Kurhausrestaurant - Wohlfühl-Ambiente mit Meerblick in Zingst

We dined at the Kurhaus Restaurant in Zingst for my parents' silver wedding anniversary – and it was a thoroughly successful evening in every respect. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and warm service: I spontaneously organized a little surprise for my parents, which was executed without hesitation and with great sensitivity. They were delighted – a truly goosebump-inducing moment that gave the evening a very personal touch. The restaurant's culinary offerings were also absolutely impressive. The dishes were creative, lovingly prepared, and of a very high standard. The stylish ambience and the fantastic location at the Kurhaus perfectly rounded off the experience. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, flexibility, and warmth. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion in Zingst or simply enjoy an excellent meal, this is the place to be.

We just had a drink. The service was attentive and friendly. That was different two years ago. The location with a view of the beach and lake is absolutely top-notch.

We actually only went here out of necessity due to a heavy rain shower and ate there. We didn't regret it. All three meals were delicious, and the value for money was also good. We went back a few days later.

...a very strange experience! We made a reservation on Tuesday for Saturday – we had the choice of a table at the counter or a table at the bar. Service: We'd still be waiting if the bartender hadn't taken pity on us... The rest of the staff: hopelessly overwhelmed, often shouting... Food: Schnitzel – 2nd version – a resounding success – gut cleared! ...

You waited too long for the bill. You couldn't keep up with the drinks either.

The service was a bit stressed and it was busy, but a smile is always appreciated and the food was OK.

We ate there in May 2025. We received courteous service, the food came quickly, and it was very good. We recommend the fish soup and the pike-perch with beetroot and Parmesan mashed potatoes.

8 of us ate here and everyone really enjoyed it. Staff very friendly, food came very quickly - the portions were very large - value for money is really great here.

Our advice: It's better to avoid it as far as possible. We were there for dinner on April 30, 2025. There was zander on beetroot vegetables and cod fillet with fried potatoes and green asparagus. We also had 2 Ipanema and a carafe of still water (1l), which we'll come back to later. What was there to complain about? Both fish dry and over-fried! Beetroot vegetables: Chunky, vinegar-soaked pieces (suspected of canned vegetables) in an insubstantial sauce. Fried potatoes: cutting angle and uniform thickness and, above all, the consistency of the slices indicate machine processing (suspicion of frozen machine goods) Ipanema: The attempt to mix water, cheap passion fruit nectar, lime pieces, ginger ale and sugar together went terribly wrong. Unfortunately, the cocktail didn't have any Ipanema at all. And now the crowning glory: The carafe contained 1l of filtered local tap water for the “discount price” of €8.90

Overall nothing has changed, we were happy, but if things continue like this the paying guests will be sitting at the table in the beer garden and the dogs 🐕 in the restaurant. I don't think there will be fewer guests if there's a "dogs must stay outside" rule!

I decided to have dinner here and had a craving for Jägerschnitzel. The portions are usually too big for me and upon request I was able to get a children's portion of schnitzel with fries and a side dish of mushrooms. It was perfect and everything was delicious! The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The large hall with the many tightly packed tables and chairs has something of a train station restaurant feel to it and isn't really comfortable. But the view of the beach is nice.

We have pre-ordered a table for 2 people with a view of the Baltic Sea 100% fulfilled. The food is simply fantastically delicious 😋.

Cons: The food was ok. Unfortunately the fried potatoes were too salty and sometimes more than crispy. The salad was only served with balsamic vinegar, too much of it and therefore quite sour. Positive: The food came quite quickly and was fresh.

Even though it's always busy here in high season, you rarely have to wait long for a table. The service is friendly and quick. The food is delicious. I can especially recommend the tomato soup. It is deliciously fruity.

Well, there are much better restaurants in Zingst with a nicer atmosphere (a bit reminiscent of a train station hall) and considerably higher quality, where the price-performance ratio is also right!

We were just there to have coffee. Great atmosphere, space right by the window with a view of the beach. The coffee was okay, nothing special. There was hardly any choice of cake.

Good location by the water. We went here for a coffee and ice cream. Both were delicious. In terms of price, we are on the more expensive side. Ambiance felt a bit dated. And the waitress's thoughts (and her words) were on her daughter's upcoming 18th birthday. That's why the order went wrong in the first place.

I found the restaurant by chance while looking for a non-touristy place to eat and was more than pleasantly surprised in the end: an ambitious, young, international, attentive and friendly service team that was also open to special requests. A diverse menu also with local dishes. My fish soup tasteful with perfectly cooked pieces of fish and especially important on an icy day: hot; then fried herrings. A unique view of the Baltic Sea, the beach and the pier.

Unfortunately, the restaurant only benefits from its optimal location. It took an eternity for the staff to come to take our order; we were almost ready to leave. Unfortunately, we almost spoiled our stomachs by eating it. Then the staff got very annoyed because they had to do something and also became rude. I can really only advise everyone not to eat there if your health is important to you.

We were just there for coffee. I can really only recommend this. And the view of the Baltic Sea is magnificent, especially in bad weather. Nice in the warm with coffee and cake in a really cozy atmosphere.

We were there for dinner, the service was excellent, the food was on the table in a reasonable time and the drinks supply was really good. Reservation of a table is recommended.

