GRISSINI - Restaurant - Café - Bar in Zingst

We arrived spontaneously in November as a couple without a reservation and were immediately seated and served very quickly. The pleasant atmosphere was particularly impressive. The service was good and the food arrived very quickly—a little too quickly, in fact. I think it would be better if we had to wait a bit longer and received a fresh creamy mushroom sauce instead of a packet of instant mushroom soup. Unfortunately, the instant taste was quite pronounced. Otherwise, everything was fine, and the price was reasonable for the generous portions.

The menu looks better than the food on the plate.

A very nice restaurant, with a very pleasant ambiance, and the food was delicious. We went for a candlelight dinner, which you can book there. It was a wonderful evening. Parking is also nearby.

The two of us ate here today and can't understand the negative reviews. We had the Darß burger and the schnitzel, both very, very tasty. We especially loved the fries; they were delicious and completely different from what you'd normally get served. The appetizer came with a fantastic garlic dip; you should serve it with all fries dishes. The dessert was also very nicely presented. We'll definitely be back. 😊

Could be better! We've gotten used to the prices by now, but not to portion sizes that fit in a thimble. The food was tasty, but far too little for the high price.

We went there for dinner this evening: pasta with pesto and burrata. There was a lot of olive oil at the bottom of the bowl. The pasta was okay. My husband had pork schnitzel, sliced ​​very, very thinly, so it was also dry, and thrown in the deep fryer. It was very lightly cooked, you can't really say it was fried. The greens on the plate weren't worth mentioning, and the chips, also from the deep fryer and inedible in many places, were poorly peeled and very salty. The door was wide open, so the food got cold quickly. We sat diagonally opposite the door and could also see people outside being approached to get in for food. We're not used to that from Germany, but more from Turkey. Okay, everyone wants to survive, but a lot has to change! We felt like we were at a train station. We can't say it was cozy. We'll be avoiding the *restaurant* in the future.

Grissini offers a good selection of drinks and food. Unfortunately, the flowery descriptions of the dishes don't quite match what's actually served. It's also advisable to check your bill to avoid paying for the dishes of the neighboring table. Any complaints are easily corrected. The excessive use of garlic can be noticed throughout the restaurant and can become quite unpleasant at some point during your visit. Otherwise, the service is very good.

The service was really good. However, the food was unfortunately not good at all. We had the regular schnitzel and a veggie schnitzel. Both were very oily and poorly fried. The fries weren't tasty either. On top of that, the veggie schnitzel simply cost more than the meaty schnitzel. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio was not good at all.

The most disgusting mocha I've ever tasted (I didn't finish it). The apple strudel was incredibly small and didn't taste homemade; an absolute joke for the price. The staff didn't even ask if everything was okay afterward; otherwise, I would have saved myself the trouble of writing a review.

My meal (chicken pasta) and my wife's fish (salmon trout) were okay but relatively bland. Our apple spritzer had too much water in it. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. So, we weren't really impressed with the restaurant. Therefore, we wouldn't recommend it.

We went to Grissini for lunch and were very disappointed. The pork schnitzel wasn't hand-breaded and was just ground meat. Our child's meal (nuggets with fries) was presented with a completely unkind presentation. The mushroom sauce served with the chicken schnitzel "Grissini" was from a packet. The dishes are described very well on the menu, so you expect delicious and lovingly prepared food. Unfortunately, this only made the disappointment even greater. This restaurant has earned a spot on our "once and never again" list. What a shame. The staff, however, tried hard.

The staff was friendly, although sometimes difficult to understand due to language barriers. Unfortunately, the chicken burger was just a chicken schnitzel between two halves of a bun, and therefore nothing special. The portion of pork medallions was very small and didn't quite fill my partner. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the shop, so we had to forgo dessert or a nightcap. Solid and overall okay, but not outstanding.

I received a very friendly and warm welcome and was served very quickly. The food arrived quickly and tasted simply fabulous.

This is the worst pizza I've ever eaten!!! We ordered a salami pizza, and it cost €14. To describe it in detail, the pizza consisted of more tomato sauce than dough. I think the cheese was mozzarella, which wasn't even spread evenly; it was just four round slices. The salami was something from Aldi, Lidl, and the like. So, from a restaurant that's practically on the front row in a holiday resort, I expect more. If you don't know anything about it, you should focus on what you're good at or hire someone who knows what they're doing. Sorry, I'm not someone who likes posting bad reviews online, but this really annoyed me!

I should have trusted the bad reviews and not entered the restaurant. What was often described turned out to be true. The pizza had scant toppings, was soggy, and undercooked. Never again.

You should avoid this restaurant. The service was brief when ordering and then disappeared. Unfortunately, you couldn't reorder. The food was rather cold and rather poor, compared to the prices. Conclusion: Nice location, but better to move on.

The food still needs improvement, especially the service. The pizza and pasta we ordered were brought out every five minutes. Dessert was a bit better. I just have to say that for €6, you'd expect a well-chilled beer, which wasn't the case here. The restrooms weren't exactly clean.

We went there for the first time yesterday, just passing by by chance. The food wasn't bad, but my husband's pasta with Bolognese was a bit dry. My pizza soup (starter) was very tasty. Minus points for the beer being too warm, and the decent Pinot Gris for €9 wasn't well chilled either. I have to say, two slices of pizza bread with the soup were tiny slices of pizza. I wouldn't go there again, given the selection in Zingst.

Very friendly and fast staff, the daily special pizza and my rosé-themed drink (forgot the name 🤭) were also delicious. Considering how busy it was, the service and food were really fast, and the prices were really reasonable.

