Thüringer Stuben in Berlin

There were three of us there on Sunday around 3 p.m., about half of the tables were free, we were asked if we would like to eat something, we just wanted to eat a little something, then the comment came that we can't make any money with that and a counter table was suggested to us with the entrance door in the back in January, we politely declined... customer service is different...

The location is really nice and cozy...The contrast is clear between the nice atmosphere and the aura that the staff gives off (probably a little overwhelmed), so maybe not as friendly as the place deserves. Too bad...

Solid food and cozy atmosphere. The service could be a little friendlier. The employees aren't really unfriendly, but they aren't warm either. Otherwise a lovely evening and definitely worth recommending.

It was as if we had taken a trip to Thuringia. But it was only a few kilometers to this wonderful restaurant. The service was incredibly attentive and took great care of each and every guest. Special requests for food were no problem at all. All the dishes were cooked to perfection, the meat was super tender and the side dishes were also very tasty. Now that we have discovered the gem, we will be happy to go there again.

Traditional restaurant in terms of ambience it fits. The goose was okay but the sauce was unfortunately very weak. But goose with dumplings depends on a good sauce. The service was friendly and authentic. But I wouldn't go there again for goose dinner.

The food is really a disgrace! As an original Thuringian, I have to say that this has nothing to do with the quality of good Thuringian cuisine. 30 € for two ready-made dumplings (without taste), a bit of sauce (without taste), a bit of red cabbage, and a very dry leg of goose! The spaetzle was oversalted but cost €20! The service is average and the restaurant is cozy, but actually it's a rip-off for the price, but it seems to be enough for one or two tourists. I have no problem spending a lot of money on good food in a restaurant (and I don't mean the size of the portion on the plate) but this is just being cheeky. Unfortunately the quality has been very poor for years and I was hoping it would get better, but that's probably not the case. It would be better to invest the money in good food.

Typical good German food in a rural like environment near the center east of Berlin. Friendly waiters round up an excellent experience in a place with 29 years of tradition. We had deer in a red wine sauce and wild boar in a black beer sauce and it was both am excellent choice like usual.

Me and 6 other friends waited 2 hours for our food, when it arrived it started to rain, since our table was outside, we and the food got all wet, that. The waiter came and instead of opening the little awning, He came to us and told us to get up so he could grab the cushions on our seats, he didn't want the cushions to get wet, and then left us standing in the rain. Not to mention the overall annoyed and unfriendly attitude we received from all the staff in every interaction, the worst service I have ever experienced!

We have eaten there several times and have also celebrated birthdays there. The service, the food and the ambience - everything is perfect! Special wishes for today's 90th birthday party were also implemented very friendly and with great attention to detail.

Good, authentic German restaurant in the heart of Berlin. Rich and abundant dishes without being expensive. The knuckle and the Käsespätzle are very delicious as well as the Kartoffelnsalat. The beer is also very delicious.

Here I ate Thuringian Rostbrätl with delicious onions and fried potatoes for a fair price.

Asparagus dish was good overall, but 17.50(!) for extremely oily (ready-made?) spaetzle with a few mushrooms and spring onions is... extreme? Ratings of 5 are completely incomprehensible to me

Roast Bratwurst with potatoes and sauerkraut is tasty, satisfying and good value. Eat here, Be happy.

No, we cannot and will not accept the fact that since our representatives have shouted "Inflation! Inflation!!" shout out, now every banal eatery without any particular claim thinks that it can charge far more than 20 euros for its main courses. Not to mention the drink prices. The price-performance ratio is simply no longer right here. It's better to enjoy cooking yourself again, which also offers the advantage that you know the quality of the products used...

St. Martin's Day @ Thuringian Stuben. feels so good. Asparagus and Wienerschnitzel are not to be despised either!

Extremely quaint shop, waitresses have accents, food and beer from Thuringia. Warning: Main courses are so filling that starters should be shared. The lard bread was served with pickled vegetables. Roast pork was tender and juicy. Vegetarians should probably stay away...

You can eat really good and tasty food here. It's cooked authentically and with fresh ingredients - so fresh that there aren't even frozen fries (which is a bit good 😉). I can recommend it to anyone who likes a traditional, home-style meal!

The best at asparagus season. Super fresh and very good. Also served lovingly. Every year anew. The gauge glass was immediately refilled.

I was happy to come and eat in this restaurant since my stays in the neighborhood. The food is very good but the waiter's antipathy is at the height of his art. He apparently doesn't like foreign tourists. No effort to explain the menu and specialties to you, for the wines annoyed by our questions he "threw" the menu on the table and left... Too bad

Tasty, hearty food at moderate prices in a rustic atmosphere. Pleasant staff who work quickly without seeming rushed. Even though we were there on a Tuesday, we had done well to reserve a table in advance. It was very crowded. Parking spaces are located on the side streets. We found one about 200 meters away. With parking ticket.

Very, very good (East) German cuisine. Seasoned meat, sauerbraten and schnitzel are very tasty. I've never had such good dumplings and red cabbage. All of this also explains the increased price, because it is justified.

Wir waren gestern (19.12.2023) in diesem Lokal und ich habe ein eindeutig positives Fazit zu ziehen.. Es war einfach wunderbar... Ich hatte mir einen Sauerbraten bestellt und es war eine einzige Offenbarung.. Herrlich zubereitet und auch von der Menge her optimal... Schade nur, dass mein Magen keine weitere Kapazität hatte. Sonst hätte ich Nachschlag bestellt.. Alles in Allem kann ich sagen: Ich komme gerne wieder!!

Wir waren hier am 08.12.23 zu viert am Abend essen. Eine Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert. Die Preise sind der heutigen Zeit angemessen. Eine Grillhaxe kostet 19.90€ und eine grosse Rinderroulade liegt bei knapp 23€. Der Kellner kam kurz nachdem wir Plazz nahmen und nahm die Getränkebestellung entgegen. Diese kamen innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Und dann gaben wir unsere weitere Bestellung auf. Ich hatte die Grillhaxe mit Klößen für 1.50€ extra und meine Frau und unsere Freundin die Rinderroulade. Unser Freund hatte die Gänsebrust. Das Essen kam zeitgleich innerhalb von 30 Minuten. Top. Jedoch war die Sauce etwas sehr salzlastig, wahrscheinlich aufgrund des langen köchelns. Oder er war verliebt zu Weihnachten. Wer weiß. Die Haxe war lecker, hätte für meinen Geschmack noch etwas gebraucht, damit sich das Fleisch leichter vom Knochen löst. Auf unsere Informationen über die Sauce hielt der Kellner mit der Küche Rücksprache und sie kamen zum gleichen Ergebnis. Als Entschuldigung gab es einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Das ist gelebter Kundenservice. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder und testen die Speisen nochmal. In der Hoffnung eines salzigen Ausrutschers. Denn der Rest hat gepasst und wir hatten einen schönen Abend in entspannter und uriger Atmosphäre.

Service war ok. Essen ist halt immer eine Geschmacksache. Die Gänsebrust war gut die Beilagen eher mau.

Originale Hausmannskost, köstlich ehrlich ohne Schnick Schnack. Sehr freundliche familiäre Bedienung in heimeliger Atmosphäre. Wir kommen jederzeit sehr gern wieder.

I am an English speaker and my wife has several food allergies to dairy, gluten and nuts. They had an English menu available and my wife had a delicious meal of their roast goose with red cabbage apple slaw and dumplings (without gluten). The staff was very accommodating and kind, the food and drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
