Super delicious food and a beautiful view over the Baltic Sea

We were able to celebrate our wedding at the Kurhaus at the weekend. Since the service was so perfect and the food was really delicious, it was a great celebration! Each of the waiters made every effort to read your every wish. There were never any longer waiting times, neither at the buffet nor at the bar! The ambience is just awesome with the beach and the pier in front of the door. We can only thank the team for this fantastic celebration.

Friendly service and great food

Everything was great on the first visit On the second visit a few days later the service was a disaster. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food and our food came when we asked. Because of our complaints, the waitress was through with us and the plates were then placed on the table very listlessly. Luckily another waitress came to collect and was very friendly.

Ich muss mal nach den letzten negativen Bewertungen für dieses Lokal eine Lanze brechen. Die servierten Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft und die Servicekräfte durchweg freundlich! Gut, die Atmosphäre im Lokal glich eher einer Bahnhofshalle, aber unterm Strich zählt doch die Qualität der Gerichte und die war sehr gut ! Generell haben die Preise in den meisten Lokalen, die letzten Jahre massiv angezogen, ob gerechtfertigt steht auf einem anderen Blatt !

Die Bedingungen kam schon unfreundlich rüber, keine sympathische Basis. Wir sind in das Restaurant rein um Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellen, wurden wir erstmal angepappt, wir hätten auch draußen warten können, sie komme dann schon zu uns. Wichtig war im Vordergrund wie wir bezahlen wollen uns das wir dann eben draußen warten sollen, was wir auch dan taten. So nun hab ich 28,40€ gezahlt für 2 Minipizzas, ich bin sprachlos.. soviel Geld für kleine und auch noch nicht mal wirkliche gute Pizzen.. definitiv kommen wir nicht mehr.. sehr schade um das Lokal.

The food in this restaurant is quite okay. But you shouldn't expect anything incredibly special. The ambience, however, is amazing. There is also nothing wrong with the serving staff. Prices are higher depending on the location, but still reasonable.

I'll start from the beginning... We ordered a table for 5 people for 7 p.m., unfortunately there was no table available for 5 people when we arrived at 7 p.m. We then got a table in the hallway and a chair was placed next to it. So far so good. Then we waited a full 20 minutes until we could order drinks. We had also chosen the food in the meantime. It was supposed to be a pizza for the child in the group, unfortunately the pizza order that is on the menu is only accepted from 8 p.m.... It is nowhere clear that you can only order a pizza that is on the menu from 8 p.m.... So there was the first long face... Now to the food, which finally came after an hour. Unfortunately, the pasta with salmon and the plaice with mashed potatoes were anything but hot... In terms of taste, everything wasn't great. The service didn't have a smile on their faces, so you didn't feel particularly welcome. All in all, we will avoid this restaurant in the future. Price/performance is not justified.

It was very tasty, the atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly.

Food is very good. Service was grumpy and food wasn't brought at the same time. If the children are ready 30 minutes before you get your food, it's not very comfortable anymore.

We were well served. The Aperol was well mixed and reasonably priced. We had plaice and salmon and ate it with pleasure. Definitely thumbs up 👍 for people who like to eat fish. If we come to Zingst again, we will stop here in the evening. It is advisable to reserve a seat, especially if you want a seat with a sea view 👌🤩🤤

The food came quickly, was fresh and super tasty. You sit comfortably and the selection is large. Price-performance okay. The staff very friendly. So everything is beautiful!!

Food excellent. We tried more there. Fish, burger, salads, desserts. All without problems. Perhaps only the caesar has a slightly heavier topping... However, the view is nice and the service was nice and very accommodating.

After contacting us via Facebook with some wishes, we were able to have a delicious meal here with our little family on the evening of our wedding. The table was sweetly set/decorated according to the occasion. The promised sea view was fantastic. There was plenty of food, tasty and reasonably priced. We recommend. Toilets were clean. Like other facilities on the Darß, staff now had major problems understanding language. Otherwise highly recommended. Thanks again Ms. J. for the organization ;) Update 2024: Everything is still great. Huge portions, everything was extremely organized with the customer in mind. Thanks. Gladly again.

Simply delicious, whether it's schnitzel or rump steak! The portions are large and the ingredients are fresh and delicious! The staff is very nice and the ambience with the view outside is very nice. Thank you very much, we would love to come back

The staff was so child friendly. Our little daughter ran up and down there and the service was always nice to her. Even the kitchen staff welcomed you warmly when our daughter pressed the foot opener.

