Great place, the atmosphere is very cozy. We had the nachos as a starter, which were delicious, I had the burrito for the main course, and churros at the end. Everything tasted very good. The drinks looked amazing and were very tasty.

A fantastic Mexican cantina that impresses with more than just its delicious food. The service staff is very friendly and attentive, and the margaritas are simply amazing!

We had some delicious tacos here. Very colorful and inviting. There's even more space downstairs, and the restrooms are clean. They offer free menstrual products for women, and the men's restroom has deodorant, hairspray, and hand cream.

The food is delicious, the drinks are overpriced. The view of the Elbe canals is beautiful at high tide, but at low tide, it's just mud.

I ordered a buffet from "Chango" for a private party. Unfortunately, I made a big mistake with the order. The manager was super professional and friendly and found a solution to the problem, thus saving my party. Thank you again for that! The service staff was very friendly, and my guests really enjoyed the food, which was absolutely plentiful. Thank you also for the extra churros. The overall performance was truly impressive, and we will gladly return to the restaurant as guests!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. The chipotle was unseasoned and very poorly presented. The burrito wasn't a highlight either; for the price, there are much better options in Hamburg. However, the service and ambiance were very good.

A very nice place between Hafen City and Nikolai Kirche. Great interior design and good food. The homemade lemonade is delicious. You can pay by card. I recommend checking it out!

Great little Mexican restaurant, right on the water, homemade guacamole, delicious tacos, Mexican beer. Everything was spot on.

A very good location and vibe. we ordered drinks that was very good, except the cuba libre, the mixture was way off. As for the food i struggle to understand how people call it authentic. the starter with nachos for two was great all except the the pico de gayo, it was not pico de gayo at all, something else red saucy salsa of unknown type, it tasted OK, quite mild and not much taste, the guacamole was great however and the cheese you get is also very tasty. for main dishes we ordered the tacos mix and the sweet crispy chipotle chicken that was supposed to have rice but instead i got «potato’s?» the tacos where all very blend and had little salsas or taste at all, the chicken had zero spice or taste, i guess the best part was the tortilla, homemade and very tasty. the portions are big with meat at least but it has little to do with Mexican spices and taste. (not even a hint of a mild chili taste) i ordred the dish that was supposed to be the spicy one, the chipotle chicken, i love spice and grow a lot of chilis…. but… Milk has more spice than this chicken, it tasted like korean fried chicken, nothing more. On top of this i got potatos instead of rice without and warning at all, it did not fit the dish and the combination was weird. the guacamole was great again, but most of the food we got had little to do with tasting Mexico sadly. A good thing is the price of the food compared to the amount of food you get, it is cheap. i found the place from a reddit tip. the 3 star service is for giving out food that is not what is on the menu. (potatos and the mystery pico de gayo on the starter)

You can taste that the food is of good quality, raw materials and craftsmanship, with real corn fritters. The appetizer - nachos with cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo, was very good! But I wish there was more flavor in the meat on all three different tacos, it was a bit tame and disappointing as they looked very delicious. But all in all good food, and we were full. An appetizer for two people, two main courses and 4 drinks was 100 euros.

As a Mexican, I can say this is an insult to not only Mexican food but even tex-mex food. Starting by the pre-made guacamole which only tasted like citric acid and conservatives, plus the fact that the waiter didn't even know that the "chips" in which you use to dip it are supposed to be called "totopos" aka tortilla chips, but even sounded like rocket science apparently because I was told they old have "nachos". Then, the quesadilla is only served with chicken inside (never seen or would order that back home), and to keep it simple, I tried to order a children's quesadilla.. needless to say, even that failed: it had raw tomatoes inside, orange slices on top, and a horrible thick flour tortilla. Someone else at the table ordered a burrito (which for those who know Mexican food should know thats in fact, texmex and not Mexican), which was half filled with rice - again, not a mexican thing.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced by Hamburg standards. I haven't had a lemonade that tasted this good in a long time. The ambiance was pleasant, but unfortunately a bit drafty (literally every table), but we've encountered that quite often in Hamburg.

As a Mexican, I definitely approve! Tacos are made of flavorful, genuine corn tortillas (double!) tasty and generous portion of goodness. Guacamole is fresh and balanced. The view is also nice and the service is top notch. Everything was great, especially the carnitas.

Typical Mexican dishes are very well prepared. Even the simplest things taste exceptionally good there. The restrooms are modern and clean. Located right on the water, the staff is friendly.

From the nachos to the churros, all the dishes are very well-balanced. I recommend the 3-piece taco mix. The meat is super tender and excellently seasoned.

Best Mexican food ever!!! Veggie tacos, the cheese nachos, the margaritas... JUST what we were looking for!! We went there 2x in 3 days for our family of four. Friendly, delicous, casual, what more could you want?

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! And the homemade lemonade is also delicious and refreshing. The ambiance could be improved, but since the food should be the main focus, that's beside the point.

Excellent chicken quesadilla, good prices

I absolutely don't recommend this place. You sit on uncomfortable wooden chairs and have to pay exorbitant prices for main courses that are barely the size of a main course. There are much better places. The taste is actually okay, especially if you drench the food with the slightly spicier sauce.

I like to go here for lunch from the office and take advantage of the lunch menu. Plus, it's a lovely atmosphere by the canal and offers a view of St. Nicholas Church.

My first time eating Mexican food. It took a long time for us to be served drinks after we arrived, and the cocktails were only mediocre. Unfortunately, the meat in the tacos wasn't really my thing either...

