In my view the best Indian Restaurant in Paderborn. The restaurant has a slightly high-end ambience, snd the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Their Tandoori marinade tastes excellent. Their Malai Kofta could have been a bit more complex in its flavor. But that‘s a minor point compared to how overall excellent their food tastes. Extra bravo for using paper instead of plastics in their packaging!

Es gab eine sehr gute Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten und die waren auch sehr lecker. Wir haben uns im Ambientes des alten Fachwerks sehr wohl gefühlt. Service war auch super!

I'm torn because, on the one hand, turmeric is really great, the food is tasty and has excellent quality. However, the price is already utopian...If I go out to eat there, I can put up with it, the ambience is nice and if you go out to eat, you are actually already aware of the price level. If I have the food delivered, it's just too expensive for me. Most recently I paid 70 euros for two people and since we were only delivered when the restaurant was closed, we couldn't reach anyone when we noticed that the mango lassi we ordered was missing. This is of course very annoying, especially since this drink is not exactly cheap. Today I ordered again because there was a special price. Nevertheless, I paid 25 euros just for a masala and some papadam with sauce. Without the offer price it would have been 30 euros. I think that's pretty high for an individual. Yes, Indian food is never cheap and you have to pay for good quality, but on the one hand everything should go smoothly (unfortunately the order was poorly packaged and all the sauce spilled out) and on the other hand you don't have to overdo it. Still, I would recommend turmeric because the food is really great. But I would prefer to eat locally. There are better alternatives to delivery. Edit: I increased it to 4 stars because the dealings with customers are really very friendly. We ordered a third time and something was forgotten, but when I called they apologized several times and refunded me the money, including the money for the missing mango lassi, even though that was a long time ago. This is how you do it👍🏻

Since this was my third time there, I would like to say something! I can absolutely understand that you should definitely make a reservation (preferably 2-3 weeks in advance). You come in to a very nice guest room in a half-timbered house. Despite the fact that there is no free chair, you can have a conversation in a normal, calm tone and it is a very pleasant atmosphere. The service takes the time to explain the dishes in detail, so that no one has to wait for their dish or order. The guys are super nice, polite and attentive! We got advice about the spiciness beforehand and what came to the table was simply great. From the starter to the main course to the mango lassi. Das Kurkuma 400° eine Perle hübsch verpackt in einem alten Fachwerkhaus. Schon wenn man das Restaurant betritt wird man freundlich von der sehr (sehr) netten Servicekraft empfangen. Das Ambiente stimmt, alles in dunklen Tönen gehalten und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Speisenauswahl ist hervorragend , da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Geschmacklich ist es unserer Meinung nach nicht zu toppen. So stellt man sich vor indisch zu essen. Preislich bewegt sich alles in einem normalen und angemessenen Rahmen. Für Uns eine wirkliche Bereicherung der Küche in Paderborn. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

The quality of the ingredients was noticeable and the flavors harmonized perfectly. No matter whether it was a starter, main course or dessert – everything was a pleasure! We were lucky enough to get a table today without a reservation, but only because we were there so early... the food was very tasty, portions were just right, but there was no room for starters or dessert. Drinks also great. Service very attentive. We didn't miss anything. We'd love to come back. And could also take our children who are vegan, as there is enough choice for every taste.