Food top. Location is great. Staff very friendly, but waiting time for the food of over an hour is not acceptable for the location.

Very tasty food and decent portions. The fish soup is just great. The restaurant has made a very good catch with the chef. We had dinner there for my husband's birthday and because it was so delicious we went there again the next day. Really recommended. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. We didn't have a reservation and were seated straight away. Guys definitely try the fish soup

Had food there. Unfortunately, the service has no service and the toilets are past their best (to put it nicely). At least the food tasted good.

We went for a dessert & drinks. The restaurant is quite cosy and with a direct sea view. We took a table at the terrace and moved in once it started to rain. I personally did not like the waitress, she looked bored and did not really care if we are good or if we want to order something more. The other waiter was absolutely okay. The food & drinks were okay. The restrooms were clean & payment by car possible. Conclusion: ok to come over, don't expect anything special

Oh, how beautiful is that? You don't expect that on the beach: we were a little hungry and got delicious potato rösti with smoked salmon and a very good currywurst with fries. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely come back here.

Although this restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, the size and height of the premises make you feel like you are in a train station due to the high noise level. Perhaps you could make smaller changes to the rooms, such as reducing the ceiling height or adding smaller "seating islands" or dividing walls. Perhaps an acoustics expert could develop a concept. As I said, the service and quality of the food were top.

Welcome to the Kurhaus restaurant in Zingst an der Seebrücke! Overall, an inviting location that is located directly on the pier and therefore by the sea. With a wonderful sunset, it makes sense to dine here in the evening with a view of the sea - said and done. 😃👍🏼 The location is a bit old, and the hospitality and service is unfortunately only average. You are served and given a table - even without a reservation. But you don't feel welcome as a guest - often only a smile helps. The food, on the other hand, was very good - we can especially recommend the steak and salmon. The view of the beautiful pier and the Baltic Sea at sunset is also uniquely beautiful. So don't be put off by the service and enjoy the food with a beautiful view. Price-performance is fair. We would come back because of the good food and the location and would like to see more work on the friendly and attentive service! Sunny greetings to the north!

Unfortunately, as a guest of the adjacent bars you will be turned away if you want to use the toilet.

Delicious food, attentive service, who immediately recognized us as guests and took care of us, even though it was very busy. We got a table without a reservation. We found all the employees working there to be well trained and very friendly, who enjoy their work. That was very refreshing. The food, zander fillet in a potato coating on braised cucumbers with mustard sauce and plaice fillet with fried potatoes, was freshly prepared and extremely tasty. Good craftsmanship. A slightly longer waiting time was due to the abundance of the restaurant and the fresh preparation of the dishes. But we were happy to accept that for this delicious meal. We will happily go there again. A clear recommendation from us!!

We wanted to enjoy coffee and cake after a long walk on the beach. There was another piece of cheesecake that had probably been waiting there alone for a long time for a guest and Tk strawberry cake. Neither tasted good at all. A waitress (apparently the restaurant or shift manager) shared a phone call with the entire restaurant. Very unpleasant and not exactly conducive to the already uncomfortable atmosphere. She was wearing a worn cardigan and stood out because the rest of the wait staff were very well dressed. Service was very friendly and the view was also very nice. We hoped for more because we are used to better things from Meerlust. Unfortunately, tips could only be given in cash and not paid with a card. You should move with the times a bit. We won't be back and can't recommend the restaurant either.

Zero feel-good factor. Service wasn't worth anything. Food was brought, no questions asked if there was anything else... Nothing... waitresses just stood at the counter and chatted. There were also complaints from neighboring tables. The noodles were tasty and the wine tasted good too. I can't recommend it.

An experience, great service and very good food, recommended to everyone

With the best will in the world! The waiter slams the menus upside down on the table and disappears. The food: over-salted cod, extremely over-salted frozen fried potatoes (barely edible) and drowned salad in vinegar. When clearing away the half-full plates he just asks: ready? We paid the requested amount by card and the service person disappeared without issuing an invoice! We then requested this.

Seven of us spontaneously got a place. The service was nice, food and drinks came quickly. The food was very tasty for everyone. Ample portions.

The food was perfect! The head waitress made a lot of effort to fulfill all of the guests' wishes. The remaining service staff can be expanded.

