I went at 9:20 and they no longer wanted to serve me food.

Everything is great. Definitely again on the next visit to Hamburg.

Was surprised with the high rating for this restaurant. The ambiance is really nice but the food is just meh, tacos and burritos aren't that good for a Mexican restaurant. The service isn't good, we had to wait long time for someone to take the order and as we didn't speak German, they tried to scam us by forcing a tip when we wanted to pay by card. Always check the ticket first and put the correct amount yourself. That was our only bad experience in Hambourd however

The nachos and tequila were okay, the tacos took more than getting used to. In addition, some of the chicken was not cooked through. The service and hygiene standards also leave something to be desired (reservation ignored, left waiting at the table for minutes without a card and then the order was taken incorrectly). Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances and cannot understand the good reviews.

That's not authentic. The food is more like Germanized Tex-Mex. It tastes good as long as you don't expect anything Mexican. The location is nice, the staff is friendly but stupid. We didn't get what we ordered half the time.

Very tasty and cozy little restaurant.

Informal Mexican restaurant located by a sf canals in the Hafencity area. Book a table if you want to be sure of getting a seat, especially at 18-19.30 it is full. The food came quite quickly and was good, but lacked the extra that you hope for. But absolutely recommendable. Disappointing selection of Mexican beer, only Sol and Corona at a rather high price. So choose a German beer instead.

Terrible customer service. Experienced a very flabby waiter. He didn't understand that we wanted to get rid of our small coins and was completely annoyed that I counted them. He just said I had notes so I should pay with them. He was mad lol

Food was great and there were also surprising things on the menu. Special drink topped it off. Atmosphere was fine, but it was simply decorated, nothing wrong with that, but not 5 stars. Price was also fine by the way.

The food is delicious and the portions are large. They have quite a few vegetable options, which is appreciated. The atmosphere is good. But the best of all is the staff, especially the girl who served us both days we had dinner there. Kind, charming, attentive, a charm with us, I understand that she will be with everyone. If I spent more time in the city I would go more times just because of the treatment we received.

We were here today as a family (my husband, our son and I), had already made a reservation yesterday and were greeted very friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. The sanitary facilities are very clean and something I've never seen before: there's even a small bowl of tampons in the women's toilet 🫶🏼 The food was very very tasty! Unfortunately I didn't manage to do everything and took the rest with me! I had the Braised Beef in Red Wine Jue and I have to say it was the best I've ever had! My husband had the sweet crispy chipolte chicken and thought it was delicious too.

Von der Vorspeise, über den Hauptgang, bis zum espresso sind wir begeistert. Alleine wegen dem chipotle Hühnchen lohnt sich ein Besuch!Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very friendly and nice service. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The corn soup tasted great and the Sweet Chili Chipotle Chicken was also very tender with a fantastic and pleasantly spicy sauce and a fabulous guacamole. The only thing I didn't like was the coriander - but that's a matter of taste.

Typically Mexican furnishings, appropriate musical background. The food is lovingly prepared and is very tasty. The cocktails are colorful and interesting. Great cheese with the nachos. You can also sit outside. 2 storeys. Downstairs there is more of a bar with high tables.

We came without a reservation and quickly and spontaneously got a table for three - despite high demand. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food left nothing to be desired. It took a while, but was fresh and tasty. We'll definitely be back.

It was my first time having mexican food so I was not sure what to expect but I was blown away! Tacos were delicious, ingredients were fresh. Service was so friendly and there is beautiful view from the window. Also really clean toilets!

The food is super delicious. I had never eaten Mexican before and I've been back four times because I liked it so much. I've probably already tried half the menu and found nothing that was bad! The atmosphere is very nice and you can sit outside even in summer. The service was always very nice too. All the waiters were super friendly and funny. Only recommended!

Be careful when paying by card!!! I wanted to tip €5 - the waiter repeated the entire amount and still charged himself a tip of €16. 👎 The waiters were in a good mood and chatted, as they did all evening. As a result, I wasn't paying attention during the payment process and allowed myself to be distracted. It's a real shame, the food was good and the atmosphere was good too, but if you get ripped off it's really a no go! Since the incorrect total sum was a completely different number and the waiter had also repeated the correct sum - I am convinced that it was not an oversight and that you are being ripped off here... Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until the next day. Don't make the same mistake as me. ✌️

The foods are awesome 👌🏼 and the guy waiter who assisted us was really nice and friendly. Love their Nachos and Trio Tacos. The service is also quite fast regardless it was quite full.

