Das Essen ist fantastisch. Auch als Veganerin komme ich voll auf meine Kosten. Die Atmosphäre ist freundlich und familiär.

Das Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen! Das Essen war total lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. Das Familien geführte Team gibt sich große Mühe, jedoch würde ich vorher reservieren!

Der Service war sehr gut. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Wer ein scharfes Curry möchte, sollte den Kellner bitten, es etwas schärfer zu würzen. Das ist keine Kritik an sich, sondern entspricht einfach nicht dem Schärfegrad britischer Curry-Restaurants. Empfehlung: 8/10

Uns hat die gute und gut überschaubare Karte als Familie gefallen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und Preis Leistung passt. Man muss aber reservieren, da man sonst keinen Platz bekommt.

We are familiar with Indian cuisine and have visited many Indian restaurants in the area. The Kumar family provides fresh, hand-selected spices daily, complemented by a professionally run kitchen overseen by the chef himself! Simply superb!

Everything was perfect as always – but today with a big change for us: it was our first restaurant visit with our newborn daughter. After briefly announcing our visit beforehand via WhatsApp (number on the website), we were given a wonderful experience with a quieter table and a safe place for the baby carrier. As always, our every need was anticipated, and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to the next time :) PS: I forgot to add a tip when paying by card – next time, I promise!

Unfortunately, we don't visit Paderborn often, but when we do, a visit to this restaurant is a must. The food is fantastic and the service is super friendly.

We sat comfortably outside, and the food was extremely delicious. The selection and menu were very extensive. We ordered more rice (free) because our meat dishes came with a lot of sauce. The value for money is good, and the staff is very calm and friendly.

There were four of us there. The prices are absolutely fair. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is super attentive and there at exactly the right time. Not intrusive, but you feel cared for. We sat outside, and after a while the sun got very low, blinding me. The staff apologized and offered me another table on their own, even though I didn't even need it. We'd love to come back ☺️

We had a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The menu is very interesting. The service was very friendly and attentive. Since the weather was nice, we sat on the sun-protected terrace. If we lived nearby, we would certainly be regulars. Thank you for the lovely evening.

An unexpected delight! Our original destination was closed, so we stopped in spontaneously. We had three different main courses, plus roti and two desserts. Everything was simply delicious, especially my vindaloo. We'll definitely be back.

Went here with a few friends and I really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and the naan is amazing. What is an important plus point is that card payments work without any problems. No matter which card! I was able to pay with my Visa card without any problems. The ambience is relaxed and Indian, it is also an Indian restaurant😉 Clear recommendation as it is the best Indian restaurant in Paderborn.

Try the Lamb Biryani, ask for it spicy and you won't be disappointed!

We've been there several times now and it's still our absolute favorite restaurant, even though we have to drive 45 minutes each time. The speed and attentiveness of the service as well as the dishes themselves are simply unbeatable, especially for the price. Every time again.

The indian lady doesn’t have any manners to talk. The quantity of food was very less and poor taste. Not recommended

War das erste Mal mit einer Freundin dort. Ich bin nicht so bewandert in den indischen Gerichten, wurde beraten. Lediglich ein Sternchen Abzug, weil mir hier ein wenig die Gemütlichkeit fehlt. Bis auf einen kleinen seperaten Raum, in dem man auf Kissen sitzen kann, was für mich indisch ausmacht, fehlt mir etwas das indische Flair. Damit meine ich nicht die Sitzkissen, die sind nichts mehr für mich 😄Dieses soll jedoch nicht über den hervorragenden Service und dem Essen stehen. Dafür gebe ich 5* . War inzwischen auch nochmal mit meinem Mann dort.

Kein Schicki-Micki, Sehr gute Speisen, scharf bedeutet hier wirklich scharf, Wartezeit war okay, wir haben draußen, im Freisitz, gesessen, Tische waren sauber und gepflegt. Sitze bequem, zwei Sorten alkoholfreies Bier, (da kann man als Autofahrer nicht meckern), angemessene, bezahlbare Preise! Daher von unserer Seite eine Empfehlung .

Food was quite good, unfortunately the order was different than what came to the table. I accepted this in order to eat together. Unfortunately, the dishes at the table were also swapped, which was a problem with very spicy versus peanut sauce... Otherwise okay, not outstanding but OK so far

Always an experience of culinary delights and Indian hospitality. We feel very comfortable here and are always happy to eat here with friends. Great dishes with meat or fish - always a pleasure even vegetarian or vegan! I'm rarely thrilled, but here we're always thrilled. You can tell that the dishes were prepared with attention to detail! My tip: mixed grill.

Very good price-performance ratio. There were four of us eating. Three of us had plain rice, one had fried rice. Plus curry. At the beginning, the three of us were served a large bowl that was relatively drafty and empty. Rice was brought to us again at no additional cost. We were also given three different dips with several slices of bread, which was similar to salted crispbread with caraway seeds. The plates for the main course came to the table warmed up and the rest came relatively quickly too. We ordered curry with the rice. With duck, lamb and chicken. The meat was tender and the flavor was well balanced. The quantity was completely sufficient for us. I would recommend the restaurant and would also like to come back myself.

