La Quesadilla in Hamburg

It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and I felt very comfortable. I will definitely go back more often and try other dishes. Highly recommended!

Something unique in Hamburg! As a Hispanic, it's very difficult for food in Europe, outside of Latin America, to transport me to that magical moment of flavors. There are very few restaurants that truly capture the authentic taste of Mexican food, using original ingredients to create a mouth-watering explosion of flavors. La Quesadilla is one of those places I can recommend to anyone who wants to experience the best of Mexican cuisine. Furthermore, the staff is absolutely charming, and the owners are incredibly friendly and attentive to customer service. A 10/10 for them. My wife is thrilled with the chicken quesadilla.

The ambiance is very authentic, and the restaurant is generally very beautiful and decorated with attention to detail. Unfortunately, the tablecloth wasn't clean. The food was well presented, but the taste could have been better.

I ordered my food through Lieferando. My family and I love this Mexican restaurant, and the food is delicious and very authentic! One dish was missing from the delivery. So I called the restaurant. A huge compliment! They personally delivered the missing food and added some delicious nacho chips. What great service! I was very happy! Thank you so much!

The food is really delicious. We ordered a cocktail we didn't really like, and they exchanged it without any problems. The atmosphere in the courtyard is very nice. No long waits for drinks or food.

The authentic Mexican food is delicious, along with delicious drinks and beautiful presentation. The restaurant's space is fantastic. It has an indoor area with beautiful, cheerful decor, and the colorful outdoor area is a real treat in the late afternoon with the lights on. It's a super pleasant place to enjoy with your partner or with a group.

Long waiting time to get your food on a typical day which was not busy at all. if you are in a hurry I do not recommend this place.

We were there one evening with four adults and three children and weren't happy except for the food. The food was good, but was it worth €230? We didn't think so! The main server was really unpleasant. Absolutely arrogant, we didn't feel comfortable. We ordered two more fries, which took 40 minutes. We were already finished by the time the fries arrived. The ambiance inside is nice, but it was really dirty. We wouldn't come again.

As a mexican I cannot in good faith leave a good review here. This is not real mexican food. I ordered the Pollo Chipotle Enchilada and was a big disappointment. 1. The quality of the tortillas that they use is subpar is not like in any other restaurants, and for the price it is outrageous. 15€ for an enchilada when in other restaurants like Jim Burrito you pay 8/9€. 2. I was expecting chicken marinated in a chipotle sauce, but no, it is just chicken but they drizzle some chipotle sauce on top. 3. Also It was nothing like an enchilada, enchiladas in Mexico do not come with rice, or salad and side of beans. 4. The side of beans was miniscule, the only tasty thing on the plate, and probably came from a can. 5. The salad was meeee and supposedly came with Guacamole, more like some chunks of avocado. 6. The worst part was the rice, if it was supposed to be a mexican rice, that was bad, really bad. Oily, bland not a tomato sauce rice like in mexico or with any vegetables. It was badly reheated, and mine was even very, very undercook, still crunchy. I even mentioned it to what seems to be the owner and he agreed, but didn't react, not even a drink on the house or a discount on the bill. Nothing. After speaking with him it was clear that the guy was not Mexican, south american yes, but no Mexican and that is reflected on the food. Como Mexicano no puedo recomendar este lugar, osea, no es mexicano. El dueño no es mexicano y claramente no tienen ni idea de lo que es comida mexicana auténtica. Basicamente se saco de la manga un par de cosas y aunque fuera TexMex ni siquiera está rico y muy muy caro.

We ate there with four people on June 21, 2025, and were very impressed. We were particularly impressed by the Caribbean dishes. The service was very friendly and competent. The ambiance on the outdoor terrace appealed to us. We will return. Google says they only accept cash payments, which is incorrect—they gladly accept debit cards.

Enchilada mit Käse bestellt, Enchilada mit Huhn bekommen. Ich esse kein Fleisch. Der Dude laberte am Telefon, ich soll das Fleisch "runternehmen". Das Fleisch ist mit dem Käse verbacken 🤣 nix "runternehmen" möglich. Statt irgendeine Lösung zu bieten, legte der Honk auf, weil "keine Zeit". 🤣 Ernsthaft? Keine Zeit, einen Fehler des Restaurants zu korrigieren?! Hier die Konsequenz: negative Bewertung. Stammkunde verloren. Keine Empfehlung mehr im Freundes-, Bekannten- und Patientenkreis und der Kreis ist verdammt groß....😁 War es das wert?! 🤗

The shop is beautifully designed and also offers a pleasant outdoor dining area. The food was very good, although it took a while to arrive due to the small kitchen. The only real drawback is the prices, which can be a bit on the expensive side.

