I received very nice and friendly service, and everything tasted great :) I would come again. Beautiful view of the lake.

Pure vacation feeling. At La Perla am See in Friedrichshafen, I enjoyed my grilled fish with a stunning view – pure vacation feeling! The location directly on Lake Constance is simply fantastic; you sit beautifully by the water and can truly savor the moment. The food was delicious, and the server was extremely friendly and attentive. The espresso tasted good, even if the cup was a bit more unusual than usual – something different. Of course, there are a few wasps outside, which is completely normal. Perhaps some coffee grounds could help – that drives the little guests away quite well. Otherwise, everything was really great: great ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food. I'd love to come back!

The salad was fresh and crisp, the bruschetta and pasta were okay, but nothing special. The Aperol, however, wasn't an authentic Aperol—that's worth pointing out!

Good location right on the promenade. The waiter took a long time to even take our order, but the food came very quickly. Unfortunately, the quality was more like a cafeteria meal. The schnitzel seemed to be ready-made, and the mashed potatoes were guaranteed! The price, however, is in line with fine dining.

Everything went well here today. Antipathies were great. The wasps were peaceful.

Unfortunately, on weekends, when the weather is nice, it's more of a mass-processing place than a cozy restaurant. The food was okay, 2/5. After dark, unfortunately, there's only the unloving cold white neon lights. The ambiance could be better...

Very friendly service with honest recommendations, very tasty food: very tasty grill plate, fresh fish from Lake Constance, mussels with white wine sauce (better than in Italy), vitello tonato simply GREAT.

After two beers, we ordered an Aperol Spritz and a mochito. Both were essentially undrinkable and had nothing in common with these cocktails. The Aperol Spritz came from the tap and tasted like mineral water with a hint of Aperol. The mochito tasted like mineral water with a hint of mint and had a gritty residue at the bottom.

The waiter seemed pushy and we were charged for more than we ordered (we ordered 2 small Cokes and we were charged for 2 large Cokes, a rip-off of €4) and as shamelessly as we were ripped off, we were also asked for a tip, which has never happened to me in my life.

Asked at the counter for oat milk for the cappuccino: "No problem." The waiter then said they didn't have any oat milk.

Arrogant, rude, and deceitful! Ordered small drinks, paid for large ones. The waiter was extremely disrespectful, demanded tips twice, and then aggressively slammed the glasses down. Never again!

The food was quite decent for an Italian in Germany. The pasta dishes, although we ordered the same, tasted very different in some places. There was nothing wrong with the pizza, so it was okay. The espresso was very good, but the pana cotta lacked flavor, except for the sauce. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The ambiance outside was quite pleasant, with a wide view over the lake.

Absolutely NOT recommended! Fish poisoning! After an unfriendly, irritated waiter who described himself only as "I just bring the food back and forth, so who knows what the quality is like," the worst fish of my life arrived. Not only was it poorly prepared, but it was also old and spoiled. I was sick all night. The authorities have been informed accordingly. The only thing beautiful is the view of the lake!

The mussels in white wine sauce were delicious. 👍 A must-try. The portion was generous. With a beautiful view of the Bodensee. It was truly an amazing experience.

We didn't like the service at all. We asked to change seats because they were smoking next to us. First, the waiter told us no, then he asked us yes because we weren't going to eat like that. When we moved, the waiters started fighting, and in the end, no one served us. They only served us drinks.

The meal wasn't well-filled. The advertised seasonal vegetables were just eggplant, zucchini, and two strips of yellow bell pepper. The spaghetti marinara only had mussels; someone had provocatively skimped on the toppings. Presentation was awful.

