La Osteria Landshut in Landshut

Well, I've been here many times and was always satisfied, but the last two times were really not good. Last time, the pizza was topped with 6g of arugula and 4 slices of Parma ham. 30 minutes later, the table next to us ordered the same thing, and the pizza was 4 times as thick as ours... oh well. But today it was really bad. We sat down, were looked at by a waiter, and then he left. Then after 5 minutes, he checked all the tables next to us and took the money, but again, not a word to us. Then he left again. After another 10 minutes, he came back out, checked another table, looked at us, and left again. We actually left too, and won't be coming back anytime soon. It's a real shame!

We've been here three times, and twice we were well served and the service/price ratio was good. We weren't satisfied the first time; the service was not good at all, and the food was also not good in terms of price/quality. A pizza, a rissoto, and a pennete with tomato, some arugula and Parmasano, 2 pulses, and a water with elderflower cost over €62. My dessert, no appetizers, nothing. Last time, we had 2 pizzas and 2 mushrooms, plus a dessert with coffee, for around €40.

The pizzas are huge, the restaurant has a very atmospheric atmosphere, and it's delicious!

I don't recommend seafood pizza; it tastes like tomato and hangs loosely at the bottom. Also, the entire pizza had maybe 4-5 pieces of seafood on each slice, which is far too little in my opinion. I ate a slice, thinking it might be better, but unfortunately, nothing. Charging €12.80 for something like that is outrageous.

First, the name: the pizzeria is called LA (large) Osteria. LA like Landshut... 😉 The restaurant is lovely and Italian in style, but without any significant partitioning inside, which makes it quite loud and difficult to have a conversation. The food was very good and arrived in record time after ordering. It felt like we had just put down the menu. The service was friendly and very attentive. The table was cleared quickly, and we were able to reorder. Paying by credit card was easy. We'll definitely be back.

Friendly and fast, delicious pizzas, starters, 1 pizza is enough for 2

We've eaten here several times, and the food is always incredibly delicious. The pizzas come fresh from the oven, but you don't have to wait long (even when it's busy). They have a very large selection and also have some "special" items on the menu. I'd also like to point out that they always offer two bruschettas. I'm not used to that, but I think it's great. The backyard is beautifully designed as a terrace with a fountain. This creates a wonderful ambiance. And the service couldn't be better. All in all, highly recommended. However, it's advisable to make a reservation because it gets very busy.

Lieferando order: When we order food, we 99% of the time order it here. It tastes super delicious and fresh. Especially the salmon pasta and the pizzas. Thanks for that! However, Lieferando deliveries always take a very long time, sometimes over 1.5 hours. I don't know to what extent the restaurant owners can influence this, but I find this wait time far too long. Therefore, 1 point deducted. Luckily, at least the food is still warm. Otherwise, very tasty and highly recommended.

It's become part of our ritual – first, we head to Löwenzahn with the kids, and immediately afterward, we enjoy a well-deserved treat in the form of a visit to La Osteria 🥰 We always enjoy the food (pizza and a really delicious salad)! We also loved the homemade lemonade. We waited less than 10 minutes for the food 😱 There's only one word to describe it: PERFECT!

I ordered pasta and specified that it should not contain mushrooms or ham. The wrong order arrived, which isn't a big deal. I called and was told they would deliver the right thing straight away. I waited. The second order arrived and there were mushrooms and ham again. To be honest, I don't understand why... that was the last time I ordered from there.

The pizza was almost burnt. When I told the waitress, they simply replied, "It's fine as it is." I complained again, and the pizza was taken away. 20 minutes later, I received half a new pizza.

The biggest pizza I've ever seen. 45cm for €13, simply fantastic. Plus, a lovely atmosphere in the courtyard. Great, we'll definitely be back :-)

Huge pizza, quick, friendly staff and more than reasonable prices!

Such warm and friendly staff, every dish tastes simply wonderful. Half of the huge pizzas can be topped with other ingredients, for example, ½ a Quattro Formaggi pizza and ½ a Funghi pizza.

