Had dinner there for the first time in a long time. Great atmosphere and friendly service...but I think it's a complete disgrace and completely overpriced to charge over €20 for a gluten-free pizza with pre-made dough the size of a frozen pizza!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only agree with the previous comment. It's not a cheap restaurant, but it's something! More expensive food is worth the price. Well-topped pizza, sometimes a little different, you can enjoy it inside or outside. For me, that's definitely what sets it apart from the surrounding restaurants! D.J.

I have been to this restaurant three times, but each time my impression of it was destroyed. The first time I really liked the food, we came in the evening and the cook knows his job, the only downside I can say is that it is very expensive. Then we came again in the afternoon and were very disappointed. The service was terrible, as if we had come home to this waitress and demanded food. I ordered carbonara and I swear, I have never eaten worse. Just fried pork fat and cream. But I decided to give this restaurant a third chance. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and was very disappointed. the pasta was overcooked and there was almost no meat there, just like there was no bolognese sauce. she was dry. I must pay tribute, the drinks there are at a good level and 2 out of 3 times the service was excellent. but unfortunately I won’t go there to eat again.

Great restaurant in the middle of Minden's pedestrian zone. The food isn't exactly cheap, but it's delicious and generous. Please note that this restaurant is in the middle of town. You won't get a kebab for €5 here. The "Little Coward" pizza was terrific. And large, too. It was a man's portion. But the other dishes also looked delicious. My wife had a beef pan that was cooked to perfection. Simply fantastic. The staff is very attentive. The wait for the actual food was perhaps a bit longer than usual, but it was hot and fresh. A great restaurant that we highly recommend.

The dishes are very unusual, and I had a hard time finding something to suit my taste. Tarte flambée (if that's what it was) is listed under pizza. Unfortunately, I didn't like it that evening. When the server asked about it, she may have missed my answer and moved on with a smile. The ambiance itself is very nice. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pizza there (I tried two different ones). They have very few toppings, the crust is very dry, and I didn't like the ingredients. The drinks... There are more ice cubes than drinks. It's better to order without ice.

Today I had lunch at the Italian restaurant L.A. Basta-Pizza e Pasta, located at the market square, on the corner of Obermarktstraße. The restaurant is very tastefully and comfortably decorated. I had the dish "Vitello Tonnato," which consisted of thinly sliced ​​veal with tuna cream, capers, pearl onions, cherry tomatoes, and two warm pizza sticks. The food was absolutely delicious. The waitress was also very friendly; I felt very comfortable in the restaurant. 👍👍🙏🙏

A delicious restaurant with excellent pizza and delicious pasta dishes. I've eaten there and ordered in the past. The prices are a bit high, the service is friendly, and the location is very central in downtown Minden. I personally don't like the interior design; it's very cluttered and a mix of many styles. However, the space offers a lot of potential for a beautiful design. Advertising partners like Gina-Lisa, who uses L.A. Basta to promote her on social media, are rather negative advertising and a turn-off for me. Still, I recommend it! The food is good and the staff friendly.

Unfortunately, the value for money here is absolutely not right. The pizza is very sparsely topped. This makes it very dry, and the extremely thin crust means the pizza is cold and hard after just a few minutes. Even the 40cm diameter doesn't break. Additionally, the flavor was lacking. The two stars are for the spaghetti, which tasted good but was unfortunately overpriced. The drinks are also far too expensive.

While strolling through Minden, we came across this great restaurant. The ambiance immediately captivated us – different, colorful, a bit crazy, but very stylish and fitting. A lot of effort has gone into this. The restrooms are clean and stylishly decorated – cotton pads and tampons are available for the ladies. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent from start to finish! The quality is top-notch! The taste is superb – always visually appealing. We've been here several times now, and it's always really good. Of course, this quality comes at a price – but you really get what you pay for. A clear recommendation!

Adorable... Delicious food... great atmosphere

We just drank there. Outside. And sat quite nicely too. You sit well and comfortably and have a good view of the entire market square. The Caipirinha costs €11 (eleven). The ice in it is so small that it clogs the straw. Drinking in comfort: out of the question. With a little good will it works, but with a little thought on the part of the maker the ice cream wouldn't have been so small. The caipirinha is less than so-so. For €11 outrageous. Not to mention that I find €11 for a caipirinha to be extremely expensive anyway. The decoration, an artfully dried slice of lime, is really beautiful.

The food was very tasty, the service was great. However, if you want to eat authentic Italian food, this is the wrong place. The carbonara was really tasty, but had little to do with original Italian. Pizza with Gouda and topped to the brim? That's not Italian either. Highly priced, but top quality and service. But I expected something different when it came to the title “best Italian”.

The pizzas are highly recommended. Completely different creations, very tasty. Extremely nice staff and a very nice atmosphere.

Pasta Carbonara was good but not a large portion for the price of €19. Drinks extremely expensive (soft drinks 0.4l €6-7). Service nice and attentive. Ambiance is nice, central location on the market square, but you can find better restaurants for the price.

