Di Alessa in Mainz

Arrived in Mainz in the evening and then looked for a way to have something to eat near the hotel. I found this restaurant via Google Maps. Inconspicuous from the outside and not exactly comfortable inside. There aren't really many places either. The service was friendly and quick, as was the kitchen. My pasta was absolutely delicious. Price-performance ratio fits.

Unfortunately the kitchen was having a bad day. In the salad there were ingredients from the day before, as well as the bread from the bruchetta. the pizza was soggy...everything was extremely disappointing. Service staff very friendly (but this cannot make up for the negative rating of the food).

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Great quality, friendly and unobtrusive service. Price + performance more than top!!! We'll come back even if we have a longer journey.

The ingredients are not good and the pizza is very oily. Tastes more like a fast food pizza. However, delivery was super fast.

I had a delivery of the Pizza Parma. Pleasant meal, good dough, mild Parma ham. All good! Update: I ordered two more times, and the quality was less. The Parma ham was very tough, and the pizza wasn't delivered at the requested time (it was dropped off at reception an hour early, so it was cold by then).

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 3 hours for our pizza...

The two pastas actually tasted okay, and the Korean one tasted better haha. But the Gorgonzola pizza was really hot and delicious!!! It was big and delicious. Cash only is accepted here too!

The pizza is okay for a delivery service, but unfortunately it doesn't do justice to the price. The Capri pizza costs €13.50. It was floating in oil and was sometimes very heavily salted. The edge is thick but not fluffy. The topping wasn't particularly high quality/fresh either.

Short vacation over New Year's Eve in Mainz. We found a very good pizzeria. "Small but nice!" The pizzas were super tasty and at absolutely humane prices. My wife loved the gnocchi. You can see the love in the food. Sounds strange, but it is true. Service top! >Best Grappa< Great!!!

Today I had dinner at Di Alessa in Mainz - a visit that was long overdue after several friends repeatedly persuaded me to try the restaurant. To be honest, I'm someone who rarely tries new places because I usually stick with the tried and tested. But this time I brought myself to do it and I have to say: I was more than pleasantly surprised! As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed the pleasant atmosphere. It is modern yet comfortably furnished, with a clear focus on cleanliness. For me personally, hygiene is an extremely important point, and the Di Alessa impressed in all areas - especially the toilets, which were really impeccably clean. That immediately left a great impression. Even though I came without a reservation, I received a very friendly welcome and was able to get a seat even though the restaurant was busy. This was a big plus for me, as many restaurants are often difficult to get into without a reservation. The Service: From the start, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive without being intrusive. I immediately felt at home and had the feeling that great value was placed on hospitality here. My order was taken quickly and I was impressed at how quickly my food came to the table. The food: Now to the most important thing: the food! I have to be honest, I have rarely been served such fresh and tasty dishes. Everything was not only a visual delight, but also tasted fantastic. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used here. The portions were just right and every detail, from presentation to preparation, was just top notch. The drinks came nice and cold and complemented the meal perfectly. Conclusion: Overall, my visit to Di Alessa was a real surprise, in the best sense of the word. It's rare that a restaurant impresses me in so many ways: from cleanliness to service to the quality of the food. I can safely say that this wasn't my last visit - in fact, I'm already planning to come back soon. Di Alessa has the potential to become my new go-to shop and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! The attention to detail is really special. The Capri pizza was topped with high-quality burrata and also garnished with pomegranate seeds and pesto. At €13 a piece it's also outstandingly priced. Add to that very nice service and fresh flowers on the table, what more could you want? We'd love to come back.

Really such a lovely little restaurant. Food was really excellent! Large portions and really very good quality. The service is really very nice. Finally he even helped us get home by ordering us a beer. Really highly recommended. If we come to Mainz again, we will come again

The restaurant is really cozy and the service is very friendly. Soft, pleasant music plays in the background, creating a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a Pizza Napoli while my girlfriend chose a Frutti di Mare. The shape of the pizza is reminiscent of the Neapolitan style, although the dough on the edges is not as airy as a real Neapolitan pizza, but rather dry. Overall the pizza was tasty but lacked a bit of the authentic Italian touch.

Very cute, tastefully decorated restaurant. Friendly and fast service, menu not large but balanced. All preferences are covered. Special requests (different types of cheese) are carried out without any problems. Pizza has thin and crispy MEGA delicious dough, sufficiently well topped with fresh ingredients, i.e. very 😋 tasty. The espresso tastes really good!! 😍 I drank a strawberry lemonade, it was great! Fresh berries, peppermint and lime took the whole thing to a higher level. This means the price is fully justified. €5 for 0.5l is fine. There were four of us and we paid 20 euros per person, two or three drinks each and a pizza. Highly recommended! 🤩

By far the best pizza in Mainz!!! Whether on site - with the best service - or by delivery - in no time at all - with di Alessa you can never go wrong. You can sit outside and the food itself was really good. We had fried vegetables as a starter, pasta with pesto & salad with beef fillet as a main course, and tiramisu as dessert. All recommended.

I had the best pizza here in a long time. A wonderfully topped, delicious Parma pizza! My companion had a pizza Frutti the Mare, which was also very tasty! The base is not too thin and the edge is not dry, but fluffy. Simply wonderful! The service was also very friendly. Unfortunately I can only judge the ambience based on the outside area, as we sat outside. But it also gave such a positive impression. Absolutely recommended!

The pizza was very good, one of the best in Mainz. The saffron noodles were also very good if you left out the parsley. Unfortunately, this really affected the taste. In my opinion it doesn't fit the dish and should be included in the product description.

Excellent pizza, homemade dough (unfortunately not a given here in Mainz) which rises excellently in the stone oven. The pizza was tasty and not too full. Starters and homemade lemonades are also recommended. The restaurant is rather small inside, but has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is always very friendly. We mainly pick up here or have it delivered.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort essen und sind echt begeistert! Salat und Pizza waren angerichtet wie in einem feinen Restaurant und geschmacklich der Wahnsinn. Man merkt, dass hier alles selbst gemacht wird und viel Liebe im Detail steckt. Für diese Qualität sind die Preise wirklich schon fast zu billig (14€ ein Salat mit Rinderstreifen/10,50€ für eine große Pizza mit gutem Belag). Ich würde hier sogar 3-4€ mehr pro Gericht zahlen und finde das ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Weiter so! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!! Ich kann es jedem wirklich sehr empfehlen!

Hervorragendes Essen, das gilt sowohl für Pizza als auch Pasta als auch Desserts. Service generell völlig in Ordnung, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider aber keine Kartenzahlung möglich und auch die kippelnden, völlig instabilen Plastiktische draußen sind dem Lokal schlicht unwürdig. Auch die Nähe zu den Nachbartischen ist teilweise alles andere als schön und den selbstbewussten - hinsichtlich des Essens jedoch ausdrücklich angemessenen - Preisen unwürdig. Also ein paar Schwächen, die eigentlich auch noch abgeschaltet werden können. Das wichtigste, nämlich gutes Essen, können sie definitiv.

Die Pizzeria hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Die Location befindet sich zwar in einem Wohngebiet hat aber dennoch Charme mit ihren innen und Aussenbereichen und ihren sauberen Sanitär Anlagen. Personal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und das Essen lässt nicht auf sich warten Essen ist genau wie wir es uns gewünscht haben Ich werde mich sicher gerne an den Laden erinnern
