We had dinner last night: pleasant place, excellent food, honest prices, friendly and welcoming service Highly recommended!

I didn't know the restaurant yet. You can eat really well here and the stay was very pleasant. A reservation might make sense.

After waiting 20 minutes without a menu, a couple who were sitting right next to me gave me theirs. Even they had to intervened to get my order taken, because he was ignoring me for the second time. After ordering I waited another 20 minutes for my cappuccino, which never arrived. When I asked about it, the server casually said it wasn’t being made. After a total of 40 minutes for nothing, I decided to leave, and he simply said, “Okay, bye,” with no apology. As a local customer who dines with friends and family, this was very disappointing. I hope you can look into it.

Top restaurant!!!! if you got lost in Berlin. I can confirm this is a great restaurant.

Despite some personnel decisions by the management and despite the widespread shortage of staff in service and kitchen, the restaurant manager Matthias manages to keep the place running. The food is consistently good and of a high standard. Wiener schnitzel is always recommended, and of the changing seasonal offers, the onion roast beef is currently my favorite. From the extensive drinks menu, I would like to mention the fine Brugal rum from the Dominican Republic, which you can't get everywhere. The remaining staff are competent, enthusiastic about their work and sometimes a little reserved towards the guests, but always very polite. Korsakow: the number 1 in the neighborhood, always worth a visit and a recommendation.

After we were very satisfied last year, we stopped here again today. The homemade Belgian waffles with bacon were prepared quickly and warm at our table. It fit and tasted very well. The homemade elderflower lemonade was the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back.

Basically great restaurant. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience when we made reservations for brunch. We looked for a buffet on site in vain, when we asked we were assured that there was brunch but in the end it was only an à la carte breakfast (As I understand it, brunch was/is a buffet where you can put together your meal from a variety of dishes). It's a real shame, although I also have to emphasize that the food and service were still okay.

Das Kurhaus Korsakow am Boxhagener Platz in Berlin-Friedrichshain ist für mich seit Jahren eine absolute Lieblingsadresse. Ich besuche dieses Restaurant regelmäßig und kann mit Überzeugung sagen, dass die Qualität der Speisen und der Service über all die Jahre auf konstant hohem Niveau geblieben sind. Die Küche bietet klassische deutsche Gerichte mit einer kreativen Note – bodenständig, aber immer mit dem gewissen Pfiff. Der Service ist durchweg superfreundlich und aufmerksam, was den Aufenthalt jedes Mal zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis macht. Fazit: Das Kurhaus Korsakow bleibt über die Jahre hinweg ein echtes Juwel der Berliner Gastronomie. Wer deutsche Küche auf hohem Niveau und mit einer Prise Kreativität liebt, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen!

We briefly went into the restaurant and were directed outside by the unfriendly waiter with the sentence: “We don’t have anything free.” Without a greeting and with a long face. We couldn't even say hello. If you're looking for an unfriendly waiter, you'll find one in this shop.

Food could be warmer. But the drinks were great.

We were there at Christmas, the service was very bad. From Augn twisted when ordering and the greeting "she too" We got our starter after 1 hour and then our food 30 minutes later. The fries for the 3 year old took 1.1/2. We forgot that we wanted to pay, we had to wait again! Ultimately 3 hours for lunch.

This place offers a very authentic German experience at a very affordable price. I highly recommend their schnitzel!

I can't understand the good reviews! We were there in a group, service was very poor and the price-performance ratio was bad - I had "Gänsekeule" for 28 EUR and what I got was a very small portion of poultry, dumplings were not made freshly by hand but out of a commercial cooking bag, and the portion was really really small. Also, I had a "big" salad for around 10 EUR, which was just a hand full of lettuce with 1/3 of a carrot spread on top. I can only guess that most tourists are in their cuddly tourist mode and find everything great, even if they're ripped off. Will not recommend!

