Exactly what I expect from a buffet restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant, so you don't feel like you're in a train station like at some other buffets, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. I'm really happy we discovered this place and I always enjoy going there. Highly recommended! 😊👍

The food was very tasty and fresh. The staff was also okay. For two adults and a five-year-old child, plus three drinks, we paid just under €75. There was more than enough food, though. But the indoor playground was a joke! Zero points for that! It was an old slide!

Good selection and something for everyone

When we go out for a buffet, we always go to Gourmet Palast, because you can't go wrong there. Cleanliness is top-notch, friendliness is top-notch, and the food is top-notch. There's something for everyone! 👌 I highly recommend it. Looking forward to seeing you again soon! 😊👍

It's been ages since we've been there. The food was inedible, cold, and there was absolutely no choice. What used to be so great is now a disaster. Never again; they've deteriorated considerably...

We were there at 8 p.m. The buffet was being picked, and within a few minutes everything was gone because there were still a lot of visitors there, but after that, nothing was picked up anymore. We weren't informed that nothing would be picked up anymore, and then we still had to pay the full price. It's a disgrace.

We went there for dinner for the first time in a long time and were unfortunately disappointed. The staff were very friendly and quick, and the restaurant was clean. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible. Some of the food was lukewarm at best, tasted nothing special, rather poor as at any fast food restaurant, and the quality of some of the food seemed to be a little out of date. There was also hardly any choice for vegetarians. The sushi and raw fish didn't smell fresh. The "fresh" meat was also inedible after cooking and tasted spoiled. Everyone had stomach upsets for a while after eating. We definitely won't be going back, as the quality and value for money are absolutely not good. Unfortunately, this was our last visit.

No, there are far better Chinese restaurants. While it's very clean and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, the food is rather bland and mostly cold.

This was my second visit – and unfortunately, I was disappointed again. The first thing I noticed during the meal was that the duck was partly raw, the chicken was far too soft, and the noodles were disappointing in taste. Shortly afterward, I felt extremely ill – I've never felt so bad after a restaurant visit. The staff were nice, but unfortunately, they were far too pushy. I wanted to give the place a second chance, but that was a mistake.

Food was good. Saw them cleaning the buffet table often and mixing the food. Everything is labeled in English and German. There are a few dishes for vegetarians. Cost is 16.90e. Table service is great. Wish they had a tofu dish. Plenty of parking.

I went for dinner on a Tuesday. I'd already eaten there in the spring, and the food was very good. Unfortunately, this time it was disappointing. The soup was bland and old. The buffet was pretty empty, and there was no meat. The taste was also just below average.

Honestly i can’t properly describe the depths of how disappointed i am by this buffet. Nothing i tried was edible. the fish had a gelatin goo under the breading with 20%of actual fish. the chicken strips doesn’t even feel like chicken and was super salty like most of their foods. All the meats were very questionable looking and even tasting. the grill meats sitting out looked slimy and ill colored. Sweet and sour sauce here is apparently tomato soup. My husband and I arrived, ordered drinks, and made our plates. We took bites of everything and couldn’t find one thing worth swallowing. I believe we only stayed in the restaurant for 10 minutes. we decided to leave immediately, and we were still charged 58 € for crap. I at least expected them to bill us half off, but just decided to not start anything , pay, and just leave. I Do not recommend.

The selection was surprisingly good, delicious, and clean. Luckily, I didn't see the labels until the second time. It's practically part of the food, but the execution was adequate.

Good food with some surprising ingredients, such as chicken liver (very tasty!). Points deducted for the lack of the Eight Treasures, which is usually my point of comparison. Nevertheless, I have to say that our Chinese restaurant in the neighboring town is cheaper and far better. The service was very attentive, at least when it came to clearing empty plates. Drinks were treated rather secondary, which is a bit annoying in these hot temperatures. Conclusion: You can certainly treat yourself to the Gourmet Palace, but there are better alternatives.