The Turmeric 400° impresses as soon as you enter the restaurant. A very tidy, modern and quiet restaurant. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant - you can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into the well-being of their guests (acoustic ceiling, some distance between the tables, quiet atmosphere, etc.). There are no intrusive room scents, no classic Indian decorations or the like - the only thing that counts here is the service and the enjoyment experience. The waiter is not above explaining the food being served - not only what it is, but also how it is prepared AND WHY IT IS PREPARED THAT WAY!!! Lonely peak. A good restaurant is characterized by being always busy. However, the Turmeric 400° is characterized by much more than “just” having a full guest room. If you have the opportunity to talk to the operators, do so - because they not only love your restaurant, THEY LIVE IT!!! I will definitely come back, even if I have to travel over 4 hours! Da wir nicht sehr häufig Indisch essen gehen, ist uns erst jetzt aufgefallen, dass dies offenbar auch in Schloss Neuhaus möglich ist, und zwar schon seit mehr als 2 Jahren. Nur durch Zufall sind wir auf die schön gestaltete Homepage gestoßen, die Lust macht dort einzukehren. Dort angekommen bestätigte sich der im Netz gewonnene professionelle Eindruck sofort: Das Ambiente in dem alten Fachwerkhaus ist sehr einladend und gemütlich, von der Farbgestaltung, dem stimmigen Lichtkonzept bis zur Auswahl des Mobiliars. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, neu eintreffende Gäste werden sofort aufmerksam wahrgenommen. Für ein Essen zu zweit, im Freundeskreis aber auch mit der Familie oder Kollegen bestens geeignet. Die Speisekarte ist toll zusammengestellt: Mit bedacht ausgewählte Gerichte für wirklich jeden Geschmack sind übersichtlich und nicht überladen zusammengestellt. Gleiches gilt für die Getränkeauswahl. Und das Wichtigste: Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker! Alles ist super frisch, aus hochwertigen Zutaten und frischen Gewürzen geschmacklich sehr harmonisch und ausgewogen zubereitet; dazu noch auf wunderschönem Geschirr attraktiv präsentiert und angerichtet. Mild für alle, die es nicht so scharf mögen, scharf für alle, denen scharf lieber ist. Möglich machen das die Mitarbeiter des Hauses: Vier Köche aus Indien, die offenbar genau wissen, was sie tun, und sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Servicekräfte, die ihren Job dort definitiv lieben, was man als Gast sofort spürt. Verantwortlich dafür ist letztlich der Chef des Hauses, dessen Hingabe und Liebe zu dem Lokal sich sowohl auf die Mitarbeiter als auch auf die Gäste überträgt. Es war ein wunderbarer Abend mit unvergleichlichen kulinarischen Genüssen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Die Fahrt dorthin ist jeden Kilometer wert. I'll summarize what we, me and a couple of friends, experienced yesterday. A very inviting, modern restaurant with an outdoor area. Despite the large footprint, the tables are sufficiently spaced, very friendly staff, a young employee gave us detailed advice. And the food? What should I write? It topped everything before! A finely tuned taste explosion. The typical Indian spices went together perfectly and the main components were still tasty. The vegetables were al dente and everything just fit together harmoniously. Conclusion: A culinary experience that I enjoyed very much.

I recently went to Turmeric 400° and had a very disappointing experience. Despite the high prices, service was extremely slow. We waited an amazing 1.5 hours to receive our food after ordering which is unacceptable. The food itself was anything but impressive. Compared to other Indian restaurants, the taste was not very convincing and the quantity was also too small. Adding to our frustration was that we ordered two dishes and 2 naan but only received one pot of rice. Normally you get a separate pot of rice or naan for each dish you order, but that wasn't the case here. The final straw was the bill. According to the menu our meal should have cost €64 but we were charged €71.50. This inflated price was not justified and when we brought it up the staff were unhelpful. Overall, Turmeric 400° was an expensive disappointment with poor service and substandard food. I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality Indian meal. I have visited so many Indian restaurants in Germany and it was a big disappointment.

We drove an extra 70 km to get real Indian food. Expectations were correspondingly high. We weren't disappointed. We tried our way across the map. So many different tastes. All preferences were taken into account and could be satisfied. Tip: Let the starter plate mix. We had 46 61 73 24.... Really everything was great. Spicy without overwhelming the other taste senses. Thank you for the great hospitality provided by an incredibly competent and helpful, friendly service. We will be back

We were at Turmeric 400 for the first time today and I can say that we were thrilled. You come to the restaurant which is located in a beautifully restored half-timbered house. When you enter, you are greeted by a very balanced ambience. You will then be greeted personally and friendly by the staff and taken to your seat. The whole ambience radiates a balanced calm and atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and attentive and will advise you when putting together the food and respond to your wishes. Now the main thing is the food. A good point in the menu was that every dish had additional vegetarian and vegan information so that everyone could find something. The food tasted and looked very nice and tasty. The spices were very authentic and tasteful. The waiters were always attentive and even the boss came to our table and we had a great conversation. It was definitely not the last time at Turmeric 400 and we are already planning the next visit.

