City Grill & Pizzeria in Bad Salzungen

1) It's cool that the place offers food until late at night. 2) It's not cool that the salad menu doesn't mention onions, even though you can opt out if you want them. Unfortunately, it didn't make sense to remove them because the salad tastes like onions. 3) See the picture of an opened large Schnitzel Callzone for €12. I'm at a loss for words. To be fair, I have to say that I ate two of those small schnitzel wedges when I first cut them up. But overall, there are more onions than schnitzel. I realize that these days, a business owner has to cut costs whenever possible. But cutting a schnitzel into small pieces, and it looks like, for 3x large Schnitzel Callzones, they use 3 slices of salami, a sliced ​​mushroom, a handful of finely chopped onions, spices, a drop of oil, and some batter around it, and they sold it all for probably €36. This borders on extortion... Apart from the misleading name "large schnitzel calzone"... What I have in front of me could at most be described as: Onion dumplings with mushrooms, salami, and a few trimmed schnitzel edges Unbelievable I basically paid for: 2x onion dumplings with mushrooms, salami, and a few trimmed schnitzel edges 1x salad that was quite OK (except for the missing onion ingredient) 1x 1L Coca-Cola I paid over €40 when I picked it up myself... I think it was €43 +/- €1 I will never get food from here again...

Well, where do you start? We wanted to spend a relaxing evening by the lake and ordered from City Grill via Lieferando. Unfortunately, we didn't have an exact address because we were sitting by the water – so we provided the nearest address and clearly (!) stated in the delivery instructions where exactly we were sitting and that the driver would simply drive a little further. What happened next was more of an adventure than a delivery service. The driver called (at least) – unfortunately, he barely understood us, even though we explained several times where he needed to go. At some point, he simply hung up. A second attempt to call remained unanswered. We thought maybe calling the restaurant would clarify things. But guess what. Instead of help, we received an annoyed tone – our address supposedly didn't exist (strange, Google Maps seems to know it). What was particularly strange was that they even accused us of having "no way there" – even though we were sitting right next to a perfectly normal, passable road. But sure, why take the customer's word for it? When I asked if I could get my money back, since the order on Lieferando had been marked as "completed," I was half-snarled: the food was ready, after all, and they had "done everything." No solution to the problem? Instead: a hold. Nice. Luckily, the driver found us after all – without any further communication, of course. So the food arrived (yay), but that doesn't change the fact that the entire process was a complete disaster in terms of customer communication. Conclusion: The food was okay, but if you don't happen to be right on their doorstep, be patient – ​​or better yet, order somewhere else.

One of the best restaurants in Bad Salzungen. Clean and hygienic – they even have hand sanitizer with alcohol. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it!

Zero stars eig has deteriorated so much in terms of taste. There were four of us and everyone ordered a pizza, it was catastrophic. Zero taste, the dough wasn't cooked through, the cheese dripped to the point where it wouldn't work, everything was greasy & the egg wasn't even cooked through. It used to be better.

Sunday evening 6 p.m....lots to do...very busy...lots of calls. Guests very loud... Food quality shouldn't suffer...pasta stuck together...I've been there many times and it was really good.

Don't understand the bad reviews. The food is really top! It's normal for a pizza to be "labrig" when you order it because: Condensation from the heat in the box and the special sauce is always different at every pizzeria, but it doesn't matter, the garlic sauce is really great! . Doner/Pizza/Dürum are always top too! In my area, City Grill is one of the best pizzerias there is, and I've tried kebabs everywhere! And they were never as good as at City Grill etc. Result: 5/5🌟

Have ordered food. And the pizza arrived in a completely soaked box. Pizza wasn't crispy either but rather mushy. Definitely not enjoyable. More care should be taken during delivery. You can't offer something like that to customers.

Ordered a kebab plate with “special sauce”. How can you describe tzatziki as a special sauce? Then write that on it, my goodness. If I order extra with “special sauce”, the salad comes with garlic sauce, of course. Wow, really well thought out. The kebab meat was OK. Fries too but nothing special. My mayo was forgotten, but it wouldn't have helped because the tzatziki was poured all over the fries. Salad not my thing. But they were friendly and the food came very quickly. Prices are definitely okay. If you know what you're ordering, I think it's a good shop

Viel Platz sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Mein Big-Döner: Fleisch war etwas trocken. Zutaten wirkten frisch, wenn auch zu wenig. Großes Brot mit dem Inhalt eines normalen (mir gewohnten) Döners. Geschmacklich brauche ich einfach mehr Soßen als nur 2. Aber langsam lerne ich, dass Mitte/ -und Süddeutschland das nicht anders kennen. Daher gebe ich mal 3 Troststerne. Ich kam auch hier auf Empfehlung, wurde aber erneut enttäuscht. Ich bin einfach zu sehr nordisch verwöhnt.

Der Gurkensalat, eher eine ganze Supermarkt-Gurke mit Schale in riesige Stücke geschnitten und Dressing drüber gekippt, war ein Witz für 5,50€. Die Pizza war für 7,00€ ok aber nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

Positiv : schnelle Lieferung und sehr freundlicher Lieferfahrer Negativ : Essen bereits kalt bei Lieferung, ein Gericht vergessen zu liefern, und die Pizza bestand nur aus Teig und Käse, die Pizzasoße wurde total vergessen.

Bester Döner weit und breit. Die Öffnungszeiten sind auch top in Gegensatz zu anderen die schon um 22 oder 23 Uhr zu machen. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, und wenn man solang aufs Essen wartet sind auch 2 Spielautomaten da wo man mit etwas Glück sein essen wieder reingeholt hat 😅. Wer sich hier beschwert den sollen beim Händewaschen die Ärmel runterrutschen.

Es wird regulär etwas vergessen. Ob es um extra Wünsche wie z. B Schafskäse oder Soße geht.Geld wird natürlich im vollen Umfang genommen.Natürlich kann so was passieren aber fast immer?!

Gerichte sind echt in Ordnung. Lokal ist für einen Imbiss echt hübsch. Manche Gerichte sind vielleicht etwas zu mager, aber das ist nicht viel an Kritik. Für einen Imbiss ist City Grill echt gut und dafür 4 Sterne.
