A rustic restaurant with lots of space. The service was very friendly. We enjoyed the food. No star cuisine, but good pub food. We didn't manage our portions. If you're hungry and like tasty, hearty cuisine, this is the place for you.

Large portion, but unfortunately the quality doesn't match. The place is quite busy...seems like a pub and not a restaurant. My steak wasn't cooked well.

As always a pleasure, food and service consistently at a high level. We always enjoy being guests and love going to the Knolle with good friends!! Dear team, please keep it up *****

Were there yesterday and I have to say it was really good, the conditions were friendly and our two schnitzels, I had a cordon bleu and my father had a schnitzel with champion cream sauce were really tasty, the inside of the restaurant is really nicely designed, we would like to come back :)

Unfortunately the food disappointed us. Rösti and fried potatoes were limp, although such dishes should be the core competence here. Unfortunately disappointing.

I go there often and no matter what you order, it tastes solid. You can do it and recommend it with a clear conscience.

We were in a hotel around the corner, so we spontaneously went to the tub. We ordered the Minden pan in small size. But the portion was more normal than small and also really tasty. The service was very friendly, it's a shame that we haven't found a restaurant in Hanover where everything fits together like this.

We were there with a larger group and couldn't really recommend the restaurant. For me, the vegetables were definitely from the freezer, jar or can. You could tell by the shapes. When I ordered, I asked for enough sauce, but unfortunately this request was not fulfilled, so I had to reorder. Unfortunately, an additional pot of sauce was charged at EUR 3.50. Considering it was probably sauce from a tetra pack, it's a bit expensive. The gratinated dishes were a big dump that looked like it had been reheated and reheated from the day before. The cheese didn't melt, everything was rock hard. The taste of the food was ok, not really good, but not bad either. However, the prices are clearly too high for this quality of food. The ambience is rustic and that fits with the theme of the restaurant. Only the benches and chairs could be reupholstered again.

There were 6 of us in the Knolle without a reservation. It was very good and beautiful. Nice service, large fresh portions and fast service. Always my pleasure.

Great food, very satisfied. Call and get an appointment straight away. Simply great. It's worth a trip there.

Price performance is okay. Some dishes still have room for improvement. Garlic bread, for example, can be toasted in garlic butter, a little olive oil and parmesan on top, and you're done :) looks better than plain bread with garlic mayo. The service was excellent Thanks for that.

As already described here several times, the service there is very nice and very attentive. We can only confirm that. The food also came relatively quickly. The salmon burger, which is recommended on the menu, tastes delicious. Really good idea to use two potato pancakes as a burger patty. The food was very rich and you felt full. Overall, absolutely recommended. We would come back there again and again.

Fine restaurant with moderate prices. There are interesting potato dishes.

We ordered Rösti with pork fillet strips, Rösti with pulled pork, both gratinated with cheese. What came was a cheese slush. It was just dripping with grease. The rhubarb spritzer was so sour, lemon water tasted better. Only the small salad was ok. You can't go wrong too much. There is no value for money at all. We won't come back.

Very good restaurant, actually the best in the town, just outside the city center but still easily accessible. Friendly service, large selection of dishes, large portions. You will definitely be full. Had the “Mediterranean” potato casserole, everything freshly prepared and very tasty. I can happily recommend it.

Very nice restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. Very large selection of food and drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful, but we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food at lunchtime. Most of the dishes are high quality and very tasty...occasionally there are 1-2 stars deducted, but we would be happy to come back.

We had a very tasty meal here. The service is right and the price is right too! Gladly again!

Onion soup fresh but limitedly spicy. Main course Minderpfanne pork fillet, fried potatoes and mushrooms great, vegetables good frozen product. Dessert apple in beer batter not great but good. Portion size huge. Price/quantity very good. I recommend that everyone will definitely be tasty and full.

I ordered a snichtzel with mushrooms and fried onion which was then served with a separate salad. Very good, in abundant quantity and at a more than acceptable price.