Das Restaurant hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und strahlt etwas aus, was man sonst nicht so kennt. Vor allem ist es toll, dass man hier aufgrund der ruhigen und leisen Art des Unterhaltens nicht vom Nachbartisch gestört wird und man selbst eine eher leisere und angenehme Unterhaltung führt. Die Qualität der Speisen kann ich nicht beurteilen da ich den Einkauf nicht kenne. Die Zubereitung der Speisen sind aber spitze und alles ist sehr schmackhaft. Besonders hat uns die aufmerksame und sehr nette Bedienung gefallen, sodass wir uns sehr gut aufgehoben fühlten und die Empfehlungen des Services für die richtige Wahl der Speisen somit auch nutzten . Jetzt kommt es allerdings und das hat sowohl mich als auch meine Begleitung dazu veranlasst dieses Restaurant künftig nicht mehr aufzusuchen. Beim Bezahlen fragte ich die sehr nette Bedienung ob die Bereitschaft des Trinkgeldes allgemein noch vorhanden und angemessen sei. Sie antwortete darauf das es weniger geworden wäre und JETZT KOMMT ES, sie alles abgeben müsse. Darüber waren wir sehr überrascht und auch empört, sodass ich nochmal sehr genau nachfragte und sie diesen für uns unhaltbaren wie unverschämten Zustand sehr befremdlich wahrnahmen. Nach der Begründung fragend antwortete sie uns, dass die dafür frei essen können. Ihre Wahl nachfragend durch uns, würde allerdings klar auf das behalten des Trinkgeldes fallen natürlich auch mit Beteiligung des gesamten für den Service zuständigen Personals inklusive der Küche, also einer gerechten Aufteilung wie es eigentlich allgemein üblich sein sollte. Dies wird wohl von den Betreibern anders gesehen und werde diese noch zusätzlich zu einer Stellungnahme auffordern. Unser Fazit jedenfalls ist, dass wir aufgrund der mangelnden Wertschätzung des Personals, eben auf diesen Umstand hin, dieses Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen werden. Eine Argumentation das man dann dort frei essen könne ist fadenscheinig und nicht hinnehmbar, da offensichtlich dem Service keinerlei Wahl gelassen wird. Wir ärgerten uns im Nachhinein noch, dass wir das angemessene Trinkgeld nicht zurückgefordert haben, da die wirklich nette Dame ja ohnehin nicht in den Genuss kam und sich hier offensichtlich die Geschäftsführung daran lieber „bereichert“ Das war sehr enttäuschend.

We were in the restaurant on the very day that a customs inspection took place. Unfortunately our order was lost and there was a huge chaos. The service staff tried very hard to fix this problem quickly and so we were still able to enjoy our evening. The food is really very tasty, the portions were sufficient although it seemed a bit small to me at first. All in all we were satisfied and would come back at any time.

It was my first time here and certainly not the last time. We received a friendly and friendly welcome, the service was great, nice and friendly. It is a beautiful old half-timbered house, which is also reflected inside. I think it's really great and the decor may not be typically Indian, but I think it's appropriate and I would call it stylish. We felt very comfortable. The order went quite quickly and we didn't really have to wait long for what we ordered. My companion had already been there once and we had to wait quite a long time for food, she said, but yesterday everything was appropriate! Reorders such as drinks or dessert also went well and quickly. The food was top! The meat was super tender and seasoned. At the first bite I also thought, hmm, a bit spicy, but that was no longer the case the next time I ate and it was a pleasant spiciness (for me). The lassi was super tasty, as were the milk balls as a dessert... The portions and the price are appropriate in my opinion. I would love to come back. Only the parking situation is not that great. There are parking spaces behind the house, but everything here quickly fills up and is a bit tight for today's cars. This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to 👍😍. The service was excellent, the whole atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. But the best thing was the food, my mother, daughter and I had 3 different dishes that we each shared, all 3 were excellent.

The restaurant is itself cozy and quiet. Staff are friendly. Variety of food options are available, even vegetarian ones. close to bus stop. I took number 66, chicken highway, it comes with a yogurt.

Food here is authentic to it's roots. Owner comes from India . We had ordered samosa chat, tandoori and mutton mughlai along with mouth watering gulab jamuns. There is nothing to complain or post any negative comment. Unlike other Bangladeshi run Indian restaurants.. I would recommend every one to visit them and satisfy Ur taste buds. It's worth it!