The service was attentive. Unfortunately my Coca Cola wasn't a Coca Cola and I wasn't made aware of it. The Antipasti Veggie starter was not convincing (the eggplant(?) was cold and too hard). The Pasta All' Arabiata had onion and garlic pieces that were too large and the pasta with lobster cream sauce, asparagus and shrimp was not worth €26 and was far too large a portion. The sauce is now very heavy on my stomach. The atmosphere was also rather unpleasant because it was very empty. Unfortunately, it was a flop and far too expensive.

This was my first culinary experience as a new resident of Minden and I was not at all disappointed. On the contrary, I was very surprised by the enchanting ambience, which seemed so inconspicuous from the outside. I was immediately greeted in a very friendly manner and served quickly. To be fair, it has to be said that there is not very busy traffic on a Monday lunchtime. With a diameter of over 40 cm, the pizza here is not only huge by German standards, but also tastes fantastic. The restaurant also offers this pizza in half, which will almost certainly fill the average eater. Which finally brings us to dessert. For me, a successful pizza meal simply requires tiramisu. And that's exactly what I got here too. The piece was quite large compared to the restaurants I usually go to. The tiramisu also tastes impeccable and is brought to the table beautifully decorated with fruit. If you really want to complain, you could say that the berries weren't great. But in winter you can't expect much. At this point I would also like to take up the reviews from some other users regarding the price: Yes, you can't get away with a meal here very cheaply. But considering the really large portions and the excellent taste, I can't confirm that a visit here is "expensive". The price is proportional to the service and I think that’s fair. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend a special evening and doesn't just want to leave feeling full.

For two people without a starter, each with 1x wine spritzer (unfortunately it only tasted like water) + 1x meal + 1x cocktail, we came to just under €100. Nice atmosphere but it was NOT worth it for us, what a shame!

What a sensational pizza. Everything else was excellent too, but I don't know when I've had such a tasty pizza. My favorite pizzeria Mamma Mia in Ottensen/Hamburg has been closed for almost 5 years and I'm looking for something comparable. Hard to find in Hamburg, but LA Basta would be an equal replacement if it wasn't 280km away

A decent pizza, Roman-thin and lightly topped. Tastes good, but… The price is awesome! The world's most expensive pizza! 24 € is really an announcement. But at least it tasted good. With wine it was more difficult. The small glass of Montepulciano for €10 didn't taste typical of the variety at all, but the bottle of Primitivo for the same price certainly costs less. Both wines disappointed. Why is it still well attended? I don't know it. It's definitely not because of the service.

I called the restaurant today to ask if I could SPONTANEOUSLY and SHORT-TERM reserve a table for several people for tomorrow, it could have been that I was lucky. The employee on the phone literally laughed at me - not only that, she couldn't stop laughing and said "Tomorrow is Valentine's Day"! I've been behind the counter for 25 years and if I allowed myself to treat customers like that, my boss would justifiably fire me. And by the way, I still got a table in the city center without being laughed at.

Yesterday was our first time at L.A. basta, but definitely not the last time. My husband had pizza and I had a very tasty Thai pasta dish. The food was very good, tasty and fresh. The prices were reasonable. The young ladies in service were very attentive and friendly. We sat outside in the great weather and would love to come back. An Italian restaurant that we would happily recommend. 1.2.25 Today the two of us were at L.A.Basta again. We ordered the Antipasti Misti plate. Just super delicious! The service was also really nice and attentive. We'll be back. You are the best. 🥰

I wouldn't use the delivery service again. The antipasti mix platter only tasted like olives. My partner (himself Italian) and I don't understand the prices for lasagne and carbonara. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo beforehand. When I compare the sizes with the pictures here, I think it's half a portion for those who order it, with the same price. I'll leave the taste out of the equation, as we all know it varies. What I like is that the carbonara was without cream (like in Italy).

A very interesting cafe! We waited for the train and decided to eat something. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere inside was very pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised. Location. Menu. Eat. I liked the menu so much that I had a damn hard time deciding on something. In the end it turned out to be a pizza with two variants. Only the location gets a star deducted because there are too many tables. So it loses its exclusivity and I find it uncomfortable to touch others when standing up/sitting down. Once again we were able to get a table at short notice. Definite recommendation!

We were there as a larger group on the weekend of the doctors' concert, when there was a state of emergency in Minden. First of all, praise to the service staff. The store was packed, but everything worked great! The orders came relatively quickly and all the dishes at the same time and the employees were all very friendly. The pizzas are tasty and the quality is top, but for me the price level is clearly too high. Charging €16 for a Pizza Funghi... Well. The pizza seems huge, but the base is also very thin, more reminiscent of tarte flambée. I wouldn't have expected an alternative to cow's milk to be offered in this actually quite hip and young restaurant. Card payment is also not possible, which I think is a bit out of date.