We ate there with a large group from work, and the feedback about this place was unequivocal: We'll NEVER go back. The reasons are: - The food was okay, but far from being truly good. - The portions (especially the nacho platter) were so "measured," and that for a rather modest price. - The main reason, however, is the drinks. They were very expensive, and the quality was really poor. I've rarely had such a bad frozen margarita. My colleague also had one and didn't even finish it, it tasted so good. The other cocktails weren't particularly good either, according to my colleagues, but the prices were very high. - The "homemade" lemonade looked absolutely unloved, and so was the taste. However, the bill included twice the amount of lemonade... The service, however, was good and friendly; you can't complain. Long story short: In our opinion (opinions are always subjective...), we definitely don't recommend it.

The food tasted good and the service was great. We were there during the day without a reservation and got a table without any problems. The chicken wings could have been spicier, but were still tasty. The vegetarian selection is not large, but the dish we chose tasted good. The homemade lemonade was great! However, we didn't find it particularly comfortable (at least upstairs). It was only when we went to the toilet that we saw that it continued downstairs; it would probably be nicer there for longer stays.

The food was good but the oil they use all around Hamburg wastes the flavors and makes all foods taste the same.

We decided on this little Mexican restaurant to eat some tacos. These were really delicious too. The two of you can sit very nicely at the window and look at the water. There is a deduction for the service, which was not above average and I had stated that I wanted to tip €4 and the waiter simply turned it into €5 - he rewarded himself a bit. In addition, the door was open all evening, which can be a bit quick in March in Hamburg.

The food was okay, but I've had better Mexican food. The service was tried hard, the location has the appearance of a better bistro.

The lunch special offered did not come as an enchilada but rather individually without dough on the plate. So what is that? When asked, the answer was: “oops, I didn’t notice that at all.” And then insist on a tip… Not recommended.

Food: explosive in taste Service: hospitable and personable Ambiance: enchanting with both the extravagant seating and the artistic wall paintings and pictures. Maybe it was my charming companion, but the dining was simply stunning.

The tacos were horrible; I took one bite and felt like vomiting, and so did my friend. The service was terrible—they put us in a corner of the room and forgot about us.

Very good Mexican restaurant, we were there on a Monday around 6 p.m. and got a seat for two straight away, although it got fuller a short time later. The tacos were very good and the two lemonades we tried (Limonada de la Casa and Jamaica) were also delicious and refreshing The waitress was super friendly and authentic, so you could even order in Spanish (but of course you don't have to) We found it remarkable that there were a lot of Spanish-speaking guests there, which for us is a good sign of the authentic cuisine We paid around €45 for two main courses plus drinks and one dessert, which is a really fair price

The restaurant is decorated in a somewhat spatan style, the music was a bit loud. The service was very pleasant and helpful. At first glance the food didn't look like it would fill me up, but afterwards I was really full. The food tasted very tasty. The sauce and the cucumber salad were also very tasty. I would have liked a slightly larger portion of the cucumber salad because it was simply good. A teaspoon would have been good with the sauce to get the sauce out better. I'd love to come back.

Really a shame!!! Expensive food, for small portions and without attention to detail! The store looks really charming from both the outside and the inside. Yesterday, for Valentine's Day, there were also sweet chocolate hearts on the table. The starter, nachos with guacomole and the margheritas were really tasty and beautifully presented. This promised a lot.... But unfortunately we were MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED!!! My husband ordered crispy chicken chipotle for €17, so you would expect a good portion. I ordered the burrito with beef for €16. My goodness, the portions were really small and unfortunately it felt like there was no attention to detail. The burrito consisted of around 70% rice and then a bit of beef. The food was lukewarm, but even worse, my husband just had ice cold chicken chipotle as if it had just come from the fridge. Then we noticed it and the waiter took it away without saying anything about it. So we had to eat one after the other, great for a Valentine's Day meal... There was no apology, nothing. And when he got the food back warm, the waiter asked, a bit boldly, whether it tasted good... Great, he was then allowed to eat alone. When paying, he explicitly asks if we want to give a tip (with the EC device), um no, we didn't want that! So in short I don't understand the good response here, it was a complete disaster and really sad for a Valentine's Day meal... Expensive food, for small portions and without attention to detail! We are DEFINITELY NOT coming back!

Authentic this place isn't. Maybe Mexican styled or inspired food for Germans would be more apt. Flavors are nice, but the only thing that tasted authentic were the tortillas which sadly were overloaded with so much meat that a fork and knive were needed. It was my first time in 40 years on this earth and most of them spent in Texas that I had to do so. Terrible I know. As well, with exception of the chicken the beef and pork were tough. That said, the presentation was nice and looked like they got their inspiration from a recently published cook book. However, I don't understand why any one would think it's a good idea to serve nachos with all the ingredients on the side and virtually unable to be dipped into without breaking the chips. Especially the cheese which had to be cut cause it was so hard. This was my biggest gripe and ultimately the one that disappointed me the most. Please...nachos are served with the ingredients on top of the chips. Not in separate bowls. Otherwise just serve your customers chips and salsa or guacamole. Best thing I had was the margharita which helped alleviate my snooty disgruntlements. If you've read this far and you're in Hamburg AND you want authentic Mexican food.....go to La Casita on the other side of town. It's as good or better than some taquerias I've visited in Mexico and Texas. Best wishes!

The tacos and margarita were very good

The location is nice. The burito was delicious! However: €16 is too much. For €12 I would have said great, for €16 the burito was too small or too expensive. The same goes for the lemon lemonade. The service is OK but not good. We waited a long time for our starter in an almost empty restaurant. Simple nachos. It's best to just have the main course, but as I said, the price doesn't match the food.
