L´Osteria Köln Zollhafen in Köln

The pizza was, as in all L'Osterias, excellent. The pasta was cooked way too soft and there wasn't enough Bolognese on the pasta. The ambience was nice. Not too loud, like in many other L'Osterias. The toilets were a complete disaster. Both the women's and men's toilets were completely dirty. Feces on the flush plate of the toilet - just disgusting. The wastebaskets in both toilets were overflowing with paper and the paper dispensers were empty. No one in charge has looked in here for a long time. The service was friendly but subpar. None of the service staff were attentive. Even when ordering drinks for the first time, we had to draw attention to ourselves several times, even though the restaurant was sparsely attended. The waitresses stood chatting at the bar and didn't see us, despite waving. The L'Osteria at Rheinauhafen obviously has very bad management that simply doesn't have the place under control. The restaurant is not recommended. We're never going there again. Luckily there are other L'Osterias in Cologne.

If you have half a pizza, each half is different, the more expensive half will be charged for the whole pizza. So far so good, but the topping from the cheaper half is also added to the more expensive half. Absolute impudence. Are totally mad.

My first visit to a restaurant from this chain. The selection at brunch was wide and varied; the pizza with the very thin base and the pasta dishes were very good. I would have liked a little more salad selection, but I eat almost anything whose origin is recognizable. The service staff were friendly and the atmosphere was extremely quiet for the size of the restaurant!

A workplace that does not provide service and expects tips. It is also the place where perhaps the worst pizza in the world is made, with burnt dough and few toppings to make the edges dry and thin.

A nice restaurant with great decor and tasty food. Inexpensive and enough variety to satisfy us all. The only bad thing that left us disgruntled was being presented with a bill that wasn't itemised on the card machine. I dislike being co-erced into paying without being able to check.

The food is really just run of the mill. I had the daily special today because the description sounded very good. However, I didn't see any of the carrots, zucchini, etc. described in my pasta. It was just pasta in a tasteless tomato sauce with dry chicken strips. The description in the card had nothing to do with it. I was then allowed to pay 13 euros for this. Price performance has not been right in the LOsteria for a long time. It was definitely better before, the quality has deteriorated significantly.

We were greeted very friendly. The food was very tasty and the ambience was very nice. The waiters were sometimes not visible. Unfortunately, my meal, a salami pizza, came much later than the other family members' meals. They were almost ready when I started eating. There was no toilet paper in the women's toilets. All in all, we were still satisfied.

We are actually visitors who like to visit this chain, but we will no longer visit this location, the reason is easily explained: Cleanliness really bothered us, the tables were empty at the opening on October 3rd. Totally dirty, several visitors had to point it out to the staff, the windows facing the harbor were so dirty and greasy that you could hardly see through them. We also find the prices for the drinks, or for the latte macchiato, this small glass more than too expensive. As far as the food is concerned, we have nothing to complain about; it was and still is great.

There were cobwebs on the lamps, which isn't so nice over the food. The service had to smell our schnapps so that he knew what he had on the tray. That's why not quite as many stars this time.

L'Osteria Köln Zollhafen is beautifully located. A great atmosphere and a very large and spacious restaurant. The staff is very attentive and incredibly friendly. The food is generous and of known excellent quality.

Today we sat here and were approached in a very unprofessional manner by a female waitress in a black suit. That was very inappropriate. It's a shame because the location was really nice.

Went to your place for breakfast yesterday. Service and kitchen crew were very friendly. The bald gentleman at the bar was the only one who looked out of character. When I asked whether we could get another cup for the cafe or a spoon for dessert, he was very annoyed and stroppy in his tone. Maybe direct customer contact isn't for you and you should stay away from such events. The food was good and everything else was fine. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I got the wrong food, but the main ingredient for the real salad was delivered later. The restaurant itself has seen better days, especially the toilets seemed very worn out. We sat right next to the kitchen, which made it quite loud.

