We ate dinner here twice. Both times we were absolutely delighted with the service, the food, and the portion sizes. Everything tasted fantastic, was fresh, and was served promptly. The pasta dish contained a sensational amount of chicken and mushrooms. The fish was fresh, well-seasoned, and tender. The service was quick, polite, and unobtrusive. A highly recommended location right on the beach in beautiful Zingst.

This was our third visit, and we're always amazed by how wonderful it is. The sunset behind the pier is especially beautiful from the window seat. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is very fresh and absolutely delicious (we could hear them tenderizing the schnitzels!). The prices are reasonable for the generous portions and the prime location. Highly recommended!

We were in Zingst today and ate at this fantastic restaurant. We chose pike-perch fillet with fried potatoes and salad. Everything was perfect: the fish was incredibly moist, the fried potatoes were crispy, and the salad had a delicious dressing. Simply divine. Many thanks to the kitchen and service staff.

We went to this restaurant last night after a long, lovely walk. The food was awful. For that price, they could at least make the fried potatoes fresh themselves. Pre-packaged salad from a bag should be washed beforehand and not just thrown into the bowl. The chicken breast strips weren't strips at all, but cubes (also pre-packaged). The fish was completely watery; we assume it was frozen. Basically, we paid too much for what was essentially frozen food, which is also reflected in the less than 10-minute wait from ordering to delivery. Unfortunately, they don't even know how to make cocktails; everything is just thrown together without any care or effort. Overall, we didn't feel comfortable. The restroom was dirty and smelled bad, and we had to find our own toilet paper.

Let's start with the service. The lady who showed us to the table seemed really annoyed. It was a bit like an assembly line. Quick, quick, and the main thing was to get back to the counter and chat with colleagues as quickly as possible. Food: zander with fried potatoes and a salad. The zander, completely tasteless. Nothing crispy fried in butter, no salt, no rosemary, just nothing. The fried potatoes, also unseasoned, and I think they'd been kept warm for a while. Salt, lots of leaf lettuce, a few cucumbers and tomatoes. Carelessly drizzled with balsamic vinegar. The €75 was really too much.

We came here for a small coffee break. But don't think we would come back. Service looked like they were tired and didn't feel like being there. Very touristic for our taste but a nice view.

Better not to go alone with a dog... the table marked "no reservation" wasn't available after I got the menu and realized I was alone... I was waved to from across the dining room: at the bar, in the walkway, I found it a bit too noisy with a dog. I won't be back, even with company.

A homely inn right by the pier and beach. Some rooms have a view of the Baltic Sea. The decor is simple and functional. Whenever we're in Zingst, we eat here at least once. There's a good selection of food and drinks. We've tried several dishes here, and all were delicious and portions were generous. The prices are reasonable for the area. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

The staff was very stressed. The service was unsatisfactory. It was very loud, and the tables were very crowded. It was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very hot in the restaurant.

Once was enough... There were three of us at the restaurant today and a rather rude waitress showed us to a free table. The atmosphere was very dirty, with cobwebs in the windows and decor. The wall at our window table was really dirty, disgusting! The schnitzel was okay for the price, but the pike-perch with beetroot was terrible – the pike-perch was frozen fish and the puree was from a packet. The vegetarian pasta with pesto was delicious and reasonably priced. We won't be going back unless they renovate and cook fresh food for the prices charged!

Hehe, we've been here for 10 years. Memories. We had a reservation in advance. The service was good. The seating was good too. The food was okay but didn't meet our expectations. Three meals were way too salty and two were way too sweet. Overall, it was a bit tasteless. Poor value for money. We won't be coming back on our vacation. It's a shame, because it's also well located. Depending on where you sit, there's plenty of room upstairs.

Very child-friendly, very freshly prepared food and very tasty

I had a very large leaf salad with strips of chicken breast and some baguette. It also had a white wine, a blend of Riesling and Burgundy (flotsam and jetsam). The restaurant is huge, which perhaps somewhat detracts from the experience. The view of the sea is simply magnificent, and my meal was very good. The best part, though, was the wine!

We spontaneously drove to Zingst today and were at the beach. So we decided to have a late lunch at the Kurhaus restaurant. The food was truly outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. Since we were inside, we had a lovely view of the Baltic Sea and the pier. The value for money was excellent, but the portion was definitely too large.

Everything is just right here. You're greeted warmly and served attentively. The food is simply impeccable. You can look out at the sea and simply enjoy it. Thank you.