The food was cold, and we had to wait a long time for service even though there were only two people there. The location was quiet and beautiful.

I recently visited for the first time and sat outside on the terrace. Unfortunately, it seemed rather untidy – various items were lying around on the sides, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The food was good, which pleased me. My cocktail, however, was unfortunately quite watery and lacked much flavor. The service was friendly, but overall rather disorganized and not particularly attentive. Overall, a mixed impression – with a little more attention to the ambiance and service, it could be a really nice place.

Big disappointment. The terrace is fine. But inside, it's terrible. Everything is dusty, broken furniture, cobwebs and dead flies. This has nothing to do with a comfortable atmosphere! The food itself was okay, but it didn't deserve any praise either. The service was unattentive and unfriendly. It wasn't worth the money, especially since the prices are already very high.

I had the jerk chicken. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with the jerk chicken I'm used to from Jamaica. Perhaps they should point that out if it's a different preparation method. The rest was quite good, albeit a bit more expensive. The atmosphere is great, both in winter and outside in summer.

We went to the not very full restaurant and placed the order. The drinks and dessert came quickly to the table... and that was it. After about an hour we asked how long it would take. Turns out our order was completely forgotten and we had to leave the "restaurant" pretty pissed and hungry. That was our first and definitely last visit.

Great Mexican restaurant with a great selection of delicious food and beers. You can sit inside and outside. There's music playing inside that really sets the mood. There is enough space outside and you can sit well here. Nevertheless, it is advisable to reserve in advance as it is rightly very popular. The service is super friendly and attentive. The menu reads very well and with such a large selection it is really difficult to decide. The food is very filling and tastes great. The beer selection is also impressive, very good. For dessert, a mango cheesecake is offered, a must. A great restaurant with great potential to come back. 🇲🇽

Super delicious burritos and guacamole!

Nachos with various dips were ok, Jamaican jerk chicken with Scotch sauce is recommended, as is a burrito with beef, and we were able to taste some Mexican beers. Cocktails also tasted very good. They didn't want to give us the sunny table on the terrace, even though there were hardly any guests there - but we were given a tiny table in the shade. No paper towels in the toilet, soap dispenser empty. We still liked it for a one-off visit, but would stop somewhere else next time.

I've been here several times now and can highly recommend the restaurant. We usually order the mixed platter for two people and a burrito with pulled beef. There's everything your heart desires, from grilled vegetables to a variety of Mexican dishes to delicious dips. What I particularly like is that the food is so varied and a real experience in the mouth. It's fresh, sour and a bit spicy, but also very deep in flavor. My favorite remains the pulled beef burrito. Above all, I have never eaten the pulled beef itself with the seasoning like that. And the small salad that came with it also surprised me positively the first time. The mango-passion fruit dressing is very unusual and definitely something different, but also in a positive sense. The ambience is very flashy and loud, but in my opinion it fits perfectly with the loud and lively food. The service has never disappointed us either. Always nice and attentive staff. A big recommendation for anyone looking for a good Mexican in Hamburg

Were in Hamburg for three days and the trip from Aachen was worth it just for the food. The cuisine is absolutely outstanding. Everything is fresh and tastefully prepared. The staff is super friendly and you immediately feel welcome. A break from everyday life and we will come here every time we visit Hamburg in the future.

Since we moved to Hamburg almost six months ago, we've been looking for a place where Latin American food really makes us feel at home. After several disappointments, we finally discovered La Quesadilla - and it felt like a piece of Latin America in Germany. The food is simply fantastic. Not only is it “good for Latin American food in Germany,” but it would be outstanding in any city in Latin America. Here in Hamburg that makes it a 20/10. Every bite transported us home, with authentic flavors and that homemade taste found only in the best places in our culture. The atmosphere and service make the experience even better. Max, the owner, is the soul of the restaurant. You can feel his charisma and dedication in every dish and in the warm hospitality. This was by far the best meal we have had since arriving in Germany. If you are looking for a piece of Latin America in Hamburg, you definitely have to go to La Quesadilla. 100% recommended!

Originally furnished, unfortunately a bit small and quickly around the entrance area, especially in winter. Definitely great in summer, also thanks to the terrace at the front. Good selection and food came very quickly.

I always enjoy going to La Qesadilla. The food is always a 10/10 (I find the Fried Fire Chicken and Grilled Cheese Tacos to be the tastiest). They have a large and varied selection of food and you can also get alcoholic drinks non-alcoholic. The margaritas are a 10/10. Inside you immediately feel like you're in a restaurant in Mexico! This store is definitely worth a visit!
