Wir haben hier als Familie richtig schön gegessen. Es gibt drei richtig schöne vegane Gerichte auf der Karte. Das Personal war super freundlich und aufmerksam den Kindern gegenüber

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich nicht auf das Essen, sondern ausschließlich auf die Einrichtung und Sauberkeit des Lokals. Außenbereich OK. Der Innenraum gleicht eher einem Lagerraum. Auf manchen Dixi ist es sauberen als in den Toiletten. Ich habe es mir verkniffen vom Innenbereich Fotos zu machen.

Durch Zufall haben wir bei einem Urlaubsausflug dieses Lokal entdeckt.Der Service funktionierte sehr schnell.Wir hatten eine Fischsoljanka bestellt. Sie hätte etwas mehr Geschmack haben können. Die Würze fehlte etwas. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt recht angenehm, das Personal sehr freundlich.

17€ für eine große Weinschorle finde ich persönlich absolute abzocke

Wunderbares kleines Restaurant mit guten ausgewählten Speisen. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und nicht in einer Fritteuse, die gibt es in der Scheune nämlich nicht. Aus dem Innenbereich kann man bei der Zubereitung der Speisen zuschauen. Wir hatten ein Schnitzel vom Landschwein, Pilzsauce mit Bratkartoffeln, Salat und Rotbarschfilet auf Sahneporree mit gebutterten Kartoffelstampf. Alles lecker. Innendrin ist es bei schlechtem Wetter etwas räumlich begrenzt, aber die freundliche und nette Bedienung findet immer eine Lösung

Oje, Enttäuschung pur. Wir kommen seit 10 Jahren regelmäßig nach Zingst uns sind auch immer wieder Gast in der Zingster Scheune, aber dies wird sich in Zukunft ändern. Ich hatte mich heute mal auf Dorsch gefreut, stand aber leider nicht auf der überschaubaren Speisekarte... Na okay, kein Problem, hab ich mich für die Fischklopse entschieden. Ich kann nur sagen, mehr Brötchen als Fisch. Gewürze...Mangelware... und die Portionsgröße mit Klopsen für 22€ auch nicht gerade üppig. Meine Frau hatte geröstetes Brot mit Tomatensalat, welches außer nach Essig, nach nichts anderem geschmeckt hat. Bezahlen bei der Chefin: ohne ein "Hallo" oder "hat es Ihnen geschmeckt?", nur ein "Sie wollen Geld loswerden?". Für mich leider etwas traurig. Einen Lichtblick gab es allerdings doch, der Kellner war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend! Dafür ein Dankeschön. Ansonsten ist die Zingster Scheune für uns als Speiserestaurant ab jetzt gestrichen. Ich bin wirklich kein Nörgler, aber leider geht es dort gar nicht mehr. Tino

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub ein Mal hier essen. Von einer netten Bedienung wurden wir begrüßt und willkommen geheißen. Der Fisch mit den Bratkartoffeln war sehr lecker,die Salatsoße war köstlich. Ein paar Kartoffeln mehr auf dem Teller wären toll gewesen.

Top Essen. Ales beste Qualität und man wird auf jeden Fall satt.

Wir haben hier 2 Mal sehr lecker gegessen und wurden überaus freundlich und wertschätzend bedient. Die Portionen sind gut und reichlich.

Wir waren mehrfach da und das Essen war jedesmal klasse.. Spargel auf den Punkt gegart, Sosse im extra Töpfchen, Fleisch gut, Püree lecker und der Hackbraten mit Pflaumen hat Suchtpotenzial. Und die kleine Salatbeilage hatte eine schöne Vinaigrette. Die Portionen machen wirklich satt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Einzigen Abzug gibt es fürs Ambiente.. es muss nicht chickimicki sein, aber ein Konzept ist nicht wirklich zu erkennen. Draußen geht es ja noch, aber drinnen gibt es wirklich Handlungsbedarf.