If you arrive at 10:15 PM, you'll be asked to leave immediately at 11 PM. Then don't accept any customers after 10 PM. The food was delicious!

During our visit to the restaurant, we were served by an elderly waitress who clearly expressed her dissatisfaction with our order—one drink and one meal for two people—and tried to force two meals and drinks on us. Despite our repeated corrections, she ultimately added two drinks to the bill, even though we only received one. We only realized this after our visit and had paid for it. I wasn't even given a look at the bill.

Simply brilliant, super friendly service, top-notch food.

The biggest and by far the best pizza in town. Here you feel “Italy”. The tablecloth was a little dirty but the service was perfect! Not so bad, it can happen! Top location... top ambience... top staff... friendly, despite stress

To the nice staff at LaOsteria: We took a trip to the pizzeria. We agreed in advance that the children from the children's home on Daimlerstrasse were allowed to make their own pizza. There was a super, nice pizza maker and every child kneaded their pizza dough behind the counter. The children will remember this for a long time. The children from Daimlerstrasse in Landshut say thank you. We'll definitely come by again.

Great pizza place! Very friendly staff, we ate outside and were really impressed. The pizzas are huge – they rise way over the edge of the plate. The drinks were also served with a lot of love. Hats off, absolute recommendation!

Caution has nothing to do with “L’Osteria”! Pay attention to the “LA”. The quality, toppings and taste have nothing in common with LOsteria. The pizzas are very modestly topped. The size is OK, but I still recommend LOsteria the original.

Absolutely recommended!! Really good authentic Italian. Our food was sensationally good, and so was the service. I haven't eaten this delicious food in a long time. Any time.

Ordered 2 pizzas on Sunday afternoon! One pizza is good, one is not good! Because if you order parma and it has shoulder ham on it, nope, you could just about get over it. Rocket hadn't been washed and then I also found a rubber ring from the lettuce on it. The waiter just said, it can happen! Not like that!

Since we were there for the second time this week despite having to travel over 20 km, I have to confirm that we have found our new favorite Italian restaurant. Keep it up! It was great with you again today! Mille grazie!

Only good experiences so far! Be it pizzas, which are not only incredibly large but also have unique variations. Noodles also taste great. Service is also quick and courteous. Chili and garlic oil is offered on pizzas if you want, as well as extra Parmesan (freshly shaved in front of you) on pasta.

Highly recommended pizzas and service great

Anyone who goes to La Osteria is usually looking forward to the famous, huge pizzas that you can get for very little money. This joy is justified because the pizzas are really big and fill pretty much everyone. The waiting time is also very satisfactory. However, if it's about experiencing something (eating out should always be an experience), I would recommend choosing one of the meat dishes, which can also be found in the more expensive but definitely inexpensive segment. The pizzas taste very good, but I have the feeling that they want to lower the price by saving on the toppings and that's a shame. However, that is the only point of criticism. The staff is friendly, courteous and very attentive, which is why a visit is never unpleasant.

A great pizza in itself, but the way the customers were treated is abysmal. I had pre-ordered a pizza for 8:10 p.m. and arrived at the store at 8:10 p.m. sharp to pick it up, so I parked briefly in a private parking space so as not to hold up traffic in the otherwise hopeless parking situation there. I thought I would go in quickly, pay, and then leave. Of course, the pizza took a little longer, which is not a problem and is normal. After 5 minutes, I was asked if the car parked outside was my car. At that moment, another car (which the service staff pointed at) was parked right in front of the store door, and it wasn't mine, so I naturally denied the question. After I paid, I went out and was insulted in Italian by one of the store's delivery people for about 5 minutes. The service staff then came out and insulted me too. Is that really how you treat a customer after a misunderstanding? The best part is that I immediately apologized as I was leaving, because I didn't know they were talking to me. I called the store again after the incident and was insulted again on the phone, even after I apologized again. I don't understand why a customer who leaves a tip would be insulted like that, and I think that has no place in a good restaurant. Even the good pizza can't make up for it. Great pizza, terrible service.

