La Piazzetta in Hamburg

Honest Italian cuisine! Apart from Italy, this is the only place where you can still find carbonara made properly with eggs... And the pizza is so thin it's a dream! Tip: The pizza for lunch is as cheap as in Italy and just as delicious!

We have visited here a few times. Luckily we were able to get a table on Valentine's Day on Friday without a reservation. We wanted to share a pizza and the food - with the pizza neatly divided into two plates - was brought out very quickly. Food was super tasty, staff was super nice. Everything is great!

This family-owned restaurant is truly a benefit to our entire neighborhood. The food is always freshly cooked, super tasty and the guests' wishes are always taken into account (if possible and, above all, proportionately). Therefore a real enrichment in our district, which is not exactly overloaded with gastronomy! Anyone who wants good and honest Italian food at fair prices in a family atmosphere will visit this restaurant again and again!! Wir waren früher öfter in diesem Lokal (vor dem Inhaberwechsel 2019). Immer zufrieden. Gestern Pizza Napoli (mit Anchovis, Oliven und Kapern lt. Karte). Ich bekam eine Pizza Margherita mit ca. 8 Oliven, 3 winzigen Stückchen, die eventuell Anchovis entstammten und einige wenigen Kapern. Dies als "Pizza Napoli" zu bezeichnen, entspringt wohl offensichtlich übersteigertem Gewinnstreben. Diese Pizzeria war mal richtig gut. Wiederholung unwahrscheinlich.

OMG, DON'T EAT HERE!!! I arrived & asked for my reserved party that stated they were in the garden.... Waiter very rudely said ( in German) I don't know & walked away. Didn't point me towards the garden, just walked away. I found my party, greeted everyone & sat dowm. No Joke, the waitress...who is appreatantly is the Owner, showed zp 30mins later to take our FOOD order. I ordered a Apero spritz & had to chase her down again to enquire about it. Mind you, she walked by our table SEVERAL times, I & others said "Excuse me" and she keep walking, ignoring us...as we became louder & louder when she didn't respond. She NEVER looked us in the eye nor made contact as she walked by for the nxt 10-15mins. FINALLY, my friend on the end of the table cornered her as she walked by again, ignoring us once more. None of the staff make eye contact with you nor do the say Thank you or Sorry! The Lachs cappriccia was tasteless which means its " Cheap" Lachs. The Shrimp cappillini was also tasteless with FULL clovers of garlic. I don't know ANY chef that puts an entire clove of garlic in anything to season it without cutting the clove. I had to ADD salt to pasta. In an Italian restaurant!!! It was cooked in water(H2o) no salt, no oil. The BEST part of ALL!! The place was relatively EMPTY. NO one seating inside ans only a few tables in the garten. There are SO many GREAT ITALIAN restaurants in Hamburg. Don't be DISAPPOINTED by going to this place. You've been WARNED.

Good eatery with an interesting menu. It was easy to chat while enjoying the tasty food (sea bream fillet) that was served quickly.

Nice Italian for weeknights. The meals were very tasty. Maybe not exceptional, but not at all necessary. You can't see from the main street that there is a good winter garden at the back. Actually a little gem, you could do a lot more with it. But even so, the restaurant is really fun.

After a long time we visited this restaurant again and got a table in the very nice beer garden. As expected, the food was delicious, but unfortunately we didn't feel particularly welcome, especially due to the boss's mood. Warmth is different. The waiters tried hard, but there is more to a nice visit to a restaurant than the ambience and the obvious quality of the food. You want to be welcome.

Since there's a new owner here, you can finally go and eat here again. Food is good, ambience needs a bit of renovation and service is also friendly.

I didn't have my debit card with me and I could pay later. Unfortunately, due to the construction work in the garden, it's no longer so comfortable! Great food, you can't say anything against it!

A nice Italian at the Wartenau subway stop. We always enjoy eating at La Piazzetta. Children are also very welcome. The grilled sea bream is a must and the homemade lemon sorbet is to die for. The pizza also tastes like in Italy. I can only recommend it and the owner is super attentive and friendly, as are all the staff at La Piazzetta. We'll be back :)!!

I was here two times and both times I had a good time. Last time I had the pizza with Gorgonzola and pear, and I am pretty sure I had the same the penultimate time. The pizzas are big and filling and the salads are also big. The penultimate time I also had the strawberry dessert with mascarpone and it was very tasty. Last time I wanted to have some dessert but in the end it turned out that a salad and a pizza was simply too much for me. Great place and I would definitely be returning if I am in the area!

The entrance fee is 40 TL. The middle class cannot go there. We go there once a year for our wedding anniversary. The best thing is to eat pita.