Unser Essen war echt lecker. Besonders der Omas Matjes Topf war super lecker. Mache Ecke könnte eine Reinigung vertragen. ;-(

Wir hatten die Waffel mit Roter Grütze, eher mittelmäßiges Convenience-Food. Die Chefin war leider sehr unfreundlich, bei einem Hinweis auf einen Fehler in der Karte wurden wir bepöbelt und angeschrien. Sie hat anscheinend leider auch kein Problem damit, rassistisches Gedankengut zu unterstützen. Schade!

Kleines gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit regionaler Küche. Durch die halboffene Küche kann man dem Personal beim Anrichten zuschauen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen recht groß. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Preis-Leistung ist echt top. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei.

Wir waren zum Kaffeetrinken in der Scheune. Die offene Küche hat leider keinen guten Dunstabzug. Der Geruch nach Fisch trübte die Vorfreude auf die Waffeln, die wir bestellt haben. Das Ambiente wirkte unaufgeräumt. Die Tische waren nicht sauber. Die Waffeln waren gut, der Cappuccino leider nicht.

Freundlicher Empfang, Speisekarte hat für jeden Geschmack etwas, Fleisch- und Fischgerichte, auch vegetarisch.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und waren erst zurückhaltend da keiner Weiter im Restaurant war. Das lag aber definitiv am Wetter, Zeitraum und an der Uhrzeit. Der Service war gut und sehr aufmerksam. Essen wurde frisch zubereitet was wir gut beobachten konnten durch die offene Küche. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Zweitbewertung (2026): Diesmal hatte ich erfreulicherweise einen ganz anderen Eindruck. Zwar kein Schnitzel gegessen, aber alle bestellten Essen waren gut und schmackhaft. Das gilt für den Hackbraten, die Matjes und die Tomatensuppe. Der Service war gut und die Wirtin ist "eine Marke". Waren sogar 2x dort essen. Erstbewertung (2019): Der eine Stern ist nur gerechtfertigt, weil die Zingster Scheune auch an einem Montag geöffnet hatte - die meisten Restaurants haben derzeit (Februar) Montag und (!) Dienstag als Ruhetag festgelegt bzw. renovieren oder machen gleich eine lange Winterpause. Auch die Salatbeilage der Hauptgerichte war noch recht schmackhaft - deswegen insgesamt 2 Sterne (mit Bedenken). Ansonsten überwog der Eindruck von aufgetauten Schnitzeln. Ich kann keine Empfehlung aussprechen. Die überteuerten Suppen als Vorspeise machten es auch nicht besser.

The restaurant is incredibly cozy and the food was absolutely delicious.

We visited during the Christmas season and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Outside, it was cozy with mulled wine under patio heaters overlooking the festive pedestrian zone, while inside, we received a warm welcome and the decor had a charming Nordic feel. The regional cuisine was excellent.

We were very satisfied. We were greeted warmly, served quickly, and the food was fantastic! We had the onion soup with apple and a kind of bruschetta – absolutely delicious! 🤤 For our main courses, we had the goat cheese pasta and the fricassee. The portions were definitely more than generous, everything tasted fresh and a bit like Grandma used to make. 🥰 If we ever vacation here again, we know where we'll eat! 👌

The ambiance is truly lovely, the service polite and friendly... Unfortunately, the most important thing, THE FOOD, was a huge disappointment. I don't understand fried potatoes as what they served: we had halved and partly half-raw potatoes with their skins on, fried in oil and heavily salted. No onion, no piece of bacon (certainly not essential for everyone), and no other seasonings besides salt. The schnitzel felt like a frozen version. The side salad, on the other hand, was very good. Overall, very poor quality for quite a lot of money. This was our first and last visit.

The food wasn't even mediocre; as a tourist, I felt like I was being treated like a rip-off. It was all bad convenience food, not even hand-made. What a shame!

We've been coming here regularly at least once a year since 2019. It's always great. The manager recognizes us immediately. The German Shepherd is welcome. The food is great and the beer 🍺 cold. Simply superb. On September 11, 2025, I went here for dinner with my father (88 years old). Since he can no longer eat such large portions, a regular meal was easily converted into a child's portion. That's rare. The service was once again very friendly and competent. My father was very impressed and pleasantly surprised. Like every year, I was here in June, and nothing has changed. Simply great.

We sat outside and ate fish and schnitzel. Both were delicious.

