La Costa del Sol in Konstanz

Unfortunately, the food was unseasoned, only finished products, dried out bread without dip. Very unloving and very poor quality of food. Shrimp with intestines, crab claws and mussels are incredibly poor quality. Bread was cleared from the neighboring table, briefly set aside and served again to the next guests. If you want to reorder or pay, it takes a long time until you are seen. Sorry but I would never recommend it.

Mega rustic Spanish pub/bar. We discovered it by chance and only ate a few small tapas. Very, very tasty and the waiter was also incredibly nice and attentive. It's very comfortable to sit in the small beer garden, absolutely recommended!

The garden is pretty run down. The fish plate wasn't what we ordered, of course it was a lot more expensive. There are no receipts!

Unfortunately no parking space. Staff got annoyed after asking several times. And still no answer as to where there might be parking. Left again without eating.

I don't like to say bad things. Nothing great, big selection. Quality okay!

Amazing food. So tasty and done so well. A little pricey but portions are good. Large Patio with overhead cover when needed. The patio is elevated and you can see well onto the streets. The interior has kept its old fashion charm. The staff are incredible. Some of the best service experiences anywhere. The kitchen is quick. There are TVs inside for your viewing pleasure. No free WiFi.

Very tasty food, super nice staff and an excellent ambience. You feel very comfortable, almost like you are at home. A visit here is highly recommended. We ate here during the European Championships and enjoyed the game at the same time. I can only emphasize again how sensitive the entire team on site was. Tabletop and pizza tuna are my recommendation. Bon appetit and thank you!

By far the BEST Spanish restaurant in the region; if not in ALL of Baden-Württemberg. The service, the food, the atmosphere...everything is very appetizing and inviting. Yes- there is some dust here and there; Yes - the toilet is not the most modern... But if you want sterile cleanliness and modernity, it's better to eat in the hospital. Here you eat to chat, to enjoy, to experience... The Costa del Sol MUST NOT CLOSURE.

Maybe the main chef had traveled to Spain during the Easter holidays, because unfortunately the food wasn't really "Olé" and didn't remind you of a Spanish grandma's cooking. The chops were lukewarm, the vegetables were cold, only the potatoes were good. The squid rings in beer batter, which were very tasty, should be positively highlighted. However, the olives came from a can. With this product in particular, a Spanish restaurant should make sure to offer special pickled olives, like those known from the famous tapas bars in Spain. The price-performance ratio is okay, not outstanding, but also not cheap for what is on offer. With a few quality adjustments to the ingredients, the restaurant could be significantly better.

Garden is nice and sangria is good!

Food was great....only the outdoor area and the toilets were showing their age.

The so-called beer garden was very dingy. Old, yellowed parasols and dirty seat cushions. Service was a huge disaster, without rhyme or reason and totally overwhelmed even with just a few guests. Eating was a no go. Pizza probably frozen goods, mixed salad with old, dried-out chicken, probably from the day before with a brown edge. The promised lollipops for the children were also forgotten. Please give this restaurant a wide berth...

Condition is miserable. We waited 25 minutes for 3 drinks. When asked, the waiter said: “I have other tables too”

Watch out for the bad service! Specify order number and menu name. Were there for a birthday party. The wrong food was delivered to us and a menu was not forwarded at all. However, the serving daughter was of the opinion that we should pay for the food that we had never ordered and the food that never arrived. Would rather discuss how to apologize and type in the correct invoice. Unfortunately, this restaurant will no longer be an option for us next time. Was a very unfortunate and shameful experience.

The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We had paella to eat, which consisted of 90% overcooked rice. It lacked the freshness/juiciness and, above all, the fish content

Nice beer garden with Spanish cuisine.

We ate in the beer garden there yesterday and had a really nice time! Very quaint and has an authentic feel. The owner is very nice and accommodating, the food was great, freshly prepared and completely inexpensive, even compared to other restaurants. We recommend

Actually very nice atmosphere and restaurant. Unfortunately, catastrophic service! Very unpleasant staff. Of 15 meals, 3 didn't come at all, 2 that we hadn't ordered and 5 were cold. In addition, the quality of the food was extremely poor. Frozen vegetables dripping in water were offered as a side dish or vegetable plate at almost 20 euros per dish. The meat was ok, as were the tapas, but they were wildly overpriced. No recommendation, keeping a really wide distance would be best.

No one in their right mind would eat at this place, and not only because of the quality of their food but also because health care does not happen there from time to time, I do not recommend it AT ALL! Spaniards, please do not come, Valencians, forgive these gentlemen who make paella in the oven and without any notion of what a good Valencian paella is like 🙏

Delicious food and at a very good price...

After looking at several restaurants we saw a Spanish one in the area and after seeing the reviews I decided to take the risk of trying something that tastes like home. The big surprise of this meal was the garlic prawns (4 units €10) and the ham on the pizza was terrible... And to top it off we ordered two carajillos which he charged us at a gold price... €6.5 each unit. A shame. Nothing to snack on to wait for the food, what a disappointment.

If you love Spanish cuisine like we do, you will definitely enjoy it.

The charm of an old Spanish harbor bar hits you as soon as you enter. The welcome was just as honest and warm! The food, paella for two, was outstanding and reasonably priced. A “secret” tip for us and we’ll be happy to come back 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

When asked about a dish, the waitress in a dirty t-shirt said, baked chicken with fries; was my favorite dish here, "No, too much work". What else can you say about that? That's it...

Very good food, attentive to their satisfied customers, I love going. Very cozy place.

Wer einen urtümlichen Spanier sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Mega leckere Tapas und eine gigantische Paella. Auch die Fischgerichte sind sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist Service orientiert und beim letzten Mal kamen wir auch noch in den Genuss von spontaner Gitarren Musik.