We visited Chango in a group and I can say in advance that it won't be the last visit. The portion size is not particularly large, which is something you should know in advance if you want to eat there. But that's not because Chango wants to take advantage of you here, but because it's authentically Mexican/Spanish: Small portions and a larger selection of dishes, that's how you eat in tapas bars where it's the typical "small" Ración, of which you then order two. The atmosphere is relaxed and despite the restaurant being full at prime time, it's easy to communicate. The tables and chairs are not particularly large, but they are not uncomfortable and are arranged in such a way that you don't feel cramped. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I find that pleasant. The menu contains typical Mexican/Spanish dishes and therefore, in addition to meat dishes, there are also vegetarian and vegan options. My personal recommendation are the quesadillas. Wheelchairs only have the option of using the ground floor area. The toilets are in the basement, where there are additional seats and a terrace above the Nikolaifleet. But otherwise you can get to every table upstairs with a wheelchair.

The three of us had dinner. The waiter told us that the bartender wasn't there and therefore margaritas couldn't be ordered. After a short time, more guests arrived and were able to order margaritas.

We loved it! Sat at the long bar-style table facing the canal, which was an absolute highlight. Drinks and food both incredible. Very attentive and lovely servers. Can’t understand the negative reviews here at all. For a €16 main dish of three tacos FILLED with meat, I was completely full and satisfied. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Chango Team!

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit kleiner Karte. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, was man schmeckt. Gewürzt war es topp. Habe drei verschiedene Tacos gegessen und genossen. Leider gibt es nur Bier aus Flaschen. Liegt wohl daran, dass diese Lokalität noch nicht sehr lange besteht. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. AAlles sehr sauber. Vier Sterne nur wegen des Flaschenbieres ;-)

Tasted like childhood. Definitely recommend the braised beef burrito, just perfect.

Ate vegetarian burrito. Unfortunately nothing special and to be honest we were a bit disappointed. Margarita was delicious 😋.

Nice food, very affordable, cozy atmosphere

Very modern and cool atmosphere with a lot of young people. Book tables online and the order is also recorded digitally. The menu is not overloaded and contains vegan and spicy dishes. Everything is prepared with attention to detail. The eye eats too. And it tastes good. Unfortunately, beers are only available in bottles.

Strictly speaking, I can't understand the good reviews. The food is really not good. Several people in our group couldn't tolerate the food and had stomach problems. The portions are very small, as is the selection. Nothing was special in any way. The service also left more than to be desired. The staff had to be made aware several times that drinks were still missing. Little was asked either. When I got the bill I was completely stunned. I was asked 5 times (!!!) to tip 10%! The waiter said you HAVE to do it that way. Sorry, no. If everything really fits, you'll of course be happy to do it, but certainly not after such a performance and certainly not after being asked to do so. At first they didn't want to give us the receipt. Unfortunately, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

The ambience at Fleet and the rustic furnishings are great and do the store justice. I think that is also reflected in the number of visitors. Without a reservation, I think it will be tight here. The service was very busy, but always friendly and offering tips and recommendations. Only note that food is good, could be a little spicier for my taste. We will come again.

No recommendation. Nice restaurant. Food was ok, but nothing more. A bit overpriced for the portion size. Cocktails were undrinkable. Staff rude because they wanted to deny us our taste. There is 1000 times better food around the corner at Burrico. The ambience is simple, but it is very affordable and the staff is super accommodating.

The food was 1a. It tastes very tasty and very authentic. In addition to the food, it's also worth trying the house-made lemonade. For us as a couple who actually wanted to exchange a few words, the place right next to the loudspeaker was the second best choice. But... The music of course created a good atmosphere and a certain amount of cheerfulness among the guests

Wow. We felt like we were friends as a family. The food and drinks are delicious, as if prepared by friends for a nice evening. Old and young meet in a cozy atmosphere. Fair prices, good cocktails, clean restaurant with clean, well-kept toilets. Child friendly. If we're in Hamburg again, it's my must-come-back place.