Despite having made a table reservation several weeks ago, we were snidely assigned a table in the middle of the room where waiters and guests were constantly walking past. When we asked whether we could get the empty table by the window, we were told that it was reserved for guests with a star. Absolute no go! The food that was served later was mostly cold to lukewarm and had a mild taste. With the fish you only tasted the oily breading. Annoyed, the service offered a discount, but that didn't save the evening in a canteen-like atmosphere.

We always enjoy eating there again.

Das Restaurant liegt perfekt an der Seebrücke, somit ist der Ausblick wunderschön! Gerade im Sommer, bei Sonnenuntergang. Wir hatten immer ein Tisch bekommen, dennoch ist vorab besser, man schaut nach evtl. Events! Das Essen ist klasse, vor allem der MILCHREIS mit APFELMUS und ZIMT! 😋😋😋 gegessen haben wir Rindersteak mit Kartoffelpüree und Bandnudeln mit Pesto! Wahnsinnig gut!

The restaurant is perfectly located on the pier, so the view is beautiful! Especially in summer, at sunset. We always got a table, but it's better to check for any events in advance! The food is great, especially the MILK RICE with APPLE MUSH and CINNAMON! 😋😋😋 We ate beef steak with mashed potatoes and tagliatelle with pesto! Insanely good!

Wir waren voll zufrieden. Sehr netter Service und sehr gute Speisen. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und Fisch zum Hauptgericht. Die Fischsuppe war eine der besten, die wir je hatten. Alles war in bester Ordnung und sehr lecker. Ordentliche Weinauswahl, zu angemessenen Preisen. Die Aussicht ist natürlich unbezahlbar. Wenn möglich, Tisch am Fenster reservieren.

An old, outdated atmosphere. If you get a window seat the view is awesome. We were disappointed with the food. The fried fish was definitely not homemade... We're guessing the North Sea (own opinion) when asked, the only answer was... I will forward it. Overall, a not so nice evening.

Bratkartoffeln aus der Tüte, Fisch trocken, Fischsuppe fade, Personal desinteressiert, aber dafür gehobene Preiskategorie. Positiv war die Aussicht, wir kommen aber trotzdem nicht wieder und können das Restaurant auch nicht empfehlen. Wer so einen lustlosen Koch einstellt muss auch Kritik aushalten. Es gibt auch gute Restaurants in Zingst, das konnten wir zum Glück feststellen da sollte man sich an den Bewertungen orientieren.

Unfortunately, one point deducted for the flat seat cushions, so you notice the hard wooden chair and don't want to stay for long. Upholster it or get new seat cushions.

Two mulled wine to go 11.60 (without shot). I thought I wasn't hearing properly. We just laughed and then canceled the mulled wine. Who thinks of such prices ^^

Sehr schönes Restaurant kleine aber feine Karte da sollte jeder was finden! Essen war wirklich sehr gut alles frisch und selbst gemacht. Portion waren groß so das wirklich jeder satt wird. Der Service hätte manchmal etwas besser sein können zb. wurden uns einfach nur alle Karten aufen Tisch gelegt anstatt sie zu verteilen aber ok die Mädels waren trotzdem sehr nett

Wir kamen ins Restaurant ohne vorher reserviert zu haben (Nebensaison). Haben auch gleich einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen. Bis hier alles ok. Bevor wir unsere Jacken überhaupt aufhängen konnten waren die Speisekarten schon auf dem Tisch. T'schuldigung aber da ist irgendwas schief gelaufen. Ich erwarte von einen Restaurant, dass man es sich erst mal bequem macht ( quasi ankommt) durchschnauft und sich dann mit der Speisekarte beschäftigt. Die Bedienung war zwar nett aber bestimmt. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Getränke bekamen wir von einem anderen Kellner, der den Blickkontakt vermied. Auch hier muss ich mich entschuldigen........so ein Verhalten kenn ich nicht.....?!!! Vom Angebot kann ich sagen, dass es für jeden Geschmack etwas gibt. Wobei ich zugeben muss, ob es rein Vegan möglich ist entzieht sich meiner Kenntniss. Das Restaurant schließt um 21 Uhr. Um 19.50 Uhr wurden vier Gäste abgewiesen, mit dem Hinweis, dass gleich geschlossen ist . Hat man es nicht mehr nötig?

Ob Dorsch, Lachs oder Zander, perfektes Fischrestaurant zu guten Preisen!!