Excellent food and drink with large portions

Delicious. Solid Berlin cuisine, cooked by professionals. Very friendly staff. Even when the store is full, everyone puts in a lot of effort. A restaurant that absolutely needs to be preserved.

We found the restaurant by chance during an internet search. Everything was fine. The food was very tasty, large portions. We had cordon bleu and venison goulash with potato dumplings. They were homemade, not out of a bag. Very nice atmosphere and nice staff. The restaurant is also very easy to reach. Bus number 240 stops right in front of the door.

Well, it was probably bad luck that Christmas parties were also announced or simply Friday the 13th. This made it a bit loud and the service apparently overlooked us. After our drinks and main course we left. Maybe we'll have better luck next time. There is definitely a second chance.

First we waited for an hour until the drink order was taken, then we forgot some of it. The waiter didn't even know the menu. The waitress explained to us that the drink didn't taste good. The starters took forever and one was even forgotten. The main course was mashed potatoes and spaetzle instead of dumplings. When we complained, we were told that there were no dumplings today. Unfortunately this was not mentioned when ordering. As compensation there were two desserts for free. The spaetzle was inedible because it was soaked in butter. Unfortunately too greasy. The vegan food was burnt. The rest tasted good. We were disappointed.

Very pleasant "corner pub" that certainly once was and wants to revive it again. But not too intentional and very quiet and nice, the opposite of a corner pub. Good food, fast and attentive service. You can enjoy German cuisine, but also new cuisine. I don't know whether a glass of wine has to cost 10€... but Korsakov isn't alone in the area. Otherwise very appealing!

An evening with ups and downs The two of us met here. The quality of the food and drinks was ok, but I don't understand the significance of the 64 degree egg. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. Long waiting times for drinks, no extra ice cream as requested, 2 starters didn't come at the same time but only when asked one after the other, the main course was served with the wrong side dish. In the end we sat in front of empty plates and glasses, no one cared about us. I have to say it's a shame, a friend's recommendation was unfortunately a flop!

Even got in with training pants 😜

I had the 3 course Goose dinner, it was quite tasty. The staff speak English and they menu is also in both German and English. Highly recommend, but definitely get a reservation.

Our evening started well with an aperitif and starter. Unfortunately we then had to wait 2 hours for our food. Having to eat a main course at 9:45 PM is a big letdown for us. Shame. We could have enjoyed it, but not in these circumstances.

Had dinner with my family today for my birthday… delicious beer and venison goulash… what more could you want! We'll be back! Oh yes, it's better to make a reservation on the weekend as it was quite full. Otherwise great staff!!! Very attentive!!!!

A nice restaurant serving classic German dishes. It is necessary to make a reservation, especially for dinner, as it will be crowded. There is an extensive wine menu. Credit cards are accepted.

Despite the hut being quite full, we still managed to get a spot on a Sunday evening. Very cozy in terms of ambience and mood; The service was very good and we were served drinks and schnitzel quite quickly. The food was very tasty, great value for money! We will definitely come back

Wir waren zu dritt dort und rundum zufrieden, jedoch mit einer Einschränkung. Die Kalbsleber war sehr dick geschnitten und nur knapp durchgebraten. Alles andere sehr lecker und die weibliche Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, der männliche Kollege allerdings weniger. Aber alles in allem eine gemütliche Kneipe.

Waren hier zum Frühstück und es war richtig lecker, vorallem frisch und mal was anderes Ausgefallenes. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Es war hervorragend. Das Essen war super lecker, die besten Klopse die ich je in einem Restaurant gegessen habe, sowie auch das Schnitzel meiner Begleitung. Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich. Das einzige, was mir sehr stark aufgefallen ist, war der Geräuschpegel der Bar. Ich gehe bestimmt 4 mal die Woche essen, und in jedem Restaurant sind die gleichen Geräte, die Kaffeemaschine, der Cocktailmixer, die Schankanlage etc.... Aber hier war es zum 1. Mal alles sehr sehr laut, das habe ich noch nirgends so erlebt. Ich habe noch nie soo viel extrem laute Geräusche gehört, beim nutzen der Kaffeemaschine, des Milchaufschäumers, des mixen des Cocktails, des entleeren des Kaffeesatzes etc.... und nein, ich bin nicht empfindlich. Eher im Gegenteil. Aber das hier war schon extremst laut. Was wirklich auch die ganze Zeit über sehr gestört hat.