It doesn't get any better. A super tasty meal, served in a visually appealing way. A good portion and that culinary something (pike perch with beetroot as a vegetable side dish, cod with braised cucumbers in mustard sauce and fish soup, hhhhmmmmm). Especially the children's plate of cod with mashed potatoes (not from the bag), peas and carrot cubes in sauce, everything fresh, everything delicious and the grandchild munched on it. A mega portion and presented like food for the grown-ups. Plus a very attentive service, which brought Lütten a new children's cutlery fork (!) when hers fell down. WHERE else can you have that? While eating you looked out over the Baltic Sea (of course only with a table by the window😀). I can't give more stars, but they would be deserved... Oh, the prices: fish dishes around €20, fish soup <€10 and the sensational children's dish €8.50

Had booked a table for New Year's Eve, sat in the awning where the zipper was opened every 10 seconds as guests wanted to come in and out. There was a New Year's Eve menu for 85€ with a Prosecco 0.1 l, continued with a chicken broth, which was so clear that you can see the bottom of the soup cup, despite the addition. Afterwards I had cod fillet, which was also tasty, but still didn't fit the price ratio (according to the menu it costs around €22). At the end there was a raspberry tiramisu without alcohol, as this is also offered to children. Our friends' children's New Year's Eve menu was charged at €85 plus the children's meal (schnitzel with mixed vegetables and over-salted mashed potatoes) at €9.95. After a complaint, the money was refunded, but there was no apology. I don't want to comment on the condition of the toilets, as they don't correspond at all to the restaurant and are more reminiscent of a train station toilet. Definitely will not visit this restaurant again after this rip off.

We actually just wanted to stop by for a drink, but then we decided on a small goulash soup and a piece of marble cake. The soup was slightly oversalted (congratulations to the chef on the great love) and the cake was finished! Unfortunately both were failures. Unfortunately there are no milk alternatives for coffee with milk! Sorry, but with so many lactose intolerant or vegan people, this is completely out of date

The view of the beach provides a nice ambience. Unfortunately the food isn't particularly good. Most of the food on the plate is ready-made and not homemade. The herring is good, the burger is ok.

The food didn't taste good and for these prices. The sour cream had nothing to do with sour cream and the lemon sauce on the tagliatelle was too intense. Overall, the price-performance ratio was not right. In addition, the staff was unfriendly and seemed unmotivated and arrogant. Therefore the atmosphere was cold and not pleasant. The large room also contributed to this and did not create the desired, cozy atmosphere.

Left after 20 minutes without ordering. We have never been ignored so consistently. But the waitress's remark as we were leaving that we still had to pay was very amusing. Addendum: We should actually be grateful because it took us directly 100m further to the “Hirsch” restaurant. Delicious food and super friendly service that makes your wishes come true. There were five of us there. The food was good, the fried potatoes were a bit salty. Maybe because of the bacon. The service was sufficient. Our waitress was nice. All in all, you could already tell that they weren't specialists. We are glad that there are still staff.

Food excellent. We tried more there. Fish, burger, salads, desserts. All without problems. And the sunset view. Just fine and the service was nice and very accommodating.

Super delicious food and a beautiful view over the Baltic Sea

We were able to celebrate our wedding at the Kurhaus at the weekend. Since the service was so perfect and the food was really delicious, it was a great celebration! Each of the waiters made every effort to read your every wish. There were never any longer waiting times, neither at the buffet nor at the bar! The ambience is just awesome with the beach and the pier in front of the door. We can only thank the team for this fantastic celebration.

Friendly service and great food

Everything was great on the first visit On the second visit a few days later the service was a disaster. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food and our food came when we asked. Because of our complaints, the waitress was through with us and the plates were then placed on the table very listlessly. Luckily another waitress came to collect and was very friendly.

Ich muss mal nach den letzten negativen Bewertungen für dieses Lokal eine Lanze brechen. Die servierten Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft und die Servicekräfte durchweg freundlich! Gut, die Atmosphäre im Lokal glich eher einer Bahnhofshalle, aber unterm Strich zählt doch die Qualität der Gerichte und die war sehr gut ! Generell haben die Preise in den meisten Lokalen, die letzten Jahre massiv angezogen, ob gerechtfertigt steht auf einem anderen Blatt !

Die Bedingungen kam schon unfreundlich rüber, keine sympathische Basis. Wir sind in das Restaurant rein um Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellen, wurden wir erstmal angepappt, wir hätten auch draußen warten können, sie komme dann schon zu uns. Wichtig war im Vordergrund wie wir bezahlen wollen uns das wir dann eben draußen warten sollen, was wir auch dan taten. So nun hab ich 28,40€ gezahlt für 2 Minipizzas, ich bin sprachlos.. soviel Geld für kleine und auch noch nicht mal wirkliche gute Pizzen.. definitiv kommen wir nicht mehr.. sehr schade um das Lokal.

The food in this restaurant is quite okay. But you shouldn't expect anything incredibly special. The ambience, however, is amazing. There is also nothing wrong with the serving staff. Prices are higher depending on the location, but still reasonable.

I'll start from the beginning... We ordered a table for 5 people for 7 p.m., unfortunately there was no table available for 5 people when we arrived at 7 p.m. We then got a table in the hallway and a chair was placed next to it. So far so good. Then we waited a full 20 minutes until we could order drinks. We had also chosen the food in the meantime. It was supposed to be a pizza for the child in the group, unfortunately the pizza order that is on the menu is only accepted from 8 p.m.... It is nowhere clear that you can only order a pizza that is on the menu from 8 p.m.... So there was the first long face... Now to the food, which finally came after an hour. Unfortunately, the pasta with salmon and the plaice with mashed potatoes were anything but hot... In terms of taste, everything wasn't great. The service didn't have a smile on their faces, so you didn't feel particularly welcome. All in all, we will avoid this restaurant in the future. Price/performance is not justified.

Food is very good. Service was grumpy and food wasn't brought at the same time. If the children are ready 30 minutes before you get your food, it's not very comfortable anymore.
