The service and the food is not quite well as the rating. Unfortunately, a bad experience. Please be aware of the tacos. Horrible one even the salsa souce. And the food has also smelling very bad.

The tacos were horrible; I took one bite and felt like vomiting, and so did my friend. The service was terrible—they put us in a corner of the room and forgot about us.

Very good Mexican restaurant, we were there on a Monday around 6 p.m. and got a seat for two straight away, although it got fuller a short time later. The tacos were very good and the two lemonades we tried (Limonada de la Casa and Jamaica) were also delicious and refreshing The waitress was super friendly and authentic, so you could even order in Spanish (but of course you don't have to) We found it remarkable that there were a lot of Spanish-speaking guests there, which for us is a good sign of the authentic cuisine We paid around €45 for two main courses plus drinks and one dessert, which is a really fair price

The restaurant is decorated in a somewhat spatan style, the music was a bit loud. The service was very pleasant and helpful. At first glance the food didn't look like it would fill me up, but afterwards I was really full. The food tasted very tasty. The sauce and the cucumber salad were also very tasty. I would have liked a slightly larger portion of the cucumber salad because it was simply good. A teaspoon would have been good with the sauce to get the sauce out better. I'd love to come back.

Incredibly delicious food, incredibly nice and motivated service. I'm not really a guacamole fan, but it was a classic case of you've never had real guacamole before. The guacamole was incredibly delicious. Very fair price! I can recommend it to EVERYONE 👍

Really a shame!!! Expensive food, for small portions and without attention to detail! The store looks really charming from both the outside and the inside. Yesterday, for Valentine's Day, there were also sweet chocolate hearts on the table. The starter, nachos with guacomole and the margheritas were really tasty and beautifully presented. This promised a lot.... But unfortunately we were MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED!!! My husband ordered crispy chicken chipotle for €17, so you would expect a good portion. I ordered the burrito with beef for €16. My goodness, the portions were really small and unfortunately it felt like there was no attention to detail. The burrito consisted of around 70% rice and then a bit of beef. The food was lukewarm, but even worse, my husband just had ice cold chicken chipotle as if it had just come from the fridge. Then we noticed it and the waiter took it away without saying anything about it. So we had to eat one after the other, great for a Valentine's Day meal... There was no apology, nothing. And when he got the food back warm, the waiter asked, a bit boldly, whether it tasted good... Great, he was then allowed to eat alone. When paying, he explicitly asks if we want to give a tip (with the EC device), um no, we didn't want that! So in short I don't understand the good response here, it was a complete disaster and really sad for a Valentine's Day meal... Expensive food, for small portions and without attention to detail! We are DEFINITELY NOT coming back!

Authentic this place isn't. Maybe Mexican styled or inspired food for Germans would be more apt. Flavors are nice, but the only thing that tasted authentic were the tortillas which sadly were overloaded with so much meat that a fork and knive were needed. It was my first time in 40 years on this earth and most of them spent in Texas that I had to do so. Terrible I know. As well, with exception of the chicken the beef and pork were tough. That said, the presentation was nice and looked like they got their inspiration from a recently published cook book. However, I don't understand why any one would think it's a good idea to serve nachos with all the ingredients on the side and virtually unable to be dipped into without breaking the chips. Especially the cheese which had to be cut cause it was so hard. This was my biggest gripe and ultimately the one that disappointed me the most. Please...nachos are served with the ingredients on top of the chips. Not in separate bowls. Otherwise just serve your customers chips and salsa or guacamole. Best thing I had was the margharita which helped alleviate my snooty disgruntlements. If you've read this far and you're in Hamburg AND you want authentic Mexican food.....go to La Casita on the other side of town. It's as good or better than some taquerias I've visited in Mexico and Texas. Best wishes!

The tacos and margarita were very good

The location is nice. The burito was delicious! However: €16 is too much. For €12 I would have said great, for €16 the burito was too small or too expensive. The same goes for the lemon lemonade. The service is OK but not good. We waited a long time for our starter in an almost empty restaurant. Simple nachos. It's best to just have the main course, but as I said, the price doesn't match the food.

This place was delicious! I highly recommend it especially because they were one of the only places opened on NYE. We came rather late, but they still sat us. Loved the food, people, and feel. The nachos were great!

Was surprised with the high rating for this restaurant. The ambiance is really nice but the food is just meh, tacos and burritos aren't that good for a Mexican restaurant. The service isn't good, we had to wait long time for someone to take the order and as we didn't speak German, they tried to scam us by forcing a tip when we wanted to pay by card. Always check the ticket first and put the correct amount yourself. That was our only bad experience in Hambourd however

The nachos and tequila were okay, the tacos took more than getting used to. In addition, some of the chicken was not cooked through. The service and hygiene standards also leave something to be desired (reservation ignored, left waiting at the table for minutes without a card and then the order was taken incorrectly). Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances and cannot understand the good reviews.

That's not authentic. The food is more like Germanized Tex-Mex. It tastes good as long as you don't expect anything Mexican. The location is nice, the staff is friendly but stupid. We didn't get what we ordered half the time.