I was visiting from Cologne and the ambience was nice to look at, so the interior design is nice but unfortunately the prices are totally exorbitant. We once had Anti Mista as a starter and I had the Nona pizza for 29 euros so what can I say the truffle on the pizza wasn't a real truffle and the dough was almost raw. The Anti Mista was served with raw eggplant and zucchini. The owner is definitely not Italian. The taste was ok, but all in all it was totally overpriced and the quality wasn't convincing. We left half of it because I don't like raw dough, raw eggplant or zucchini

The atmosphere is unusual and good, the pinsa was tasty, but I would order it with thinner dough next time. What doesn't work at all are the drink prices. E.g. 4.50 euros for a 0.3 l apple spritzer in a glass that probably barely holds 0.3 l.

Disappointing value for money Unfortunately the restaurant could not meet my expectations. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, but that alone by no means justifies the high prices. The dessert was particularly disappointing: a chocolate cake with a liquid center was served after a whopping 40 minutes of waiting - and there was no question of a liquid center. Instead, it seemed like a simple mug cake that fell far short of being a sophisticated dessert. The prices are simply not appropriate for what is on offer. It may be a restaurant with pleasant decor, but the dining experience falls far short of expectations.

Roasted Cabbage: If you like barbecue sauce, don't order this dish! You will be deprived of the taste for a long time, I fear almost forever. The dish is quickly explained. Pour enough warm BBQ sauce over a pointed cabbage until it floats in it. That's about it. Artichoke, yuzu and Grana Padano, which should also be there, cannot be found; But they would also be difficult to detect in the BBQ soup. If you like, you could completely sink the gnocchi, which are served separately. We didn't say anything that evening. It was a birthday party where people paid more attention to chatting than eating. But with a little distance, the memory of the taste of the dish becomes worse and worse. Hence this letter as a warning to others and to get it out of my head.

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with L.A. Basta. The prices are absolutely exorbitant (pizza tuna with jalapeno for €27) and what you get for it is simply not worth it. For what is charged, I expect a much higher quality, but the pizza was a total disappointment in terms of taste. On top of that, I had to go to the bathroom several times after eating, which made my experience even worse. What particularly bothered me is the fact that L.A. basta advertises with photos of celebrities to justify their prices. But the food itself is absolutely not worth this high price. This marketing strategy is deceptive and leaves a bitter aftertaste. My recommendation: Save your money and look for another pizzeria that offers better quality at reasonable prices. I definitely won't be coming back. All joking aside, it's better to order a pizza from the Dönermann, the pizzas definitely taste better there

After the starter it took almost an hour and two requests for the main course to arrive. The prices are okay for the quality, but communication and service are subpar.

In the end it remains a pizza or pasta that doesn't cost any money to produce. €23 or more for pizza or pasta is completely excessive. And charging €7 for a normal glass of homemade lemonade, which ended up being just water with too much syrup poured on, is a rip-off.

Pretty average pasta, I was told my first choice wasn't available and tried the arabiatta which was just a tomato sauce. Maybe the pizzas are better! Staff were nice though and service was fine.

Sehr freundlicher Service, der Gruß aus der Küche war sehr lecker. Die Pizza haben wir uns geteilt, weil wir keinen großen Hunger hatten. Die Pizza war sehr groß und hatte keinen Rand! Endlich mal keine 08/15 Pizza. Vom Geschmack her war sie unglaublich gut! Nun zur Einrichtung die sehr kreativ und Geschmackvoll war. Auch die Toilette war sehr sauber und vom Stil her sehr ansprechend. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder dort essen. Danke für den netten Abend.

Die Location ist nett, aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Eine Carbonara die ohne Eigelb ( es war eine helle Sosse, die Nicht gelb war und auch keinen Parmesan enthielt)!serviert wurde kostet dann einmal mit € 21,00 sicher €4,00 - €5,.00 zu viel! Die Pizzen sind mächtig und speziell (mit Kartoffeln und Sauce Hollandaise oder mit Rindfleisch und Hoisin Sauce, aber das ist Geschmackssache! Nur der Pizzaboden ist zu dick und dann nicht knusprig! Man hat es dort einmal probiert, man muss allerdings nicht noch einmal hin! Schade!!

We visited this restaurant after a day trip and sat outside. You have to put up with the cushions on the wooden chairs and the tables on a slope. The carpaccio with “air-dried beef” didn’t get any better because it was topped with a thick ball of mozzarella and lots of pesto. The Quattro Formaggi pizza was okay, but not for €23. The pasta was very little, not hot and actually just spicy for an all arrabiata, but tasteless. At a restaurant with these prices, you actually expect good to very good service. This needs to be reworked urgently. All in all, a dinner that was definitely not worth its €80. A pity.

Pizzen für bis zu 26 € sind (selbst) für Minden zu hoch gegriffen, zumal die Scampi jämmerlich belegt ist. Da ist der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service auch keine Rettung mehr - schade !

We've also had better mixed starters, although the dips with them were very good. The spinach ravioli were very tasty. We were at Labasta yesterday on a wonderful evening and were simply surprised by everything - great service, incredibly great ambience with live music and the food was absolutely outstanding! We definitely come back more often and absolutely recommend it!