We were just there for a quick visit. The ladies there were very accommodating. The drinks were delicious, but we do have one major drawback. It might not be immediately noticeable to those with a slimmer build, but the outdoor chairs are terribly uncomfortable. People with wider hips, or simply those with a squat, won't have much fun here, as the side bars on the chairs really hurt their legs after a while. Perhaps it's worth considering a different type of chair. But otherwise, everything was fine. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one drink because of the lack of chairs.

The Königsberg fish meatballs were a good recommendation for my husband. I had fish with creamed leeks and mashed potatoes. The seating was a bit uncomfortable, but the taste was OK. Apparently part of a chain of restaurants in Zingst. The price/performance ratio should be reconsidered.

We had coffee and cake. The coffee drinks weren't tasty, in our opinion. The apricot cheesecake was good, but the almond cake didn't have much flavor, just tasted like nothing. Maybe it was just too cold from the fridge. The elderberry iced tea was overpriced. It was just elderberry syrup with water. Not worth the price. The staff was friendly.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The service seemed unkempt, and the restaurant itself, especially the interior, appeared dirty. The restroom smelled strongly. The food tasted fine, but after a few minutes, we noticed a long hair in the dish. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she reacted defensively and lacked understanding. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she made inappropriate comments about my family and the kitchen staff, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Due to this incident and the unhygienic impressions, we cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

The restaurant is recommended for anyone who doesn't care about where they want to sit! A table for two is only available in the less attractive area, preferably in the busiest area between the bar, entrance/exit, and restroom! All other tables seem to be reserved exclusively for four or more people! It's a real shame, the food is really good! I'm sure only "groups" come there; the restaurant would appreciate it if the two of us could simply find something else.

The food was delicious, but the portions could have been larger. The service was poor; our order was forgotten, and several guests who arrived after us were served earlier. They didn't even notice that our order had been lost. When we complained, the food was brought quickly. They could have offered us something as compensation (espresso or a drink), but nothing came. The atmosphere was cold and drafty, with empty tealight holders on the table. We definitely won't be back!

Unfortunately, the schnitzel and potatoes tasted like they came from an air fryer, which is a shame. The service was otherwise nice, though. The restrooms weren't clean either.

All I can do is quote another guest: "Those who simply want to be full and have no expectations of taste or freshness might be fine here. But those who go out for food to enjoy themselves should probably move on."

We actually wanted to enjoy a nice lunch, but unfortunately, we only got a crash course in "what frozen food tastes like." From the lukewarm vegetables that clearly came straight from a bag, to the bland sauce that seemed like it was made from a powder, to the dessert that probably had been sitting in a supermarket's freezer aisle an hour ago—everything tasted like convenience food rather than home-cooked food. The only fresh thing about this visit was the smiles of the staff. Friendly, attentive, and hard-working—it's a real shame that the kitchen doesn't reflect this commitment. For the price, I would have at least hoped for the appearance of home-cooked food. If you just want to fill yourself up and have no expectations of taste or freshness, you might be fine here. But if you're going out for food to enjoy, you'd better move on.

We weren't impressed by the service. We were told that there was live music in the evenings, but that you'd have to spend more than just a coffee there. Every guest was told the same thing by the woman with the accent. A lot of blah blah! Unnecessary! Only foreign waiters, no local food.

Cake was served before coffee, which followed 5 minutes later. Another 20 minutes later, the waffles arrived. By then, the coffee was cold, or rather, already drunk. €7 for a large bottle of Glashäger mineral water (less than 50 cents when purchased) also seems a bit excessive to us. Service was inattentive. The food tasted good, though.

We were able to eat outside in the perfect weather. There was live music, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff was relaxed and cheerful, which made everything feel more intimate – maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but we really liked it that way. There were seven of us plus a stroller, and the staff were very attentive to ensuring that everything was adequately spaced, even though the terrace is usually designed for smaller groups. The value for money is definitely great; we'd be happy to come back. 🥰

We went there for dinner in the evening. I had the chicken noodle stir-fry. It wasn't seasoned at all and tasted of nothing, and all for €21.50. Even a ready meal tastes better. The drink prices are completely unreasonable. A Coke costs €6.50, which is more expensive than a beer in Alster. The staff were very unfriendly and spoke little German.