It was outstanding. The food was super delicious, the best dumplings I've ever eaten in a restaurant, as well as the schnitzel from my companion. Service staff was very friendly. The only thing that really struck me was the noise level of the bar. I probably eat out four times a week, and every restaurant has the same equipment, the coffee machine, the cocktail mixer, the dispensing system, etc... But here it was For the first time everything was very, very loud, I've never experienced it like that before. I've never heard so many extremely loud noises when using the coffee machine, the milk frother, mixing the cocktail, emptying the coffee grounds, etc... and no, I'm not sensitive. Quite the opposite. But this was extremely loud. Which was really annoying the whole time.

Great store and nice to spend time there. Despite many reserved tables, we still managed to get a seat. Delicious food, praise for the service. A Hefeweizen for almost 6 euros was less pleasing.

Breakfast a la carte is even better than buffet - top quality. Great food in the evenings, which has actually increased significantly since the change in chef... Drinks on offer are very nice, especially for wine drinkers. I'd love to come back!

Had the trout once, it was perfect. Had it again a few weeks later and it was underseasoned and undercooked, and the cucumber salad was too oily. I hope the second experience was the anomaly.

This place is a no go for brunch on a Sunday. The place is understaffed, and the staff who is there is unapologetic about significant delays in food. We waited for 1 full hour for a simple brunch, and then the food for all 4 of us arrived cold. hen the food eventually arrived, they brought the food in a weird staggered way, so that the table beside us got half their order and we got half our order. Then both tables waited another 7-8 minutes for the rest of our orders to arrive (eg. the bread arrived many minutes after the omelette). This is disappointing because there usually is a manager here at dinner time (maybe the owner?), who is super nice and respectful. We’ve had positive experiences in the past, but would not go again for brunch and certainly not with out-of-town guests visiting Berlin.

We ordered the fish (after we were told that on a Saturday night 2 things were not available from the menu) we had to wait 60 minutes then the fish was raw. Not a good experience, but our waiter was great and did everything to compensate so service is really good but the food not so much.

I don't think I've ever experienced such slow service and poorly trained. I have to honestly admit that my time is too valuable for me. Food was ok but everything probably tasted good after an hour of waiting. The 10% tip was just out of politeness because I come from the catering industry myself

Not recommended for brunch. Service is good but extremely slow. My salmon eggs benedict came with hard boiled egg yolks instead of poached eggs (the server did say they would replace them, but it had been a long wait already). Lastly, this place used to do the best Bloody Mary in the whole of Berlin, it's now just OK, and gone is the celery and the Worcester sauce. The dinner menu is, being German, very meat and bread centric, although the dishes are apparently very nice (I don't eat meat, and unfortunately I have a gluten intolerance). Handy for my neighbourhood, but it's sadly declined since reopening after the pandemic. Lastly, I wouldn't write such a critical review if it were the first time I had had a less than positive experience for my brunch, dinners have always been much better.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my visit. Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy at 2pm. Our food took 40 minutes to be served and the drinks also took a while - at least 15 minutes for a simple reorder. The waiter seemed stressed and unprofessional. It almost seemed like he was under some kind of influence, which made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. The food itself was okay, but not outstanding - unfortunately a bit bland and hardly seasoned. The table wasn't cleared either, even though we waited a long time. Overall, a very disappointing experience that I don't want to repeat in this form again.