We visited the restaurant yesterday and would like to share my feedback on my experience. I had originally opted for the chef's salad, which was offered with turkey. Since I'm a vegetarian, I asked for a meat-free version. I was offered burrata instead—which I very much appreciated, and I ordered it that way. What I was served, however, was extremely disappointing for the price of €17.90: The salad was overall unappealing. I couldn't say for sure whether it was actually burrata—it seemed more like regular mozzarella. To my surprise, I was charged an additional €5 to replace the turkey with burrata. In my opinion, a vegetarian variation of a dish shouldn't come with such a surcharge, especially when the substitute is likely to be lower in value. Almost €25 for a lackluster salad is truly outrageous. The pizza my husband ordered was also rather subpar. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the service staff didn't take me seriously, but instead treated me with an unfriendly and condescending attitude—which, for me, further negatively impacted the overall impression. I hope you take my feedback seriously. In my opinion, respectful treatment of guests and transparent, fair pricing are essential for a positive restaurant experience. 2 stars only for the terrace by the lake

La Perla - No thanks. In this top-class restaurant, unfriendly and unmotivated staff combine with wait times of over 50 minutes (despite the restaurant being empty) to create an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Add to that the mediocrity of the food (rotten salad, overcooked fish, and tasteless pasta variations) and the still-high prices, and you get a simple conclusion: No thanks.

No, the pizza was nothing special, some of it was cold, and I ordered two shandys, no idea what they were mixed with, tasted terrible!!!! Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

In my opinion, 'La Perla am See' is not recommended. The food lacked flavor and character. The carbonara wasn't al dente, and the Gorgonzola gnocchi had a layer of fat floating on it. The service was okay, but they brought me a mineral water, despite my request for still water. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it!

Wonderful lakeside location! The menu is not too big, the prices are slightly higher depending on the location. But it came very quickly and the pizzas were delicious. The waiter was super motivated and sang while serving 🙃 So let's go and try it out!

Had mussels with white wine (according to the menu) The mussels didn't taste anything like white wine. There was a lot of oil on the sauce and it tasted more like vegetable broth than anything else. Second dish was the Pizza La Perla, Feels like just dough with cheap ingredients in the middle. Dough wasn't crispy and for the price I can get cheaper and better pizza in Switzerland.

The food was fresh, tasty and of high quality. We were particularly impressed by the pizza – definitely one of the best! We would love to come back and can only recommend it.

I order rumsteak medium and came well and burned from the bottom. I asked for new one and it was almost alive it was totally rare full of blood.. Maybe steak is not they're expertise..but I pay for something I didnt even eat.

Went here spontaneously for dinner today... We were only able to place our order after half an hour... In our opinion, the waiter didn't really feel like serving us... I wanted extra garlic on my pizza and the waiter just said "we can do it"... But it wasn't done 😕.... The pizza was far too doughy, so that after two bites the inside of the piece was gone and the rest was crust (dough)... The spaghetti was carbona so-so... Have eaten better... Since the view of Lake Constance was great, I get the third star... Otherwise only worth 2 stars...

The waiter deceived us, although the menu said a cappicino cost 3.20 and an espresso 2.80, the man charged us 8.90.

Unfortunately, I can't actually give a rating for the food because we didn't actually get to eat. We waited, waited, waited... and eventually left. The resto was full, so we initially understood. However, when half of the tables were no longer occupied and we were still being ignored, we got up and went to Bella Vista. Here too, all tables were fully occupied. But after just a minute an employee was there and promised us that she would take care of us straight away. Ultimately it was a really good decision because the food and service at Bella Vista were exceptionally good. So we're going straight to Bella Vista tomorrow...

Best pizza in Friedrichshafen and super friendly staff 👍🏻

After we weren't served in the restaurant next door after 25 minutes of waiting, we spontaneously went to La Perla in the outdoor area by the lake. Service top! The drinks arrived within a very short time. Pizza also delivered very quickly to the table. I shared the pizza with my daughter. Got 2x cutlery and 2 plates. 1 star deduction for the food... yes it was a margerita, I've eaten much worse, but a little green on top would have suited the lady. One star for the ambience deduction because the toilets (men's) are really narrow... For people like me who don't like these blower dryers, paper would be nice...

We were at la Perla on August 11, 24, and what happened to us again... was incredible! There were 4 of us and the food came quickly… In the middle of the meal the waiter asked if we would like to pay. We said no, we'll still eat. The boss shouted in Italian that we should pay and leave. So that he can re-set the table and collect money! The waiter became really cheeky, clearly he had been under pressure from his boss! ! This shop was a disgrace. We realized that we should leave and had our food packed up and left. NEVER AGAIN!!! Mafia structures!!!! The pizza made us sick that night! The whole thing for 74 euros / the store is disgusting!!! I've finished !!!!!