We were there on a Saturday evening, and suddenly a mouse ran around. A guest reported this to a worker, who seemed surprised, but wasn't really surprised. We've been there several times before, and the food was delicious. The servers are prompt and friendly, but if there's no tip, the mood changes. The furniture is a bit dated, as is the children's playroom, which doesn't offer much. Unfortunately, parking is usually difficult there. Prices have increased in recent years, but the quality has declined. For example, fried shrimp use canned or frozen vegetables instead of fresh ones like years ago. Addendum: Thank you for the reply, but NO. It was your restaurant. I can still remember clearly how one of your employees told an employee from Fressnapf that she shouldn't approach her customers about parking.

€5 for a 0.4l apple juice spritzer. Ridiculous. The food is a standard buffet, with a slimmed-down lunch menu for €21.60 on Saturdays and €16.90 during the week – I don't see any reason to raise the price since it's Saturday.

Yesterday I ate there with a friend... and I have to say, it's by far the best Chinese restaurant in Kaiserslautern. The food was excellent and, above all, hot. We were there at lunch... and the selection was still quite large, and, above all, the food was always replenished promptly. The sushi and desserts were also delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is very friendly, and the restrooms are very clean. And on top of that, they're the cheapest at the all-you-can-eat buffet... and they also have the best food. A restaurant I can recommend💪🙂

Too expensive for such a meal. We paid €60 for an adult and a child (10 years old) for a buffet and had to pay the adult price for the child. I don't think that's right! The food isn't particularly good either. Most of the food is only lukewarm, not hot. I think you can eat better elsewhere for the money.

Hello everyone, Unfortunately I can't leave a good review. We were there on May 10, 25. All u can eat. The first round was cold, that can happen, but unfortunately the food was really not good. The potatoes taste a lot like Maggie. On the whole, the taste of the food wasn't that good and the selection was quite clear. The scope is a complete disaster. There is talk of building blocks, robots, books, etc. on the Internet. The room does have a slide as described, but otherwise it is very run down and shabby. The toilets and general hygiene are not the best now. Lots of dust and dirt, for example under the table in front of the toilet door. Some plates were dirty. I wish I could say otherwise, but that was the case during our visit there. The staff are friendly and we liked that it was relatively large and not too crowded. But there will definitely not be another visit. We paid almost 70 euros for 2 adults and 2 children and couldn't eat well at all.

Food is decent for a buffet, but the thing that made me never want to come here again is when i finished and went to pay. My total was 34€ and i gave 40€. The lady that was at the register half refused to give me change and when i did finally get it, she kept her hand out saying "what, no tip? Ok then, thats rude". Dont EXPECT to be tipped with an attitude like that

I dont typically leave reviews, but others should know the drawbacks of this restaurant. My family dined here on a Saturday afternoon at about 3 pm. The restaurant appeared to be clean and not musky, like lots of other Chinese buffets. The food is terribly salty, not just one or two items, but everything I tried, from fried dumplings to sautéed vegetables and even Thai curry. The vegetables were fresh cut, but the meats each had a spongy texture. I didn't try the meats for the Mongolian grill because they didn't look safe. The beef had a glazed texture similar to how chicken would look. The Kangaroo looked like beef, which may have been ok, but I opted not to try it. I didn't try the chicken solely because of the appearance of the beef. My wife tried the Mongolian shrimp and crayfish. She said the shrimp tasted like shrimp, and likewise for the crayfish. Although, one crayfish that she peeled was black inside, and obviously not safe to eat. Additionally, the restaurant allows smoking immediately outside of the front door, which blew cigarette smoke inside the restaurant non-stop on the day we ate because there were non-stop smokers for our entire dining experience. I realize this part is petty and may not affect others as much. In summary, this is a typical Chinese buffet, but it's overpriced (€23.90 each person) for the extremely salty dishes being offered. Other recommendations for the area are: Alom Dee Royal Aroma Milano Fiesta Mexicano Farmers Restaurant And even Brauhaus If you like any of the above restaurants, go ahead and skip Gourmet Palast because it's not on the same level as either of the aforementioned restaurants.

