War zum Mittagessen verabredet, es gab zusätzlich eine kleine Mittagkarte mit täglich wechselnden Speisen, jedes der Gerichte unter 11 Euro...es war an einem verregneten Freitag im Juni gut besucht. Sehr freundliche Servicemitarbeiterin. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet !

Wir waren spontan dort und bekamen auch einen Platz, wobei es Donnerstags immer sehr voll ist, die Servicekräfte waren freundlich und haben es möglich gemacht. Das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Das Ambiente war urig und stimmig, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider war das Essen jetzt geschmacklich eher nicht so mein Fall. Dafür war die Portion mehr als reichlich.

Zu 22.00 Uhr sollte man gegangen sein. Man wird sonst ehrlich höflich aufgefordert es zu tun.

Bin öfter da und egal was man ordert, es schmeckt solide. Kann man machen und guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Leckeres essen und Preis Leistung ist auch gut. Sehr zu empfehlen für Deutsches leckeres Essen.

Ordentliche Hausmannskost, von Backkartoffeln, über Fisch, Kartoffelaufläufe, Spare Ribs usw. dürfte es für jeden etwas passendes geben. Die Spare Ribs waren lecker und knusprig. 😁 Das dazu gereichte Baquette könnte man aber irgendwie etwas aufpeppen. Vielleicht mit etwas Kräuterbutter dazu oder mit einer kleinen Aoli. Die Preise sind angemessen und die Bedienung freundlich. Es gab etwas Wartezeit aber ich finde das nicht so schlimm. Interieur ist urig. Wie in einee Schenke/Scheune.

Gutes zünftiges Essen. Gerne wieder.

Super Essen und Super Laden! Als Vorspeise gab es Reibekuchen.. wie bei Oma! Als Hauptspeise hatte ich die 81 und das war wirklich ein üppiger Teller! Die Rindermedaillons waren auf den Punkt gegart und perfekt. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und kam immer wieder in regelmäßigen Abständen vorbei und hat gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Ich kann die Knolle in Minden wärmstens empfehlen!

Sehr angenehme Bedienung, Wartezeit könnte etwas kürzer sein abends, war aber noch okay. Ambiente noch sehr old school rustikal -aber old as gold ;) Bratkartoffeln sehr lecker - Mettröllchen waren geschmacklich bissel langweilig, vielleicht mehr Rindermett rein? Ansonsten solide Leistung hier.

Ich würde die Knolle ganz bescheiden als eines der letzten Bollwerke gegen die Eintönigkeit der Mindener Kulinarik bezeichnen. Zugegeben, die Chance, dass man unter 20 Euro bleibt, geht gegen 0. Aber die Portionen sind auch für wirklich große Esser perfekt und bei Bedarf gibt es viele Speisen auch als kleinere Portion. Geschmacklich ar ich bei meinen bisherigen Besuchen auch ausnahmslos sehr zufrieden. Man wird herzlich begrüßt und freundlich bedient. Ein perfektes Rundumpaket für sowohl Familienessen, wie auch ein Solo Dinner. Jederzeit gerne wieder~

Das Personal gibt alles, ist nett und freundlich und rockt die Bude. Das Essen ist solide, könnte aber noch etwas Finesse vertragen. Die Portionen mächtig und reichhaltig. Die Lokalität ist sehr groß, allerdings auch gut besucht, weshalb es besser ist zu reservieren.

Unglaublich dieser Laden….ständig das Angebot vom Mittagstisch nicht aktualisiert…. Passiert ständig. Auch die Qualität lässt langsam sehr zu wünschen übrig….

Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig, wir waren pappsatt und konnten Reste mitnehmen.

Das Essen war gut und frisch zubereitet. Der Service war freundlich und die Wartezeit in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein solider Restaurantbesuch.

Ein großes, aber urgemütliches Wirtshaus, das sein Kartoffel-Thema konsequent in jeder erdenklichen Variation anbietet. Auch die Vorspeisen (Knoblauch-Baguette!) sind sehr lecker und gut bemessen. Der Service ist äußerst freundlich. Man fühlt sich hier gut aufgehoben!