Informal Mexican restaurant located by a sf canals in the Hafencity area. Book a table if you want to be sure of getting a seat, especially at 18-19.30 it is full. The food came quite quickly and was good, but lacked the extra that you hope for. But absolutely recommendable. Disappointing selection of Mexican beer, only Sol and Corona at a rather high price. So choose a German beer instead.

Terrible customer service. Experienced a very flabby waiter. He didn't understand that we wanted to get rid of our small coins and was completely annoyed that I counted them. He just said I had notes so I should pay with them. He was mad lol

The food is delicious and the portions are large. They have quite a few vegetable options, which is appreciated. The atmosphere is good. But the best of all is the staff, especially the girl who served us both days we had dinner there. Kind, charming, attentive, a charm with us, I understand that she will be with everyone. If I spent more time in the city I would go more times just because of the treatment we received.

We were here today as a family (my husband, our son and I), had already made a reservation yesterday and were greeted very friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. The sanitary facilities are very clean and something I've never seen before: there's even a small bowl of tampons in the women's toilet 🫶🏼 The food was very very tasty! Unfortunately I didn't manage to do everything and took the rest with me! I had the Braised Beef in Red Wine Jue and I have to say it was the best I've ever had! My husband had the sweet crispy chipolte chicken and thought it was delicious too.

Very friendly and nice service. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The corn soup tasted great and the Sweet Chili Chipotle Chicken was also very tender with a fantastic and pleasantly spicy sauce and a fabulous guacamole. The only thing I didn't like was the coriander - but that's a matter of taste.

We came without a reservation and quickly and spontaneously got a table for three - despite high demand. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food left nothing to be desired. It took a while, but was fresh and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

The food is super delicious. I had never eaten Mexican before and I've been back four times because I liked it so much. I've probably already tried half the menu and found nothing that was bad! The atmosphere is very nice and you can sit outside even in summer. The service was always very nice too. All the waiters were super friendly and funny. Only recommended!

Be careful when paying by card!!! I wanted to tip €5 - the waiter repeated the entire amount and still charged himself a tip of €16. 👎 The waiters were in a good mood and chatted, as they did all evening. As a result, I wasn't paying attention during the payment process and allowed myself to be distracted. It's a real shame, the food was good and the atmosphere was good too, but if you get ripped off it's really a no go! Since the incorrect total sum was a completely different number and the waiter had also repeated the correct sum - I am convinced that it was not an oversight and that you are being ripped off here... Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until the next day. Don't make the same mistake as me. ✌️

We visited Chango in a group and I can say in advance that it won't be the last visit. The portion size is not particularly large, which is something you should know in advance if you want to eat there. But that's not because Chango wants to take advantage of you here, but because it's authentically Mexican/Spanish: Small portions and a larger selection of dishes, that's how you eat in tapas bars where it's the typical "small" Ración, of which you then order two. The atmosphere is relaxed and despite the restaurant being full at prime time, it's easy to communicate. The tables and chairs are not particularly large, but they are not uncomfortable and are arranged in such a way that you don't feel cramped. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I find that pleasant. The menu contains typical Mexican/Spanish dishes and therefore, in addition to meat dishes, there are also vegetarian and vegan options. My personal recommendation are the quesadillas. Wheelchairs only have the option of using the ground floor area. The toilets are in the basement, where there are additional seats and a terrace above the Nikolaifleet. But otherwise you can get to every table upstairs with a wheelchair.

The three of us had dinner. The waiter told us that the bartender wasn't there and therefore margaritas couldn't be ordered. After a short time, more guests arrived and were able to order margaritas.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit kleiner Karte. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, was man schmeckt. Gewürzt war es topp. Habe drei verschiedene Tacos gegessen und genossen. Leider gibt es nur Bier aus Flaschen. Liegt wohl daran, dass diese Lokalität noch nicht sehr lange besteht. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. AAlles sehr sauber. Vier Sterne nur wegen des Flaschenbieres ;-)

Very modern and cool atmosphere with a lot of young people. Book tables online and the order is also recorded digitally. The menu is not overloaded and contains vegan and spicy dishes. Everything is prepared with attention to detail. The eye eats too. And it tastes good. Unfortunately, beers are only available in bottles.

Strictly speaking, I can't understand the good reviews. The food is really not good. Several people in our group couldn't tolerate the food and had stomach problems. The portions are very small, as is the selection. Nothing was special in any way. The service also left more than to be desired. The staff had to be made aware several times that drinks were still missing. Little was asked either. When I got the bill I was completely stunned. I was asked 5 times (!!!) to tip 10%! The waiter said you HAVE to do it that way. Sorry, no. If everything really fits, you'll of course be happy to do it, but certainly not after such a performance and certainly not after being asked to do so. At first they didn't want to give us the receipt. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

The ambience at Fleet and the rustic furnishings are great and do the store justice. I think that is also reflected in the number of visitors. Without a reservation, I think it will be tight here. The service was very busy, but always friendly and offering tips and recommendations. Only note that food is good, could be a little spicier for my taste. We will come again.