We came here because of the good reviews, but unfortunately the visit turned out to be a complete failure. Let's start with the positive: The food was really great. Unfortunately, that was it. Now for the negative: The service is an absolute disaster. We sat for a good 20 minutes until someone came to take the order. Meanwhile, a couple had sat down at the next table, but they were then moved to make room for a guest. As already mentioned, this (apparently regular) guest arrived a good 20 minutes after us. The cards had been brought to us up to this point, but after that no one came to take the order. At some point our order was taken. A short time later, the regular guest in question already had his food on the table, even though he was there later than us. I was impressed by the portion on the next table, it was very large, but we realized shortly afterwards that the portions apparently only apply to regular guests. At some point my food arrived (I thought), 2 minutes later the food was taken from the table in front of me on the grounds that it was the wrong one. It is not too bad. Two bowls of rice were then served with my (wrong) dish, but two minutes later a waiter took a bowl of rice from our table without comment (!!!) and was served two tables away. The remaining bowl of rice was definitely only for one person, even though there were two of us! When I asked if there was no rice with my colleague's dish, the waitress only replied that she would ask. We are still waiting for an answer today! For 2 people the amount of rice was definitely a joke. Due to the poor service and the long waiting time, we didn't leave a tip. The folder where you put the money was then slammed onto the table with the change by the supposed boss and he retreated offended. Conclusion: Service: 0 stars Food: 4 stars The food was really tasty, but unfortunately the service was worse than bad! Even if the owner is probably making fun of my bad review again (like some of the previous reviews), that doesn't deter me from sharing my experience. I will only order a maximum of Essen 2 Go here. It's a shame, because the food definitely has potential, but unfortunately the service was an absolute disaster!

The service and the atmosphere is very good. Especially, the evening sunset improves the ambience. The mixed appetizer was very tasty as well with samosas and different pakoras. The main courses kofta and the paneer dish was tasty as well. But the breads (rotis) were very thick and didn't taste that good. Even the Palao rice that we ordered just had just too much of peas in it and was tasteless. The food contained too much of baking soda.

Nice little Indian restaurant with delicious Indian dishes, we enjoyed it very well, especially a good spiciness with the Greeks, not too much but not too little either. We'll be back soon.

Absolute world class Indian cuisine!!!

My only critique would be my dish was slightly oversalted and slightly under spiced. Everything else was phenomenal. Lovely, fluffy garlic naan, nice basmati rice, and possibly the tenderest lamb I've ever had. I also treated myself to a beer and mango kulfi. I highly recommend the kulfi. Add to this the best service I've had in Germany and I'm in heaven. Ignore the couple of negative reviews, this place is one of the best. If I didn't live on the other side of the planet I'd be back very soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice service and delicious food in a family atmosphere

It was my first visit to "Goa Curry". The store is quite small and when I visited during the week there were only a few spaces left. A reservation definitely makes sense here! Since the guest room only consists of 1 large room, the noise level is quite high. The tables are pretty close to each other, which makes the whole thing even more impressive. We were welcomed very warmly and extremely friendly by the staff!! I would definitely like to emphasize this here because I felt well looked after throughout the evening. There were three of us and I tried all the different dishes. Everything was delicious and I can highly recommend it! We also had the lentil waffles with the different dips, which also tasted good. All in all, I can highly recommend the Goa Curry!

Once again in Goa, still impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the very good food and the acceptable prices.

How times change... I'm super disappointed with the reaction because we've canceled a table in time once in 10 years... I'll never go there again... It can happen that quickly... There are plenty of other equivalent restaurants ... We have known Goa Curry and the lovely family that runs this restaurant since its early beginnings. We went there to eat almost twice a week for a very long time and always recommended it to our friends and relatives and still do today. Admittedly, after the renovation some time ago, the rooms have lost some of their original charm, but you can still feel the love and authenticity with which the dishes are prepared. We used to know practically every restaurant, pizzaria, snack bar and burger joint and ate there too - the Goa Curry is still my favorite to this day. It's worth a visit, just convince yourself of the location, the food and the great people, nothing is fake, nothing is fake, they are always friendly, nice and accommodating. We always spend a very nice and pleasant time there.

We have tried chicken Korma and chicken vandaloo. Chicken korma was good. Chicken Vandaloo was awful. I Suspect they used the the store brought vandaloo curry paste and pour a ton of chilly on it.

We accidentally found this place . But Exceptional food and service! One of the best indian Restaurant if not one of the best Restaurant in Germany! The staff is extremely caring and really great service skills. And the food is brilliant! The biriyani and butter chicken was flawless . Taste is truly authentic so job well done chefs! Atmosphere was also great and highly recommended for anyone looking for a good indian food out there. Coming back there for sure! Only down side is parking other than that everything is perfect!

Disappointing experience due to overly salty food and unresponsive service. Despite requesting a replacement, our concerns were not addressed. Would hesitate to recommend. My Reply: Well, at least you agree it was salty now. The portion we gave you to check was almost 3/4 full. Maybe someone should taste it before claiming it's too salty,, My bad!!! As for the free food, hahaha, We paid you for your "free salt." We are students and want to spend a peaceful evening. So didn't wanna fight with you there. Ended up wasting the rest of the food. This is just a reminder for everyone to check everything before eating, or You might end up being tagged as "free food guys," too.
