La Quesadilla in Hamburg

We celebrated my birthday there at the weekend, platters were prepared for us and everything was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was great and the food was great, thanks to the team for their effort, always happy and highly recommended!

We were there for my friend's birthday and it was unbelievably good! We had the vegetarian mix platter and were so full🤭 Margarita was also great (also to go 🥳🤭) and the homemade shot even more so 🤤 - in short: we'll definitely be back! 🌮

It was a celebration for us to be your guests again. As always, the food was delicious and the house rum was sold in bottles. Until the next visit and thank you for the lovely evening.

The cocktails were good, the ambience was quite sweet, but the food was a bit underwhelming, unfortunately we were a bit disappointed :/

On October 25th, 2024 we celebrated a Christmas party with the Jungheinrich company at La Quesadilla with 28 people. The organization and planning was very professional. Everything that was discussed was adhered to. The food was excellent, we ordered plates for each table with everything on the menu and drinks. My personal favorite Plato Mixto Pinche Cab and Nacho Chips Avocardo. I can highly recommend the location and the restaurant, everyone was very satisfied. Next year we will celebrate again in La Quesadilla. Best regards from Jungheinrich.

Excessively expensive. It tasted relatively good. Even the Mexican culinary Krombacher cannot make up for the expensive price. Hipster inner city nonsense for people with too much money. I can also pour a Corona upside down into a glass at home...

Horrible experience. The food was the worst I have had in a long time. Taste, quality, presentation, all was extremely bad. We left almost half the servings in our plates. I don't even want to mention the terrible service. My advice is to stay away from this place.

Wow, that was delicious!!! Good portions. The store also has Mexican decor and Mexican music was playing. For me, THIS is part of a good Mexican restaurant! I'll go there more often. (Visit 2024: unfortunately no Mexican music, but everything else: perfect!

Unfortunately I have to give a bad review. One thing in advance: The quesadillas here are delicious and I have already ordered them several times. But when I ordered tacos, for example, I'm pretty sure I got another quesadilla. Which isn't a bad thing in itself - it tastes good. My criticism: the nachos, see picture. We were really craving nachos. But firstly, these were extremely expensive - €26 for what is shown in the picture: around €10 for the simple version (top of the picture), around €15 for the "Supreme" version. Both were very similar, except that the "Supreme" had some cheese and a few onions on it, see picture. Tomatoes were missing even though they are listed in the menu. Both nacho portions were cold - how do you manage that when the "Supreme" was supposed to be gratinated with cheese? Maybe you see it differently, but I think €26 for these cold, unfresh nachos is extremely overpriced. Nachos taste good even out of a package in the store. One had the impression that these were old. When we raised this with the restaurant, our criticism was not acknowledged - we were told the nachos were "fresh and good" as they were supposedly delivered daily. We found this reaction very unfortunate because we actually enjoyed ordering here. But with this service and the lack of willingness to respond to customer feedback, we will not be returning. Nevertheless, I wish you God's blessing and all the best.

The food and cocktails are delicious and very authentic. The waitress (the owner's daughter) acted very stressed and was impatient to answer questions about the food. She loudly complained about us complicated guests. The rest of the staff, however, was very friendly.

Without ever having been to Mexico or the Caribbean, I have the impression that the food here is quite authentic. The vegetarian selection is large, without any newfangled meat substitute products and, without exception, everything tasted very good. The service was very friendly, courteous and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Were here in person for the first time (ordered outside the house once) The atmosphere and staff are informal and very friendly. The food from A to Z was very tasty, fresh and what you would imagine from texmex cuisine (I find it difficult to judge whether it is authentic since I have never been to Mexico or Latin America...) We can definitely recommend a visit here and especially the food and would be happy to come back if we get the chance

Kitchen is only occupied from 5 p.m. The opening time on Google was 4:30 p.m. Food was very tasty. It's not cheap.

A nice place, nice service. I just didn't warm up to the food. Everything was kind of mushy and lame, not at all spicy or sweet and sour or crunchy. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. If you want spicy rather than mushy, it's definitely better to get advice beforehand.

A little piece of Mexico in the city! La Quesadilla Restaurant is a true gem for lovers of Mexican cuisine. A visit here is like a little trip to Mexico, full of colors, taste and warmth. The food is simply fantastic. From the freshly made tacos to the hearty enchiladas, every dish is delicious and tastes like it came straight from a Mexican kitchen. The ingredients are fresh and all dishes (even the nachos and taco shells) are homemade. Totally recommended for anyone looking for super authentic Mexican cuisine in a great atmosphere!

Can't beat the authenticity! If you want to eat Mexican food, this is a real insider tip in Hamburg. We held our Christmas party here last year and were completely impressed. The menu is very diverse and offers something for everyone. The vegetarian dishes are super tasty and there is also a lot for meat fans.

Nicely designed store and the service is very good. Unfortunately, eating is not recommended. The tacos are filled with iceberg lettuce... and have little to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. Expensive for what is served is probably due to the high rent. Unfortunately not an adequate replacement for the taqueria.

It is the best Mexican restaurant in Hamburg - even a little better than Gaucho. You will be welcomed by a cheerful, authentic team and led into an atmosphere reminiscent of a festival of the dead. Lots of masks, bright neon colors, super nice decoration. The food is incredibly tasty, there is a very large selection of vegetarian specialties and the cocktails are also great.

The food was very good, but not cheap either. As far as I can tell, more authentic than Texmex stores. However, Tacos Al Pastor are actually from the rotisserie. It wasn't there. The service is nice, but completely unprofessional. The students fought over every move in colloquial language while the boss sat around smoking. Then a table was rearranged very noisily, so that we couldn't understand a word. Not professional inside either, no card payment, no draft beer, no soap and no towels in the toilet.

We went there for a super delicious cocktail.

The most authentic Mexican food I've had in all of Europe! Really fresh ingredients (wonderful and authentic salsas and fried plantains made in house!) and everything prepared from scratch and with love and care. Really a great place that provides a unique experience in Hamburg and just has really great food and very friendly service. And they have enchiladas - real enchiladas! I'll be back.

An authentic Mexican restaurant. There is a full range of Mexican food, from quesadillas to burritos to enchiladas. The waitresses are friendly and you can enjoy the evening sun on the large terrace. For dessert I recommend the mango cheesecake.

Spontaneously with an event we planned in this restaurant, we wanted to check in advance whether it would be a good fit. The equipment is unusual and somewhat crazy. Absolutely authentic, the restaurant is reminiscent of Mexican traditions and tempts you to look at what there is to see everywhere. Very worth seeing! The menu is filled with typical Mexican dishes and invites you to order everything. It should be said that the portions fill you up. The food is delicious for the palate and the eye. A little tip, if you like spicy food you should ask for the hot sauce 🌶️. The waitress and at the same time the owner were absolutely fitting, we were 🤩 thrilled by the joke and the recommendation from the menu. All in all a successful evening. The prices match the food and ambience, delicious delicious delicious! We will definitely be back….! The homemade cheesecake is amazing 😍 Muy bien

We’ve agreed on being outside and as soon as a table was free we would have been notified, the waitress was outside on a table smoking with some friend while we were waiting to order, besides that a table was leaving, and when we tried to enter, the waitress with no explanation said to the other couple that arrived 10min later than us, that they should enter, looking at us, up a down, saying that we should wait for the next table, 20minutes after we arrived, no order has been taken, treated like we weren’t even there, probably the worst experience I’ve ever had on a date, condescending treatment, with airs of superiority, and leaving us without a response