Very tasty food, but my girlfriend's pizza arrived about 10-15 minutes later than my meat dish. Therefore, service deducted points.

Somewhat upscale cuisine with rather small portions, but very tasty food and friendly service. I had the pork fillet medallions, my husband had the fish menu of the year, and the little one had a salami pizza that looked so good that we treated ourselves to another one afterward! We had a table near the restrooms and opposite the busy side door to the outdoor dining area, which was quite practical: our little one always had something to look at and could chat with the staff :) As a farewell, she even scooped up some gummy bears and marshmallow. There was also live music that evening, which we could enjoy at a comfortable volume from our seats. Highchairs are available, and there are blankets for outside.

I wouldn't call it Italian, so when we were served ketchup and mayo in little sachets, I was a bit disappointed. The burger wasn't that good, but the pizza bread as an appetizer was quite tasty. However, when my stomach started to rumble, I stopped ordering dessert. The service was very friendly and quick.

Unfortunately, you have to differentiate very clearly between food and service. I had the Ostseetraum (Baltic Sea Dream), which takes up a whole page on the menu. However, the sauce and the mushrooms are terrible! The mushroom sauce only had one mushroom, and it came from a can. The sauce was made with Maggi Fix or something. Simply not tasty. Can't recommend it in any way! The service brought almost everything we ordered, but there was no question of whether we wanted anything else or whether we were satisfied.

We went there quite spontaneously, but the atmosphere wasn't particularly good. It felt more like we were just passing through; everything was quite hectic and quite loud. The service staff were very friendly and always on hand, though; you really can't complain. The food was rather average and nothing special, but it was okay. We'll try other restaurants sometime.

I've rarely experienced such a complete disaster. From start to finish, a slow-motion tragedy. The service? Unable to be found. Friendliness? Apparently on vacation. The organization? A chaotic mess. I came with expectations – I left with a stomachache. The Coke was warm, the ice cubes only arrived after asking five times. And the fried potatoes? They weren't fried potatoes. Conclusion: I recommend a relaxing weekend in a hornet's nest instead.

Unfortunately, the food does not represent value for money. The food is undoubtedly tasty, but it is far too expensive, almost outrageous. How can you charge an extra €2.50 for Parmesan cheese on top of a portion of pasta, when a portion of regular pasta costs over €20. I can only hope that all restaurateurs will return to normalcy. €6 beer? Unfortunately, not, and no further visits. When bars close, it is not only due to a lack of staff. There is a difference between being able to afford food and wanting to afford it. And no, it is simply outrageous, and I can understand why people would rather go on holiday abroad. A cocktail costing €14-€16 is just as outrageous a demand for an average restaurant.

The food i thought was ok. My wife and kids liked the pizza. I felt my chicken pasta was ok kinda bland I felt it was missing something. I would go back and try other items on the menu. Fair warning the spicy pasta has heat 🥵.

It's close to the beach and in a great location. Dogs are also welcome here, so you can enjoy a relaxing evening or day with your four-legged friend. The service is fast and friendly. The homemade iced teas are excellent and highly recommended. The portions may be a bit small, but they're still plentiful and help prevent food waste. There's also room left for dessert. I'd love to go back!

This was my second visit to Grissini Zingst, and just like two years ago, I really enjoyed it. Grissini is a cozy restaurant with an attractive outdoor area. The service is attentive and friendly. I had the Grissini chicken schnitzel with cornflake breading – absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Grissini!

Salad plate with shrimp, 6 small, rotten lettuce leaves in between, barely any sauce, 2 cocktail tomatoes, one of which was rotten. 22 euros, never again.

SUPER delicious food. I was at grissini last year too and had the cheeseburger again. The cheeseburger has an incredibly good sauce and a tasty patty with melted cheese. The fries are also delicious.

The ambiance and service are very inviting. You immediately feel at home; it's a great concept. The vegan burger and cappuccino were excellent; unfortunately, the Hawaiian pizza only had canned pineapple (kind of disappointing for the pizza of the day). The strawberry-passion fruit spritzer was also delicious; perhaps they could improve the presentation a bit. Otherwise, definitely worth a visit :)

You wonder how some reviews come about. My wife's pizza was simply awful, and mine was simply missing arugula. Nevertheless, the pizza was brought to the table without comment. When I asked, I was told the arugula was out. Unbelievable. Pretty much the worst thing I've experienced in many years.

The music was good too, a comfortable volume, and the design was nice. In summary, a nice restaurant/café. Delicious food. Good service, but I don't understand the 3.7-star rating. It's a shame, we always enjoyed coming, but the portions are simply too small for the price. Unfortunately, the drinks are also quite expensive. We would have liked to stay longer and have another drink, but unfortunately it was too expensive.

It tasted delicious. Delicate and aromatic. The fish fillet with sea buckthorn is highly recommended, and the vegetarian pizza was also a hit. Our dog loved it, too :-)

We ate there last night because the vegetarian dishes sounded really good. And what can I say? My husband is still raving about the fried potatoes and the schnitzel from the field. I had the spring pasta. The asparagus still had a slight bite, but the pieces were a bit too large, so I had to cut them even smaller with my husband's knife. In summary, the meal was truly delicious and absolutely worth the price.

A street restaurant designed for walk-in customers. The waiters are also entertainers. Actually quite pleasant, not overly pushy. After that, things went downhill. The food was bad, pre-made food lacked flavor. Watch out for the extras: extra Parmesan costs €2.50 for a shot glass full of pre-made Parmesan. Complaints about the food were dismissed with a smile. Much room for improvement. Disappointing visit, not recommended.