7 days in Zingst - 7 days at the Kurhaus, why? High quality, service always very good every day. You have to make a reservation; the tables by the window are popular and hard to get. If the service staff, who seem to be all Polish, didn't come, the restaurant would probably be closed. From day 3, they knew our drink preferences. We were asked to try a white wine and give our opinion. All the dishes are very good, often a bit too large for me as a woman, but you just can't eat them all 😆😅 My husband loves the Kurhausburger and the Jägerschnitzel. The fish dishes are great; as I said, you can eat everything without hesitation. Thanks for 7 wonderful days to the entire team at the Kurhaus restaurant. It's a shame no one is wearing name tags.

No, the quality of the food was at the level of a snack bar, and the latte was undrinkable despite the professional machine. The Dünenhaus was the number one restaurant in Zingst for decades. I'll never go there again.

Impeccable, friendly, and delicious. The outdoor area could be a little better maintained. And as a waiter/restaurant owner, you should be careful to clear tables that are besieged by the jackets and helmets of children whose parents are inattentive. That easily lost €150 in revenue.

This place completely ruined my 60th birthday. The staff was completely overwhelmed. A table was reserved long in advance. It still didn't work out, but as an apology, they offered lukewarm champagne. Any chip shop could set the table better; the knife was on the left and the fork on the right. This place really ruined my birthday. Completely overcrowded, uncomfortable, and loud. Bottom line: it's not acceptable. The food is also better at a chip shop.

Very tasty food with a good selection. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the Baltic Sea. Great ambiance, and the wait for the dishes was also very short. We were there on a Friday and Saturday during the holiday season and got a table for two without a reservation. Nevertheless, the restaurant was quite busy, so a reservation is definitely a good idea, especially for larger groups. All in all, a real recommendation!

I can absolutely recommend it. Large portions, quick, and delicious. The kids even said it was super delicious. And I can't say enough about that.

Why well-cooked fried potatoes are salted is unclear, and it's not very tasty. Nevertheless, the pollock platter was okay. The portions were decent, though. The Wiener schnitzel and the salmon tarte flambée were good.

From the moment you arrive, you're warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, which immediately puts you at ease. The food is a real highlight: freshly prepared, delicious, and lovingly presented. What's particularly pleasing is that the portions are just right—generous enough to fill you up, but not overwhelming. The location couldn't be better: With a direct view of the beach and the Baltic Sea, you're not just sitting down to eat, but experiencing a mini-vacation. What's particularly convenient is that you can also order a delicious pizza, take it with you, and enjoy it right on the beach—fresh sea air, the sound of waves, and warm food—it doesn't get much better than that. The value for money is also unbeatable: high quality at fair prices, plus the ambiance and the view—all perfectly balanced. A place that you can wholeheartedly recommend and one you'll gladly return to.

Great atmosphere on the pier next to Sugarloaf Mountain. The fried herring was a bit small, especially the 3 herring. It was busy at first, all the tables were occupied, and there was a wedding inside. Therefore, the service was at full capacity. But things didn't get any better later on. Overall, a 4-star recommendation, though.

Wonderful enjoyment with a view of the sea. The Kurhaus Restaurant Zingst is a true highlight on the Baltic Sea! Its location right on the beach is unbeatable – with stunning sea views from the terrace or through the large windows inside. The atmosphere is simply wonderful, especially at sunset. The restaurant's culinary offerings were also impressive: The fish dishes are fresh, creatively prepared, and beautifully presented. I particularly recommend the zander with balsamic beetroot and Parmesan mashed potatoes, as well as the cod in a potato crust with fennel – perfectly cooked and a real hit. The appetizers and desserts were also very good, with a regional touch but with a modern twist. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The value for money is reasonable. Reservations on weekends are recommended. The Kurhaus Restaurant is not to be missed. A definite recommendation!

Truly fantastic food. We had the shrimp skewers with baked potatoes once and the tagliatelle with salmon once. It was incredibly delicious; we'll definitely be back.

Eight of us went to the restaurant with a reservation and on the recommendation of friends. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the value for money was really good. I would definitely visit the restaurant again and recommend it to others. One particularly positive aspect is that the children's dishes sometimes come with a decent side dish (peas and carrots, and mashed potatoes) rather than just fries. They do have those, of course, but there are also children who don't like fries, like ours, and they were very happy with the mashed potatoes.

The food for the six guests was very good, especially the schnitzel and the fish soup. We'd be happy to go back.