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war frisch und lecker. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. We were here with our company for our Christmas party. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and hearty. The portions were very generous. We were very well looked after. Definitely worth a visit.

My retirement celebration was to be held in Minden, and the Knolle restaurant was recommended to me. And rightly so. I'm thrilled. From the initial contact and the arrangements to the execution of the celebration itself, everything was top-notch. Always friendly, polite, and accommodating. The ambiance is charming, the food delicious, and the service simply outstanding. "I've never experienced a buffet being explained to me before," my guests remarked. I'm used to that – from four-star hotels! When I announced upon arrival that we'd be staying until 10 p.m., it wasn't a problem at all. They served us with smiles right up until the very end, around 1 a.m. The icing on the cake came with the bill. We had booked for 35 people, but only 31 showed up. And the buffet was only charged for those 31. I've never experienced anything like it. Thank you, Knolle team. You also played a part in making it an unforgettable evening for me.

The food arrived after over an hour. The baked potato was absolutely awful! Especially with a name like "Knolle" (boiler), the potatoes should have been top-notch! The Savoy cabbage casserole was equally disappointing!

We were given a table at short notice without a reservation. The restaurant is charming, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We immediately reserved another table for the following evening. The price-performance ratio was perfect. All the dishes were impeccably and freshly prepared, and we didn't have to wait long. It was also great that smaller portions were available for some dishes. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Knolle in Minden.

Soooo.... short and sweet: Awesome! In more detail: Absolutely fantastic! The food was really delicious, the portions were for adults, and the service was great. We were in Minden for a weekend and happened to end up at "Der Knolle" and immediately made a reservation for the following evening. We weren't disappointed then either. Our waiter was superb. Thanks again for the "merchandise items" 😬 One more thing: If someone complains about the food but eats it anyway and then tries to haggle over the price... well, let's just say they're not very good at it.

Located right near our hotel, we thought we'd give it a try. The menu was so varied, it was hard to choose. We had pumpkin soup, a sweet potato and beetroot appetizer, and a potato and savoy cabbage casserole. Delicious! The staff were very friendly and cheerful, which we really appreciated :-)

Typical local restaurant with delicious cuisine and good beer 🍻

We waited 50 minutes for overcooked "fine" frozen vegetables. The pork medallion was so overcooked I felt sorry for the poor animal. The Béarnaise sauce was the worst I've ever had and tasted very much like ready-made food. My husband's rösti tasted like pulled pork from three weeks ago that had been reheated and was also inedible. The only positive thing was the waitress, who seemed genuinely sorry and only charged us half price. We won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If you enjoy delicious, good, and fresh food, this is the place for you. The menu and products are fantastic. I particularly like the fact that many dishes are available in smaller portions! Friendly staff. A bit shaggy, but still good! We'd be happy to go back!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The wait time was stated to be 45 minutes, but we actually had to wait 1.25 hours, and that was with small children. Then we ordered hollandaise. It came cold at first, but then it took so long to heat up that we were already finished. So, given the value for money, I'd say I won't order it again!

The selection of dishes is very diverse. A cozy, quaint atmosphere. Reservations are recommended. Opening hours could be longer.

This time, we had the summer bowl, a delicious vegetarian option with a mango dip. It was plenty, even for a meat-eater like me. I found it really tasty, especially because of the fruity flavor. And the service was very friendly. I definitely recommend it; the ambiance could be a bit better in one or two places.

Very nice beer garden. The staff was quite quick, friendly, and attentive. Prices were average. The food was very well presented and delicious. One criticism, given the price: is this really a ready-made schnitzel? Not even a nice homemade schnitzel? Does it really have to be factory-made schnitzel with breading? A shame.

Very good and generous, hearty portions. It's much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. The beer garden is okay, but everything inside is top-notch. There's even a playroom for the kids, who can't sit still at the table these days.