The service is sometimes a bit slow but very friendly. You can sit in the backyard very nicely in the summer. When it comes to food, I've had very good to mediocre dishes, but it was never bad. More of a matter of taste

We spontaneously went to this pizzeria during a short stay in Hamburg. Here we were served some decent food on the table with red and white checkered tablecloths. We had pizza and salad and were able to sit outside in a small garden when the weather was nice. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Lunch just perfect. Great pizza, great Chianti, coffee with a hot milk pot.

Unfortunately not real carbonara, but ham cream sauce

Großartiger authentischer Italiener! Geschmacklich war das Essen super - vor allem bei der Pizza merkt man, das diese handgemacht ist und im Holzofen gebacken wurde. Der Service war freundlich. Ich kann das La Piazetta auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Zum Außenbereich kann ich nichts sagen, aber der Gastraum war authentisch eingerichtet.

Everything needs to be improved in this store. And the staff is not nice and willing to talk to customers. Regardless of whether they are Romanian or not Unfortunately I'm not satisfied

Wow! I am extremely impressed with your nice shop. Although it was packed on a Friday evening, the family table was promptly cleared for us and we were able to order in peace. We ordered various pizzas and pasta dishes including starters and desserts and couldn't miss a single thing about any dish. Everything was very tasty and arrived at the table quickly, even though there was so much going on. Great performance, nice people and great food. 10/10

Everything is just perfect! Fast service despite a full restaurant, wine service at the table, super tasty pizza and attentive staff. In the summer it's really nice to sit outside in the garden. Typically Italian ambience with the classic Italian red and white tablecloths. For me this is always an indication that it is a real Italian. I've never been disappointed here and would love to come back.

A relatively small but very nice restaurant, right on Wandsbeker Chaussee, near Conventstraße, or Eilbeker Weg. The menu offers something for everyone and at least the salami pizza is delicious. One of the waiters doesn't speak German but he speaks good English.

Immer wieder gerne. Das essen ist super lecker ,alle extra wünsche werden super umgesetzt. Es herscht eine ruhige und familiare atmosphäre . Die inhaberrin ist sehr aufmerksamm und serviert selbst auch. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich . Ich kann das la piazzetta nur empfehlen und wer lust hat auf eine richtige italienische Pizza ist im la piazzetta genau richtig.😀😀

Sehr nettes kleines Restaurant mit Aussenbereich. Freundliche Bedienung u.a. auch durch die Chefin Maria selbst. Wir waren zu Zweit und hatten Essen von der preislich günstigen Mittagskarte, die sehr lecker geschmeckt haben. Wir können das LA PIAZZETTA auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen !

...und ich dachte, ich hätte schon alles gesehen. Ich war mit Freunden da hatte mir eine Frutti di mare Pizza bestellt. Was sofort ins Auge stach waren die roten, klein geschnittenen SURIMI Rollen. Die anderen Meeresfrüchte musste ich suchen. 3 kleine Garnelen und eine kleine Tintenfischtube in Streifen geschnitten. Kein Muschelfleisch oder sonstiges. Die Pizza war komplett geschmacksneutral, selbst die Tomatensauce. Service, nur das nötigste. Keine Frage nach einem zweiten Getränk, Dessert oder Kaffee. Die anderen Gerichte waren auch nicht so toll.

Wirklich netter Italiener mit anständigen Essen und moderaten Preisen. Dazu eine freundliche Familien orientierte Atmosphäre. Ich bin regelmäßig dort und wer in der Gegend unterwegs ist, die ja nun nicht gerade der Hammer ist, sollte trotzdem nach dem Restaurant Ausschau halten.

Ein offensichtlich etwas in die Tage gekommenes Lokal, ziemlich muffelige Bedienung, ausgesprochen fade Pizza, sehr enge Bestuhlung - das "Piazetta" war mal deutlich besser!

Überraschend großer Hinterhof ( Biergarten) mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Schatten. Wir haben den Mittagstisch gewählt: Tagliatelle mit Lachs, Thunfisch mit Röstkartoffeln. Frisch und lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

Im Restaurant wurde viel renovieret und ist kein Vergleich mehr mit dem Chaos von früher! Ansprechende Innenausstattung. Es war gemütlich. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren 7 Leute, davon waren 4 unzufrieden mit ihrem Essen Pizza zu fettig, Thunfisch zu salzig zu wenig Gemüse auf der vegetarischen Pizza Tomatensuppe leicht wässrig.

Ich war begeistert! Als Mittagstisch alle Pizzen und Nudelgerichte für € 7,50! Ich dachte, das wird wohl eine kleine werden - nein, ich bekam eine wohlschmeckende und riesige Pizza Frutti di Mare! Wie in Italien! Außerdem auch noch freundliche Bedienung. Da werde ich noch einige male essen.

Nach dem Besitzerwechsel viel besser geworden( eine sehr nette Familie) und vor allem viel sauberer. Innen und Außen inzwischen viel renoviert. Gemütlich. Toller Gartenbereich mit vielen schönen Tischen. Qualität der Speisen und Getränke ist großartig bei moderaten Preisen.