Great freshly cooked Mexican food in a lively street cafe. Great choice and reasonably priced. Would recommend. The only negative was they needed more staff and tables to meet the demand.

Super delicious authentic Mexican food! Not a huge menu, but everything was really tasty! Be sure to reserve, some of them are very busy.

Very deliciously prepared food, I had the Taco-Micx, which I can highly recommend if you are curious about several dishes. Although the taco mix looks small, it fills you up well. The meat is well seasoned/marinated and buttery tender.

The environment is nice, People are good, The sauce of the dish was incredibly heavy, we couldn't finish it..

Trotz der guten Bewertungen war der Besuch leider eine Enttäuschung: Personal überfordert, lange Wartezeit, Essen kalt, Getränke falsch gebracht… und zudem viel zu kleine Portionen, so dass wir uns danach im Supermarkt zusätzlich verköstigen mussten. Preis-/Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht!

Nice little restaurant with a great personnel. The food we had was good and we didn't wait long to get it.

Mexican-approved tacos I recommend the carnitas ones! They serve them in 3 authentic corn tortillas with a little cheese between them, and the only thing if you are Mexican ask for them is the topping to preserve the flavor! They bring their sauce and the lemon that cannot be missed. I wasn't a fan of Jamaican water but it's not bad either.

Because of the good reviews, we booked a table here before our musical visit. The service was very nice. The food was, well how should I describe it, very special. I actually love Mexican food. I can't say it tasted good or bad either. In any case, I enjoyed all the coriander all evening. What wasn't nice, however, is that immediately after eating I got stomach cramps that lasted the whole evening. Tacos usually come with guacamole. The small extra bowl cost 5 euros, which is definitely too much. At least it was freshly made and was delicious. The drinks didn't taste good either. Unfortunately I didn't get a straw with my cocktail. To drink it I had to wipe off the edge, I think it was a chilli edge. So we can't recommend the restaurant.

It was super nice, I had a special order and they got it wrong twice, but that's probably because of my order. The service was super nice, they are very friendly but a bit confused from time to time but very friendly. Would definitely go there again. If commas were considered a review they would get a 4.75 😊

Went out to dinner spontaneously. Service was very good, food looked great too. However, afterwards we were a bit “what’s next”. Unfortunately, both of them found it too little.

It was so good!!! I started with a corn soup, something I never have tasted before. It was crispy and creamy at the same time. I continued with sweet crispy chipotle chicken and this was amazing. The glass of the margherita classico was covered with salt and chili - very nice combo. The restaurant is situated just beside the Nicolaifleet and with the sankt Nicoali church in the background.

I sat down to have a beer, which by the way, is served somewhat fresh (which is not common in Hamburg). Very attentive and friendly service and good atmosphere in the place.

I am torn writing this review. The restaurant used to be better. For someone who is not used to eating authentic mexican food (this place is a mix of mexican and texmex) then I understand the good reviews but if you know how it should taste or are a foodie then this place might not be for you... we ordered nachos and tacos. sorry but 13€ for the nachos it is not worth it.I get that everything is more expensive now but the nachos are just not good. the tortilla chips were not fried well and were soggy. the guacamole had more onion and tomato than avocado. its a cheap way to save on the avocado. im prepared to pay but it should be good. tacos were ok. I like that each taco comes with two tortillas but I wasnt impressed. im not sure If I will return. my last visit wasnt memorable

Super delicious food at fair prices. The service was super nice, but it always took a while, but the two girls were alone and the shop was full. The price was also right, card payment possible.

Burrito in the lunch special seemed like a fair deal. But it was just bland fried vegetables with beans in it. Plus a bit of salad and a salsa, which luckily was a little more seasoned. It wasn't authentically Mexican. I hope the full price meals in the evening are better. Rooms are nice, staff very friendly.

Very good Mexican food. Colorful ambience with appropriate music. The friendly service completes the happy and positive atmosphere of the restaurant. There are really spicy as well as mild dishes and vegetarian dishes to choose from. The drinks and cocktails are also recommended.