Very good value for money, good quality food, and very large pizzas. There's also a good selection for vegetarians. It was just a bit noisy, as it was quite busy during my visit. However, since we had a table near the edge, it wasn't too bad. The Italian service was very friendly and attentive.

Was there with my girlfriend. Ordered a pasta dish from the lunch menu and got a whole menu (bruschetta soup, main course, dessert and espresso) for €10.90. It tasted very good. Service was very accommodating. Gladly again when we are in Landshut.

Ordered pizza via Liecerando and still no delivery after more than two hours. Nobody can be reached by phone. That was the last time.

Waren zum Mittagessen um 11.30 Uhr da, Tagessuppe bekamen wir um 12.20 Uhr. Obwohl nur 5 Tische besetzt waren. Nie wieder.

Previously 5 stars and in my top 5 pizzerias. It was even better than many pizzerias in Italy itself. Today a maximum of 2 stars. Priced like Hulle and 60% of the surface was taken away. If the tomato sauce shines out from under the sparse cheese and is joined by a few isolated pieces of scallion, you have applied the red pencil a little too hard. It was a very dry affair. Just throw your own Effeuno on again...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I received a fish dish delivered even though I don't eat fish. On the phone I was emphatically told that this was impossible because apparently no fish was cooked. However, it later turned out that it was actually fish - no insight whatsoever and extremely rude, insulting communication. Absolutely unacceptable and not at all recommended!

Everything was great except the service!!! Unfortunately the waiter was completely clueless. Our drinks (full) were simply cleared away just because we were in the toilet. But they let us know. Unfortunately, totally disappointing. Well, it doesn't have to be that way. There is better. !!!!!

Normally I only write positive reviews, but this time we were really disappointed. We wanted to order a salad and a large shared pizza with our two small children - half Margherita and half Parma. From experience... completely sufficient. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding: Instead of one large pizza, we received two separate pizzas, both of which we then had to pay for. This probably happened because the waitress was rather distracted and didn't listen carefully to our request. Since one of the pizzas was completely left over, we asked to have it packed. However, when we got home we discovered that half of the pizza was missing without any mention of this on site. In addition, the quality of the food was not convincing this time. The pizzas were unusually soft and limp, and the salad had very little dressing. We're sorry, but after this experience we won't be visiting the pizzeria again for the time being.

So the last few times I was there everything was okay but now that I was there it was disappointing because the pizza was very greasy and you couldn't really eat anything from it. Drinking was only brought in a small glass instead of a large one and I've only had the food hanging over the toilet for the last 12 nights, so I'm not going there anymore, that was a lesson to me

Wir haben Essen für vier Leute bestellt. Als Lieferzeit waren 35 - 60 Minuten genannt. Bestellung war um 17:30 Uhr. Nachdem auch um 18:45 Uhr niemand da war, wurde auf Lieferando angezeigt, dass die Bestellung um 18:58 Uhr eintrifft. Um 19:00 Uhr haben wir im Lokal angerufen, weil immer noch niemand gekommen ist. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das eben die Lieferzeit am Wochenende wäre und die Lieferung eben unterwegs ist. Die Angaben auf der Website sind offenbar nur Wunschgedanken. Auch um 19:30 Uhr war immer noch niemand da. Lieferung kam um 19:34 Uhr. Ungute Kommunikation und extrem zu lange Wartezeit. Keine Bestellung mehr unsererseits.

We had different dishes (pizza, pasta and risotto) and everything was very tasty. The seafood was really good, the pizza was just how I like it best. The waitresses were all very friendly. What we think is particularly great is that there is really an “Italian atmosphere” thanks to the Italian staff. It was like a short vacation for the soul. Very happy again!