I'd easily give it one more star for the service, but five is the end of the line. Great restaurant, our food was very good, very large portions, too much for me, which I particularly liked. The service notices when the glasses are getting empty and asks if you want anything else. Where else do you find that? Six stars for that. We were in Minden by boat, about a 20-minute walk away, so it's easily accessible. Dogs are allowed, which is also worth mentioning, so another thumbs up for that. The ambiance is also very nice, inviting you to linger.

A lovely restaurant for families with children and groups. There's a playroom with plenty of toys for the little ones. Our little dog was even allowed to join us. The menu consists primarily of traditional, home-style cooking with seasonal dishes. The Knolle doesn't even claim to be a Michelin-starred restaurant. Nevertheless, it gets five stars because the food was delicious, we and our family felt completely at home, and the service was excellent.

I chose dish number 83 on the menu. Almost €26.00. Mindener Pfanne or something like that. The pork medallions were absolutely terrible, overcooked. The chef had also pounded them flat. A no-go for pork medallions. Instead of three as described on the menu, I only found two on my plate. The fried potatoes were mushy and very salty. The waiters (the ladies) were very friendly and the atmosphere was very good. Very cozy. The waiter greeted each guest with: GOOD MORNING. We were there at 6 p.m. It was probably meant to be funny, but I found it rather odd. Not in keeping with the restaurant.

We discovered this tuber spontaneously after a doctor's visit! A small family in front of us asked for a free table and were reminded to always make a reservation first! This happened to us too; we're not from Minden and didn't know the restaurant, but there are other ways to do things. It just left a bad aftertaste. Too bad, first impressions are always the most important! Quaint shop with a lovely beer garden. For starters, my wife and I shared the potato pancakes with salmon. >Very nicely presented and very tasty< Next up was spit roast for the gentleman. Too bad about the fried potatoes, my annoying problem. Why are they called fried potatoes, not fried, hardly any seasoning! The roast was nice and juicy. My wife had potato casserole. >There are two sizes to choose from! Take the smaller one, the other is much too big (you can take the rest with you). It tasted good!

Despite making a reservation, I got a children's table in the middle, so the service deducted. The potato pancakes were soggy and greasy. The casserole was difficult for the body to process. The salmon was dry and bland. The side salad was truly delicious, and the service at the table was excellent.

Despite the very warm weather, I only went to the beer garden and drank a cold Barre Pils. It was a bit too warm for dinner today, but I'll make up for that later. "Die Knolle" is tastefully and comfortably decorated. I've eaten at "Die Knolle" several times and have never been disappointed. However, today was my first time in the beer garden.

Here you'll find solid, home-cooked food at reasonable prices. Drinks are relatively expensive, just like everywhere else these days. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and managed to get a table without a reservation, even though the restaurant was busy. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for the food, but it tasted good.

The Knelle is truly recommended. There's a reason why so many guests come here. When it's busy, you have to be prepared for the rush. The kitchen is running at full speed. Therefore, everything is fresh and delicious.

You definitely have to visit this restaurant if you want to eat in Minden. A very nice, friendly and attentive service staff always served us with a smile. The ambience was very rustic...everything was made of wood and well maintained. There is also a small, quiet beer garden in the courtyard.

I like to eat at the Knolle, it's super tasty, unfortunately a lot of other people know this too and the only thing that sometimes stops me from booking there is the long wait for the food. The service is very good and ensures that the waiting time is shortened. Anyone who likes it rustic will love it.

Was here for the first time this evening with work colleagues. Food very tasty and also a lot of choice of vegetarian options. The service was very friendly, although perhaps a little more staff would have been good - it always took quite a long time until the next drink order was taken. I can't recommend the baked potato with herb sour cream for the price. The potatoes were already old and reheated, and they didn't taste good at all. The herb sour cream and salad, on the other hand, were good. The fried potatoes were very black in places.

The food is thrown together quite carelessly. Expect quite long waiting times for service. The ambience needs a refresh - some chairs almost collapse on their own.

I had another very nice, cozy evening in the Knolle with my friends! We were tired of ribs and again they were delicious. Service was again very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend the tuber!

Great, we'll be back. I like it here better than in Bünde.
