Wir waren zu zweit hier essen und hatten einen wirklich tollen Abend. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr angenehm und gemütlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Ich hatte die Enchiladas mit Pulled Chicken und sie waren einfach fantastisch. Sehr lecker und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders begeistert haben mich auch die verschiedenen scharfen Saucen, die zur Auswahl standen. Da war für jeden Schärfegrad etwas dabei und sie haben das Essen noch einmal aufgewertet. Insgesamt war das Erlebnis hervorragend und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, guter Geschmack, würzig usw., bei allem Respekt vor authentischer mexikanischer Küche, das muss man klarstellen. Das Problem war, dass wir Burritos zum Mitnehmen bestellt hatten und es weder Besteck noch Servietten gab. Der Burrito war riesig, sodass man ihn unmöglich bequem halten konnte; zu allem Übel lag er auch noch in einem See aus Salsa im Behälter ... DAS HAT DIE KLÄRUNG NICHT VERHINDERT!

Meine Begleitung und ich waren gestern gegen frühen Abend dort und haben jeweils einen Burrito bestellt, einen mit Reis, einen mit Kartoffeln. Beide sehr gut, allerdings war der mit den Kartoffeln unser Favorit. Bedienung sehr freundlich, essen kam schnell, Portion super ausreichend. Rustikal eingerichtet, aber alles sehr sauber. Als wir gegen 18:30 Uhr gegangen sind, war jeder Platz belegt! Kleines Manko -> Cash only. Trotzdem gerne wieder!

Der beste Burrito der Stadt! Ich war noch nie in Mexiko, aber so stelle ich mir den Geschmack vor. Die Qualität ist immer top, die Mitarbeiter sind supernett und die Atmosphäre und Musik sind immer schön und authentisch. Wenn du in der Nähe der Reeperbahn einen tollen Ort suchst, um in den Abend zu starten, bist du hier genau richtig. P.S.: Ich vermisse den Kicker daneben! ✌️

Geiler Schuppen. Der Mexikaner war pfeffrig, richtig gut. Der Taco Teller kann auch zwei Hungrige versorgen 🌮

Zum Hafengeburtstag hatte ich einen vegetarischen Burrito mit Reis. Der war mega gut! Eine schöne große Portion und lecker, zu einem günstigen Preis. Ich war voll satt und zufrieden. Die Toilette und so sehen jetzt nicht mehr arg modern aus. Kiez-Atmosphärisch!

Leckeres Essen in ungewöhnlichen Style. Das Essen muss an der Theke bestellt und auch dort bezahlt werden. Die Portionen sind groß und der Preis deshalb angemessen. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und die Leute waren freundlich.

Das Lokal war fantastisch. Die Portionen waren riesig, der Service exzellent und die künstlerische, lateinamerikanische Atmosphäre rundete das Ganze perfekt ab. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kann es jedem empfehlen, der in St. Pauli unterwegs ist.

Ein teures mexikanisches Restaurant, welches aber jeden Euro Wert ist! Der Geschmack ist mega lecker und die Portionsgrößen sehr groß. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Kleiner Nachteil: Reservierung ist nicht möglich und somit muss man Glück haben um ein Platz zu bekommen.

Dezember 2025 Uriges kleines Restaurant. Kleine Karte aber dafür was Angeboten wird ist es richtig gut. Wenn man sich einen Burrito sollte man genügend Hunger mitbringen. Dazu kann man spanisches oder mexikanisches Bier bestellen.😉Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

Tolles und leckeres mexikanisches Essen in riesigen Portionen zu guten Preisen! Das Personal ist obendrein super lieb und hilfsbereit! Auch die vegane Auswahl ist gut! Es gibt vegane Burritos und Tortillas und auch das Chilli sin Carne kann auf Wunsch vegan zubereitet werden. Bei jedem Besuch in Hamburg versuche ich mindestens ein Mal hier zu essen.

Das Essen hier ist herausragend gut. Ich hatte den besten Burrito, den ich je gegessen habe. Die Leute, sowohl Kunden, als auch Mitarbeitende sind sympathisch und freundlich. Vom Raum her etwas beengt, aber das macht es auch irgendwie gemütlich. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist kaum zu toppen, für 10-13 Euro bekommt man hier eine Portion, von der man richtig satt wird. Bei meinem nächsten Hamburg Besuch komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder.

Essen ist inordnung. Der Look ist cool gemacht. Leider was nicht schön ist das ein Hund in die Küche war und das Personal dem Hund per Hand ein Stück vom Essen gib undüber den Kopf streichelt und wieder den Gästen das Essen zubereitet. Leider hatte ich schon aufgesessen. Sowas gehört sich nicht. Wenn man schon eine offene Küche hat, dann bitte Hygiene beachten.

