We were there for the first time yesterday and were able to sit outside thanks to the beautiful weather. We were absolutely thrilled with the ambiance, the service, and the food. The absolute highlight for me is that they offer gluten-free pasta and pizzas (in their own oven)! I'm incredibly grateful for that and will be going back often, even if it's a bit of a long journey. The area around the restaurant is worth the trip alone; the lovely waitress did such a great job, and the food was truly amazing. Perhaps they could list all allergens on the menu as a suggestion, as I was a bit unsure about the starter and dessert. But after asking, they helped me. It's great that you're doing it this way with the gluten-free option!!! You've made my life a little better. Until next time

We were here for dinner. The carpaccio starter was truly delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the evening's quality deteriorated considerably afterward: We had to wait over an hour and a half for the main courses, even though the restaurant wasn't full. When my plate finally arrived, I was extremely disappointed: The tortellini were slightly burnt, bland in flavor, and didn't look particularly good. It's a shame, because the starter had promised a positive start. Overall, a mixed visit – friendly service and a good start, but a much too long wait and a disappointing main course.

We stopped there after a bike ride and didn't have to wait long for truly delicious pizzas. The hosts are very friendly, as if you were part of a family (I know that from Greeks). The terrace is inviting. We'd love to come back.

Very friendly and welcoming. The food is of good quality. It's also friendly with children. The seating is nice, and the outdoor area is worth it. There's a bit of a sewer smell from time to time, but that's not the restaurant's fault. If you want pizza, this is recommended.

Unfortunately, I was there for the first time yesterday... we got a table at short notice in the very busy restaurant. The pizza was great, the service was attentive. We had a lovely evening there and would love to come back.

To start positively, the ambiance was nice and service quite fast. Furthermore, the food of the others in our group looked fine, but really not at the level of other Italians in the Netherlands/Germany and laughable compared to Italy. The reason I'm writing this review is because I've been feeling nauseous all day. We ordered a carbonara but this was just dried and boiled spaghetti with intense pepper and cheap olive oil. What really bothers me is that the waiter initially indicated that this was just pure carbonara as it should be and mentioned the ingredients. We became more nauseous with each bite. The owner took this seriously and indicated that this was due to the wrong bacon (no pancetta). Although we appreciate this, this is unfortunately a poor excuse, see photo; The ingredients are mainly pasta, lots of pepper and even more cheap olive oil. The rest of the dishes at the table didn't look phenomenal either, I'm really curious where this high rating comes from... The owner resolved it nicely, today the two stars. However, I don't see why the restaurant's rating is above 4 stars. The prices are reasonable, so it could probably be a matter of price and quality.

We were there for a family celebration and everyone enjoyed it. The portions were generous, and the fish soup that I enjoyed was also very large and plentiful. The furnishings are very tasteful and the former Elbers beach house "Zur Soup" now also has real patio furniture. There are free parking spaces opposite and you can take a walk around the Ferkesbruch for a digestive walk.

They recommend this as a starting point for a hike followed by a meal. However, they closed off the parking with red tape and their own car, ‘guests only’ which meant we couldn’t park there to go hike then eat. At this blatant display of inhospitable behavior we decided against even trying the restaurant. The parking is huge and stands empty by the way. Epic fail. All the owner has to say about her blocking off the huge parking: we are on holiday, you wouldn’t let people park on your private terrain would you? Of course I would, especially after the city promotes my business with signs and a hike, it’s a large open space and there is absolutely no downfall for yourself whatsoever. Doubling down on inhospitable behavior, I would avoid her and her restaurant.

Wir kehren sehr oft ein und sind bisher immer mit allem sehr zufrieden gewesen.

Immer wieder gerne - ob nun zu zweit oder wie gestern in einer größeren Runde, der herzliche Service und die sehr leckeren Speisen haben mich bisher jedes Mal begeistert! Die Ravioli mit Reh und Trüffel haben mein Herz im Sturm erobert, sehr, sehr köstlich! Gestern bei wirklich vollem Haus wäre ein weiteres Paar Hände im Service sicher hilfreich gewesen, nichtsdestotrotz haben sich zumindest bei uns am Tisch alle gut umsorgt gefühlt - danke dafür! Für mich ist das La Caverna eine klare Empfehlung für ehrliche, sehr leckere Küche mit Herz und einem passenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Gemütliche Pizzeria. Essen gut. Portionen ausreichend

Das Personal war freundlich und der Service alles in allem gut. Die Pizzen waren, wie man es bei einem Italiener erwartet, ebenfalls gut. Wir hatten uns allerdings leider für das Steak entschieden und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Auch die Spaghetti aglio olio waren nicht wirklich geschmacksintensiv und irgendwo zwischen noch roh und grad so al dente gekocht. Wenn man keine Experimente macht und sich für eine Pizza entscheidet, kann ich dieses Lokal empfehlen. Für alles andere muss ich leider sagen: Finger weg. :)

Die Pizzen sind ok, alles andere ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Alle Speisen waren übertrieben in Olivenöl getränkt und die Beilagen sehr lieblos. Für die Qualität des Essens und die Lage, ist das Restaurant auch leider recht teuer.

Essen und Service waren super, das Ambiente leidet, da Tisch an Tisch steht und die Kleinigkeiten fehlen (Kerze oder Blümchen auf dem Tisch).

Hier kann man sehr gut essen. Wir haben Rinderfiletsteak gegessen und Pizza. Hat alles gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienungen sind sehr aufmerksamen und sollte mal gerade keine in der nähe sein hat man einen Drücker auf dem Tisch den man betätigen kann wenn man nicht warten möchte. Man kann innen und außen essen. Parkplätze sind auch genügend da.

Der Biergarten ist zu dicht bestuhlt und lieblos hergerichtet. 1,5h aufs Essen gewartet für ne Pizza und Tagliatelle bolognese, die auch ohne Parmesan serviert wurden. Der Service war sehr bemüht und freundlich aber überfordert.

Wir sind Stamkunden dort. Meine Frau ist heute ins Krankenhaus gekommen und ich bin an der linken Hand operiert worden. Habe heute für eine Person bestellt und es wurde auf den mindest bestellwert verzichtet. Das nenne ich Service am Kunden. Vielen Dank. B
