Indian Palace in Paderborn

The food was very good as always

We were at the Indian Palace in the early evening. A reservation is definitely a good idea. Our dog was warmly welcomed and was no exception (thanks for that!). The attached delivery service does cause some disturbance, but it's not particularly disruptive (at this time of day).

Yesterday, I ordered takeaway food from here via Lieferando. The food was prepared on time and the staff was very friendly, leaving a positive first impression. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is also very inviting.

We ordered Shahi Paneer and Palak Paneer because they're our favorite dishes. Neither was quite to our taste, but they were okay. What blew us away, however, was the garlic naan; it was truly perfect! The shop is also beautifully decorated; we felt at home. :)

Upon entering, you're greeted by a scent as if you were standing in an Indian bazaar. We've been there and we'd love to come back. There's nothing that wasn't good. Perhaps the chicken that came in the hot pan was a bit dry after a while, but that was also due to the portion size. What can I say... not sure if it's for you? Go there, you won't be disappointed.

The best authentic Indian dishes! Enjoy with family and friends! Must-try: rice pudding, chicken karai, and naan. The rice and mango lassi were also delicious! 👍👍

I spontaneously went there yesterday with my brother. We received extremely friendly and courteous service. Even without a reservation, we got the table we wanted. The food was excellent. We particularly appreciated the fact that they accepted card payments. That's a sign of a reputable restaurant. From the greeting to the farewell, everything was wonderful. We highly recommend it and would gladly return.

Everything was delicious. The waiter was very polite and came by often to ask if everything was okay.👍🏻 All portions were large and delicious. The rice was incredibly tasty. We tried Indian cuisine for the first time and we really enjoyed it. We were very satisfied. We were celebrating a birthday and received a dessert from the restaurant as a gift. The restaurant was well filled and even in the entrance area it smelled heavenly of Indian spices. Someone came immediately and welcomed us very friendly and took us to a table. The menu and drinks were there quickly and competent help was provided with the selection of the food. The food came quickly and was very hot. And simply delicious. We were very impressed by the food and the quick service. Even though it was so crowded, no one seemed stressed. Everyone was warm and really quick. Absolute recommendation!

There is a good reason why this restaurant has been around for so many years. The atmosphere is great. The service is very friendly and attentive. The selection of dishes on the menu is extensive and certainly offers something for every taste. The presentation of the food is great and the portions are a good size. Despite the restaurant being busy, no long waiting times. The taste is absolutely excellent and I would happily do so again at any time. Reservations are recommended here.

The food was very tasty. We were there with 3 children and they were also happy with the fries. We sat on cushions in the separate room. The furnishings are cozy and harmonious, but I have to deduct two stars due to very high standards of ambience. Overall, we are satisfied and would love to come back.

We had reserved a table for two people. The reception was friendly and the service professionally escorted us to the table. Ordering went smoothly and the food was served surprisingly quickly (within 5-6 minutes). Unfortunately the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. My vegetarian dish didn't seem fresh or lovingly prepared - it had the character of frozen food. The rice that served as a side dish was also disappointing. My wife's dish (chicken with a side dish) and the two breads (with vegetables and garlic/chilli) were also more of a snack level in terms of taste. For an Indian restaurant I would have expected fresh ingredients and authentic taste. The friendly service, which made every effort to leave a good impression, should be highlighted positively. However, we found it extremely unpleasant that an employee actively asked us to leave a Google review on site by placing a plastic piece on our table. Something like this doesn't leave a good impression, as an evaluation should be authentic and voluntary. Overall our visit was disappointing and unfortunately it is not a restaurant we would recommend or visit again.

I have been ordering and eating here regularly for years. The taste is really the best in Paderborn!! The lunch menu is great in terms of price-performance ratio. It's always clean and the staff is friendly. I can highly recommend it