Die KOMBÜSE ist ein fantastischer, rustikaler Burrito-Laden mit durchweg leckerem Essen und vor allem riesigen Portionen. Die Atmosphäre ist toll, und es ist immer ordentlich was los. Hier spürt man die Lebensfreude! Was die Portionen angeht: Achtung! Geteilte Nachos als Vorspeise sind fast schon zu viel, um danach noch einen ganzen Burrito oder eine Enchilada zu schaffen, selbst wenn man hungrig ist. Was jedoch negativ auffällt und wirklich nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist: Im Jahr 2025 wird hier nur Barzahlung akzeptiert. Das ist ein echtes No-Go und muss sich dringend ändern! Trotz dieses Mankos: Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet, schmeckt super und ist ein Gaumenschmaus. Man sollte nur daran denken, genug Bargeld mitzunehmen.

Geschmacklich immer wieder Bombe und ne Portion zum echt satt werden.

Sehr geiles Essen! Was die Sauberkeit und Hygiene angeht ist aber Luft nach oben - gerade auch weil man in die Küche hinein sieht.

10/10 Man erwartet diese Qualität von den Speisen nicht ansatzweise. Selbstgemachte Krautsalat, selbstgemachte Remoulade, Bratkartoffeln mit Speck so perfekt von Roastbeef muss man garnicht sprechen, die Optik beschreibt es perfekt. Zwei Bier vom Fass. 1++++ und voll underrated.

Das Essen ist durchschnittlich lecker, wenn auch nicht besonders authentisch. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die großzügige Portion, vor allem angesichts des Preises. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, aber das Lokal bräuchte dringend eine Renovierung, da es nicht sauber und ordentlich wirkt. Der Service ist nicht vorhanden; die Tatsache, dass im Jahr 2025 immer noch nur Bargeld akzeptiert wird, spricht Bände.

Tolles uriges und gleichzeitig sehr authentisches Restaurant mit tollem Service leckerem Essen und sehr authentischen Ambiente Man kann hier mit Karte aber auch mit Bargeld zahlen Ob man zu zweit ist oder ein größerer Gruppe. Wir haben jetzt viele Konstellationen durch und sind jedes Mal höchst zufrieden.

Ein unscheinbares Restaurant mit tollem, leckerem Essen zu unschlagbaren Preisen. Hamburg ist allein deswegen eine Reise wert.

Die Kombüse in St. Pauli (Bernhard-Nocht-Straße 51) ist eine echt coole Adresse für mexikanisches Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre.  Die Portionen sind großzügig, die Burritos, Enchiladas & Co. schmecken hausgemacht und mit Liebe – und auch Vegetarier und Veganer kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten.  Das Ambiente ist unkompliziert, etwas rustikal, mit einem Hauch von „Mexikanisch-Kalifornisch“ im Stil, und draußen gibt es dekorative Plätze, die besonders an warmen Abenden sehr angenehm sind.  Der Service war freundlich und locker – genau passend zum Gesamtkonzept. Wenn du in Hamburg bist und Lust auf herzhaftes mexikanisches Essen mit Charakter hast, kann ich die Kombüse wärmstens empfehlen.

I've been here several times and have found the food to be consistently delicious. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside, but you can always find a nice spot inside, too. The service is unfussy, and you order/pay at the counter.

Always super friendly, absolutely delicious, and the prices are totally fair. Ask for advice on what you want to eat; the staff will be happy to help. The portions are very filling. I enjoy eating here.

I went there spontaneously – and was absolutely thrilled! The galley feels like a little trip to Mexico in the heart of St. Pauli. My burrito was not only huge, but also incredibly delicious and fresh. The staff was incredibly welcoming, almost like visiting friends. I felt completely at home – I'll definitely be back!

Ten of us went there at the beginning of May, and we were all thrilled with the food and the friendly service. I had to push our reservation back a bit, which was absolutely no problem. I've also never experienced a situation where, when the ingredients change, you get a snack as compensation for the wait. If we come back to Hamburg, we will definitely eat there.

Hello. The atmosphere this place exudes is simply unsurpassed. At first glance, the restaurant seems a bit run-down, and at second glance, too. If the food is missing a topping, the white plaster ceiling, which is already hanging at 7:30, should definitely suffice. The service staff, always trying hard but with significant deductions in terms of attitude, make it clear to intellectual free spirits that this business has no room for comfort and cigarette breaks, although a simple "your food is here" would have sufficed. These employees definitely don't get a 13th salary for customer service.

There were actually enough seats, but we were immediately turned away. What a pity.

