eve in Mainz. We found a very good pizzeria. "Small but nice!" The pizzas were super tasty and at absolutely humane prices. My wife loved the gnocchi. You can see the love in the food. Sounds strange, but it is true. Service top! >Best Grappa< Great!!!

Today I had dinner at Di Alessa in Mainz - a visit that was long overdue after several friends repeatedly persuaded me to try the restaurant. To be honest, I'm someone who rarely tries new places because I usually stick with the tried and tested. But this time I brought myself to do it and I have to say: I was more than pleasantly surprised! As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed the pleasant atmosphere. It is modern yet comfortably furnished, with a clear focus on cleanliness. For me personally, hygiene is an extremely important point, and the Di Alessa impressed in all areas - especially the toilets, which were really impeccably clean. That immediately left a great impression. Even though I came without a reservation, I received a very friendly welcome and was able to get a seat even though the restaurant was busy. This was a big plus for me, as many restaurants are often difficult to get into without a reservation. The Service: From the start, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive without being intrusive. I immediately felt at home and had the feeling that great value was placed on hospitality here. My order was taken quickly and I was impressed at how quickly my food came to the table. The food: Now to the most important thing: the food! I have to be honest, I have rarely been served such fresh and tasty dishes. Everything was not only a visual delight, but also tasted fantastic. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used here. The portions were just right and every detail, from presentation to preparation, was just top notch. The drinks came nice and cold and complemented the meal perfectly. Conclusion: Overall, my visit to Di Alessa was a real surprise, in the best sense of the word. It's rare that a restaurant impresses me in so many ways: from cleanliness to service to the quality of the food. I can safely say that this wasn't my last visit - in fact, I'm already planning to come back soon. Di Alessa has the potential to become my new go-to shop and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! The attention to detail is really special. The Capri pizza was topped with high-quality burrata and also garnished with pomegranate seeds and pesto. At €13 a piece it's also outstandingly priced. Add to that very nice service and fresh flowers on the table, what more could you want? We'd love to come back.

The restaurant is really cozy and the service is very friendly. Soft, pleasant music plays in the background, creating a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a Pizza Napoli while my girlfriend chose a Frutti di Mare. The shape of the pizza is reminiscent of the Neapolitan style, although the dough on the edges is not as airy as a real Neapolitan pizza, but rather dry. Overall the pizza was tasty but lacked a bit of the authentic Italian touch.

The espresso tastes really good!! 😍 I drank a strawberry lemonade, it was great! Fresh berries, peppermint and lime took the whole thing to a higher level. This means the price is fully justified. €5 for 0.5l is fine. There were four of us and we paid 20 euros per person, two or three drinks each and a pizza. Highly recommended! 🤩

By far the best pizza in Mainz!!! Whether on site - with the best service - or by delivery - in no time at all - with di Alessa you can never go wrong. I recommend the Pizza Capri, but the pasta also tastes great! The ingredients are always of the highest quality! I'm already looking forward to the next pizza.

You can sit outside and the food itself was really good. We had fried vegetables as a starter, pasta with pesto & salad with beef fillet as a main course, and tiramisu as dessert. All recommended.

I had the best pizza here in a long time. A wonderfully topped, delicious Parma pizza! My companion had a pizza Frutti the Mare, which was also very tasty! The base is not too thin and the edge is not dry, but fluffy. Simply wonderful! The service was also very friendly. Unfortunately I can only judge the ambience based on the outside area, as we sat outside. But it also gave such a positive impression. Absolutely recommended!