Well, the first visit was great; it wasn't crowded, and the food and service were excellent. A few days later, we reserved a table for Friday, today, for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived at 7:30 p.m., it was very busy. We were seated next to the restroom entrance, even though we were asked what the reservation was for. After 20 minutes, we hadn't ordered any drinks, and it was getting busier and busier. I don't blame the staff at all!!! You can't fill all the tables here if there aren't enough staff, and all the tables inside and outside were occupied. We left because we just didn't feel like waiting that long. It was a real shame, because the first impression was great.

The pizza is very thinly topped. Almost no cheese. The sauce is also far too sweet. As if they added sugar. Not recommended. My son had a Jägerschnitzel. He thought it was very good. My partner had a baked potato. She said the dressing had an indefinable aftertaste. However, the prices are high, and the quality isn't convincing.

The ambiance is old and worn, many corners are dirty, even the walls. Some prices are completely inflated, and the food is nothing special. The fried potatoes were mushy and the bacon undercooked. The portions were far too small. €4 for a bratwurst outside is completely unacceptable. At these prices, you can't afford a vacation in Germany anymore.

We went there for lunch. The food was sufficient (large portion), and the value for money was okay. In our opinion, this place isn't suitable for a quick bite to eat. We had two meals, a kids' meal, and three drinks, and paid €69. The restaurant is cozy, the restrooms were clean, and we sat inside. My parents sat outside on the terrace a few days ago - great! The atmosphere with the sound of the sea was amazing. Unfortunately, what we both noticed was that the service left a lot to be desired. From a bad mood to our waitress chatting for ages with another colleague while the food was being prepared. P.S.: Monday is not pizza day - maybe be more polite next time.

The restaurant is very cozy with a great view of the Baltic Sea. We always choose side dishes like mashed potatoes and beets, and we also like the wild garlic tagliatelle with green asparagus. We'll be back!

Service: We'd still be waiting if the bartender hadn't taken pity on us... The rest of the staff: hopelessly overwhelmed, often shouting... Food: Schnitzel – 2nd version – a resounding success – gut cleared! ...

You waited too long for the bill. You couldn't keep up with the drinks either.

Our advice: It's better to avoid it as far as possible. We were there for dinner on April 30, 2025. There was zander on beetroot vegetables and cod fillet with fried potatoes and green asparagus. We also had 2 Ipanema and a carafe of still water (1l), which we'll come back to later. What was there to complain about? Both fish dry and over-fried! Beetroot vegetables: Chunky, vinegar-soaked pieces (suspected of canned vegetables) in an insubstantial sauce. Fried potatoes: cutting angle and uniform thickness and, above all, the consistency of the slices indicate machine processing (suspicion of frozen machine goods) Ipanema: The attempt to mix water, cheap passion fruit nectar, lime pieces, ginger ale and sugar together went terribly wrong. Unfortunately, the cocktail didn't have any Ipanema at all. And now the crowning glory: The carafe contained 1l of filtered local tap water for the “discount price” of €8.90

Overall nothing has changed, we were happy, but if things continue like this the paying guests will be sitting at the table in the beer garden and the dogs 🐕 in the restaurant. I don't think there will be fewer guests if there's a "dogs must stay outside" rule!

I decided to have dinner here and had a craving for Jägerschnitzel. The portions are usually too big for me and upon request I was able to get a children's portion of schnitzel with fries and a side dish of mushrooms. It was perfect and everything was delicious! The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The large hall with the many tightly packed tables and chairs has something of a train station restaurant feel to it and isn't really comfortable. But the view of the beach is nice.

We have pre-ordered a table for 2 people with a view of the Baltic Sea 100% fulfilled. The food is simply fantastically delicious 😋.

Well, there are much better restaurants in Zingst with a nicer atmosphere (a bit reminiscent of a train station hall) and considerably higher quality, where the price-performance ratio is also right!

Good location by the water. We went here for a coffee and ice cream. Both were delicious. In terms of price, we are on the more expensive side. Ambiance felt a bit dated. And the waitress's thoughts (and her words) were on her daughter's upcoming 18th birthday. That's why the order went wrong in the first place.

I found the restaurant by chance while looking for a non-touristy place to eat and was more than pleasantly surprised in the end: an ambitious, young, international, attentive and friendly service team that was also open to special requests. A diverse menu also with local dishes. My fish soup tasteful with perfectly cooked pieces of fish and especially important on an icy day: hot; then fried herrings. A unique view of the Baltic Sea, the beach and the pier.

A nice location with delicious food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.