We ate there twice this week and the food was really delicious. We sat outside once (7/7/25) and inside once (7/11/25). You can see into the kitchen and I must say you can see that everything runs smoothly, calmly and intelligently! Everyone has their role there so it doesn't become chaos. The service leaves a lot to be desired, with an older lady running hectically from point A to point B without having anything under control, getting food and drinks and two young people bringing out food and drinks and you can see that they are being kept to themselves even though the two of them are more capable than the older lady. Getting the drinks and food takes at least 10 minutes even though nothing was happening. If you come from the catering industry yourself you can see straight away what is going wrong, no straight line, hectic, clueless, uncontrolled behavior. Given the number of guests you can even manage it all on your own with everything that goes with it, and elsewhere someone has to have everything under control with everything that goes with it. Conclusion: The older lady acts like the boss and has nothing under control, but really nothing at all! The older lady should urgently work on her communication with guests; the young girl and the young guy were very friendly and polite in their communication. On Monday, the older lady simply cleared our empty glasses without asking if we had anything else to order, so of course we didn't order anything else. On Friday, the plates were taken away as we walked by, and I hadn't even finished everything. As I said, too hectic, uncontrolled behavior, and clueless about what she was doing! I know they're probably not all trained service staff, but some fine-tuning would be good. Not to mention, the service staff are the flagship of the restaurant 🙃

The food was amazing. We had the garden pasta (above) and the sunflower Bolognese (below), and it was truly amazing. You couldn't tell at all that it was "fake" Bolognese. It tasted absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Good pub with excellent, different food...not always fried potatoes 😉. We had cod and fish cakes...very tasty. A nice evening, we'd love to come back.

Super friendly staff, the food was truly delicious, and overall we had a very pleasant visit! Unfortunately, we have to deduct a star because the glasses and plates weren't completely clean—that was a real shame and somewhat spoiled the overall impression. We suspect it was more the dishwasher's fault than the team itself. Nevertheless, we'd definitely be happy to come back! 😊

We had the Mecklenburg meatloaf, schnitzel, and veggie pasta. It was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. Great service, and they even baked waffles outside of the usual time for the kids at the next table.

Went there for a fish platter in the evening with wine. Food was good, but not outstanding. What I find disturbing is a 'buddy-like' behavior between host and guest when they don't know each other at all.

When we told her we just wanted to walk through here, we were warmly greeted. 😀 Today we visited the street again. When looking for a restaurant, we studied all the menus in the area. When we read the menu at the “Zingster Scheune” we found our dishes straight away. As we made our way to the entrance, we were immediately greeted warmly by the waitress from yesterday. Beige dishes “GULASCH LIKE MUDDING” and “CHICKEN NOODLE PAN” were a hit and are highly recommended. Real culinary delights. 😍 In between we chatted very nicely with the friendly service. If we had a restaurant, we would poach them. 🥰👍 Great atmosphere, we really liked the ceiling lamps made from old wooden ladders. 😊 We forgive from the bottom of our hearts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My first fish solyanka, very tasty and plenty of fish. Very friendly service and nice outdoor area.

Location, service and prices are OK. The food only gets two stars because the sun is shining, otherwise it would only be one star. Frozen schnitzel with a mushy salad addition and the fish fillet turns out to be pangasius. We sit on the Baltic Sea and are served cheap fish from Asia. As a reminder, we are in Fischland-Darß-Zingst!

The waitress asked and sat down. Gone after 20 minutes after the same waitress walked past us 4 times without giving us the card once. Two other tables also came along, they probably sat for a much longer time without being noticed.

Very fast and friendly service! The fish dishes were perfectly balanced and delicious! We found the ambiance here much nicer than in the other fairly large and crowded restaurants nearby and would come back anytime!

The coffee doesn't taste good at all and the waffle is overpriced and doesn't taste particularly good either.

A few days ago we had a very tasty meal in this almost inconspicuous restaurant... freshly cooked and rich. Very friendly staff...hard core very soft shell. Recommended at any time. Although at first glance it somehow reminds you of a pub, the inside is quaint and cozy.