We live close by and this is the perfect spot to have a cold beverage and watch the food market on saturday (flea market on Sunday) at boxi, the Center of Friedrichshain. The Crew ist super nice and the food tastes amazing too. Tip: the käsespätzle are one of the best in Berlin

Delicious German food. I got liver and it was super delicious and a big portion. My girlfriend had wiener schnitzel, it was crispy and juicy, with fried potatoes with bacon.

All around great! Food, service and ambience! Our stay at Kurhaus Korsakov was very nice. The loving and guest-oriented service made us immediately feel at home. The food was to die for. My recommendation: toasted farmer's bread and seasonal vegetables. We will definitely come back next time we stay.

Delicious! Just sit in the middle of F-Hain and experience hearty home cooking with a light fusion kitchen touch. The service was fabulous and was on point despite the hut being full. The view is great, the drinks are modern and the food is extremely tasty. Gladly again and again.

Our first meal in Berlin, quiet place, with indoor and outdoor tables, hearty and tasty food, meats, potatoes, bread, creams, pâtés, etc., good German house wine, the interior atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly and close but knowing how to maintain the necessary distance. My dish was meatballs with exquisite roast potatoes, my daughter and my wife had steaks and my son-in-law had schnitzel. It is not cheap, about 45 euros per person, but the place and the quality deserve it.

was surprised by how much i enjoyed my meal here; it’s casual and classy, the staff are really lovely and service was seamless, and the food was amazing - the ‘64 degrees egg’ starter was an absolute standout! so savoury and creamy and a bit cheesy. the food is served beautifully and the mains were also delicious. the price is completely worth the quality of everything. literally have no complaints.

Fue mi primera cena al llegar este año a Berlin, fue elección de mi hija que vivió cerca de esta zona. Comimos con mucho gusto y apetito, buena elección de entrantes, excelente el pan y mi plato principal eran unas albondigas con papas asadas excelentes, mi hija según recuerdo pidió un filete con hongos muy sabroso. El ambiente acogedor, tiene mesas dentro y fuera, nosotros lo hicimos dentro, mas íntimo y acogedor y hacía un poco de frio. Muy buen servicio, incluso el propietario nos atendió y nos recomendó personalmente. No es barato pero vale la pena. Sin dudas lo recomiendo.

He estado en este lugar muchas veces ya que es bastante bonito, en un rincón tranquilo de una plaza concurrida, y el menú está bien. Mi última visita fue para el brunch, que molestamente solo sirven hasta alrededor de la 1 pm (una familia que intentó pedirlo a las 12 . 55 se les dijo que no) , y a pesar de que la calidad de la comida es en el mejor de los casos promedio, hacen grandes malditas Marías. Frustrantemente, mi cóctel llegó después de mi benedicto de salmón medio frío, y el apio no se lavó correctamente, pero bueno, lo que sea. La cena es normalmente bastante agradable, limitado, muy alemán - menú orientado, lo que significa solo opciones vegetarianas limitadas, pero aparentemente el schnitzel es bueno. Ah, olvídalo si tienes requisitos relacionados con el gluten. El servicio es amable, normalmente bueno, aunque el personal parece tomarse un poco en serio. Un poco caro en comparación con las alternativas locales, pero repito, la maldita Mary es genial.

It is a great place with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Real candles on the tables and fresh flowers. Places are comfortable and food and drinks are very good. Maybe a bit on expensive side, but I would say that is worth the price. We were a group of 7 people and were quite comfortable. Staff is friendly and not invasive. It is also a very good location. Tram stop is not far.

Normally I am always very happy with the food and Jann confirms positive reviews. But no, last visit was unfortunately a total disappointment. I ordered schnitzel with asparagus, my companion only ordered the schnitzel. This was also super tasty, although my schnitzel was only half the size of my companion's. But the problem was the asparagus. It was inedible. Woody and with gray spots. I don't actually know anything about the restaurant. Of course I didn't eat it and also complained about the asparagus. As compensation we got an espresso on the house. I still had to pay for the expensive asparagus, even though I couldn't eat it.