Unfortunately, after waiting for over an hour, two wrong pizzas were delivered. When complaining over the phone, you were just passed on from employee to employee, who whispered to each other in the background and shouted hello into the phone one after the other. The third man on the phone said he would make us new ones, but he wanted the two wrong ones back!! When I asked if we could be accommodated for the inconvenience, I was told no. Maybe a voucher. After another hour of waiting, we didn't get it either! Really totally unprofessional and embarrassing! Never again !!

Very loud, you couldn't have a conversation without speaking very loudly. I had to send a cocktail back because it was terrible. Oh, and Warren, it's probably 30 degrees in the restaurant. I'll never go there again! The only positive thing was the cuisine, very tasty!

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The older staff left an unsympathetic and unfriendly impression, which immediately made you feel uncomfortable. We always come on a Sunday at least once a month with 10 people. I called and made a reservation 5 days ago. When we arrived they didn't know anything about a reservation and had to stand outside in front of everyone and wait because there was no space... Afterwards, a table was taken from a storage room and then it was discussed in front of us that we hadn't reserved at all. Great management at that point. Relatively disappointing, as it was always a problem to be treated like that. For context, we are all restaurateurs ourselves. Means we know what we're talking about.

I'm a big fan of the store. I've been eating there regularly for two years I can only say something about the pizzas and I've already tried almost half of them and they're all great. Staff is friendly and polite. Some say it's expensive but if you consider the portion size, the price is fair. So great shop, I will continue to eat there regularly

The Italian feeling was conveyed right from the start, the waiters were the epitome of friendly and nice, and the pizza was a taste explosion.

I used to be a regular customer at LA Osteria. Today I ordered a tuna pizza and a Funghi pizza. The tuna pizza had hardly any onion on it, in fact almost none at all, just like the Funghi pizza (paid €2 extra for onion). The LA Osteria used to be better. I have to honestly say that the Indian restaurants and others in Landshut now make better pizzas. Was very disappointed. Because in the summer when we eat out there it tastes completely different. And the pizza wasn't round it was almost square. And this is not a FAKE review!

Great big pizza. All very tasty. Steaming and smoking cocktails. A feast for the eyes and a great experience. Prices are good. The courtyard is actually very nice, but new tables are constantly being brought outside from the restaurant and some employees are very loud and unnecessarily fill the courtyard with sound, which spoils the atmosphere a bit.

The waitresses are very slow and rarely stop by. Food is ok but unfortunately not what it once was. The berries on the ice cream we ordered were moldy. Pizza was ok so far, but as I said, it was better.

We sat in an almost empty restaurant (inside) and changed tables because the one assigned to us was too small. The new table had not been wiped clean and there was dried sauce on it. The table was only cleaned when we pointed it out. The waiter barely noticed us and was inattentive. A drink we ordered wasn't served, we ordered it later, but it was then listed twice on the bill. There were two strange order receipts stuck under my pizza. When I informed the waiter about this, the receipts were taken from me, he paid little attention to it and couldn't do anything with it. There wasn't even an apology. The sprouts in the salad all had black spots. Tasty and healthy is something else... even if the waiter said it's always like that with them. The rest of the lettuce has already had its best days behind it. Visitors at a neighboring table arrived after us, ate before us and left before we even got our food. Overall, orders were received very hesitantly. We're not nearly as fastidious but this really disappointed us. Especially because we were given the impression that everything wasn't so wild. In our opinion, the service didn't learn from it.

I've been going to this pizzeria for years, but today there was a rude waiter who deliberately ignored us after we asked several times about an order. I'll think about going here again.

The food tastes very good, the pizza is so big that you can't possibly eat it all. The staff is very friendly. After we've been there four times we feel like we're part of a big family. We recommend.

For me personally it's the tastiest pizza in town and the pasta is also very good. I'm always happy to be there, prices are OK too. But you should think twice about ordering because it may take a while and, strangely enough, it doesn't taste as good as it does locally. E.g. Tomato sauce totally sour and no taste and the pizzas much smaller...