We were there twice in one week because we were on vacation nearby. The service is great, we had the same waiter twice, he was super friendly and could even remember what we ate and where we sat. The food was super tasty, both the main course and the dessert. We will be happy to come back and recommend this restaurant :-)

Were there with about 10 people. We had to wait a long time for the food, about 30-40 minutes. And then another dish was forgotten. The children's portions arrived 20 minutes earlier than the adult meals, which unfortunately prevented a leisurely meal. The pork medallions were dry and very darkly fried and therefore not worth the €26.50! The waiter was rude and made rude comments like, "I was just here, couldn't you order drinks?" On top of all this, we had to wait a long time for desserts at the end and one dessert was forgotten. All in all, I was unfortunately very dissatisfied with the waiter this time, but also with the food as a whole.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. Had the Rösti Napoli with spicy minced meat sauce. Actually it was just dry minced meat with peppers and mushrooms. It was just dry and very blandly seasoned. Not very visually appealing either, you could do a lot more with it.

Great food and cozy atmosphere!

For lunch we had Mindener Pfanne and Knolle Flammkuchen style. Both were very tasty and filling. The service was great!

Unfortunately, I didn't like the casserole and my companions' Röstis were also massive and covered in lots of cheese. You'll definitely be full! Many visitors went home with packed food. Anyone who likes to eat a lot of food will find what they are looking for here! Prices are rather high!

Delicious food, reasonable prices, nice service, nice ambience

This restaurant is not recommended. We were there with three people and made reservations a few days in advance. Got a table for 6 people in the middle of the large room, although there were still a few smaller tables available. The staff came to the table sometimes on the right and sometimes on the left and then said 'hey' to us if we didn't react straight away. The acoustics were also shockingly loud. My mother wanted to take her food with her, staff came and literally threw the take-out container on the table so we could pack the food. We will not visit the tuber in Minden again. No comparison to the tuber in Bünde and Herford!!!

Food is good, unfortunately it took a while until the food was served but the restaurant was also very full.

I was there for practice. When I called they answered very kindly. The 2nd shift chef was very kind to me and kindly signed the papers. I ended up on the 1st shift. There was the 1st shift boss and her assistant. The restaurant is popular and the food and drinks there are delicious. I liked it there, maybe I’ll come back to practice again

“The Knolle” has been known in Minden for a long time. In addition to a very comprehensive menu (vegetarian, meat, fish, etc.), there are plenty of ribs there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On these days you should arrive early or make a reservation. Overall, “Die Knolle” is a restaurant that you can visit often.

Man reserviert und bekommt leider einen Platz direkt in der Mitte des Restaurants, während andere Gäste ohne Reservierung einen Platz freier Auswahl bekommen, der wesentlich angenehmer zum sitzen war,als bei uns. (3 Personen) Die Stühle und Polster könnte man definitiv mal mal neu beziehen la6. Zum sitzen ist es einfach zu hart am Hintern. Die Toiletten könnten auch mal erneuert werden, alles sehr altbacken. Essen war top, wirklich super aber im Restaurant könnte einiges mal gemacht werden. Den Kellner fand ich persönlich zu aufdringlich, nett war er aber natürlich.

Portionen sehr groß, aber bei allen von uns leider sehr geschmacksneutral

Für Veganer nur einen Salat mit veganem Chicken auf der Karte, auf Nachfrage war auch nichts anderes machbar

Wir waren mit 4 Personen am 1. Weihnachtstag in der Knolle. Obwohl es sehr gut besucht war, haben wir schon nach kurzer Wartezeit unser Essen bekommen. Die Portionen waren ordentlich und es war sehr lecker. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Als kleine Weihnachtsüberraschung gab es für jeden Gast beim bezahlen einen Gutschein über 7,50€ für den nächsten Restaurantbesuch. Wir haben uns darüber sehr gefreut und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Immer wieder die Schwaben Pfanne! Eine absolute Empfehlung. Service immer sehr flott und freundlich.

Hatten wie immer sehr gutes Essen. Zudem sind wir in den Genuss gekommen einen eigenen Raum für die ganze Familienbande zu bekommen. Tolles Ambiente, schneller Service. Kleine Kritik: Auch unter Stress sollte man als Servicekraft mindestens ein kleines Lächeln im Gesicht haben. Fördert die Trinkgeldtasche. 😉

Gerne gehe ich dort mit meinem ehem. Mitarbeiter dort zum Mittagessen hin. Die Gaststätte ist sehr urig aber gut. Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet und was auch ganz wichtig ist, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das alles ist auch jetzt noch aktuell 👍🏻