Actually, I very rarely write reviews. Since my husband and I are enthusiastic about the Gourmet Palast, we would definitely like to pass on our experience. Of course there are different tastes, and that's a good thing. You can't please everyone. We have been visiting the restaurant for several years. Saturday lunch buffet. We were always served very attentively and friendly. The rooms are clean and the decoration is not tacky. We are overwhelmed by the food. Lots of choice, with different types of meat, vegetarians will definitely get their money's worth here too. The dessert is also very diverse. Ice cream, cake, fruit… Depending on which day you come, you can also have different types of fish, shrimp (see 2 pictures) + different types of meat freshly grilled. Included in the price of the buffet. Would you like to grill some things, just meat, vegetables, etc. Place on the plate, attach the metal clamp from the table to the plate, place on the grill. After a short time, the whole thing is brought to the table. E.g. Sat. Drinks included + additional payment on Sundays. The special thing is that everything has its own taste. Not like we have already experienced, where differently prepared dishes taste similar without a highlight. There, we feel, we have freshly prepared dishes such as fresh mushrooms, etc. Your own lightly spiced taste. We drive 110 minutes once a week as best we can to eat here. Almost an addiction 😅. We tried a few other Chinese restaurants. But at least we didn't find this taste experience again. There are free parking spaces outside. If you're nearby, just give it a try. Fresh ingredients, attentive, friendly staff including the boss. We still have to mention that. What more could you want?! LG A + G 💝 —- Another update today… 😉 Meanwhile at the end of March 2025. “We can no longer do without...” In the meantime we still come and enjoy the food every week as best we can. If you like large buffets, this is the place for you. For a good price you get a huge selection of cooked dishes or you can put together plates with raw ingredients, hand them over to the grill manager to prepare and then the very friendly service staff will bring it to the table. There is a large selection of fish, seafood, meat etc.

We were guests yesterday and after ordering the drinks they were brought directly to us. The buffet was always filled up and as soon as something was empty it was filled up straight away. Very friendly staff, children's high chairs and children's playroom Food was warm and tasty

Let's start with the food, which is absolutely top every time we visit. The buffet is always checked and refilled if necessary. The products for the grill are also very fresh. Therefore, the food is absolutely recommended. Attention, of course, this is a buffet restaurant! There is nothing wrong with the staff either. Always friendly and keeping an eye on the tables to clear empty plates or ask for drinks. There is a deduction in the ambience, on the one hand the furniture is already badly damaged, especially the chairs should perhaps be replaced. And you should also keep an eye on the toilets, especially when there is a lot going on.

Went to the Gourmet Palace for the first time today. The ambience is nice, but the mass processing has left its mark, which is difficult to see from the chairs. I have to say that the food was okay. The taste isn't quite what you'd hope for. The chicken curry tasted like nothing, the (egg) noodles were prepared very simply with onions, and the peanut sauce dissolved into its components in the bowl after 10 minutes. The sushi plate(s) were sparsely stocked with a selection. However, the grill for freshly prepared food is something that not everyone has. Overall, it gives me the impression of "quantity instead of class" The dessert buffet was more than enough for me. The operating staff was very friendly but finished everything very quickly. I think it was the first and last time.

An "all you want" restaurant. Very nice atmosphere of the place, a Chinese restaurant, but various dishes. A one-time fee, thanks to which you can eat what you want and as much as you want. You can start with a savory dinner and end with sweets such as ice cream, cakes and sweet fruit. Personally, I've tried a little bit of everything.

Not particularly impressed with this place anymore! Since Covid the quality of the food has gone downhill, along with expensive drinks it is no longer appealing.

Food was ok. Had a variety of dishes but none of the signature dishes I was looking for like sesame chicken, orange chicken, wontons, etc. customer service was great. However, definitely don’t want to go back. Price was roughly 17 euros for lunch.