Geräumiges Café mit einer großen Auswahl an Fassbier und Fischsnacks. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hierher zurückkommen für einen kleinen Fischbraten mit einem Glas Bier.

Das Ambiente war eher gewöhnungsbedürftig, die Räumlichkeiten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen - auch an den alten Speisekarten erkennbar. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, stets offen für unsere Wünsche. Die Anrichteweise der Speisen, zumindest der Tapas zu Beginn, hat uns nicht gefallen. Hier isst das Auge mit. Geschmacklich war es ok, hat aber nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Die Portionen waren groß. Die Paella für zwei war schön angerichtet und reichlich gefüllt. Geschmacklich war es ebenfalls ok, aber nichts besonderes. Im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalitäten dieser Zunft war es letztendlich etwas enttäuschend.

Leckeres Essen, uriges Ambiente und toller Service. Wir gehen jedes Mal wenn wir in Konstanz sind zu unserem Liblings Spanier.

La comida está bien de precio, pero le falta más calidad a los platos y el producto. El servicio es muy amable, pero el local y la carta necesitan reformas.

Das Essen war leider vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht zu empfehlen. 3 dünne Scheiben Schweinefilet (trocken gebraten) mit einer Hand voll Kartoffeln 18€. Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen. Da reicht die große Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht aus.

War an einem Samstag Abend zum Essen dort gewesen. Lokal war voll. Nette Atmosphäre, gesellig aber für paar Garnelen im Öl hab eine Stunde gewartet... das ist zu lange!

Incredibly kind owner and good tasting food for a great price. We had the best time and the owner was a friendly person. We enjoyed our meals and even our friend from chili said the food was great. Definitely go here if you enjoy Spanish food

Tasas excelentes auténticas españolas. Soy esosñola y mi esposo suizo y estuvimos muy contentos de elegir este restaurante.

Ein "eingedeutschter"Spanier, leider. Personal freundlich aber scheinbar zu wenig. Soße zum Lachs geschmacklos und pampig. Der Lachs offenbar nicht frisch( habe mich nachts übergeben). Das aloli war nicht selbstgemacht und schmeckte weder nach Knoblauch, noch war es authentisch spanisch. Lokal nicht behindertenfreundlich. Viele Treppen. Sehr schade. Location gibt mehr Möglichkeiten, ein tolles Restaurante daraus zu machen.

very authentic spanish restaurant - as in Spain, not latin America - has all the staples of typical castilian cuisine. If you are looking for the "real Spain experience", not the cliche, (fancy tapas and overpriced jamon etc.), then this is your place, many spaniards come here as well. I would not even say the Costa del Sol serves outstanding food - if it were in Spain it would be just like the other good place next doors - but it isn't. And that's what makes it special. Plus, it is located in a very casual beautiful cellar, cozy in winter but it also boosts a very nice outdoor garden for long summer nights. One more fact: This place is located in a quite interesting building in Konstanz for over 35 years, it opened way before there was this hype about tapas. Yet, the owners still spend every day in the restaurant and welcome everyone. Truly a small piece of old fashioned Spain right in the heart of Konstanz.

Ich habe Calamari mit Pommes gegessen. Die Calamari war garnicht Frisch und ich glaube es wurde einfach in irgendein Supermarkt gekauft und dann einfach in eine Mikrowelle erhitzt wurde. Die Pommes war ganz ok. Ein bisschen zu salzig aber damit kann ich noch leben. Der Service war ganz gut und alles kam relativ schnell.

Sehr fein spanische Spezialitäten

Authentisches spanisches Restaurant. Sehr traditionell und seit vielen Jahren eine feste Grösse in Konstanz. Ein Ort wo sich Konstanzer aber auch Spanier treffen. Unkompliziert mit perfektem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Servicepersonal. Es ist als ob die Zeit stehen geblieben ist. So sollte ein Restaurant-Besuch sein!

Der Biergarten ist alles in allem sehr schön, das Restaurant im Gewölbekeller hat ebenfalls einen guten Charme. Wir waren dort zu zweit und hatten eine Paella, eine Pizza und als Vorspeise fritierten Tintenfisch mit Aioli. Das essen war Super. Gerade die Meeresfrüchte auf der Paella und der Pizza waren klasse, dazu noch Eiskalter Sangria und der Abend war Perfekt.

Waren zum Mittagessen eingeladen. Gemütliches Ambiente. Wir hatten eine grosse Paella für 6 Personen. Sehr sehr lecker und authentisch.

Speisekarte mit zu vielen Gerichten. Konvienience Food. Der Biergarten ist OK. Innen voll die Rumpelbude.

Habe gegrillten Tintenfisch mit Salzkartoffeln gegessen, dazu einen Weißwein. Was für ein Gaumenschmaus! Geschmacklich überhaupt nicht enttäuscht worden. Ambiente draußen war schön und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das nächste Mal in Konstanz gerne wieder!

Resto à tapas avec terrasse, toilettes propres, nourriture bonne mais service laisse à désirer, quelques oublis, l’accompagnement qui arrive 15 min avant le plat, serveur qui fume devant les clients et reprend le service sans se laver les mains… Pour autant, nous avons bien mangé. J’aurai mis 3 étoiles mais j’en rajoute une car le serveur s’est excusé plusieurs fois

Como en casa, si estas por la zona , no dejes de visitarlo , estar en Alemania y comer como en España, no tiene prwcio, a demás de poder hablar el español con los camareros . Me agradecerás esta reseña si vas a comer o cenar . Precios populares y comida mediterránea 100x 100 . El gerente se llama Juan, muchos recuerdos de francis de talavera .