Wir hatten ein Mindener Pfännchen bestellt welches 3 kleine Schweinemedaillons, frische Champions, Gemüse und Bratkoffeln enthält. Wir bekamen teilweise sehr dunkle aber auch sehr helle Bratkartoffel und Gemüse sowie 2 Schweinemedaillons und 1 sehr trockenes Stück Hühnerbrust. Bei anschließender Beschwerde hieß es, da kann ich auch nichts für. Beim Nachtisch, Apfelscheiben in Bierteig gab es immer 3 Scheiben. Diesmal nur 2. Auch hier habe ich nachgefragt und bekam zur Antwort dass es nur 3 gibt wenn der Apfel klein ist. Also alles im Ganzen: schwer nachgelassen und leider somit Kundschaft verloren. Schade

Angefangen beim Personal, dass ich als ausgesprochen freundlich und Service orientiert erlebt habe und vor allem Spaß an seinem Job hat, über das ausgesprochen leckere Essen, bisschen zum zum Ambiente: Habe mich hier rundum wohl gefühlt und würde wiederkommen. Trotz des Schmuddelwetters war alles ordentlich sauber. 👍

Ich war nun das zweite Mal dort für Rippchen all you can eat. Leider ist irgendwann der Bauch voll und es passt nichts mehr rein..... Das Essen ist super lecker, Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Vom Ambiente her ist es wirklich ansprechend und gemütlich eingerichtet

Wir hatten unser jährliches Ex-/Kollegentreffen in Minden und waren durch Zufall auf dies Restaurant gestolpert. Obwohl es kurz vor der Mittagspause war , wurden wir herzlich empfangen und konnten auch noch länger sitzen und in Ruhe essen. Alle gewählten Speisen waren sehr lecker und die Portionen waren riesig.

Das Essen war für mich nicht so toll. Die Bratkartoffeln waren schwarz angebrannt und das Schnitzel eher fade. Aber bei den Menschenmassen auch kein Wunder dass die Gerichte Schlag auf Schlag raus müssen. Die Preise sehr hoch wie ich finde. Der Service war hervorragend, danke :)

Uriges und sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Und natürlich, so wie der Name es schon suggeriert, vieles mit Kartoffel... Auch ungewöhnliches... Und alles schmeckt einfach nur großartig! Portionen sind ziemlich üppig, hungrig geht hier jedenfalls keiner raus. Das Personal ist super lieb, extrem zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und schnell. Einfach Top!

I have to say good meat dishes and a buzzy atmosphere. My friends and I liked the Riesling “Trocken”..... German and English translated menus. Sound.

We have been there a few times and always enjoyed the quality of food and service. Food is very tasty and mainly based on potato dishes but other dishes are available. Quality is very good, well cooked and served hot...! Interior is a little dated but has a lot of charm. Only downside: no close by parking but about 5-6 minutes to walk, not a bad thing really as it will help to walk some of the calories.

Die Knolle ist ein Restaurant mit einer umfangreichen Speisekarte. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Kartoffelgerichte. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, bürgerlich. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man auch im Biergarten im Innenhof. Die täglich wechselnden Mittagsgerichte sind gut und preiswert.

Ottima Kartoffel house ai margini del centro di Minden. Locale molto simpatico, buon servizio e menù anche in lingua inglese, molto apprezzato. Ottimi i piatti a base di carne e patate, prezzi onesti.

The KNOLLE is on the edge of the city centre but well worth searching out. Plenty of tables in rustic surroundings and attentive staff. Menu available in English and it has plenty of choice. Beer and wine also good. Portions are generally large, tasty and reasonably priced. French onion soup was very nice, schnitzel, ribs excellent.

Ich war schon mehrfach dort. Die Bedienung, immer freundlich mit Spaß an der Arbeit. Das Essen optisch ansprechend, völlig ausreichend, sehr lecker. Dienstags und Donnerstags ist Rippchen-Tag. Die sind dort sehr sehr gut. Die Hygiene einwandfrei. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Hinterhof den man auch mit dem Rollstuhl gut erreichen kann da sie über eine Rampe verfügen die dann eben einfach platziert wird. Ich werde mich immer wieder dort einfinden. Im Sommer kann man dann im Anschluss an einer der vielen Strandbars entlang der Weser den Sonnenuntergang geniessen. :-)