Man muss wissen, dass L' Osteria eine Convenience Food Kette ist. Dort arbeiten keine Italiener und es werden auch keine italienischen Gerichte serviert, sondern nur Essen, wie Deutsche sich Italienisches Essen vorstellen. Demnach gibt es nur Pasta-Variationen mit Fertigsaucen und schnelle Pizzas. Kein Fisch. Kein Fleisch (und somit auch keine Osteria). Meine Spaghetti Carbonara gingen so. Der Beilagensalat dazu kan nur nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage und war billigster Straßenrandsalat. Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte kamen alles auf einmal. Die Leute dort haben leider einfach keine Ahnung. Service war nett, aber leider etwas überfordert. Geschmacklich identisch lau wie in allen anderen deutschen Filialen. Karte identisch wie z. B. Nürnberg. In letzter Konsequenz ist es nur ein besserer McDonalds. Und teuer noch dazu. Hauptgericht + Getränke + Kinderteller waren gleich ca. 140 Euro. Dafür hätte man in Italien wie ein König gespeist und getrunken. Demnach nur wenn man extrem Hunger hat und alles andere schon zu hat oder zu weit weg ist.

Pizza Fungi Frisch (it's called something similar) tasted very good. The service was quite good. However, the men's toilet was not clean enough as there were a lot of flies and bees there.

Food was super tasty. The location is right next to the Chocolate Museum and the interior is very cozy, but can also be very loud. We had pasta and two pizzas which all tasted good. The service was very good, but you should be patient.

Great location in the customs port. We each ordered a pizza. The edge was pretty burnt. The employee was super friendly and on the ball. Pizza was tasty but for the price you can expect a non-burnt edge.

Good Italian cuisine, pleasant atmosphere - indoors and outdoors, attentive service - you can rarely go wrong with a visit to a L'Osteria! There are dishes and alternatives for every diet type.

I recently spent a wonderful evening there! The restaurant has a modern and cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The Esseni selection is not diverse. The service was friendly and attentive, although at peak times it can take a little longer for the food to be on the table.

Had a meal here with work colleagues and it was tasty and good. Very good average.

I have visited this and other L'Osteria restaurants several times, but until now I didn't want to leave a review because I prefer to write when I like something. However, I think it's also important to give feedback when something isn't going well so that maybe something can change. Unfortunately, I have to say that I have repeatedly noticed in this branch that some of the waiters seem dissatisfied and rude. Not all of them, but unfortunately I had the misfortune of being served by exactly these several times. Every time I have to literally "ask" for the bread on the table, as well as the olive oil, balsamic vinegar or hot oil - things that are often automatically provided by friendly waiters in other branches. Finally, I thought I would give the restaurant another chance and went with my children. My children are old enough to understand when something is wrong and even they were shocked at our waiter's rudeness. When I asked for bread, he brought us two small, dry rolls and placed them on the table, extremely dissatisfied. The food in this restaurant is really delicious, I would like to emphasize that. I also understand that everyone can have a bad day and that the service job is stressful. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that you should behave in a friendly manner towards customers and not give the impression that you are welcoming unwelcome guests into your own four walls.

Also das gute vorneweg: Der Pizzateig ist gut, wenn auch nicht vergleichbar mit wirklichen hochwertigen, richtigen italienischen Pizzen und die frische Pasta ist auch ok. Außerdem ist die Bedienung freundlich und die Weine überrschend gut Aber ansonsten: Den "Pizzabrötchen" - eigentlich war es eine einfache, nicht belegte Pizza, fehlte Geschmack und Gewürze. Die Antipasti hatten Highlights - Burratta, Pesto, eingelegtes Gemüse, aber die Bruschetta waren nicht wirklich angeröstet und auch hier weitgehend gewürzfrei, dazu sehr wenig Vitello und Schinken: für den Preis nicht angemessen Auch die Hauptgerichte waren eher durchschnittlich: Carbonara war - wenn auch mit Sahne (!) - ok, die Orecchiette mit Limone aber extrem sahnelastig, die Rindfleischstreifen eigentlich eher etwas zähe Stücke und insgesamt sehr geschmackslos. Die Pizzen sind groß, aber Größe ist halt nicht alles. Sie waren recht übersichtlich belegt und die Calabrese war zwar wie versprochen scharf, aber das ausschließlich über das hinzugefügte Peperoniöl, was sie sehr fettig machte. Insgesamt nichts, was man wiederholen muss.

