Very tasty food in a wonderful ambience on the Burgsee in the middle of Bad Salzungen. We always enjoy coming. 😊👍

I can't add more to my previous reviewers if the rating is 5 stars. people whose Taste synapses However, they are more in the direction of a deep fryer out of place here. Fine cuisine is celebrated here.

Restaurant rating: A delicious cuisine that ranges from Mediterranean fusion to modern regional cuisine. A clear and well-thought-out menu, which is complemented by changing seasonal menus. Worth a visit, also because of the location. Parking on site is easy and cheap.

We had dinner with 5 people in this restaurant on June 15, 2024. I had previously inquired about access for a person with walking difficulties. Access via the inner courtyard was confirmed by telephone. When we stood in front of this door, we were initially denied access by an extremely unfriendly employee with a teacher-like demeanor. After a short discussion we were allowed to use the access (as an exception!). Tomato soup was ordered as a starter. This was served with moldy 🤢toast. When asked, this was exchanged silently and without apology. A main course (filled ravioli) was served completely without sauce. This only came after the main course was almost finished - but at least with an apology. It should be added that the canceled parking card didn't work either. So we had to run back - again no apology - just the comment: “Well then just try these”. All in all, not an experience that corresponds to fine dining. The quality of the other dishes was very good. Unfortunately, the unpleasant incidents push this into the background. Therefore not recommended for this price range.

Had dinner yesterday in the beautifully located restaurant. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has no relation. If I charge 24.80 euros for a burger, I would expect something special. The noodles (children's dish) could have been softer. The service staff sneaked through the dining room too often for no apparent reason, which I personally found very annoying. The best thing was the ambience and the drinks.

Refusal to work with excellence. When the weather is beautiful in spring, half of the terrace is cordoned off with a flimsy excuse due to water damage. Brazen.

The terrace overlooking the lake was lovely. However, the service was expensive. Reordered bread for salad (there was none): I was then charged 3.00 euros for four small, thin slices of baguette.

We went for Valentine's Day dinner! It was overwhelming... the menu composition was very successful and fairly priced at €49.50 for a 4-course meal. The service at the table was super friendly, quick and accurate! In short: absolute recommendation… we'll be back!

Was today, December 26th. at 2 p.m. in the Kurhaus and wanted to have a drink, but I was complimented and told that that wasn't possible because it closed at 3 p.m. However, some tables were still occupied by guests. Sorry, but that's not possible, I've never experienced anything like that. I actually wanted to go there again to eat, but that's over. Or they didn't want me because I wore an oxygen nasal cannula, but no matter, the Kurhaus was taken care of.

The restaurant is upscale in style and menu, but really fair in terms of price. You should explicitly state that you are vegetarian. (Otherwise you get a non-vegetarian starter as a welcome.) Very friendly service. Gladly again. We recommend.

An excellent restaurant in a wonderful location. The service is very attentive and friendly. The kitchen has a lot to offer and surprised us with its very good quality. The price performance ratio is very good. Keep it up. You are our personal number 1.

Wir waren nur zu essen da. Der Service warxsehr freundlich. Die Qualität der Zutaten war sehr hochwertig. Wenn der Koch jetzt noch schaft, aus diesen Zutaten ein hochwertiges Gericht zu zubereiten, wäre der Preis gerechtfertigt. Deswegen sind die Gerichte leider nur Durchschnitt.

Wunderschön gelegen direkt am See. Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung.

Leider nicht das was ich erwartet habe, ich habe ein 250g Rindsfilet Medium bestellt, bekommen habe ich es roh und kalt. Die Dekoration/Saucen auf dem Teller hatten eine ungewöhnlich intensive Farbe, die wohl nur mit Farbstoffen erreicht werden kann. Die Kräuterbutter war gekauft, obwohl doch so etwas sehr einfach herzustellen ist. Die Süsskartoffel Pommes wären sehr gut gewesen, wenn da nicht ein Geschmacksverstärker-Pommes-Salz verwendet worden wäre. Die Lokation selbst ist sehr schön und die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und schnell. Beim Essen müsste man sich bei diesen Preise etwas mehr Mühe geben.

Nette Atmosphäre und wunderschöne Lage am See

Beeindruckendes Ambiente aufgrund der Lage am Bad Salzunger Burgsee. Gehobene Speisen was sich allerdings auch am Preis bemerkbar macht.

Das Essen war wirklich gut (Tomatensuppe, Putenröllchen, Thunfisch), die Umgebung/das Ambiente auf der Terrasse wirklich toll, nur der Service war sehr langsam und Möchte-gern-Jovial, etwas distanzlos, sonst wären es 5 Sterne.

Eigentlich schön dort auf der Terrasse. Leider schließt diese bereits um 17:00 Uhr und die Mitarbeiter fangen um 16:15 Uhr an alles zusammen zu packen und die Strandkörbe zu verriegeln. Sehr schade, damit wird ein schöner Ort extrem ungemütlich…

Tolles Essen, toller Service, und vor allem glutenfreies leckeres Essen kann ich mit Zöliakie sehr gut essen👍

Ein perfekter Ort zum Essen gehen. Gehobene Küche, dementsprechende Preise, aber für die Qualität völlig im Rahmen. Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Alles Wow. Von der Einrichtung, übers Ambiente, dem freundlichen, tunesischen Empfang, Freundlichkeit, Service. Waffeln mit Kirschen, Eis und Sahne sehr zu empfehlen. Viele Grüße

Durch Familienfeier zum Essen gekommen.Alle Gäste der Feier waren vom Essen begeistert,geschmacklich super. Herr Khalifa Mathlouti,das Küchenteam und das Serviceteam waren sehr bemüht um uns. Es war für uns ein schöner gelungener Abend Dank dem Personal des Kurhauses,dass uns bedient hat.

Konnten uns mit dem Hund auf die Terrasse setzen und Mittag essen. Hund bekam auch Wasser. Service sehr freundlich

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Doppelzimmer war sehr geräumig mit einem großen und sehr sauberem Bad. Ein schönes Balkon mit Seeblick. Insgesamt stimmte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch das Frühstück entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Sonderwünsche wurden "perfect to order" realisiert. Empfehlenswert!

Wir haben im Kurhaus zu Abend gegessen. Die Qualität der Speisen war gut. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise, Hauptgang und einen Gruß aus der Küche und diverse Getränke. Das Personal war freundlich und wir mussten auf unsere Speisen nicht lange warten allerdings war das Restaurant nur zur Hälfte gefüllt..... wir können es empfehlen.