Italians right on the water. Had gratinated tortellini straight from the oven and risotto. Little pasta with lots of sauce and cheese.

The location is of course great, right on the lake promenade. The crowd is correspondingly large. We waited a bit until we were allowed to sit down, the two waiters were very busy. Menus didn't come at first, so we helped ourselves at neighboring tables. After ordering, drinks and food came fairly quickly. There were a few minutes between serving the first dish and the other two - not ideal, but not dramatic. Pizza was good, salad with rather dry turkey breast and tagliatelle didn't quite convince us. The prices are a bit excessive, but there are better alternatives in the immediate vicinity at the same price level.

Unfortunately, we were dazzled by the beautiful view and the ambience. The service was unfriendly, impersonal and irritable. After about 30 minutes our orders came: rump steak and salmon with grilled vegetables. The grilled vegetables arrived almost cold and the preparation of the eggplant left a lot to be desired: it chewed like the sole of a shoe. When we asked again for the menu for a drink, it only came after we asked several times - of course again with an annoyed tone from the waiter. But the highlight of the whole thing were the toilets. It was worse than the dingiest rest stop. The entire floor and the toilet seat were full of urine. Toilet paper and soap were searched in vain. If I had seen the toilets outside, I wouldn't have even ordered a drink there. After we finally received the cards a second time, we waited in vain for a waiter for an hour. He even came to our table but didn't even ask if we wanted a drink. This was fine with us afterwards: we were able to enjoy the beautiful view for free because we lost our appetite when we went to the toilets. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the bill: the price seemed way too high. When asked how this came about, he was irritated. We were right: Instead of the required €78.00, our correct invoice was only €62.00. A sentence with an X, that was probably nothing. Next time we'll look around at the other locations on the promenade. I would highly recommend this to you too.

I have to rate this restaurant Bad because it has unfriendly staff. We ordered cola and they were all non-carbonated, so we said so so that we could get new cola with carbon dioxide! The staff rudely said it was normal and left!

We ate here with 4 people in August '24. While the location is generally good, I give it 4 stars for the ambience, as we sat right on the promenade and therefore in the passage of waiters and passers-by. The food was below average: the Quatro Staggioni pizza had a relatively wide crust and was very thinly topped (3 artichoke quarters, 4-5 thin small mushroom slices, 2 small piles of ham, but lots of pepperoni that weren't spicy), the lasagna seemed dried out at the edge, spaghetti Bolognese had some water in the bottom of the plate, as did the La Perla salad. Only the Tagliatelle La Perla were ok. The service was terrible: no thanks, please or 'I'll be with you immediately' were heard. The sad ending was the toilet with the toilet seat broken off and therefore loose - just don't move it - and the overall dirty impression of the toilets.

Right on the promenade, the location is very central and you can see a lot. Of course very crowded during the holiday season. We had to wait a long time until we were served, until the food came and we were then allowed to pay. Of course we expected that during the season, but eye contact or a smile wouldn't have hurt. The pizza was okay but the Tagliatelle la Perla was unfortunately very sober. We were not given oils, salt and pepper. We even had to ask for a drink coaster because the condensation dripped heavily. Relatively speaking, it's probably still a reasonable price/performance ratio there, but next time I would try a different restaurant.

Men's toilet: Hand dryer 1 not working Hand dryer 2 not working Cloth dispenser: empty ………then you have to help yourself with toilet paper. Eesen came before the drinks since we work in the catering industry ourselves, so that's a no go. There is nothing more to say about the quality of the food. There was a dead fly in the salad. Very friendly despite the stress. Food came very quickly after ordering. There was a wrong pizza, but it only took a short time to get the right pizza. Delicious. Two small flaws: knives are too blunt to cut the pizza, steak knives would be more suitable and the edge is much too wide and thick.

We really enjoyed the salami pizza and the tuna salad. The prices are reasonable. The service is attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back.