Walked into, well onto the terrace of this restaurant and we were greeted by a friendly waiter. Order was taken promptly and food and drinks were delivered equally as quickly. Portions were large, the pizza was huge. Food was of very high quality and good value for money. Service was friendly and attentive. Really nice meal was had in lovely location. Very happy to recommend this restaurant.

I have never encountered such disgusting service anywhere else. The waitress threw the pizza on the table like it was for dogs, they didn’t even bring cutlery, eat with your hands. Long wait to place an order at all. Dirty table and chairs, mountains of dishes. I asked to take away, they brought me a box, I packed the food myself.

It was busy, so service was a little slower (we were often overlooked). The pizza was basically just dough that was rolled extremely thin and therefore seemed unusually large...even my friend was able to eat hers without any problem. There was very little toppings on the seafood pizza...

I would have liked a little more in terms of the location of the restaurant, whether it was the service or the food I'll start from the beginning, there were 4 of us and we all ordered drinks and they were served quickly Then came the food and had the Calzone Pizza Bò It felt empty of the filling and was more dough than anything else, and somehow carelessly prepared and just thrown out Then we had the spaghetti carbonara Unfortunately these tasted cold to lukewarm but were okay Then we had Tortelloni Prosciutto Unfortunately, these were also lukewarm we asked for a spoon for the remaining sauce This was brought to us and was simply dirty, so we called the waitress again and showed her the spoon and asked again for a clean spoon, which was met with a strange look And we still had the Degli Artisti This was actually very good and tasted excellent So last but not least, my conclusion: I probably won't go there to eat again, but I highly recommend it to drink drinks, but unfortunately not for eating, despite the good reviews

Cette "Osteria" n'a que le nom et n'a absolument rien à voir avec une véritable osteria italienne. Honnêtement, nous n'avons pas passé un bon moment. L'accueil a été froid. Le serveur semblait agacé de nous entendre parler italien. D'ailleurs, personne ne parle italien (je ne juge pas, je ne parle pas allemand, mais un resto italien où personne ne parle italien, ça craint...). Niveau nourriture : * L'épaisseur de la pizza se calcule en centièmes de millimètre. Pourtant, le diamètre est très large * Les pâtes étaient trop cuites. ( Sérieusement... Comment peut-on rater une cuisson de pâtes ... ) * Le prix exorbitant de la bouteille d'eau de 0,75 cl. * Bière "italienne" "locale" fabriquée en République tchèque. * Et le serveur encore plus agacé quand j'ai refusé la demande de pourboire mise sous mon nez. Quand tu payes un peu moins de 24euro pour un peu plus de 2litres d'eau plate, c'est frustrant. Cependant, la vue est presque sympa, et la position du restaurant est idéale. Pour le reste, un lieu de restauration sans âme, et sans aucune emotion italienne. --- N'hésitez pas si vous avez besoin d'autres corrections !

Not for beer lovers. The Kölsch was topped up with Trippelbier. If garlic is on the menu, there should also be garlic on the Pizza Marena! The child complains about the food. And actually pasta sauce without any Spice. Absolutely never again! Now that I have received an automatic self-praise response, I would like to report that my female companion preferred to go to a Dixi toilet on the banks of the Rhine after the visit rather than use the one in the restaurant. Really a shame about the lovely Sunday trip.