The food was tasty and fast. The staff was nice. They have a decent selection of hot sauces (very important for me) and prices are good. It is kind of a no frills experience, you order at the counter and they bring it to you when it is ready. Strange choice in music (the Halloween movie theme song was playing at one point) but it lends itself to the overall kitchy vibe. I would gladly go back. Cash only.

The burritos are huge and taste good, but aren't really cheap either! With a drink you can quickly reach 20.-... The waiting time was a bit long at just under 30 minutes... maybe I was unlucky. Otherwise, the service was nice and the ambience matched the term "caboose"...

No, just no, go somewhere else, the store isn't there

You're pretty, sexy even, but when the two of us sat down and said "Thank you," you ignored us. Then we wanted to order main courses - unfortunately they were sold out and there were only snacks left. We ordered two portions and when you brought the food you only had one set of cutlery. We are two people - do we really have to ask if we need two pieces of cutlery? We're never coming back. And of course there are no tips either!

Excellent value for money. Just clarify that it is not Mexican food, but Tex-Mex, which is from the south of the USA. The dishes are delicious and very large.

We had the chicken burrito...very good, tasty, and fresh. It was well seasoned, and the portions were really generous for us. The service was friendly, and we got our food quickly. The interior is quite spartan, but we liked it. Only the cool draft from the entrance door was unpleasant, as the door couldn't be closed properly. We would eat there more often; they have a good selection that we would have liked to try.

I am convinced after my first visit. The menu has a promising selection and I liked the vegetarian food very much, and I also found it to be inexpensive. And the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. The wait was worth it :)

Anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine will be disappointed here. Portions are large and you get full, but that's where it ends. Iceberg lettuce and grated Gouda from the bag, boring bean paste and unseasoned minced meat are just a few ingredients we didn't expect. People are nice, but unfortunately that wasn't our case at all.

A little trip to Hamburg and our hunger brought us here. The food is authentic; I've had one or two worse meals in LA. Be careful with the Reaper sauce, it has more than just power!

In Hamburg on business and looking for something tasty, I found what I was looking for in the galley. The room is spartan but with nice little details, not necessarily luxurious, but honest and open. The meal takes a while, but you get a powerful and filling burrito. You should be able to eat if you want to completely eat the thing! But the beef burrito I had was delicious and very fresh. The guacamole was excellent, the beans and rice were cooked well and weren't mushy. I only knew the quesadilla differently. It was more like a delicious little Margherita. But all in all a really successful, tasty and filling evening. I would love to come back.

Not great for vegans as the dishes offered lack a lot of flavour. But it’s respectable that they’re cheaper to reflect the loss of ingredients :)

Best Mexican food in Hamburg that i have ever try it!

A little crowded, but worth it! The food tasted really delicious and the portions were really big. Definitely recommended in terms of value for money. We actually wanted to reserve in advance, but unfortunately that wasn't possible. On Saturday evening the restaurant was of course very full and we didn't get a seat at first. So you might have to plan for waiting times. The waitress then kindly freed up a seat for us :) Tip: Only cash payment is accepted

Fine food, outside in good weather, that's fun! I blame the fact that there is no other way to pay other than cash on the general backwardness of Germany, especially Hamburg. But it is also very cheap.

Friendly but unfortunately completely overwhelmed team. Ordering and preparation process extremely time-consuming and unproductive. This results in very long waiting times, mediocre quality of food to say the least and, to top it all off, consistently incorrect serving. It's a shame, because the team is very friendly and the atmosphere is great.

One star deducted because incredibly bad hip hop was playing the whole time when we had to wait an hour for food on the harbor birthday, which we had every understanding for, there was really a lot going on. There is also good hip hop. A little more spice in the mince would have made the meal perfect. Update: Visit during the Reeperbahn Festival. Going to the Mexican restaurant again because it's quieter in the corner...but this time the wait for food was twice as long because this time the annoying drum and bass sound was playing and it seemed to be turned up louder and louder. So we couldn't really enjoy the food, which was very good, let alone have a conversation. I have no idea how the employees can stand it in the long run... the sound made the overall atmosphere nervous and hectic. I'll look for another Mexican where it's quieter...

We had delicious vegetarian and vegan burritos here. Absolute recommendation! However, ordering is a little different than in other restaurants: you order at the counter, then get a number, sit down and then have the food brought to the table. Payment is only possible in cash, this should be noted. There's nothing fancy here, but there's really good cuisine

I really enjoy going there after work. Very tasty burritos (including the ones with potato filling), nachos to share with the green salsa are also really good! The portions are good sized. The employees are in a great mood and open to a chat.
